Wow! Is all I can say. I was at the Kenora Flooring store just now and they went above and beyond and even staying after they were closed for me. Everytime I have been here they have given me exceptional services and unbeatable prices! If anyone is doing any kind of home renovations flooring, tile, carpet, etc. please go and see them 1st! Seriously it will be the best experience you had and their prices will surpass everyone's else in town. They want the business and take the time to help you and answer all your questions I even go to pick through all the tiles to pick my favourtes. Now how cool is that!!! Definitely worth the trip in the store! Support Local Businesses that are locally owned and operated. They all need our help.

Kenora Flooring doesn't do floor refinishing. They subcontract it out to Perry Ducharme Flooring out of Winnipeg. Our initial site visit with Scott & Perry went great, by the end of it my wife and I felt we all had a good understanding of what was to be done. We checked Perry out with some colleagues of ours and they were really pleased with his workmanship. So we hired Kenora Flooring to have Perry refinish our floors and stair treads. And then it all went south fast. Perry was timely, but had an excuse for everything and it was typically our fault even though assurances and details were confirmed at our initial site meeting. In the end his workmanship is just ok. There are sanding marks on most of our stair treads, he didn't condition the oak to match the stain for the different woods, he didn't sand under the kitchen toe kicks cause his "machine didn't fit", he covered most of our trim and baseboard in stain and even splattered stain on finished doors, walls and our island countertop. Once we were done with Perry, Scott provided a final invoice that "was ok, but I had several issues with". Scott took this as approval to charge our credit card for the remaining amount without our permission. Long story short, we had to cancel the credit card, Scott was a nightmare to communicate with and we got a credit off our final bill for all the stain that didn't end up on the floor. Unbeknownst to us Dean and his family at Rite-Way Decorators are local and refinish floors, so give them a call.

I love dealing with Kenora Flooring. We have most recently purchased Mannington vinyl but have previously purchased cork floor as well as ceramic tiles. In addition to having a great selection they are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Scott helped us on our most recent purchase. Would highly recommend.

Hours posted online are not correct. They are only open to 1 PM. They do not honour First Nations status cards for point of sale tax exemptions. They choose to accept the advisement of an "unidentified party" to not accept staus cards for tax exemptions and instead tell First Nations people to apply for the tax refund from the government. That is racism.
