I had a bad experience with a rude, irresponsible receptionist. You can't get done anything other than booking an appointment with the doctor. But not everyone in the staff is rude though.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Sarbit for the entire duration of my second pregnancy. She is honestly the best doctor I have ever encountered and so I envy anyone who was able to lock her down as their family practitioner! She never made me feel rushed, was super caring, always open to questions and has a super calming energy to her. The clinic itself is modern and beautiful and has a perfect spot for nursing moms or other littles that need to play. I found the entire staff to be incredibly warm, kind and super accommodating. My family and I will certainly miss Dr. Sarbit and Strathcona Medical!

Beautiful clinic, caring doctors! Appointment wait times can be long but that’s what happens when you have a lot of clients and a lot of pregnant women. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with this group of physicians!

Besides longer then usual wait times I have been seeing Dr. Rishi since i was around 16 when Dr. Tereposky retired, i am 21 now when i tell you this doctor has always been there for me and any concerns regarding my health i have ever had i mean it. Her personality is amazing and i can tell she cares not only about my health as her patient but also as a person. She’s extremely thorough and always calls to check up on me even if i just went to a walk in with a cold. She’s an amazing doctor my mom also see’s Dr. Rishi and raves about her as well!

Dr. Higgins and the rest of the staff are friendly, accommodating, welcoming & reassuring. As a first time mom with anxiety I cannot thank them enough for how their office is managed and how smooth the process is. Appointments are booked promptly with follow up emails to confirm. The office is clean and easy to get to with underground parking. Dr. Higgins herself is very knowledgeable, understanding and attentive with her patients.

Highly recommend strathcona medical clinic! I started coming here when I was pregnant and ended up being fortune enough to get in as a regular patient. I know they are now full to take on non pregnant patients but if you're looking for a unbelievable OB this is your place! They have 7 OB's in the office and a few share positions. Stratchcona medical has always been there for me and my family whenever we need it. Thank you for keeping us healthy. Maegan

UPDATE: NOW ON DAY 8 - STILL NO PHONE CALL WITH INR RESULT RUDE RECEPTIONIST - Still waiting for call from my doctor to go over blood work including my INR which I had done 8am on Monday. (Now 4 pm Friday) Hubby went on Wednesday for his INR and his doctor(Different practice) phoned the next day with results. I have phoned the office 3 times, the first receptionist I spoke with on Wednesday and again today was INCREDIBLY RUDE When I asked how soon I would hear back she said the Dr. will get to it when she gets to it! I finally was able to pull up results online .. I discovered my INR is off where it needs to be so currently playing doctor !! You would think my results would have been flagged and yet still no phone call .. A load of other results are way off where they should be. This has caused an incredible amount of undue stress and anxiety!

I’m stunned to see such grief about the receptionists. They’ve been so kind and amazing to me. I have to go to this clinic a lot. They’re always so kind and humourous! Also, I’ve had to see a variety of doctors from the clinic. All are unique but great in their own ways. I feel so supported during this pregnancy.

staff was rude and passive aggressive, wanted to know specifically how much my partner and I made (which isn't a lot) and pushed the more expensive things onto us. they never communicated with eachother or myself, i never had a clue what was going on. I found out I was anemic and had no idea because they never told me. do not recommend

I would highly recommend Dr Jennifer Meisner the best dr ever. She is very professional patient and kind, her understanding for your all concerns is comforting during such times, she is sincerely an amazing person I wish all dr were like her thank you for everything wish you always the best.

I have the privilege of having Dr. Jennifer Miesner as my doctor and I have nothing but gratitude and respect for her. The reception staff have all changed over the past couple of years with the exception of Vivienne who continues to be friendly, helpful and caring. Unfortunately, her lovely demeanor only exacerbates the other receptionists rude and impatient tone of voice and snappy answers, over the phone-when they get around to answering it....
