After sitting and waiting for over an hour to see a doctor, I am taken into a frigid office without word i.e. the doctor will be with you in a moment, or please have a seat. The doctor comes in, doesn't say anything and then leaves, leaving the door open. He does not introduce himself and proceeds to ask me what the issue is. I tell him I have something in my foot and it's causing me pain. He has a look at the thickness of skin above where there is something in my foot and declares I have a corn and I should go buy something for it in the drug store.
Then silence. I ask, what's a corn, even though I known it's formed in protection. He says "skin buildup." Again silence. I say, "so what will the corn treatment do if there is something in my foot?" He says "It will soften the skin." I say "but what will that do. I have something in my foot. You can feel it." He says "Well, I'm not going to go digging around for something." I then have to ask him who will, a podiatrist? He says probably without making eye contact and writing in his notes. Not giving a S**t about me, my foot pain or about being helpful.
I said on the way out, "this has been a complete waste of my time and he couldn't have been more unhelpful."
Why is it that doctor's can get away with such unmannerly, unhelpful behavior and we still pay their salaries?
For anyone who wants to be treated with disrespect and disregard, be sure to go to this clinic. Otherwise, you'd be better off going to emergency at the hospital. I got more from the internet than from this person pretending to be a doctor. I would put his name here but HE DIDN'T TELL ME WHAT IT WAS!!!
