I had the totally move my own schedule around for a follow up appointment that takes a few minutes to complete. I was there on time and waited. It's a long drive to get there in the first place and i had to get back to my farm for my evening appointments and couldn't wait any longer. That's very bad customer service. I paid roughly seven grand for vein work. It was excruciating during the procedure and painful for weeks following. It looks great now and no pain. Regardless why schedule an appointment time if you won't respect it?

I am beyond thankful for the doctors at Canada Vein Clinics! Before going to Canada Vein Clinics I went to other clinics that without ultrasound examination, recommended for me to get injections done. Needless to say, the injections didn’t work. When I went to Canada Vein for a consultation, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They did an ultrasound and then recommended the Clarivein procedure for me to get rid of my veins once and for all. The doctors and nurses fully outlined the procedure and addressed all of my questions. Immediately after having the procedure the pain in my legs went away, and two weeks later my varicose veins fully disappeared. I am also extremely happy with the follow-up care that the clinic offered, they continued to care for me and my legs long after having the procedure. Now I finally got my confidence back, wearing shorts! I would recommend Canada Vein Clinics to anyone, the care and expertise that they offer is like no other!

Beware! Beware! I booked an appointment with the Lindsay Clinic for treatment of cosmetic spider veins on my lower legs. They insisted that I needed a complete assessment. After their assessment they told me that I had bad varicose veins and needed a $7,000 treatment. I told them I was shocked as I have absolutely no symptoms (no tired legs, heavy legs, no aching legs). They explained that my spider veins were a direct result of a deeper problem and needed treatment. I decided to get a second option with a reputable vascular surgeon that my family doctor recommended. Imagine my surprise when I was told a have no varicose veins and do NOT need any treatment! In fact the Doctor asked me "why would anyone undergo a medical procedure when they have absolutely no issues". He also informed me that if I had needed treatment for varicose veins the cost would have been $2,200 not $7,000 that I was quoted. I also wasnt the first person he had seen that had a similar story with this same clinic. I urge you to please get a second opinion! This place is a scam!

My History I had developed varicose veins at the age of 18. By age 43 I had enough but my varicose veins had developed into the worst case Dr. Matz had ever seen. What Dr. Matz and his team did was simply amazing. He was able to rid me of my "Frankenveins" and I was finally able to wear shorts without the concern of someone's astonished/disturbed gaze. My only regret is that I didn't do it 20 years ago. Long-term For me the long-term benefits is due to my family's history with type 2 diabetes getting proper blood flow to my legs and feet are paramount to my long-term quality of life. I can finally jog as I am now able to build up endurance in my legs. My legs are no longer "tired" all the time.

I'm very happy with the results of my venaseal procedure. I had a spot by my ankle that was close to being an ulcer. Also, a few varicose veins. Some are now gone and one that was quite substantial is a bit noticeable but so much better. I didn't realize how heavy of a feeling I had in my legs now that its gone. I have nothing but the highest praise for Dr. Matz and his medical staff. Dr. Laura Matz was extremely informative and supportive prior to the procedure, answering all of my questions in a professional manner. The procedure itself was non -invasive, therefore minimizing the risk of infection and other post operative complications. Dr. Matz's calmness and professionalism instilled my utmost confidence in his skills. The post procedural regiment was clearly outlined, once again allowing for optimal healing by following his recommendations. Dr. Matz even gave me his private cell number if I had any concerns within 24hours of the procedure. A follow-up ultrasound the next day verified the success of the operation. Dr. Matz also required several follow-up visits to his clinic over the next several months for a quick ultrasound to ensure that the blood was flowing properly. I am so pleased that I had this surgery done. I was thrilled by its positive cosmetic effect, but equally grateful that the blood was now flowing through healthy veins, eliminating the potential of very serious complications. We are very fortunate that Dr. Matz is offering his professional skills and services in Atlantic Canada.

After having had several assessments and comments on what should be done or tried and get on "the list" (government health system) I chose to search out options on my own, with some support from a great nurse… A bit scary to say the least, what did I know about any medical issues, even questions I should be asking. All I knew was I had a problem and had to address it. It had been several years and still "I" had issues with veins and pressure on my leg. From applying creams that only thinned my skin to actually being prescribed iodine to ingest! My research brought me to Dr. Matz, I had my visit with some reservations, watched videos, reviewed pictures and a lot of reading. With all the questions answered and different procedures explained to me I did even more research. I came to the conclusion this was an avenue for me. The day of surgery I still had some reservations (who doesn’t) but after being greeted and given instruction as to what was being and what I needed to do, it was a walk in the park…truly. There wasn’t any pain or discomfort, I left and returned to work. I’ve had follow up visits and will continue for the next while which is all part of Dr. Matz professionalism. I strongly recommend anyone dealing with the pain and discomfort of varicose veins or having to wear stockings day in and out that you review what is on this site and meet with Dr. Matz. It will change your current everyday challenges.

I had the VenaSeal procedure done on one leg a year ago and the difference is amazing! No more pain and pressure in my upper thigh, big blue/purple patches on my shin, calf and foot or toe that frequently was blue. The procedure was not painful, a little discomfort but not anything that even a whimp like me couldn’t handle! I was extremely happy that following the procedure you are to walk, walk, walk. The more walking you do the better the results! I guess you might be as happy if you don’t like to walk. Dr Matz is a very knowledgeable, kind, caring and calming type of doctor. He is very professional and appointments were pretty much on time. Follow up has been very good; I still have a couple of little spider veins that should continue to improve but Dr Matz is willing to do a little touch up once he can get back to Halifax after Covid, if I want. I highly recommend going to the Canada Vein clinic, I wish I had gone much sooner than I did!

Visiting Dr. Matz was one of my better decisions. He performed surgery on both legs using clarivein, EVLT, and laser. Where I once had pain, I have none. My ankles are no longer swollen, and I can feel my toes again. I think what pleases me most is that I am no longer self conscious about the appearance of my legs.
