Was assigned a doctor saw him then he decided to refuse me saying that I had a doctor in another clinic. When called the RAMQ was told that there's was clearly a note saying"can have a doctor". Waited over 6 years for a doctor. Did not receive a call to tell me. did not even have the courtesy to explain or find out why. When I called for an appointment the lady was very rude and was told that it wasn't her problem and had to go.the doctor decided on his own to reject me after one visit. this is not the way to proceed he can not choose our let go of a patients. In my case he's at fault. I'm clearly not impressed by this clinic. clearly someone did not do their job properly. So now I'm the one paying for their actions. Now I'm without the help I need. It's a must in my case. Now I'm on a 327 days waiting list. In other words another 6 years. ????

in dire need to speak with or see a doctor, no one answers the phone, did not get any email back when registering. when I did get through once, the girl told me rudely that I had to book online, after I told her I was struggling with that.....very disappointed. will never go back there.

Edited: If you are coming for the walk in clinic, better not have expectations. Desk people can be mean and a nurse has made racist comments towards our family. (Don't allow it.) Also, the hospital would be faster if paying to go to Ontario's walk in is not an option. If you have a family doctor, some of them are kind. It is more bearable, convenient, and worth any stars. ????

I'm only giving this place 1 star because 0 isn t an option. My husband and I took our then 7 year old daughter when it had been open a few months. Then u could just do walk ins at the time because booking online was not an option. There were 3 people working at the desk,not really looking like they knew what they were really doing. We got told that we couldn't be seen( kids are supposed to be priority) because they were very busy????????.........There was no one sitting in the waiting room. My husband was upset and told them she really didn't feel good,but they just said we had to find another clinic. Anyways,made my day when she threw up on the floor on the way out????( 100% rude staff!!!!!!)

1. Set your alarm for 3am and attempt to book online. And if you're lucky enough to win that little lottery then spend the next morning wondering if it was all a dream. 2. Check your email to confirm that you do indeed have that sacred appointment with the doctor gods!! And please remember that you can't book any later than the next day so be prepared to piss off coworkers and boss when you have to tell them at the last minute that you need time off. 3. Arrive at the clinic with your guard up! Do not! I repeat do NOT get sucked in by the short wait time in the general waiting room! It's a ploy to lull you into feeling like your are surrounded by efficiency and professionalism. It's all a facade! 4. Enter a small exam room and be met by a very pleasant person who will take your blood pressure and pulse. Again - do not be fooled in to thinking this clinic is somehow different....somehow better than what you've heard about it. Remind yourself of the stories you were told about the abysmal health care system in Quebec. 5. This is when the real fun begins. Settle in for a long long wait. Pace, sit, check phone. Repeat. Over and over and over and over and......... 6. See #5 7. Start to question your life. Start wondering what brought you to the clinic in the first place. Exam your finger nails wondering if you should book an appointment for a manicure. Keep rising panic in check at the thought of dealing with ANY other appointment EVER again in your life. Wonder if this is what animals in a zoo feel like. 8. Begin to wonder if you're actually still in Canada. Can health care really be this appalling in Canada?? Really?? 9. Take a nap. Regret not bringing a pillow and blanket. 10. Leave. Leave knowing full well that no one, not ONE person working in that clinic noticed that you left. 11. Take comfort in knowing that you can leave Quebec one day and move back to Canada. Laugh and cry to yourself knowing that the crappy health care system alone is what would doom Quebec if it ever separated from the rest of Canada. 12. Start looking for a clinic in Ottawa. Be fully prepared to pay whatever it costs to be able to look after yourself. In effect - do what a vast majority in Gatineau already do.

i had been sick for over a week with a sore throat and very painful sinus problems. i have been coughing and have a lot of yellow mucus coming out of my mouth and nose. i was concern since i have problem in my throat with all that mucus making a whistle sound when i was breathing. one morning i woke up and was coughing out yellow mucus with blood, and that really concern me. i had problems sleeping on my back since the back of my neck was so sore. my sore throat never got better after a week, even if i rinse my throat with water and salt. so i made an appointment at the Medigo Clinic in Hull. when i entered the room where Dr. Kathlyne Douaire was sitting at the desk, she didn't even look at me when i came in the room and felt already that arrogant attitude from her, just like i was another product on the manufacture line. so right there she started a very bad connection with me, since i can feel things like that very easily. so she asked me what was wrong with me, so i told what was all my symptoms and explain to her that i only get sick once a year and during the rest of the year i'm always very healthy. so she start checking me, and asked me where it hurt, and she touching me in places on my face where it didn't hurt, and i try showing where is hurts on my face, because i know where it hurts on my face when you had very bad painful sinus infection you know exactly where it hurts on your face, neck and jaw. while i'm trying to explain and show to her, where it is hurting, she is tapping on my cheek where it doesn't hurt and i'm trying to show her where the pain is on my face, and then she gets all pissedoff at me, while i'm trying real hard here to keep my cool. then from no apparent reason, she tells me that she is going to give me some antibiotics and i can not reason with her. now i'm really confuse, and start asking question of what she talking about and she just keeps on going, while i trying to find the logic behind her behavior and her attitude. after a while, trying to understands her, i found out that with this unprofessional behavior and attitude this doctor should not be working at any clinic at all. i guess i have much better quality service and respect and understanding and doctors that will be patient and answer your question calmly will be at a private clinic where you pay a lot of money. so i guess i will continue to go to Appletree Clinic where as a sick patient, i won't get insult by a doctor because he or she has a behaviour or attitude problem for what ever reason. if your doctors in your Medigo Clinic can not be professional, than they should not be working at all. my quebec taxes pay for services like that, i'm very disappointed in certain doctors in the Medigo Clinic. hopefully this review will motivate you to do some changes in you clinic for the better. because when i came in the clinic, even though i was very sick and feeling veryshitty, i still came in the clinic with a calm behavior and attitude and still showed a lot of respect to the staff and personal at your work. please don't take this personally, i did not say that all doctors in your Medigo Clinic have behaviour, attitude problems and conduct themselves unprofessionally, i just saying that Dr. Kathlyne Douaire has certain personal issues that she needs to correct with herself if she want to be a professional general practitioner. i did have great services with other doctors that was very patient and courteous with me. but with Dr. Kathlyne Douaire, it will never be the same. there is a saying, first impression is always the most important and that first impression from Dr. Kathlyne Douaire was not acceptable from me.

I am grateful for this place. It's just they're so unorganized and their receptionists are inexperienced. Almost to a point where i feel like I'm watching a sitcom. For example, I booked an appointment online, when i got there I was trying to scan my health card per instructions. The receptionist got mad and told me online bookings don't use the scanner, I have to see the receptionist instead. Fast forward to another day i booked online, the receptionist told me I HAD TO USE SCANNER FOR APPOINTMENT. Anyways, they once cancelled my appointment 20 min before I arrived because the doctor was overbooked. Again, very grateful. Just hope they stop hiring idiots.

I wanted to edit my review! After going to the clinic twice, once for my family doctor and once for a emergency visit with another family doctor (but not my own) I felt it was needed. I will write cons first: > Receptionists. While the family doctor area (floor 2) receptionists were kind, the (floor 3) ones were hardly even giving time of day to patients who came in. I was shocked at the service difference. Not only that, but they would turn away when patients in the room would go up and ask questions, saying things like "you just need to listen more" or "we can't help you" If you're a receptionist and can't help...then why are you even posted...? I don't understand. > Speakers. This again is a major issue, as the person over the speaker will either speak too softly, too loud, or not coherent enough to hear anything beyond your name. Again, this is also only said in french, where I believe it should be bilingual as you have both english and french patients at your clinic. Maybe make it automated based on numbers instead of names to make it less confusing? > Website and phone service. Again, all of the website and phone is french only. When you click english it works but as soon as you go into another menu (clicking 2-3-4) it goes right back to french only. I didn't even understand what the phone service was saying and then it hung up on me. I had to navigate everything myself online until I found the way to make emergency visits. It's very badly managed, and the way to book things online could also do with a overhaul. Pros: Onto my doctors, my family doctor is very kind, very friendly and very caring! I was surprised and how attentive they were throughout the visit, and how they listened to everything I was asking. They made appointments and followups right away and did check-ins through phone . As for the emergency visit I had, I was also very surprised! Firstly from the way the doctor called me on my cellphone after I could not find the office (speaker issues I was saying) and then how patient and attentive they were throughout the exam. Other: One of the main issues, which I know cannot be changed, is the location. While not horrible, it is right beside the main highway and right now there is so much construction you sometimes have to walk onto the road to bypass. I know it's not the clinic's fault, but I do want to bring up that if you are walking, make sure to take the path left from the hospital to avoid the main road.

Le service sur place est correct, la plupart du temps, mais cette gestion des rendez-vous en ligne est tout simplement horrible.

Just went to clinic to have copy of any old receipt because they forgot to fulfill the doctor notes in form that i have to send to the RAMQ. Michele secretary was giving me attitude.... i asked her if its my fault? And remind her that asking for copy of file is the law. Attitude + upset + angry...too much to take... ihold my calm. Took my copy....was leaving... then heard saying " callin de journee" .... those words arnt professional specialy in clinic environement... while leaving told her " ton calin doit rester au tirroir... tes patients nont pas besoin d entendre ces termes"... so thats terrible!....

My wife is left there still in excruciating pain. Not even a blood test or simple urine. The small male Asian doctor was in such a hurry to get back to chitchat with nurses it was stupid. She had to call him back in twice. He said make another appt. ????unreal.Her back was so sore. No meds or anything. Turns out pneumonia. This place looks like maybe it could have. DIsappointing.

Rendu à l'hopital, on m'a avisé que la requête en question n'avait pas été signée par le médecin, et qu'en fait il n'y avait même pas le nom du médecin dessus ! On m'a demandé d'appeller immédiatement à la clinique afin d'obtenir l'information manquante, sans quoi on ne me faisait pas ma prise de sang. J'ai tenté à maintes reprises de joindre la clinique (5 fois), et bien.. imaginez-vous donc qu'on ne répond pas aux appels à cette clinique ! Seulement une voix électronique vous parle, et ensuite, vous raccroche au visage. Je ne peux me plaindre des gens qui m'ont servi sur place : ils étaient tous très gentils. Par contre, l'erreur qui a été commise ce matin et le fait qu'il soit totalement impossible de parler à quelqu'un m'a énormément déçu. Je ne compte pas y retourner.

Its rare to see a 5 start for this clinic, but I have to give it to them. My experience was better than I had expected. From my online booking, to the walk-in 'virtual call', to my interaction with the receptionist when I called because I hadn't heard from the doctor, to the doctor finally calling and setting me up with the best general surgeon in Gatineau (Dr. Francois Houle), and everything else in-between. I was pleasantly surprised to only get courteous receptionist. I also called to book an appointment for my mother in-law and that also went well. Overall great experience, I only wish others would get the same as I did.

Been there for 2 visits in 6 months and I have experienced very poor service from doctor's and nurses. They seemed to have made up there mind before even examining me. The other reviews for this clinic do not paint a fair picture of the experience that you will receive here, in my experience. I have had nothing but good experiences with the doctors, nurses and administrative staff, both for regular appointments with my family doctor as well as emergency appointments. All of the staff at the clinic are incredibly friendly, professional and punctual. They are also bilingual, which I appreciate greatly. The clinic itself is modern and clean, with quite a bit of free parking, and I love the automated check in with scanning the health card. I also have noticed that appointments tend to run very much on time - I am always impressed that I do not have to spend forever waiting in the waiting room. It can take some time to get through to speak to someone over the phone, but I have never had to wait terribly long for someone to pick up. Online appointment making is easy if possible and the online interface is very cool. I am very satisfied with this clinic and feel fortunate to have such a great team all under one roof. This is a great example of healthcare done right.

I was happy when I first succeeded to get an appointment in this clinic (I don't have a family doctor). The clinic was clean, calm and I was soon visited by the doctor. The doctor prescribed me so many tests including urine and blood test which I did the next day. (I was pregnant and needed the results as soon as possible of course). After about one month they had not sent me any results despite me calling 3_4 times to follow up. They said they have not received them or not completed. Or if the doctor has not contacted you, it means everything is OK! Suddenly, someone called me and said that the doctor has prescribed me antibiotics because I have bacteria. I was shocked because I was not informed by the doctor and I couldn't understand the reason. However I managed to download the prescription and the date on it was for 25 days earlier!!!! It means 3 days after I did my tests. And they failed to inform me of this infection and the doctor's prescription! Unbelievable! It could have threatened the health of my baby! I'm really sorry for this clinic. I lost all my trust.

Great superclinic. Second time there today and same experience. In-and-out in less than 30 minutes for both appointments. Great Drs and staff. Well run and clean. Obtaining an appointment online is easy and only takes a few minutes. A welcomed improvement on our health system.

Heres what its like for me dealing with this clinic.: step 1 - I am notified by the pharmacy my prescription is expired step 2 - i try to take an appointment via the online booking system. THERE ARE NEVER ANY APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE . step 3 - I call Medigo to book an appointment and wait at least 30 mins on hold. step 4 -I eventually get a receptionist with poor attitude who is annoyed that i am calling in to book an appointment because their online booking system doesnt permit any. Step 5 - i get put on hold for another 10 mins step 6- i eventually get word back from the receptionist that i need to wake up at 5 am 2 weeks from now on a monday to go book an appointment in their system online and hope that there is one available.. step 7 - I advise the receptionist this is not soon enough because i need to renew my medications before 2 weeks from now. step 8 - they put me on hold AGAIN to check if my doctor accept fax prescriptions ( my doctor told me before she doesnt but somehow the clinic always says yes she does) step 9 - They come back and advise me that the pharmacist should fax them to let them know my prescription expired (which they had already done by that point-but they dont check this) and then say the pharmicist will fill my prescription out of good will . They then always tell me it is MY FAULT for not calling sooner.... but i always call once i am NOTIFIED. i dont understand why they do this to me when i depend on these medications for my mental and physical health Then i go to the pharmacy and talk to the pharmicist who is upset that he has to do this AGAIN. - Repeat until I speak with my doctor and they actually send in the proper prescription (which at this rate, has always had mistakes in it) I am so sick of this , people with mental health issues should not have to go through this to get the proper medication and BE BLAMED for the failure of Medigo's systems. this is the beginning of my journey of complaints. Worst place ever but stuck with this place till they give me another doctor. In 3 years with Clinique Medigo they given me 2 different doctors and none of them stick around. Back on waiting list for another year or 2. Very disappointed always changing appointment times. Every time I make an appointment its seems like there able to make 2 appointments out of it once on phone then send me to another Clinique even tho it has nothing to do with covid. Even for a foot problem what a joke. No wonder they can all afford vacations while were on lockdown.....

I wish I had read reviews before booking an appointment at this clinic. The medical care I received at the clinic was below minimum standards. Note the quality of the medical care I received is the only thing this rating is based on and if I could give zero star I would. Upon seeing me, the Dr had already made up its mind, hence the Dr did not conduct a proper physical exam, the Dr did not concern itself with previous medical history and the Dr reached a diagnosis that my case didn't require further medical care and was to resolve on its own. On top of that Dr was arrogant and condescending. Common sense and a feeling there was more to my state led me to consult another clinic the same day where in this case, a complete proper physical exam was administered, leading to an accurate diagnosis (wow only with observation of symptoms!), antibiotics to go with it and time to recuperate. Almost a week later I get a call from the Dr at this clinic asking how I am doing since the test ordered showed positive and, surprise surprise, I needed antibiotics. I kindly explained I went elsewhere where I got proper medical care. I've seen plenty of Docs in my humble lifetime, and with confidence I'll say such Dr shouldn't practice nor be in contact with patients. As it was mentioned in other reviews, seek better medical care elsewhere. And if like me you don't have a family Dr and don't have a choice and end up going there, my thoughts are with you! Rudest doctors around. Very disappointed with the way they treat these patients. I came in with an anxiety attack because my mom comes with me to most of my doctor appointments and due to COVID 19 she should and I respected that 100% just felt anxious. Was my first time there and last time there . The doctor began to ask me if I was on drugs when I was having an attack . Wasn’t not supportive she forcefully grabbed my arm and slammed my body against the wall while I was on the bed. She asked me what I did for living where I got my birth control from what grade of high school I dropped out in . And so many more inappropriate uncomfortable questions. EDIT: It really depends who sees you in the urgent appointment clinic. 28/07/2020, went in to see a Dr. Fouccroule. Since she said I had too many visits to the clinic, she refused to help me and sent me out in ten seconds. Got the impression she was judging me. I suppose I am “not allowed” to use this service. Just another example of extremely poor level of service given to people in Quebec (especially if they speak English; I’ve noticed differences in some cases if I only spoke in French). Gave me an appointment for 5:40pm today and just told me at 6:45pm an hour late that it is cancelled.

I just moved to quebec last year and I am on a wait list for a family doctor. Clinique Medigo, took me right away for an emergency appintment. I seen Dr.Hernandez. He is a very caring and compassinate doctor. He listens to you. He was able to help me right then! This week I needed another emerg appointment and was able to get one the same day! I seen Dr.Pare. She was very caring, listened to my concerns and referred me to the doctor I wanted immediately without any hesitations. The receptionists I dealt with both times were fluently biligual and were very polite. I am not sure why the rating on the clinic are so terrible. The staff and doctors here are amazing! I will always go back!

I have been a patient at the clinic for a year and a half now. I had to change 3 times my family doctor due to all the doctors changing place of work. The last family that I had (Dr. Michael) literally kicked me out of the clinic with no chance for me to see another doctor. I booked my first appointment with her as an emergency appointment (which she ended up prescribing the wrong medication for me...) and she told me during that appointment that she would like me to book a regular appointment in order to update my file because I was a new patient for her. I unfortunately missed that appointment because I had no email confirmation or no phone call to tell me that I was missing my appointment. I only noticed that I missed the appointment at the end of that week and went online to book another appointment. Unfortunately, the portal was showing me no appointments so I called the clinic and they told me because I missed my ''first'' appointment with her (which really was my second appointment), they would have to email her to ask if she would like to take me back. She of course replied that she wouldn't take me back and there is now no way for me to have another family doctor at that clinic. What is the most upsetting is the fact that I left my family doctor to go to this clinic and now I am left out with no where to go. I had to put back my name on the waitlist for family doctors in Quebec and the wait time is about 588 days. Please take my advise, and unless you ready do not have another choice, don't leave your doctor for this clinic. This clinic do not care about you personally and treat you like a number.
