I share the same thoughts as most of these low star reviews unfortunately. I’m a patient with this clinic and thought it was just me.. NOPE. Stay away Reception makes going here not worth it. They don’t do their job, bookings are always full to the point you have to book almost a month in advance (even before covid) they are extremely unhelpful it’s almost a joke! I can’t ever seem to get refills on my insulin (which I literally need for the rest of my life to live) i asked my doctor and was told we “don’t do that” .. what??! My endocrinologist was shocked and did it for me. This has resulted in me going to the walk in! Waiting on a referral to see someone else cause im sick of this place! The only good thing i have to say about this place is the nurse Amanda is wonderful and very supportive if you book well baby appointments.

Dr. Bains is the best family doctor we have ever had. We can get an appointment within a week or two (or less if something serious has been found). He actually cares, investigates, and follows up with his patients. The front desk staff have been wonderful, as well.

This clinic consistently runs on time and is extremely professional. Not only are the staff and doctors friendly and personable, but a considerable amount of time and attention is given during each and every visit, which makes patients feel welcome and comfortable. Thank-you for the amazing care that you’ve provided to my daughter and all of the information that you’ve passed onto me as a first time parent.

I am not one to leave poor reviews but maybe this could bring insight going forward.. Unfortunately for the practice there hasnt been a consistent doctor in the past couple years. Making it very tough to have a positive experience at this clinic. The service on front end reflects this, as staff having little to no bedside manner when consulting with clients on the receiving end. It's quite discomforting as the overall feeling is lack of care for public health. Making accessible resources is a major issue, especially during this time, as covid 19 measures continue. Visiting a doctors office in these times is a high risk area. From my personal experience, I suggest your location could adopt the mailing option for Doctors Notes/Documents for clients who are unable to visit your clinic due to COVID 19, health issues, and for the risk of your clients & staff.

Today we (myself and my 17 years old daughter) had a walk in appointment for her and one female doctor showed up ,we were very much upset upon her behavior ,she was rude while replying,moreover, she did not explain anything at all.a good doctor explains thing and deal with the patient with care and patience.she rushed us out as she is very busy and obviously did not listen us further,she is not a good doctor at all .

Horrible judgement treatment of my pregnant daughter. She waited 2 hours after her appointment to be seen. The staff were abrasive and judgmental because she is in a committed relationship but not married. Shame on you, wishing kama. Horrable experience for a young, new mother. Just glad am not the only one who has had a bad experience with this clinic. Rude receptionist, went to see dr Rostis almost a week ago and haven’t got my medication yet. I don’t recommend this clinic to anyone. I will do a walk in and have registered for another doctor. Looking around for recommendation.

They might be more helpful if they took the time to answer the occasional phone call. They seem to be uncoordinated and unconcerned about maintaining communication with patients.

I've had to go to this practice a few times now. I've never once had a good experience. The last time I called there, they hung up in my ear twice. - I was physically speaking to someone, they cut me off each time, then hung up in my ear.

The wait here was quite long, I was there an hour and fifteen minutes before I saw a doctor. However, it was worth the wait. The doctor (I think she said her name was Dr Hanna) was efficient, kind and asked really good questions to get to the bottom of what was wrong with me. The appointment lasted less than 5 minutes, but despite the number of people that were still waiting I didn't feel rushed. She gave me a prescription and answered all of the questions I had about the medication. I will definitly be returning here in the future. Next time, though, I'll make sure to bring somw good reading material. ;)

First ever written review; compelled to post a warning: 1) Patent-scheduled appointments typically begin (minimum) over 1 hour after the scheduled time, 2) The front desk staff are commonly unprofessional/impolite, & 3) Building cleanliness in waiting area is concerning. Overall, my experiences at this clinic leads me to confidently state that this is the worst practice I've come across in N.S. I would strongly recommend looking for a walk-in or signing-on to be a new patient elsewhere.

Waste my time and money. Not PROFESSIONAL staff and doctors. They did not test for me and did nothing and asked me pay 120 dollars in advance after waiting over one hour. They did not refund after all Ridiculous ! I will not recommend this place

I don’t recommend this clinic because of its terrible reception service, especially the manager Lisa is very rude, impatient and discriminates Asian as I felt.I missed the call of rescheduling appointment because of the reception made a mistake to book a wrong day, Lisa the manager said rudely, “ you didn’t hear the voice message, I never booked a wrong one. “ I mention but you did, that’s why you called me to reschedule. Then she said I will not listen to you anymore, you can go and come as the updated time. That was totally insane! Shame of her, she ruined all the good things of that clinic.

I appreciate Dr. Bains he is professional, honest and really matter-of-fact, understands the real concern behind what the patient is saying. He caught on my anxiety with my general health issues that I address that I know are there but not enough to be considered lifelong issue and stress just amplifies it, so he took care of that possibility as well and sent me in for bloodwork/sleep test etc. I had pleasant chats on the phone as well so far, from a very subjective personal experience.

Giving 2 stars because Dr. Bains is just amazing and he is a good solid family doctor. But sadly I can't recommend the clinic itself. They are impossible to get a hold of and when you do the front desk is usually rude. I had someone hang up on me once. They are usually booked so full that it's hard to get an appointment. They will only write prescriptions with no refills. I have learned to book 3 to 4 weeks in advance just to get mine or risk going without for awhile. I have had to get refills from walk-ins. Over all: Dr. Bains is good but the rest - not so much.
