My general practitioner, Dr. Adrienne Watson, is at the Mayflower Medical clinic. She is a fantastic doctor, very caring and thorough.
I have seen two other doctors at the clinic, when Dr. Watson was not available. They were both pleasant, competent and professional, so I expect if I were to work with them over time I would be happy with them (but I will never switch from Dr. Watson).
The clinic is quite well run. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait to get an appointment, but that is more about the doctor's patient load. Sometimes there's a wait in the waiting room, but just as often the appointment schedule is right on time. Their record-keeping is accurate.
In an ideal world they would have longer hours for answering the phone. My biggest hurdle in getting an appointment is being able to stop work so I can make a call during the hours when they are picking up. I know this is pretty common everywhere, just sayin'.
In an ideal world they would also have fewer signs on the wall warning people about the consequences of abusing their staff or missing appointments, etc. I guess these are necessary, but they create a bit of a negative atmosphere. Maybe they could also put up some positive signage thanking people for being on time or being nice....
Oh, and maybe they could fix up their bathroom a bit. Low on the priority list for a busy clinic, I know.
In spite of these small opportunities for improvement, I will keep going to Mayflower Medical as long as Dr. Watson is still there. It is impossible to overstate what a great doctor she is.
