We've had an amazing experience with this clinic, specifically Dr McHenry! Having a young child with allergies is scary and she was so great to help us through it. Today was a great day and our son passed the peanut challenge with no reaction.

Catherine Joudrey

Does not reply to GP inquiries despite multiple attempts to access information on file from prior testing. Did not contact patient despite adverse results from testing. Requested bloodwork that when done, was not followed up on with either results or instructions on how to move forward. Extremely poor communication in all respects.

Doctors great, receptionists rude as hell. Not friendly at all on the phone. One even questioned my request of not having a tasting test for my daughters allergy when I said I'd like to just rebook her regular testing instead. Not her position to protest my decisions. Phones take forever to be answered and when they are you are met with people that clearly hate their jobs.

Had a bad reaction to my covid vaccine, spent a little while getting tossed around for exemption and ended up here....didn't even get passed a phone call - felt like I was wasting her time and was told my coverage wasn't adequate enough (dal, military, and provincial) to cover the test so I'd like to know what they accept. Have to go to a regular clinic now and sit in qe2 emergency parking afterwards and hope that the vaccine doesn't trigger a worse reaction.

Dr. LaCuesta and staff made me feel very comfortable while testing me for what turned out to be a life-threatening acetaminophen allergy. I've always found the staff very friendly and Dr. LaCuesta has been very pleasant in all of my follow-ups. A referral from your physician is required to get an appointment here.

Awesome staff. Good toys in the waiting roon for the kids.

So far my experience is not great. The Doctors seem well and knowledgeable no question there. Staff and other reception are cold, unwelcoming, seem quite lost in the day to day runnings. I have had to update my information 3 times. This does not seem to get communicated throughout our charts. Phone lines are inconsistent, office is closed or phone lines state closed well after posted opening hours. Voicemail is turned off. Seems I am doing more communicating and follow up on my own, and I am in the same profession. Just not what I expect from a company that's lists itself as professional and experienced.

I will make a separate review for the doctor. I am rating the receptionist, I do not know her name as she is hiding behind the computer, the Flexi glass and all her stuff, doctor wants us to schedule after 6 months again I came out and waited, as there were no signs (i.e. lunch break, or be back at...) Then as I wait this is about 11 and I have waited 10 minutes, she came out and said, O, I am on my lunch break, I won't be back till 11:45 - she wouldn't take a few minutes of her precious time to confirm knowing that construction, traffic and parking are a great factors to consider in this location. I waited for a call as well as promised, she said she will schedule, did not receive any. Such a lousy service, undeserving for the great doctors who work there, they should change their support staff. Very rude!!! Rude!!

While we moved away and Dr. Rex is no longer my son's Dr. He is wonderful. Very patient, kind, and funny. He has a way to put everyone at ease. Very wonderful clinic!

For doctors - 5 stars. They are knowledgeable, provide the best care, friendly and compassionate. If your child has allergies or asthma, you MUST bring them here. For secretaries. 2 stars. They are extremely rude. The complete opposite attitudes of the medical professionals they work for. Many times when I visit them to book appointments, they roll their eyes and say "Well can't you get out a calendar?". Because I was working, I asked a family member (whom the office staff is very familiar with) to book an appointment. They were SO rude. Almost refusing to book because it wasn't me and shouted at my family member. Please hire new secretaries. They have been here at least 15 years now and we need to see secretaries that match the professionals: friendly, kind and compassionate. The worst secretaries I have ever witnessed.

I have tried calling for multiple days at various times through the day and have yet been able to get in contact with anyone. Not impressed. to add onto that i have been waiting three years for my testing.

Dr. Laucesta is wonderful and so kind when explaining anything. She is so knowledgeable about answering any questions, doctors get 5 stars! However, Receptionist’s are so rude and don’t seem to have any customer service when it comes to talking to patients in the office or over the phone. Had my first initial appointment at beginning of January 2020, for whatever reason my viles were delayed getting shipped (this was far before COVID shut everything down) and never heard anything from them for months because the front desk receptionist told me to only contact reve pharmacy about any questions related to shipment and payment for viles, so I was only in contact with them other than the one time I called the front desk which they gave me no answers just the number to call receipt pharmacy again. Then after months of hearing nothing I called the front desk and they were upset that I hadn’t called them earlier about this issue..... It’s now September and I’m just having my first shot. Also since my viles were shipped so long ago they will expire before I even get to use them up so I’ll have to pay out of pocket next time. First time writing a negative review ever but every time I call about the issue it gets brushed off and no one seems to try and do anything to make my experience better, other than rudely saying “that’s a question for the nurse you’ll have to ask her not me”.

Dr Rex was our sons doctor 10 yrs ago, alway gave the upmost care answered all question and we never felt rushed. Now our granddaughter is under his care an I must say ,I am so pleased to have him incharge of her health. The stuff always great you with a smile. One more thing ,he is aways on time. We have never waited no more the 5 mins past our appointment time.

I spoke with one of the doctors there today about getting tested for allergies. She asked me a series of questions and determined that what I have are food sensitivities and not allergies (I already knew this but my doctor thought it would be a good idea anyway and I agreed). She proceeded to talk down to me as if I didn't know the difference. She said she didnt see the sense in testing me as if I'm not have an anaflactic reaction, there is no need. So I brought up the point that when my son was little, he was tested, no questions asked. She was quit curt and sighed a lot saying "fine, I'll test you". I reminded her it was my righ to to ask for testing and she informed me it was her right to refuse. At this stage I found her so rude and condescending, that I told her I didnt appreciate her attitude or tone or bedside manner and that I will go elsewhere, and I hung up.

I feel as I'm finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you everyone who helped me today.
