We have the information of real people who buy the services and products of Family Focus Medical Clinics - Joseph Howe Drive (Doctor) in Halifax (Canada).
Nowadays this business receives a score of 2.1 over 5 and that rating is based on 108 reviews.
As you can see its rating is very weak, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the assessment is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are happy, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to set evaluations when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Doctor belongs to the category of Walk-in clinic.
I arrived about 10 minutes after a shift started for the walk-in clinic, and I was seen in a very short period of time. The clinic was not busy when I went. The receptionist was quick and friendly, I felt very welcome. The doctor was very friendly and nice, and I did not feel rushed. I was able to have my visit and obtain my perscription for my issue at the pharmacy right beside the clinic all within one hour.
Full turning away walk-in.
I hope there is an option of no star at all, I came here Sunday suffering from an infection, the doctor prescribed me an aggressive method of taking the prescription given, after 3 days, things got worst and infection spread all over and even affected some private parts. I had to go to a different walk-in today, thank god the other doctor gave me a more reasonable approach on taking the same medication + a cream to help my discomfort of itch and pain. I will never go back here again, at first I thought it was good that its quick to come in, wait and done for an hour, but with an awful RESULT. I shouldn't have came here in the first place! Better to go elsewhere than this clinic tbh. Saves you time.
This is the slowest walk in clinic ever! The receptionists take their good ole time. Be prepared to wait. Today the girl skipped over my number to register my son. Was not impressed.. super slow at getting patients in the room.
I've been in pain for two weeks because of a terribly sore throat. I can barely swallow. Today I realized it was tonsil stones after multiple Google searches. I found out you can attempt to remove them yourself but you should have a professional remove them. I tried to do it myself but I ended up making myself bleed. I decided I should pop into a doctor's office and get them delt with. It was supposed to be a quick procedure. After an extremely pleasent experience from the receptionist. After an hour or so of waiting (not bad for a walk in clinic in the later hours tbh) the doctor quickly checked me over, said I didn't have strep throat?? (Even though I TOLD him I had STONES) and told me he couldn't see any, so he thought I got them when I tried. He wrote me out a prescription for basically glorified salt water with some pain killer in it and left the room. He was super dismissive of me. I got home and tried to procedure myself again out of pure desperation AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW SEVERAL STONES STARTED OOZING OUT. I'm not good with this stuff. It made me very faint trying to remove them myself. I don't even know if I got all of them. I know felt myself swallow some. It was so. Disturbing. Now my throat is bleeding A LOT because I'm not a professional??? But I can feel the little bit of pressure is gone now that I got the ones out I could. I'm so upset at our healthcare. Its awesome they can cycle people quickly but at what cost?? I feel like he could have helped me in 5 minutes and saved me A LOT of grief. I wish I could post the picture of the stones I popped out. Receptionist lady, you are AWESOME though.
I think the people here are fantastic! I am really confused about people's negative posts and reviews. The staff and doctor are truly doing their best. They are patient, kind, fair, and very considerate from what I have seen. The doctor is working very, VERY hard to take care of each and every person, and the front desk staff is also taking care of each and every person that walks in. They deserve much better than a negative review. Thank you to Primacy! You all should be making much more than you are, I am sure of it!
What a TERRIBLE SERVICE! Last night we came at 8:40 with our 2 year old who is not feeling well. The clinic was completely empty except for the 2 receptionists sitting down. They never said a word to us until we asked if our little one could be seing. They RUDELY said just NO TIME. Any average check up never last more than 15 min and it was still 20 to closing with no patients in there. It is not the first time we faced rudeness and non professional service here but it was my only option at that time at night. Hope someone who cares and can change things here gets to see all the bad reviews and rating.
I am transgender, I need a weekly injection of Testosterone which I acquired LEGALLY through a legitimate endochronologist. Doctor was VERY rude to me when I went in for my injection. She asked me inappropriate questions and accused me of illegally acquiring my medicine. My vial of Testosterone has my legal name on it and comes from a legitimate pharmacy. Will not be returning ever, and will be spreading the word to avoid.
As the other complaints say, very rushed doctor. He didn't even sit down to see me. My health issue wasn't even examined, he gave me a paper for blood tests and then said to come see him after. When I called the clinic after my blood tests (3 weeks) they didn't even know where they were, they said they were not there abd would look and call me back, which no one ever did. Everytime I have visited this office the doctor has the same culture, even before covid. Unfortunately, there are only few clinics and I have been waiting for a doctor for over 6 years so this is one of my only options. Someone should do a checkup on this poorly run clinic.
Reception is ok although they didn't inform us waiting outside we needed to go in and get a number. My consultation was totally useless, after I explained loud and clear what I have been trying to do to solve my problem the doctor prescribed me exactly the same stuff I've been trying for 2 years now: over the counter medication. Literally exactly the same medication on a different brand. The doctor is an old guy that can barely talk properly, he just mumbles, I was all the time asking Huh? What? Can you repeat that please? I'm sure he didn't understand much of what I said either, he just understood some key words and prescribed what he always does to everyone. Avoid this place.
Disrespectful staff, her rudeness is up to the roof.
Book an appointment before you come here Dont wast your time waiting with ppl
Worst service EVER! Staff is rude and just generally do not care about patients or anybody that is there. DO NOT GO HERE! YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF diagnosing yourself!
You wait inline for an hour just to get inside the clinic. Then you wait for another hour for the doctor to come in. And this cost a $100 for a check up.
My first time at this walk in clinic and I was very impressed by the staff and the wait time was very short... the physician on call was very good and thorough..:)
Poor service
100 dollars just for obtain a paper who say " make a blood test elsewhere " WAOOOOO " Doctor " can't do anything, it is just here to writing some joke word on paper and that's it ....... hey are you a real doctor ??
Front desk girl is nice and friendly. Doctor is very rude. He didn't even sit down to talk to me. The whole process took about 3 min because he was rushing to have next patient. But literally there is only one person waiting in the lobby. He didnt care about your health,he just care about his doctor fee. Dont waste time here, no help at all. I am really ashamed of a doctor like him.
After trying to call them for 2 days straight...132 attempted called with no answer, I decide to drive down to get my test results .. 10 minutes before they close.kind you... I walked in and asked if they had them and she told me they shut everything down and I had to come back the next day.. the whole time I was was waiting to ask her she was on her phone with one of her kids ... Thanks for being lazy af, I know it's a busy clinic, but they have a job to do, to service people with medical needs, and they do not. Not my first negative experience with this clinic. DO NOT and I repeat .. DO NOT go here unless you're absolutely desperate and expect a bad experience.
The only positive was the nurse/receptionist. The doctor came in and lectured me for coming in for two things (sinus infection ongoing since January and antibiotics did not help and a sore back). Then she poked me quite hard where I told her I was having stabbing pains and when I yelped all she did was say "it will be fine" and then dismissed me. I saw another health care professional the day after who told me I have dislocated a rib. The doctor at family focus was more interested in holding onto her phone than helping me or taking me seriously. She was in the room for 2 min and 1 of those minutes was spent lecturing me about how busy she is. Not impressed.
Excellent!! I needed a tetanus shot and they were very nice and attentive. Highly recommended
I had one of the worst experience here. Great front desk staff. But Lethargic doctors. After 1 hr and 30 mins of waiting. I was asked to go into the doctor's room. And then waited there for another 20 min. Only for the doctor to come with a rude attitude and asked me to see a podiatrist in a near by clinic. ????
Went in to deal with pain-inducing ear congestion and was told to put oil in it. This is after I specifically requested getting them flushed, as I had requested. As someone who deals with ear-based ailments a lot, I go through all those basic steps before even attempting to get it dealt with professionally. The only reason I can give more than one star is because I was in and out quickly.
Do not come here for your medical concerns and inquiries. I went in to get referred for bloodwork and a specialist referral. The male doctor filled out my blood work papers wrong and neglected to make contact with me when my bloodwork results came back abnormal. I only discovered the abnormality over one month after he made the referral thanks to my specialist appointment. I know we are in a health care crisis but, as a doctor you have committed yourself to putting your patients first and informing them when their tests show red flags. Shame on you.
If there was an option to give no stars at all that would be my choice for this place! I called them more than 2 hours before their closing. I asked the lady who answered the phone what their cutoff time was to take in patients because I had a sick two-year-old on my hands and packing them up for nothing is quite something. The lady said that the cut off time was 8 and if I got in before 8 my daughter would get in, but that was not the case!! Her father got her there for 7:05 and was refused to be seen by a doctor because they said that they were now too busy. They have a closing time of 9 but what's the point of having a closing time if you're going to refuse patients well before closing! Inconsiderate staff and very confusing hours of operation!!! Do yourselves a favor and do not choose Famy Focus!
Doctor Rivas made sexual comments about me and asked me if I was a transsexual. Absolute joke of a doctor.
They have no system to see who has been waiting the longest and I got skipped by 3 people, very frustrating
Healthcare in NS is broken and many physicians rotate in and out of walk-ins so there's no point in 'reviewing' the long waits, the knowledge or empathy of the staff, or even the outcome of the visit. This clinic was clean, had a reasonable amount of seating, and is conveniently located inside a grocery store and next to a pharmacy (literally three steps away). They have signs now to take a number before you register however it would make more sense to have this near the front so there's no fight through the door. It would also be helpful to have signs outside the door that indicate there are shifts for the walk-ins (i.e. 10am-3pm and then 5pm-9pm). I would suggest a rule whereby seating is reserved for patients and not the three other family members who choose to stay with them (children excluded obviously) and don't even go inside the room with them. I liked how they had a radio playing to numb the silence but more reading material would have been nice (and not advertising pamphlets from pharmaceuticals).
Went there for a referal for my girlfriends blood to get checked and doctor refused and also when she informed the doctor she had fainted and hit her head and may have a concussion, doctor replyed with if u have had over 3 concussions u can have serious brain damage,my girl friend told her she has had 4 or 5 concussions and she came back with well arnt you an expert and told us thats theres nothing they can or will do for her blood and/or concussion and told us to leave
If the posted time says you're open, then you should be open.
Showed up 70 minutes before closing and all I needed was an ear unblocked. I was turned away when there was only 3 people in the waiting room. According to the girl at the front desk, even though their website boasts about coming to their walk in instead of the ER. They would not accept me as a walk in. Wish I could give zero stars. I'll never go back.
I just had to comment b/c i feel like a lot of people with complaints were expecting a back rub or a larger waiting room and a time long past when there weren't so many people in the world. Somehow the doctors and staff handle the stress and get through a large volume of people, generally the doctors are very nice and get you what you need. It is a crowded part of town, lots of people go there, there is only so much room in a grocery store. If you don't like to wait you can shop and take your chances with the timing but usually you can predict 25 minutes to mill about and return to get yourself registered and so on since you have a number. If there are people that think there isn't enough space in the waiting room, you're right, however you can go to another clinic, which i suspect is a fair distance away. There's not much one can do about it. The crux of my review is that i've had good experiences with the doctors. I state my case to the doctor in a way that respects their time and the other patients and i'm generally done in 5 minutes. Anything else is for a specialist, which they can get you a referral. I don't have a family doctor at the moment and they get me by, they keep me alive and very graciously hand out samples of this steroid inhaler i still need since quitting smoking. That's an extra step they take, that they didn't have to, and i'd otherwise have much more difficulty breathing. One must realize it's like a "war zone" where there are too many people and not enough doctors and that's just the way it is. The doctors i've met were very kind and patient and yet getting the job done. I don't see why clinics should get bad reviews in general, i've noticed crying babies that do get precedence and young people that should give up their chair for the older folks. It's a doctor. Count yourself lucky and take a number.
On Sunday the girl in the front desk told us in the phone it is going to be 30 min to see the doctor. After 5 min we arrived and she changed what she said and the waiting time became 45 min. That was ok since the difference is not that much. However, the reality was that we have waited for almost 2 hours!!! So, Escape from this clinic if you need a walkin clinic.
Very unorganized. The two women sat behind the desk didn't even open the window until 20 after 1 (when it clearly states 1 p.m. open time). It took them another hour to get me registered (I was 6th in line), THEN she tells me that the doctor should be here shortly. SHORTLY! He finally showed up over an hour late. Good lord. If you have the opportunity, go somewhere else.
A good walk in clinic in Fairview area. The staff is welcoming, though you may have to wait for long time. No prior bookings are accepted. They close earlier than their usual timing sometimes due to lack of doctors. And by the way, their entrance is inside Atlantic Super Store on the Joseph Howe Drive. You literally have to go inside the store store to find the entrance. One more thing good about this is, there is a pharmacy right in front of the clinic inside the Atlantic Super Store.
Speaking as someone with a family doctor at this clinic (aka not a walk-in patient), my experience has been positive. The receptionists and Dr. Wattle are friendly but still get right to the point, and the location is convenient. I docked one star because I waited over 30 minutes despite having an appointment, but that shouldn't be surprising to anyone especially considering the small staff and huge workload.
The family focus clinic on josphe howe is a joke, doctors there are very rushed never takes time to ask many question always seems to be wanting to head out the door.Dr.Hanna always why im here, when i say here cause got a call to go over blood work she seems agitated like ...why are u here!!! Seems very unprofessional.
I’ve been too the walk in multiple times for the same issue. Still nothing has been done about it and my issue is getting worse. I started forming a desease on my scalp called cutis verticis gyrata ( google it ). The doctor didn’t bat an eye. Only cared about an untlra sound report that wasn’t even related too my issue. The first time I went he told me my pain was subjective and I should take some tylenol. This time he told me it might be strep but probably isn’t anything, even though I spit up blood this morning. He doesn’t seem too take anyone very seriously. He also seemed pretty angry when he came in too start his shift. Over all a terrible experience and like I said still nothing is being done about my issue. Would not recommend this clinic.
We took our 2 year old girl to the clinic Thursday jan 31 evening and the dr saw her right away and said she had an ear infection .I told him she has a bad reaction to amoxicillin to give her something else.he wrote a prescription amoxicillin. This causes her to develop thrush ,she doesnt eat because her mouth tongue roof of mouth are covered in little ulcers ,very painful. Last time she lost 6 lbs.she only weighs 26 lbs to start.not a healthy way to be when sick.Talking to this doctor is like talking to a wall .why would any dr prescribe exactly what causes worsens a patient .,mist have stocks in the amoxicillin Factory. I also had a sore throat and asked him to check me .he looked and said no strepthroat 20seconds done.no prescriptions for me ...just as well it probably would have been the wrong one. When we got home i called 811.they recommended not giving her the amoxicillin and go to another clinic in the morning .to get a different prescription. One that won't make her worse. There was not one in yhe clinic that night ...maybe they all know he is incompetent.
I have been there myself and I have taken all 3 of my kids. It is a good clinic. Sometimes you do wait a little while but that is to be expected.
Dr. Rivas is RUDE and incompetent - don’t waste your time waiting to see him. Only giving one star because I can’t give zero. This clinic should be ashamed of themselves!!
My experience is everyone is pleasant and working hard within the constraints of protocols to provide excellent care. Yes there are wait times, there are wait times everywhere not just in Canada. Be thankful that in Canada we get excellent medical care on a triage system.
I am not well and I always say I feel sick and they do blood work and urinalysis. Then they say no call is a good call. So of course they don't call me and I still feel like I'm going to die... Excellent health care we have here in Nova Scotia. I have to move to save my life.
Went here to get my ear looked at. Waisted almost 2 hours and finally went in to see the doctor. He looked in both my ears and mumbled something and said I had an ear infection and to “get ready for surgery” and shooed me out the door. The appointment in his office was not even 30 seconds. Very very rude Indian doctor. Will never come back here again. Waste of my time.
I arrived early no waiting in an out
Doctors are great, however the front desk receptionists could learn a lesson or two on politeness. My wife and I arrived shortly after noon one day and when we approached the front desk, we were rudely ordered to take a seat by one receptionist, after 15 minutes of waiting another receptionist approached us asking us why we were waiting as the clinic closed at noon for lunch. My question is, why not tell us from the get go? What was the purpose of us waiting?
Incompotent doctors. Prescribed meds to my child without hardly looking. Missed the object lodged in his nose. Cause complications. You shouldnt be allowed to practise medicine in canada if you were not trained properly by OUR schools.
The Staff is Rude, the doctor does not care about your wellbeing and will just write anything you want and will charge you alot because they just care about their doctor fees. The doctor wrote one word on the doctor's prescription, didn't put a date on the note, nor signed it. The reception doesn't care either and is not very welcoming at all and will tell you it is the policy. Do not come here if you have an illness or want to be treated right. They should be ashamed for having their medical license and not putting it to good use.
Unfair staff …poor service
Shame that a lot of people leave such negative reviews... I think the staff and doctors in this VERY busy clinic do an amazing job. I am baffled this needs explaining but yes, you will likely have to wait for your turn. The wait time can vary but be prepared for an hour at the minimum. The people that complain about this are the same people clogging the ER with paper cuts and headaches. The staff are blunt, but friendly. Again, this is a VERY busy clinic that sees hundreds of people a day, 7 days a week. Don't expect the doctors to hold your hand and dry your tears. They are trying to maximize efficiency and your emotional issues are not their problem. I had Dr. Hannah and she was amazing. Very quick but explained everything and was helpful. Read the hours of operation, arrive WELL ahead of closing and you will get your turn. We live in a fantastic country where we can get health services FOR FREE. I am happy to wait my turn.
Was into the clinic for the first time with an infected tooth and swollen face. I was greeted by and extremely courteous receptionist. Was not a long wait and the Dr. was friendly, efficient and professional . I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic.
Not sure why there's a lot of negative feedbacks here. I went here as a walk-in patient while my doctor was on vacation. The reception ladies are friendly and work efficiently. Doctor Zita is patient, friendly and very professional. Thanks for all of your hard works. I have a great experience today.
Went to the clinic at about 330 on a Monday for my toddler son. Despite the fact that he was whining pretty loudly, the receptionist was efficient and understanding. We were lucky enough to not wait longer than a couple minutes, and saw Dr Savvopoulos. He was extremely friendly, patient, and was very clear about the diagnosis, and was good to check our insurance status before writing a prescription. Overall, we were impressed at the speed, efficiency, and courtesy of the staff and the doctor.
If you have anything beyond an infection or something needing antibiotics. They misdiagnosed a blood clot in my leg.
No , that’s not my real name . Reception is cold at best . I had three visits with two doctors . I was prescribed medication twice and twice they messed it up and the pharmacist caught it. Good luck .
the only thing that is good is the receptionist but the doctors are a jokeeee
I would give negative stars if I could! They advertise as being open until 9pm but that is a lie they go home early!! Please dont say you are open if you dont want to work!!
Fast walk in. The female dr was great. Didn't care for the male to much though
This clinics is not very good at all. Seems like the doctors only interested in helping the patents that he can charge a fee. I was rushed out of the room and not listened too because my appointment was free, also they completely ignore the phones here so you can never make an appointment. Very unhappy with it.
This is one of the best walk-in clinics I have gone to. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The wait time was extremely short. Thanks for taking the Hassel out of going to the clinic!
Doctors decide what they prescribe.. some will load my medications others try and change it or remove it lol
Terrible place
Honestly the girls at the front desk are so rude, I refuse to go here now.
Closed early. Nothing but bad experiences at this walk-in. Don't say you are going to be open all day when your not
Big Shout Out to all the staff at the Walk In Clinic today!! If it wasn't for their availability and for their open policy for walk ins from other clinics that are closed due to Covid I wouldn't have been seen so quickly today!! The alternative would have been hours and hours of waiting at an emergency room!! So a Big Thank You to all of you who are willing to work with the public during this time!! You are very much appreciated!!
Front desk staff was great. I'm not complaining about the 2 .5 hrs waiting to see the Dr. but it was a waste of my time. The Dr asked me 1 question, felt my abdomen and told me he wasn't doing a pelvic exam that I have endometriosis and need to learn to live with the pain. This was after I explained I've been experiencing pain like I never have before and it's been a week. He told me to go see my family dr.
The receptionist was very kind. The walk-in doctor however was the worst experience I have ever had. He walked in and spent the whole encounter with his hand on the doorknob as to rush me, I was direct and to the point and he still made me feel very rushed and anxious. When I asked him if he's in a rush he responded with "you're at a walk-in". Then he proceeded to talk to me about my private concern while he walked out through the hall causing the whole reception to hear my private matter. Most unprofessional doctor ever. After this I asked the reception for his business card and I asked for the managers card, to which she responded "he is the owner". His name is Mark Fletcher.
I showed up clearly having a mental breakdown. Said they weren't taking anymore patients which I understand it was 8pm. Asked of any other clinics that would still be open instead got a list of other clinics they had but she didn't know what hours they were open. Would never go here again. Receptionist was not interested in helping at all.
When your doctor is not around, you can rely on these experts.
Little unprofessional and unorganized, I went in for bloodwork as it's hard to get a family doctor in this province which is fine I am young and healthy. They told me they would only contact me if there was an issue with my results, which they did on Saturday and I spoke to them about 15 minutes before they closed . They said that the doctor wanted to discuss the results and I could come in at 11 AM Sunday. When I showed up Sunday at 1040 am there was a note saying that they wouldn't open until 1pm. So I left and came back at 1240pm to find out they opened their doors at 12 and there was 20 people ahead of me. Our medical system being overburdened and underfunded is understandable but some organization and communication could really go a long way.
Very pleased with this clinic. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating and Dr. Premsager is without a doubt the best physician I have ever had, very knowledgeable and caring.
Not a great place to go amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. I was denied care after waiting over an hour and a half in the waiting room to be checked in. I claimed I was there to get antibiotics as I am 99% sure I have strep throat. I was told "this doctor will not see you unless you have had a negative COVID test in the last 72 hours." I claimed I was double vaccinated, but that still was not enough. Thus, this doesn't make any sense because if I had a negative test, it takes less than 72 hours to be exposed so I could have been exposed after my test was negative. I feel like this place needs to check their facts, and also hire quicker receptionists as the current ones could care less about the patients waiting. Truly shameful.
Incompetent staff and rushed doctor. Do better, stop wasting our time.
My husband and I moved to halifax within past year and like many other people were unable to find a family physician. Prior to leaving my own province my family physician had given me some refills on my prescription to hopefully do me until I was able to get a family physician here. Unfortunately that didn’t happen so I was forced to go to a walk in clinic. The treatment that I received from the attending physician while there was to say the very least unacceptable. While the physician was writing my prescriptions I advised her that my prescription for my blood pressure pills needed an adjustment because my blood pressure continued to be elevated on the current dose. Even though I advised her of this the dosage was maintained with no explanation as to why they weren’t adjusted. The prescriptions that were written were written for inaccurate dosage even with the medication bottle provided with dosages on them. I had asked for a referral letter due to my elevated blood pressure and was advised in a very rude way that I had taken up to much and and more time would be WASTED on me to complete the form. I was given the signed form with a list of my medications and diagnosis but no name attached. I was advised to fax the form. It had no fax number on it but in bold print was clearly stated must be faxed by attending physician. I do understand about the time limits and the 1 problem visit however prescription refills are just that. If adjustments are required it should be done by the physician with the patient leaving the clinic in tears.
Brought my daughter here when she was very ill. Checked in at 11:30, told we wouldn’t be seen until 1:00. Came back at 1, was told the doctor “wasn’t in yet”. Waited another hour without a single patient being seen. After waiting a miserable two and a half hours (and no end in sight), we left.
My husband was denied care at this clinic because he's a truck driver. He's exempt from travel restrictions as he travels to New Brunswick for work weekly. I'd like to know how he's supposed to get his needed prescriptions refilled without being able to see a doctor!? I'd like to know how they'd feel if truck drivers stopped bring them the supplies they needed to operate. Ill never visit this clinic again! Discrimination at it's finest!
Dr Gerald Myatt, who should never have gotten his license back, is erratic, confused and stubborn. He's way past retirement but shows up because he has no life savings (google the court documents about him) and gets mad and impatient if you have more than one issue (look for Global News story about him). If you value your health, don't go there as long as this doctor is employed there. Avoid at all costs.
The staff is rude, not welcoming at all! I went at 8:40 (they close at 9), the clinic was empty, but both receptionist did not want to take my toddler that was not feeling well!
I called around 3pm to see how long the wait time was and the unfriendly receptionist stated she couldn't tell me. I confirmed they closed at 5. I travelled from Sackville to Halifax to be seen. I was in so much pain from breastfeeding and I just needed a prescription so that I could continue to feed my 10 days old baby that I had with me. I was turned away because they were full for that shift. I turned away bawling. Why couldn't she have said on the phone they were full? This practice is poorly run, has awful staff and are completely heartless and rude!!!!!!
Went to clinic because one of my ears was blocked with ear wax. Their website clearly states that any of their physicians can do an ear syringe (with a $20 fee). I also clearly stated that this was what I was there for when I signed in at the reception desk. I waited for an hour to see a doctor who claimed that she "doesn't do syringing". Why would they have me wait an hour for something that they knew they wouldn't be able to help with? Why is one of their doctors outright refusing to perform a service that their website clearly states they can do? I suspect they are more interested in forcing people through to cheat the government out of more billing, and are too lazy to do anything that involves more than 60 seconds of effort. Not the first time I've had a similar experience with this clinic. They are basically outright useless.
Was told when i checked in that i was looking at about half an hour wait.. An hour and a half later the doctor actually showed up, apparently he forgot he was supposed to be working. I sat in the waiting room for three and a half hours then when i finally got in to see the doctor with my complaint of a sore throat and coughing so much i would vomit he said "oh, your pregnant and throwing up" and gave me a prescription for morning sickness medication then left without even looking at my throat. Im 32 weeks pregnant and it turns out i have a throat infection.
What a waste of time! I agree with the complaints : they want you to keep coming back and are not interested in patient's concerns.Staff was nice but doctor was arrogant. Kept pushing me out without hearing me and my concerns in detail. The actual time of speaking with doctor was hardly 2 min. REALLY!!!
If I could give this clinic 0 stars I would, went here today cause they said they were open till 9 get there at 4 and there’s a sign on the door that says there closing at 4:30 go to the desk and the girl says we’re full and closing at 430. Almost every time I come here they say there closing early the doctors are usually no help at all. Don’t come here not worth it at all.
Dr. Arab got me exactly what I needed immediately, and she was able to not only secure a referral to a mental health clinic within six weeks (I was told it could take six months) but was able to direct me to the closest one. She agreed to follow up with me with regards to my medication as I had no family doctor. One of the most proactive clinics I have been to.
Disaster. Never go this walk in clinic Front two guys are so busy to talk They've started chitchatting filling up the whole room with VERY LOUD echo for two hours :) Then they keep patients waitting they never gonna end up it! Lol wanted to block my ears. AMAZING
I should have checked the reviews before even going because the way the Doctor there treated me was awful service. No compassion or care in the world from Doctor Hanna Adala. I went in because of a domestic violence situation I have been dealing with to get a doctors note for my work and she was heartless. Told me I would have to go see my family doctor that is 2 hours away and I have no vehicle. Explained my whole situation to her she did not give a care in the world if I loose my job over this. Never going back there again.
