I received a full size piece of mail today notifying me that the clinic has moved. I have never been to this Clinic and I've been living at my current address for over 3 years. When I called them they informed me they weren't taking any new clients. Why would you send this out to people if you're not taking new clients? What a waste of paper, time and resources.

Dr see old is a great doctor she is caring and will help on any way she can, but they never answer the phone and its impossible to make an appointment and of youre lucky and they finally answer the phone you have to make an appointment months in advance even then your always wondering did they cancel it with out me knowing ? I think she is great but needs to fix her business and hire good staff not people who don't understand what I want or need

Though not my family doctor, Dr. Dawood is friendly & caring. Most importantly, she's attentive & thorough. I have been there 3 or 4 times in the last couple of years and can say that besides the long waits I always leave comfortable with her care - for me and/or my daughter. She's my favorite choice for a walk-in. As far as her reception staff go - they're just trying to do their job, ppl. And they're busy. Be patient, you're never the only one they're helping.

I would suggest that rating bodies to allow us to rate less than ZERO !!.!! To go there, you need to know these upfront and EXPECT:- RUDE receptionist.... Defensive attitude ... Un-professionalism... You don't have any right.... If arguing, your healthcare will be compromised and delayed deliberately.... If you want to discuss /argue over the phone............ Dr Dawood is amazing, She always remembers me and works closely with me to help with my medical situation. Every other doctor would just throw pills at me and move on.. Not Dr Dawood, She cares! Also I love how if she is booked up for appointments, I can visit her threw the walk-in service.

I'm wondering what would you argue over the phone. The clinic is busy, true, but Dr. Dawood is amazing and she gives you all the time you need. The receptionist is just doing her job, you call, she lists you the openings, you pick one, what else is there to chat about?

Dr. Isis Dawood is the best family doctor I’ve had. She listens and genuinely care about her patients. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. That’s why I find it hard to absorb negative comments and unreasonable complaints. Some walk-in patients would make a scene and wouldn’t stop complaining for apparently waiting “too long”. First of all, it’s a walk-in clinic, and like any other clinics, it’s a given fact that you have to wait. Patients with appointments come first. Some people don’t understand this. A little consideration, understanding and most of all patience, it is what most people lack, (they need to have themselves checked for this too). If there’s a cure for being rude, impatient and less-mannered then, Yes, please add that to your “concern” list. As for my own personal experience, I truly appreciate the service that Dr. Dawood delivers as well as the staff.

She need to fire the receptionist lady she is aggressive and mistreating patients. I been trying to walk in to see the doctor since 4 month but no luck, two of my kids where in fever. Dr Dawood is a kind welcoming person but you can't see her with this receptionist lady. Please Dr Dawood fix this situation and fire that lady, I believe you agree with me that courtesy and hospitality is the most medication people need!

Waited over 2 hours to see a doctor after booking an appointment. Doctor was very nice, but staff was extremely rude during check in, I was completely ignored when I came in originally. “I’m busy” is the reply I got despite the clinic being nearly empty. Had to wait 10 minutes just to check in

I really don't understand why people are having so many negative experiences with Dr. Dawood and her staff. Dr. Dawood has been my doctor for a while now and dealing with her and her staff has always been easy. Have there been long wait times? Sometimes, but I've had much worse. Have I ever argued with her staff? No, because they're not doctors and can't be depended upon to determine my level of health. The woman is open 6 days a week, 2 days of which are walk-in days. So if you have a non-emergency medical condition, and it's going to take a few weeks to she her with an appointment, get up early and go to her walk-in. I've done it. If you have severe discomfort or you feel like your issue needs to be treated asap, go to the ER. That's what it's there for. They have a whole big hospital to deal with your needs there. Dr. Dawood has been patient with me and has gotten me though a lot in the past. She's the best doctor I've ever had honestly. Compared to living in Cape Breton were it's impossible to get a doctor, and ER wait times are up to 12 hours, Dr. Dawood is a dream.

Dr. Dawood has been my family doctor since my pregnancy with my oldest daughter. She is wonderful and always listens. It is very hard to get in to see her but that should be expected with a great physician. They always have more clients than you believe. So happy she is back in NS and will continue to see her when I or my children need to.

Dr. Isis Dawood is very nice and very professional, however, I disagree with the clinics policies. $5 to obtain a lab results/report that was forwarded to them from a blood collection lab! They said it's for printing but refused to email a copy or let me take pictures with my phone! She said that's forbidden!!!! Why is it forbidden? Is it because you'd like to charge $5 for something that costs you 5 cents?! I'm never going there again. Again, I have nothing against Dr. Isis Dawood just the policies of the clinic. P.S. Here are further issues I don't like with the clinic. * $20 dollars for the flu shot which is free at shoppers or lawtons or any walk-in clinic! * $60 dollars to get a letter saying that your wife is pregnant! Which is free at most walk-in clinics! * Cash only! I'd be happy to continue to see Dr. Isis if she goes to a clinic with better policies or if the clinic stops extorting people for money.

Totally agree with previous negative reviews , I'm just now refused from nurse on desk this clinic I come really emergency with high back spasms pain and they refused me because don't have appointment , very frustrated and disappointed she told me to I need to go in emergency hospital !!! No nice words for this crew denied me from the door and I really need help , damn !

Dr. Dawood is incredible. The most kind hearted and genuine person you could meet. I've known her as my doctor for the past 12 years. She takes the time to listen and address all of your concerns. Yes, maybe not the fanciest clinic setting and not a lot of seating in the waiting area, but SO worth it to be able to feel 100 percent comfortable in her presence.

I am actually shocked by some of the reviews I have read here. I have had nothing but a good experience at this clinic. Dr. Dawood has been mine and my boyfriends family doctor since we moved to Nova Scotia almost 3 years ago. Usually I only go once a year for girl check ups but the occasional time I have had to go in for other things. Is there a wait?... yes sometimes but Dr. Dawood is so caring and gives you 100% percent of her attention. She don't rush you in and out like other clinics. I have never felt rushed! Also I have never had a problem with the receptionist. She has always been polite to me. I work in a clinic setting myself and I know when a client is frustrated with other situations it's easy for them To take it out on the receptionist but that's not fair. And it is okay for her to stand up for herself if your getting mad at her for stuff that is out of her control. I would recommend this clinic/ doctor to anyone!!!!

A pathetic excuse of a medical center. I came in on a Saturday, to the walk in clinic for an appointment. It of course was full and there was a long wait which I expected. What I was not expecting was to have my wife and I ejected from the only available seats while waiting. There were two seats in the pharmacy which is connected to the waiting room. There was absolutely no one sitting in those seats and no one in the pharmacy. My wife and I were ejected from these seats and made to stand in the middle of the waiting room. Made to stand holding my new born for over an hour before abseat became available. Meanwhile there were two empty seats that never had a single person sit in them. I think that this is sad and petty. Making people stand directly beside two empty seats which no one is waiting for.

There's nothing wrong with this clinic. It's a busy practice and people just don't have the patience to wait and be treated like everyone else. Highly encourage anyone to go to this clinic but then again remember you're really taking advice from strangers on the Internet when you read yelp and Google reviews.

Went to see Dr. Dawood for the first time last night because I couldn't get in to see my family Dr. She was amazing and honestly the best doctor I've ever seen on a walk in basis. She made me feel better right away by how much she cared for my health. Would love to have her as my family Dr... The receptionist was very friendly and I highly recommend this clinic.

What's the point in operating a family medical and walk in when you're never there? I have called on numerous occasions to be seen by Isis Dawood as she is my family dr however I have to have my appt booked MONTHS in advance!! Not only that, I'm turned away from the walk in due to them being "too busy". Maybe they should think of hiring another dr or something because at this point, I've been trying to see her for the last 6 months and haven't been able to. Not to mention- she spends an awful lot of time away from the office.

I know Dr. Dawood is a good doctor but still her clinic has the worst service ever! they cancelled my appointment twice and once i tried to call them to re-book, they never pick up the phone!! what's the point of having a good doctor if i can never meet her!

The doctor is a very nice, but the receptionist is a crazy. Ex, my 3-year-old son and I waited 3 and a half hours in a waiting space with many flu patients due to a mistake in the receptionist .Also, my son's date of birth is wrong when I got a vaccination record.And When my son need for a letter to see a specialist, she mistakenly applied two specialists. Not only those, more more more.....I was a medical clerk (in a hospital) for 7 years, that's why I can't believe these situations. We usually go to other walk-in clinics. But there is no way to get vaccination records or some speciall need by going to a family doctor (my family doctor is Dawood). The receptionist when I first came to this clinic five years ago was wonderful. The reception became poor since the person quit four and a half years ago.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a medical appointment. If you want a doctor who cares about your well being and is willing to do their job (which includes paperwork) Dr. Hanna is not the doctor for you. She refused me as a patient because I had been in a car accident months ago and she did not want to have to do any paperwork (her words) related to it.

Dr Dawood is very nice and the family doctor of my wife and son. However the clinic constantly changes its hours to ridiculous times from only being open a few days a week to only one day a week (and with strange hours to boot). Contacting the office to begin prenatal appointments was painful as the phone would go straight to a machine stating they were closed when they were supposed to be open. After 2 weeks of trying to contact the office I finally got through and the assistant at first refused to allow us to ask for a referral to a prenatal clinic (they're not open currently to in person visits) until she could get an in person appointment a month down down the road.

Called the walk-in clinic during their working hours to make an appointment. My call went to a pre-recorded message, which stated that appointments were to be booked through the receptionist and then the message ended and I was disconnected. How does one contact the receptionist?? I called during their working hours. Poor service before you even get in the door.
