This is the 2nd time I have taken my 5 year old daughter here. She loves it! Today she went in all by herself as per her own request, and did great! She told me she wants to go back tomorrow. All the staff are very friendly and they do a great job, especially with the kids. I have seen them too and am very comfortable. I hate going to the dentist but they explain everything and make it a good experience.

Really disappointed with my Invisalign treatment, after a year I had to move away, went to another Invisalign provider in my new city to continue treatment, they told me I should never have had Invisalign. Came back and was told my an orthodontist in town that I should never have had Invisalign. I’m now $11k and three years into this and still another year to go. Refused a partial refund from South 40 because they “could have finished it” sure. Thanks for nothing.

I arrived early to my appointment, was greeted warmly and was able to get in earlier than scheduled. My hygienist explained everything in detail, so I was at ease (I get very nervous at the dentist, from a bad experience at another office). She out on a nature show to help settle me, and dialogued everything she was doing so I knew what was happening. Dr. Amir was very professional and introduced himself, explained my current tooth quality/plans for future care, and answered all of my questions. My hygienist booked me in for a future appointment, front desk went over every but of changes/insurance coverage (ended up paying like $8 for uncovered amounts)and I was done feeling well looked after and at ease :)

Dr. Greg and his assistant Kelsie were absolutely great. They walked me through everything and made sure I was absolutely comfortable and ready for the procedure. Which was a godsend with the sheer amount of anxiety and general FEAR I get from dentists. They were awesome. Seriously. I’d probably still be at home in pain if those two hadn’t have been my team working on my face. The whole process was obviously nerve wracking but they made it tolerable so much so that I will be rebooking for the rest of the work I need done not waiting to be in agony to do so.

South 40 Dental is the best dental clinic I've ever been to hands down. If you are nervous about dental appointments...go to this clinic...they are the beat! Not only are the staff polite and curious but they are also kind and caring. I have avoided going to the dentist after negative experiences at other GP dental clinics. If I had gone to South 40 Dental, that never would have happened. I am extremely grateful for amazing dentist and staff and all the ways they went over and above to make sure I was safe and comfortable anytime I was in their office. I'm going to start this off by saying, I've had some very traumatizing dental experiences in the past, but this was the absolute best appointment I've ever had in my life. They got me in extremely quickly too, which I appreciated. Especially since my tooth broke. They were patient and kind, and they met all my needs without judgment. It's not often I go to the dentist and don't cry, but that happened today. I was anxious, but they put me at ease, and most of all? THEY SAVED MY TOOTH! I'M SO GRATEFUL! An extra shout out to Marie (hopefully the correct spelling), because you made me laugh a ton, and you made me so comfortable. I'm sorry I can't remember the dentist's name already, but she was superb too (and of course the front desk folks, can't forget you!). And because of you all, I will actually go to the dentist now, lol. Thank you.

Had a good first experience with south 40 dental, the staff were all super nice and the dentist as well, my only complaint was that the laughing gas system didn’t feel strong enough, It kept wearing off seconds after I was dosed, but all in all was a great experience, I’m definitely bringing my business back to them to have all my work done

Amazing. I had no one to watch my 4 month old but the staff told me not to worry they would watch him. So the staff took turns watching him and they even brought him to see me throughout the checkup so I knew that he was ok. The hygienist was very thorough in her work and made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way. The dentist was very kind, answered all my questions and even said that my son could join me in my appt she his first tooth came in if I wanted it checked. If your looking for a dentist or just not happy with your current one go see South 40 Dentists! They are wonderful!

Today was my first CoVid outing. I was nervous (not about the dental work but because of going out) I didn't know what to expect but was immediately put at ease by the staff. Always friendly and professional, in general but they went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. Now I'm just waiting for the freezing to come out! Thank you South 40!

I recieved a phone call from a collection agency informing me that after 5 years I owe $79 for a one time exam/cleaning (I was absolutely unaware). I informed them that I paid my balance as required at the end of the treatment & they suggested I reach out to their client. I then contacted South 40 dental to discuss the situation. They informed me that my total that day was $590 to which I paid $118 after they deducted my benefits. Unbeknownst to me, my benefits didnt cover the 80% (so that left a balance for $79). I only went there once while attending GPRC & then moved back to Edmonton. Subsequently, they submitted this to a collection agency & it is now 5 years later...

After having a negative experience at another clinic in town, it was recommended to me to go to South40 for my dental emergency. The staff and dentist was amazing. He had already reviewed my xrays AND got a specialists opinion on them, after only 3-4 hours since I originally called. They got me booked in and he explained everything very thoroughly to me. Put my mind at ease and made me feel a lot better about the situation. Would highly recommend trying this place out. 10/10. Amazing experience.

South 40 Dental is my favourite dental place in GP! The front counter ladies are very sweet and nice. The dentists and dentists assistants are knowledgeable and take the time to explain every procedure so you know exactly what's going on. I've had a root canal done, cleanings, and also a couple wisdom teeth extractions and fillings. Everytime I've gone in has been extremely pleasant.

Lovely place, professional service and friendly staff. Only dental place that offers Netflix and has a comfortable environment. I like their service alerts to remind you of your appointments. They called me to come in early for my appointment which was great for me. Edit: Since I have a permanent wire on the mid posterior lower teeth which makes it difficult for me to brush and floss those areas. I have changed back to my childhood dentist during the second visit due to the fact that the hygienist who did my scaling didn't do the best job. Otherwise, this place has been great.

Best dentist in town! Willing to go above and beyond, and really use thier knowledge and professionalism to make you comfortable. For me that meant pulling an abscess tooth 15 minutes after calling in at 7:45pm on a Tuesday, they made sure to squeeze me in after hours and make my pain levels completely subside - and get the problem fully resolved. All that evening. Minimizing the time I needed off work - at a new job; and that is invaluable in this economy. Thankyou so much for your service!!!!

I've been going to this Dental Clinic since it opened. Front staff is great, friendly and helpful all the time. I have been so happy with the staff. I always have the same hygienist (Krystal), she is very friendly and gentle but very professional. Kind of nice to have the same hygienist every time I go there because I always know what to expect of the visit. Dr.Todd is best dentist I've had. Easy and comfortable communication with him during every visit. I would so recommend this office for all your dental needs. I really like that they book my app via texting!

I got a cleaning from Carli she was wonderful didn't hurt my gums at all while scaling, she was very good at explaining everything to me and also did the bacteria reduction with the laser in my mouth and my mouth has never felt so clean! Dr. Fraser did the exam he was very friendly and even shaved down one of my front teeth to match the other one right away! Todd also came in to explain to me about forever bright which is the teeth whitening program that they do there you only have to pay the 90$ fee once then every time you come in for a cleaning you get two free tubes of whitening! Overall I had a great experience and the receptionists do a great job at the front as well very friendly and helpful!

I've always had a good experience with South 40 Dental. All the staff are nice, friendly, and informative and they always do good work. I have always been impressed with them and never had any issues. This time I had my permanent retainer wire break and they managed to fit me in really quickly. They not only got the remnants of the wire out and my teeth scanned for a replacement, but also found time for an exam, a cleaning I was due for, and a filling. It was great they could take care of everything at once and I was surprised since they seemed busy (though not so much so that people were waiting long at all). I'm very thankful.

03/25/2021 - It has now been 24 hours since I went to South 40 to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and honestly, I eould recommend them to anyone. They were very gental (from ehat I can remember) and do their best to make sure you are relaced. As a bonus, I have yet to feel any pain, only tenderness even after sleeping off all the medication i was on. Definitley give 5/5 and a recommendation

My first visit was great. Everyone was very nice and even though it's clearly been awhile (thanks in part to fear and two back to back pregnancies and year long nursing stints) no one made me feel bad about the amount of work I need. They even got me in the next day to start. My next visit was for two extractions and it was great too. I watched a little bit of Avengers, and was in and out in less than an hour. It was so easy I said it was like a dream appointment. I will definitely be going back for the rest of the work I need and for future cleanings and maintenance.

I switched to South 40 since 2014. I am always treated with the utmost respect and the staff are always very friendly, fast & helpful, specially Ashley (the Admin lady) - who took time to look into my file, called my insurance provider and explained to me all the details I wanna know before my visit. And also, I have been requesting to see Bobbie since Chantelle moved back to Ontario. Bobbie cleaned my teeth & checked up few weeks ago. She went above and beyond my teeth look amazing and smooth. She makes me feel really comfortable that helps me to calm down and to be less jumpy during the procedure. She’s very gentle. Bobbie and my dentist are always friendly and take the time to ask if I have any concerns and answer all my questions. I would highly recommend South 40! really great place, as great as dentists are. staff was friendly and they didn’t annoyingly talk to you whilst they had their finger size in your mouth expected an answere that was kind of just an abnormal sound. they spoke to you about what would happen calmly so you knew what was up. was there for a cleaning and they asked if i had thought about braces and gave me a bit of a consultation on the spot.

I have experienced some shady appointments with dentists, they are all about money. Pushing products and services you don't need. I have grown up not liking going to the dentist. The visits have been painful and long and drawn out. After going to South 40 Dental, my mindset has completely changed. The staff, hygienists and dentists are very professional and very accommodating. Dr Todd has a great way of helping ease the stress and makes the visit actually enjoyable. It all starts from the moment you walk in their office, you are immediately greeted with smiling faces. You're made to feel welcome and at ease. You are then taken back to your room very quickly (I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes). Where you enjoy a nice relaxing massage on the chair you sit on. As you are having the work done you are able to watch Netflix to help the time pass quickly. Overall, Dr Todd has taken what used to be a dreaded encounter and turned it into something that no longer gets my blood pressure up. I now go to the dentist without the fear that I used to have in the past. I highly recommend Dr Todd McClenaghan and his Staff at South 40 Dental.

My first appointment in some time (OOPS) and with a new Dental clinic, I was happy to get a late afternoon appointment, I got in just before my scheduled time and with the Ladies having done my paperwork electronically prior to it was a seamless check in. Great experience, honest but friendly with my results. the truth is if you don't make regular check ups and keep those choppers chiselled its never going to be a walk in the park however they did a great job for my first visit and somewhat of a inspiration for the service industry in my opinion. I like the many reminders for us busy bodies and up to date tech! I called ahead of the me to ask if the hygienist used a water pick. I have a lot of wear on my teeth and recently had a terrible experience with a dentist. The receptionist listened to my concerns, and when she could not answer a specific question, she forwarded me to the hygienist. From there, the hygienist talked me through the process of cleaning and stated she would be the one to clean my teeth. Everyone was encouraging, thoughtful and considerate. I had 4/5 of my kidlets in for their regular check ups yesterday. They have always been so wonderful with my kids. My 5 year old is never more excited than when she gets to go to the dentist. It was my 4 year olds first time in the dentist chair and they were very comforting and always make sure not to push or pressure the kids. We may be moving in the next couple years and i told my husband today i may just have to make the 3 hour drive every 6 months! Personable. Professional and passionate. Thank you for making every visit such a pleasant experience.

i have been in Grande Prairie for over 25 years and have been to most dental firms. I am a high maintenance patient and require special care that I do not mind paying for. I have been berated and verbally mistreated by the dentist at Access Dental; overcharges numerous times by Lipon Dental; forced to deal with the manager at Bear Creek Dental regarding insurance costs - this one cost me a lot of money and i recommend not going there at all unless you want to pay far more than you need to. Finally a dental firm that gets it. Nothing but praise for the admin staff, dental staff and doctors/nurses on staff. Thank you.

My husband went here because his insurance was ending and a filling fell out. They fixed other cavities for him but when he said he didn’t want a crown because his insurance didn’t cover it they wouldn’t fix the tooth where the filling came out! Told him they would fix it when he was ready for the crown as well! Sent him on his way with a hole in his tooth instead of just filling it for him like he requested. He can’t eat on that side and its very sensitive. In my opinion this place is all about the $$ and not the client.

Amazing! I know everyone f***ing hates going to the dentist but the ladies and DR. Todd & DR. Fraser are amazing people. They actually listen when you tell them stuff like your not frozen or it still hurts and they have a sense of humour! They are extremely gentle with little ones as well. Very please with the crew here at south 40 and don't mind going back when I need to!

All the people here are very nice and always take your feelings into account. They are very careful not to hurt you and explain everything very well. I had 2 crowns done here today and they made them in-house. Although it was a 3.5 hour appointment I didn't have to wait 2 weeks for them. This is the best dentist I have ever been to.
