Amazing Doctor and staff!

I went into this clinic on April 14th due to a very concerning issue that had been getting worse over a couple of months. Doctor Gosso said he would send a referral to the surgeons office via fax that day after getting all the details and I left. Over the next couple months the issue got worse and I did not hear from the surgeons office yet so I called Idof medical clinic to follow up on the referral. I was told the fax was sent and to continue waiting as wait times have increased due to covid which I was very understanding of. After calling a third time last month I was given the surgeons direct number from the receptionist, upon calling the surgeon I was informed that when I left the doctors office a fax was sent to disregard the referral. I was very upset and called the doctors office back to ask why, in which Doctor Gosso said there was a miscommunication on the surgeons side and he would Re fax the referral. Two weeks has passed and the issue has gotten much worse. I called the surgeons office today to find out that doctor Gosso never did send the second fax to resubmit my referral and thankfully the surgeons decided to reopen it when they heard how upset I was two weeks ago. I am so extremely disappointed in the lack of care shown by the doctor regarding this. He also was supposed to have sent a referral for me to have an allergy test done last year which I am still awaiting a call as well. I was so excited to go to this clinic because of the amazing reviews but so sad to say it’s just another doctors office that doesn’t care.

the front reception staff are lovely to deal with, dr. akolo so far has been the only doctor in GP to have tried to properly diagnose my migraines with out trying to push pills or brushing off concerns, would highly recommend him to any one.

Went for a family consultation as we needed a new doctor. Was to meet with Dr. GOSO. had an appointment at 3:00 was told to arrive 15 minutes early and if we didn't show we were to be charged $50 fee. Arrived at 2:45. Waited for 45 minutes in the empty waiting room. Then was asked to move to a room with half my kids as the room wasn't big enough to see everyone at once. Waited another 15 minutes in the room and still was not seen by the doctor. Ended up walking out! Wasted over an hour of my time and left work early for the appointment. Definitely not the first impression you would want from a new doctor! Stay clear.

I love the nurses they are all great. Doctors are good as well but it is impossible to get them on the phone. Every time I try the line is busy or it goes to voicemail and I rarely get a call back in a timely manner
