Bear Creek Dental is our regular place to go for all dental work. After recently experiencing a dental emergency I am grateful that Bear Creek was my regular place to go! Dr. Palmer and his staff were fantastic! My son has some complicated dental issues and Dr. Carter there is wonderful. Actually all their staff there is great! I highly recommend.

My wife got a bunch of dental work done. The dentist took a 1/4 inch chunk out of the inside of her mouth with the drill. She could barely eat for a week. She paid, using benefits. Then randomly a month later we get a bill in the mail because allegedly the benefits didnt cover an extra $20, as if they couldn't see that before she left the office. 3 months later they threatened her with collections, so she paid it. A hack clinic , with poor reception.

I had a vaneer pop off and they put it back on.Came off the same night. Apperenly my benefits wouldn't cover a new tooth/vaneer, is what they told me and it would be $1400. Little did they know i can see all of my benefits and approvals on line! My benefits would have covered half! $700!! Soooo where was my other $700 going to go? I do not recommend these crooks.

In the past I've had 'okay' experiences at Bear Creek Dental. However, lately they have been very impressive! I had an absolutely wonderful hygienist and friendly dentist last time I was there. If you are looking for a dentist or if you have been there before, you should try these guys out again. Also, they're literally across the street from Tim Hortons on 100th St. - so that is central and an easy location to find. Oh yeah - they've done a good job with PPE and protections regarding Covid as well. I felt safe. Good job guys!

My kids and I have been going to Bear Creek Dental for countless years. We all love it here. I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is absolutely amazing. I HATED going to the dentist until I started coming here. They have sedation options as well as nitrous oxide (laughing gas) that will make any anxious person change how they feel about their dental visits...you will no longer hate or fear dental visits if you choose one of the options available. I would give more stars is possible and would recommend Bear Creek Dental to everyone.

Bear Creek Dental has been my dental provider for the past four years since moving to GP, and I’ve never had anything less than an extremely professional & pleasant experience. They run like a well-oiled machine & I recommend this office to everyone. My significant other has worse teeth than me, so has had plenty more work done than me, but it always goes well & he has no complaints. They offer reasonable payment plans & explain costs up-front for long-term repairs. Even in the COVID-19 age, they take every precaution necessary & explain things as they go.

The people when you walk in are so nice always smiling. I didn't have to wait long. There play room was cool with all the kids colouring pictures that they coloured while they wanted. Plus they have movies for kids when you are sitting in the chair while the dentist does the work on your teeth. Really happy I got myself and my daughter in thanks so much.

Had a great experience there with Dr. Cymbaluk. I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed and I was terrified. All of the staff there made me feel less anxious and they were very understanding. I was even given a fuzzy blanket for my procedure. 10/10 will be going back for all my dental work. The office is also very inviting. Its not all white and closed in like most dental offices. Very open and colourful. Still with lots of privacy.

Big time dental anxiety here. Big time. So, I called to book an appointment with my Dentist, who is out of town. Not cool. So I booked in with Dr. Chan, as my tooth pain was unbearable. Told him and his team I am a giant baby, and they did everything they could to make it as easy on me as they could! I left with a root canal, couple fillings, and a bunch of respect for Dr. Chan and his team. Thanks a lot guys, I slept great last night for the first time in a week!

The experience with the administration was less than desirable, I had emailed my credit card information for payment into the office , confirmed when they called in regards to the balance that I had sent in my credit card information, which they still did not process and then sent the bill to collections. When I showed that they had all the payment information all along I still didn't even receive an apology rather was told it was a miscommunication between the upstairs and downstairs administration.

I have never had good experience at the dentist, especially growing up. Every time since coming to Bear Creek Dental it has been pleasant...yes I said pleasant. Now I don’t dread cleanings or fillings (when needed). And I have to say, in all my years (I’m a little seasoned now, lol) yesterday was the first time during a cleaning it tickled....goes to show they are an amazing team! Highly, highly recommend to anyone—especially those who have had bad experiences elsewhere (may take a bit but you will become more relaxed and actually not get the knot in the pit of your stomach before an appointment!!!!!!)

Last December I had a toothache so I went to Bear Creek Dental. Date was December 19th 2019. I booked in for an emergency appointment because I woke up with pain and wanted to get it checked before they were closed for the holidays. I was extremely shocked when the dentist told me that my tooth was cracked and that I needed a root canal. I had never had so much of a cavity on that tooth but I never questioned them. The dentist told me that I had to be extremely careful while eating because the tooth could easily break in half and then they wouldn't be able to do a root canal to 'save it'. They could not get me in for my appointment until after the holidays and prescribed me two doses of antibiotics for the present infection. They told me that after the root canal my pain would subside. It made me feel very uneasy about waiting so long for my appointment so I called around to find where I could get in for an emergency root canal before the Holidays. Luckily I found a dental office to take me. This second dentist examined and told me that they could not find any cracked teeth in my mouth and did not feel comfortable drilling into a tooth they did not feel needed a root canal. I explained what Bear Creek said to me and that I was concerned about my tooth. This dentist went above and beyond getting the x-ray sent from Bear Creek while also repeating x-rays on their end. This dentist told me that there was no sign of infection in my gums whatsoever and that my tooth definitely was not cracked. They said there was no chance of this tooth breaking in half and that the toothache was most-likely caused by biting down too hard on something I previously ate which was effecting the nerve. I had to finish the antibiotics that I did not need because I had taken the first pill the night before! I was so skeptical after hearing two completely different stories that I didn't know where to go from there. One person is telling me I need a root canal and another is telling me that I'm perfectly fine. This caused me a great deal of anxiety. I decided to trust the second opinion while being cautious to not break my tooth in half. Now, almost a year later, I still have that tooth and it does not cause me any pain. The pain went away on it's own within a few weeks and the tooth certainly did not break in half. I went back to the second dentist a few months later just as a follow up which went well. Bear Creek was about to do a root canal on a perfectly healthy tooth and that does not sit well with me. I waited a very long time to write this because I did not feel right putting out a bad review before knowing 100% that I did not need this procedure. After time has passed I feel it is necessary for people to hear this story. I will not be returning to Bear Creek Dental.

Was told by another office I needed a root canal, but they couldn't get me in before my benefits rolled over. I booked with Bear Creek dental and was told I in fact did NOT need a root canal and had a filling redone and all pain left. Me and my teen just had a hygienist appt and it was the most gentle dentist appt we've ever had. Keep up the good work. If you have a fear of dentists, go to this office... The tv's on the chairs with Netflix definitely help too!

The Staff at Bear Creek dental are so friendly and welcoming. I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days of my call and Dr. Curtis Smith was able to save a tooth I had no hope of saving. I tend to clench my jaw which results in my jaw clicking when I open and close my mouth. This is incredibly painful and results in many headaches. Dr. Curtis Smith was able to correct this with restorative fillings, adjusting my bite. I have not had any jaw clicking since the work has been done! The knowledge and techniques of Dr. Curtis Smith are truly amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Curtis Smith and Bear Creek Dental.

Had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, the next day my face starting swelling and had severe pain so I called about it and they prescribed me pain killers and didn’t even think to check into it, which I think swelling and pain can be normal but they didn’t even care to look into it further. The next two days the swelling and pain got worse so I called the office again and they were closed on a day they were scheduled to be open, couldn’t even get a response on the emergency line so I went to another dentist office and half of my mouth was severely infected past the point of oral antibiotics which were never prescribed to me in the first place which the second dentist found odd. So I spent 4 days in and out of the hospital doing IV antibiotics which never helped so they had to do surgery which left me with a hole in the side of my face. So I’ve called bear creek 4 times now trying to discuss it with them and talk to Dr. Palmer about what happened and they keep giving me the run around saying that they’ll call me back and never do. Not to mention Dr.Palmer bragging about how fast he could pull all 4 of my wisdom teeth before starting the procedure, maybe if he would have took his time this could of been avoided so I wouldn’t recommend him or bear creek to anybody! Thinking lack of cleanliness/lack of attention and care caused this issue. It’s been 3 weeks now and I haven’t barely got ahold of a manager at bear creek let alone the dentist

Initially, I was happy with the service and the people, when I got the bill after I gave them weeks to make sure I was covered they throw it back in my face like it's my fault. This is why people don't go to dentists because A.)scared B). Getting stung with a bill that goes to collections. I would strongly recommend people to go somewhere else that has a billing team who fights for their customers and get the insurance companies to cough up the money for them or else you will be getting called by collectors who tack on a 50 dollar fee so they can make even more money off you in a terrible situation.

So, those that love Dr. Smith and the amazing work he does, he is now part of the Bear creek dental team (which was difficult to find out for his loyal clients), but my appointment yesterday was fantastic, and their team were very skilled which left me with a pain-free experience.
