Here we offer you all the feddbacks of real people like you who purchased the services and products of North Peace Primary Care Clinic (Doctor) in Fort Saint John (Canada).
To this day this firm receives a rating of 1.9 stars over 5 and this rating has been calculated on 25 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is quite insufficient, and it's based on a large number of scores, so we can think that the rating is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Doctor is included in the category of Doctor.
Terrible. The women at the front counter are often curt and impatient. The phone and appointment system is archaic (print outs still and no auto reminder service - its 2020). You can call all day long and never get an answer. Frequently, the voice recording will say the office is closed - when it is not. And unfortunately a lot of this is likely to being understaffed and underfunded.
Disgusting services …. Doctors ain't qualified enough to send request for simple ultrasound request to prenatal clinic. Don’t visit this place. It is full of mad people. From reception team to doctors just pretend to be professional but don’t work as per medical norms. They do not deserve to open a clinic which is not help patients but to torture them.
My first time visiting the clinic. Staff was super friendly. It might have been a slow morning time, but I was in and out in 15 minutes. Dr was very nice and helpful.
Terrible. Long wait to get an appointment with the family doctor.
2 months to get an appointment. when you go its like a drive through in and out shuffled like cattle. This practice is a money grab from our health care system. Don't count on getting a call for a referral they say there going to for you to a specialist either. You'll be dead before you get treated here.
Great
They fire you if you talk to PTs and make their appointment enjoyable. The office manager rudely grabbed an appointment card from my hand and told the PT to have a nice day and ignored his request while I was looking up his referral after he asked me to make sure it was sent. The DRS are unorganized and I had to follow up for one PTs prescription over 6x with one DR because the meds weren't correct. There was over prescribing. Staff were allowed to access medical records for themselves and give results over the phone when this isn't allowed.
By far the worst place to get proper care, I had a doctors appointment booked for 445 and of course it’s by phone. I waited till 5, if they can’t accommodate their patients at a timely manner why am I paying taxes ? What a waste of good tax payers money on this useless practitioner. Also took me over an hour to get through on their phone lines. Safe yourself the Grief people Dawson creek is much better then this..
The management in this facility is an absolute joke and needs to be fired. Patients confidentiality is not respected. I would highly recommend finding another clinic like the FSJ family practice where you are treated with respect.
Terrible service. You have to go in at 8am and wait for hours until you’re finally helped and then everything’s rushed and you don’t get their full attention. When I tried calling the clinic about test results the phone wasn’t answered at least 5 times throughout the day. When I finally go a hold of someone I mentioned this to let them know and they told me “oh yeah we know we were just busy with walk ins”..
My family doctor is here and she is absolutely wonderful. She is respectful and always willing to listen. No issues with referrals and appointments are always completed in a timely manner.
I have been reading the reviews and see that I am not alone in my frustration with the "care" offered at this clinic. I have had a brief discussion with Northern Health Group representatives, who suggest asking to speak to the manager, (lol) of the clinic... Not sure how to make that happen when you can't get past the receptionist if you do manage to get to speak to her. Although they (Northern Health) did tell me you can get results of lab tests online so for those of us forced into self diagnosis and the enlightening experience of self determined treatment options from the plethora online, there's that. Perhaps we could start an Facebook group with a doctor or two to employ a public forum in the forelorn hope of improvement for people who need better healthcare. After all we all pay into it equally, shouldn't we have equal access to proper care?
My family physician is here and all my family members attend this clinic . We have been treated with nothing but respect from the doctors and staff. They have always gone extra mile to ensure we get all necessary services despite the challenges with health care system especially in the NORTH. I read some of the write ups here and i decided to ask questions. This is the only clinic in town that sacrifices the first hour of their day to see some patients without family physicians in town. This is after their compulsory early morning visits to see their patients on admission in the hospital. This is overwhelming for them and they have stopped accepting new patients for a long time. When they stopped the walk in clinic last year, there was chaos in emergency room. If you are new to the community and go to any other clinic in town, they dont even take a look at you talk less of treating you. I THINK THESE GUYS HERE DESERVES NOTHING BUT KUDOS FROM THIS COMMUNITY. I HAVE WITNESSED THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE demanding to be seen at the same time a couple of times and it is just too much for the number of doctors in this clinic. These patients are from different parts of the country (for example those that just relocated or came to work briefly n this dynamic oil community). I was also told about some that were causing avoidable chaos because they were not ready to wait for their time . I understand that some doctors either retired or left the community from other clinics and emergency room recently and more are even planning to go. It is difficult recruiting and retaining doctors here. Interestingly, I read the reviews on the FSJ hospital/emergency room website (who also render open services to everybody) and it is exactly the same complaints even though it is a health institution owned by the government. We all have to think about solutions to shortage of doctors here. HOPEFULLY, Northern health can establish a walk in clinic for new comers in this community to relieve these guys. If patients have more options, life will be better for both patients and doctors. PLS bear with Canadian Health System especially in rural areas.
How they can be accepting new patients when they can't adequately service their existing patients is mind-boggling. Good luck trying to get an appointment in a timely manner. Almost impossible to get through to anyone on the phone.
I've had a few visits work related to this clinic. I didnt like that I had to show up early to gaurantee a spot. Regardless i ended up with a family doctor that i trust. I have been shown only respect from the front desk and any doctors i've delt with.
Lady at the front counter gave me the worst service I have ever had.
The receptionists are not very kind or helpful and you can barely get in for an appointment. They should stop accepting new patients when they can’t help the ones they have.
I have a very supportive and involved family doctor here who takes the time to listen to my concerns and offers meaningful, professional advice. The girls at the front are always pleasant and a couple of times they have been able to squeeze me in to see a doctor on very short notice. Yes I have had to wait 2 hours to get into the walk in clinic and typically it takes a month or so to book an appointment with my family doctor, but that is no fault of the doctors or the staff at the clinic. This is to be expected when we live in a fairly remote Northern community. It is difficult to entice and retain medical professionals in Fort St. John and we should be more understanding of that. Thank you to all the staff who have always been courteous and helpful to me!! I appreciate what you do, day in day out :)
Good luck you would have better chances with a holistic healer ????
The website is totally wrong!! There are no tickets or walk in and they don't open till 9a.m. When I brought this up to staff they were like...ohhh well!!
Garbage for no reason. I spent an hour and half to learn the following which should be available readily. It is not available on their website, not printed on their door and not available by the staff at the clinic until you ask them at least 3 times. Gates to the clinic open at 8:30, but if you want a same day appointment call at 9. If you show up you will be turned away. Masks are required. Not that is unexpected at this point, but sure be good to know before you get there. Same day appointments are only available per day. You can not get urgent but non-emergency care the next day. It is understandable that they are having issues due to everything going on, but there is no reason not to tell people how to handle the process. Printing this and putting it on the door would take 5 minutes.
I got nothing good to say about this clinic..it takes forever to get an appointment and if you do see a doctor they have no clue about anything. The nurse measured my child's head wrong and the doctor I had at that time freaked out telling me she has a big head and they needed to take more tests. Long story short there was nothing wrong with my baby. Another time when my child was sick I took her in to the walk-in clinic. This time I had a different doctor who made my child(who was 6 months old then) throw up by sticking the wooden thing to far in her throat, and then asking me if I'm "okay"! Uhm no I'm not okay with this . So yea I ended up switching doctors, since I know as much as a mom as some of these educated "doctors" do.
what the heck closed sat and sun when most of the town works 6 ten hour days. what a joke. thanks for taking care if our health.
