If all you need is a prescription then use Medeo app. Otherwise....the staff is friendly. Anyone expecting more from the Canadian health care system, living in a northern community, is bat**** crazy.

After on hold for an hour I finally went in and demanded the clinic see my son, socialized healthcare is a joke. It would be cheaper to just fly doctors in from vancouver, than put up with what we have here. Thanks for nothing.

Anthony Burke

Friendly staff, very helpful.

“The customer you have dialled is not available” for the past 45 minutes starting at 9 am on a Wednesday. This is the constant headache. If you are seriously ill you are screwed!! Doctors never stay at this clinic. When good ones leave we are imposed young know it all’s who treat us like we are uneducated slobs. They write SO MANY prescriptions. Can we say they are making money on the side from the pharmaceutical companies. They should learn it is their job to PROPERLY diagnose illness (which btw they are not doing because they are not willing to do proper testing) and to offer their OPINION of the best course of treatment based on scientific journals they have read. They are NOT God! They are DEFINITELY not always right, and they don’t offer a lot of empathy to those who are truly ill.

Just terrible

Terrible clinic. Phones don't get answered yet when you go in no phones are ringing and you don't see the staff talking on them but gossiping with one another. Yes they are friendly but waiting for hours just for a prescription or having to book an appointment months away when some medications are needed ASAP is just pathetic. Good luck getting in. Clean and friendly but VERY POOR doctors and help here.

horrible service

I have been waiting TWO WEEKS for a note for ICBC so they can continue to cover a portion of my Physiotherapy. "I'll get that ready for you as soon as I can." "I'll give you a call when she gets back to me." No call back, no message, nothing. Thank you so much for making an already stressful situation that much worse. I've never had such a bad experience with a doctor in my life, and I've been hospitalized twice.

I'd rate this 0 but it doesn't allow you to. There are multiple reasons that this place sucks, as does Northern Health and the general health "system" that we have here. It is incredibly difficult to reach these guys by phone and when you do get through they are rude and short. It doesn't matter how urgent your medical issue is; you get booked in more than a month later (even if you need time sensitive testing). If you're dying or near dying, you go to the emergency room and wait for hours. I'll just leave it at that.

The worst experience ever: I arrived at the clinic at 7:30 AM, picked up my namber, went home and came back at 8:30 AM. I was taken to a room and waited for about 45 minutes. I went out of the room and asked if there is a chance that I could be seen by a Dr. I was yelled at and directed to get back into the room and seat there. Out of frustration, I asked to speak with a manager. Speaking to a manager (Laura-refused to give last name) did not help either. She mentioned that the Dr. (Dr. Abbas) who is supposed to see me is at the Hospital and she is running late. I mentioned that I was second in line, people who came after me have been seen and left and demanded to be seen by the Dr. available at the clinic instead of having me wait for a Dr. who is not onsite. I was told that that is not how their "system" works, refused to have me seen by a Dr. and to my surprise ordered me to leave the clinic claiming that the Dr. refused to see me. So I was shown the door and forced out of the clinic! I have accessed the Canadian Health care system for a long time and have never experienced a service that hit rock bottom like this one. I myself am a public servant and was quite surprised by the "Northern way of Caring" that is being displayed at the clinic. I hope responsible authorities will overhaul the rotten structure of this clinic so that all patients will be able to receive the urgent care that they need. After reviewing residents online feedback, I can definitely say that their service rating is what they deserve and is the worst I have ever seen.

That doctor is medical mafia....doing business on people's health making their health worse then helping..dr.sakila is always in a hurry and does not accept nothing if a person wants to try something with natural remedies except medical mafia and the pharmacy mafia ...medical mafia helping each other out to worsen the health of people to get more money...you'll never get a hold of them except your family doctor when he refers to them

Got no respect after waiting 45 minutes. Just wanted to talk to a nurse about some issues. Got told "no" within 30 seconds, then she proceeded to ask me what for, with all her co workers within ear shot. Personally feel like there is no confidentiality. (This was only at the front desk, never did end up seeing a nurse, drove to dawson creek and got treated like an actual human, I will never go back)

I was contacted by the government asking for proof or residence. Overwhelmed, I contacted the FSJ medical clinic... and I couldn’t be happier! Lina was fantastic! She helped me with everything thoughouly, all with a cheerful attitude. Couldn’t have went better. Thank you Lina!

Darryl

Literally a disgrace to the field of medicine and cant believe I pay taxes for this kind of a mess.

Ben Dawson

Consistent with the Canadian medical system standard of care hence the one star.

I came by for 2 visits expecting to meet with doctors. Instead, I encountered two know-it-alls. A problem is not solved when one simply draws a conclusion.

Kevin Barredo

I still haven't been able to get a hold of anyone during working hours. They are always busy. Even when I was standing in line at the clinic, no phone was ringing and no receptionist was on the phone, their lines were still busy.

Lori Johnson

The clinic opens for walk in at 9, but they open the first set of doors at 8. At 7:45, I, along with 15 other people (the sick, elderly, and a mother with an infant) found ourselves waiting outside in sub zero temperatures so that we could have a reasonable chance at getting to see a doctor that day. This is the only clinic in town that is accepting patients. Booked appointments are often filled a full month in advance, and they won't book any further ahead. I'm sure the clinic itself is doing what it can, but this is a healthcare crisis

Cisco James

0 stars if possible, would try and fix myself before I used this clinic.
