My 5 year old saw Dr. Sonam for a filing. It was his first time getting any dental work other then check ups and cleaning. She was amazing with him, very patient and kind, made him feel very comfortable with everything that was going to happen and talked to him through everything. Highly recommend her. Her assistant was great too as were everyone else in the office. This is a great clinic, they all make you feel comfortable and welcome every visit!

Dr. Sonam was amazing with my young daughter. She had an absess & we were brought In the next day. She was kind, caring, patient, thorough & understanding. She followed up that evening by phone. We felt very taken care of & are really pleased with her. I won't be bringing my daughter anywhere else! Thank you ????

Had an awesome experience on 2 separate occasions. My 7 year old is terrified of the dentist. Not only did they explain everything to him, but they were patient and he actually let them do everything they needed to. Staff was friendly and professional. I love the new dental hygienist, very friendly and answered every dumb question I had.

Great to deal with! we phoned Dr. Sam Gayed himself after hours over the weekend when our daughter had a figure skating incident , he was more than happy and passionate to help. He offered to see us even when the clinic was supposed to be closed, we were out of town but he still guided us in what to do. My husband also had his molar root canal done with him and had a great experience . Its good to have some genuine and talented professionals in town and not only money hungry ones!

We will definitely continue driving 4.5 hours to see Dr. David Yuen and the staff at FSJ Dental. Not only is the staff amazing, but the office is also open some Saturdays which is very convenient for us to drive down from Fort Nelson.

I will start this review on a positive note by saying that the receptionists and hygienists are very personable and efficient,also the clinic doesn't bill much over the BC dental guidelines however when it comes to the dentists themselves,they leave much to be desired. The only one I liked is now practicing in Victoria,she actually talked me OUT of doing a procedure! Thats right,an honest dentist,almost fell out of my chair on hearing that,lol. My next one was this Sam Gayed people are raving about - I on the other hand found him very arrogant,argumentative and pushy on trying to sell procedures that I refused to do,let me tell you I wasn't sorry to see him go. The most recent,David Young, is not much better,rude and abrupt when I turn down his sales pitch but not as aggressive. They are also having trouble re booking follow ups because of a hygienist shortage. I would still recommend this clinic as long as you are prepared to stand your ground with the dentists and get outside second opinions on proposed procedures.
