I came in to ask the doctor to check me as I am feeling sick and that I have been discharging tremendous amount of mucus. As I enter the room and talked to the doctor about my problem. With out checking my chest and checking my temperature, he told me that I am fine and that I should wait it out for another couple of days and I should be fine. Even if I told him that I have sore Joints, catching my breath, sore chest from coughing. Now I can see there were only 2 patients in there and thats including me. Now have shivers and 38.9 degreecelcius of fever. Never coming back here again.

This places states that it is a walk in clinic but almost every time I have come here to see a doctors it's either the clinic is closed or it's appointment only. ???? DONT SAY YOU ARE A WALK IN WHEN THE WALK IN IS ALMOST NEVER OPEN!!! I'm going to a walk in clinic because of the fact that there are no appointment because if I'm going to to the doctor I need to see a doctor asap not next week or in a day or 2. I understand that covid has changed a lot but I'm still a human with normal human problems that need to be delt with. Even when I have been able to see a doctor it's been very rushed and not at all understanding or wanting to help me. Very unhappy with my service I have received here!

I recently had to change GP and I'm glad that I made the right choice picking Quadra Village medical clinic. I met with Dr. Turcotte. She was quite attentive and polite. I don't mind the wait at all, as I understand most clinics get busy. I was looking for a doctor who is able to help and listen to my concerns. I'm glad to have found one. It's great that the clinic is right across the street from where I live.

Mon-fri 10-4 is only 6hrs during the week.Since I work mon-fri I am unable to make any of those days.I am not sure on the demand for alternate hours but I suggest a 9am opening or a sat opening.It is in a prime location but I fear that due to the hours of operation it is limiting its usefulness.Id love to give 5 stars but since it is impossible to visit,I cannot.Is there anyone else that would want alternate hours?

Very rude reception and excessive wait times. The main receptionist was being extremely harsh to the (apparently) newer receptionist, who appeared to be in training. This attitude permeated into the waiting area and made for an unpleasant experience. I waited 2 hours to see a Dr. At which point, I inquired about the status of my wait time and was informed that they had added another person to the queue ahead of me, even though I had been there before them. So I just left and will never go back again. This was a huge waste of time.

Still waiting to talk to a doctor but the staffs here are definitely not willing to help at all. i described the symptoms to the staff while she was taking my appointment and when she heard i had this back pain for more than 2 months, she literally said "wow". ok i didn't think much but then i called back the second time to confirm if the doctor will call me today or tmr. the staff named Kate didn't hear clearly what i wanted to ask, instead of kindly asking me to repeat, she said "what are you trying to say"? .... hope you are happy when you treat your patient like that

Terrible experience. Don't advise you to go to this clinic at all. I was lied at and charged extra for something I asked about the price on two different days. ???? I had an appointment through the phone and asked twice about the doctor note’s price. Once before appointment and also right before I gave my credit card info over the phone to them. I was told twice that I will be charged 35$ but they used my credit card info and charged me 50$. When I called back and asked them they said it was miscommunication and we wont do refund!!! Don’t trust them, you wont know what they would do with ur credit card info ????

really negative experience here. the doctor was dismissive, told me to use Google during the appointment rather than communicating with me, and then in the end after almost an hour of waiting, she didn’t even do the procedure I needed done. I had made a point to specify the reason of my visit on the phone when making the appointment, but then the doctor I see says “well that’s not how we do it in England.” um.. excuse me? we’re not in England tho... !!! BUT THAT’S NOT THE WORST PART. CAUTION!!! as I was waiting in the reception area, someone was asked to take a urine sample. when they came out, they were confused as there was already an unlabeled sample in there. the receptionists were SO confused and were audibly asking each other “do you know who’s urine that would be??” YIKES. so unprofessional. avoid at all costs.

This one star is for the front desk reception! I went in there because i am pregnant but i am experiencing some situation and I cant find a maternity doctor will take me at the moment, so i had no choice to find a walk in clinic and hope to get some answers, one of the docs(the older man) came out at 330pm today(June 19th) and told the reception he's done of the day , don't get him any more patient. But there were a few more patients still waiting outside, at the time i was just hoping that I am ok and i can get to see the doctor and get some help. UNFORTUNATELY! I got sent into the office with this doctor who doesn't want more patients for the day, and he was less helpful and useful than GOOGLE, he basically asked me whats going on with me and after i explained, he said you might be miscarrying, and he looked at me and told me he can do nothing at the moment. And then , i asked what about the result when i just check in to the clinic? they made me do a pregnancy test, he was surprised and said oh ok, and called the front desk but no one answered him , so he asked can you go out and ask them whats the result? I was like sure , got up and got to the front desk in 3 seconds( yes it is that FAR) and the nurse came in and said , yes the result is positive she's pregnant and i did type it into the note on the computer, its right there( she pointed at the screen). and the doc said oh ok, so yeah u are pregnant. And i was so worry and asked him what exactly is going on, he just said well i dont know, u can be pregnant at this moment but not anymore later! and send me off my way home. HOW CRUEL!!!! this is not his kid, so he doesn't care, no bother to refer me to get some exam done or anything... ( he gave me a number but its never anyone there to answer the phone call ) I expect at least to be cared a little when i am actually still pregnant and he just simply guessing what might it be without trying to figure out whats going on! SHAME on you! At least he charged me 70 dollars! please PRAY for my unborn child will be safe and sound and come to this world peacefully upon this medical system!

Walked inside and waited about 5 minutes before someone even looked in my direction, just had a question.. Didn't get to ask the question... noone spoke a word to me acting like I wasn't there. They helped the other two gentlemen just fine... probably couldnt see my black skin standing there not there fault . Disgusted

TL:DR - If you're going to go there, don't believe wait times or people ahead of you. Inaccurate wait times (both in measurement of hours and people in line). Reception seems to notify that there's less people ahead of others and/or the wait time is always around an hour, never longer than an hour and a half. For myself, I checked in with three people ahead of myself. After 6 people went in, I asked the receptionist how many people were still ahead of me. She responded three. I told her this was the same as I was told when I checked in, and that the wait time then was an hour but I had been waiting an hour and a half. She said she was unaware of this as she just started her shift. During my wait, everyone who came in was told different numbers of people ahead of them that was inconsistent with basic math, and the wait time was always an hour or and hour and a half. One lady who had been waiting for 4 hours turned out to have never been recorded. I averaged that most patients took about 20 minutes, but according to their estimates this was around 7 minutes.

The doctor kept interrupting me, telling me my diagnosed sensory disorder and athsma were invalid for a doctors note. Hung up after being ignored and belittled. Do not go here.

This clinic lies to Medi Map to get people to come in, it states the wait is shorter than it really is. The app told me "0 minute wait time" when I walked in and a woman told me she had been waiting 40 minutes along with the other 5 people sitting there. The app was only updated 6 minutes ago. So I complained and then they updated the app properly to 40 minute wait time. There is also a sign that states they won't fill basic prescriptions like sleep aides. .

Apparently closed today (nov 12th). Door to the clinic was unlocked but all lights are off. Voicemail says closed, internet says open. What a ****show. Our doctor is competent but this place is completely mismanaged.

I had a very unpleasant (I might even call it discriminatory) experience on April 4th. When I arrived I was told the waiting time is between 45 mins and 1 hour and this location doesn’t take any advanced bookings for appointments. People that came after me were served before me - not just one but at least 10 people. I waited exactly 2 hours and every time I asked about my turn the receptionist told me that I was the next. However, she continued letting other people in that had clearly arrived after me. I felt that because I am not a white Canadian born citizen that I was treated differently. There was also an elderly Native American woman waiting when I arrived to the clinic and she was still waiting after I was served. It was a very frustrating experience for both of us as we waited wondering why others were admitted earlier with little explanation. I have already filed a complaint with Vancouver Island Health Authority.

Went in to renew a prescription and was told the Doctor only took 15 walks in and anyone else wanting service (at a Walk-In Clinic) needed to have the one site doctor has a family doctor and needed an appointment. Has someone who does not have a family doctor I rely on Walk-In clinics to accept walk-ins so that I can get the medical care I need.

The day I visited the clinic it was fairly busy and reception seemed overwhelmed. I saw a doctor who quickly recommended x-rays for my back injury. I was told I would get my results the next day since I was visiting and not in Victoria for long. A day passed and I heard nothing, so I called both the imaging centre and the clinic. Reception told me they had not received results yet. I called the imaging centre where they told me they had sent the results the very next morning as promised. I called reception again, and this time they told me that they had actually received them, but not processed them yet. I'm unsure about this distinction, but they told me that no news is good news and the doctor would get back to me if anything was wrong. They were rude and unpleasant, cutting me off without allowing me to receive all the information I needed. A couple weeks later I returned home, my back still hurting and got some new x-rays. It turns out I had a fracture that had somehow been missed by the doctor, or somehow not appeared on the x-rays. Sometimes, things do get missed and its nobodies fault, however based on how I was treated and spoken to and the fact that I was not properly diagnosed or cared for I would not recommend this clinic. They seem very busy and perhaps not fully equipped to attend to everything as fully as they should.

Horrible experience. Did a phone appointment with hopes the doctor would see my in person, as it absolutely warranted something that needed to be examined in person. Doctor refused and basically stated "it could be anything, and ya.. you should get that checked out. Go to urgent care". I advocated again to be seen that day... The docor absolutely refused and basically told me to get care else where. So unless you enjoy feeling unheard, and want to leave the appointment crying.. do not even try going here.

Dr Behroozi and Dr Hunter are the expert and the best. A new doctor in practice, Dr Turcotte is a great listerner and is really doing her job well. I really like these three Doctors. But waiting time is the worst, usually 1 hour and i even waited a maximum of 3 hours and could see new walk in patients who were called in before me. I gave 4 stars because of the 3 doctors, but not with the reception service.

TERRIBLE! I have been there twice in the last couple years and both times the doctor was dismissive and didn’t give me any help or advice. I rolled my ankle and hurt my knee a week ago and haven’t been able to function properly or work so I went for help. I never thought I had broken any bones and after waiting twice the amount of time I was told I would wait I got to see the doctor who didn’t examine me and told me to go get an X-ray. When I told him I didn’t think I broke any bones and that it was my tendons he told me the X-rays would show that. So I go spend more time getting X-rays and today I call to follow up and the receptionist tells me I haven’t broken anything. WELL WOOPDEE DOOO I already knew that. I asked her if the doctor would be giving anymore incite on how I should be taking care of myself and if the X-ray will show my tendons and she said I would have to follow up. The receptionist could care less if I received help or the fact that I spent hours yesterday trying to receive it. Have you all forgotten what your job is? This walk in should be completely restaffed

All the doctors we have seen there have had a plethora of experiences, are compassionate and great with kids. All of them have been correct with their diagnoses, mindful of my needs and been clear with their communication regarding follow-up requirements. Their paperwork also always gets to my family doctor Wait time is unpredictable but they are worth it. Also, the pharmacy is right there, so it's a one-stop shop. Coffee shop around the corner if you have a long wait.

Do not access this clinic for mental health concerns. My partner had a severe mental health issue with a letter from a psychologist explaining his diagnosis and recommending that he speak to a physician about treatment. He has difficulty accessing the medical system due to anxiety so this was a big step for him. We were waiting all day for a doctor to get in touch with us. The whole appointment took less than five minutes. The doctor said the area was not her specialty. She said she didn't know who to refer him to and that, basically, she wouldn't do anything about it at all. She didn't ask him about his history or check in with him. She also didn't give him any suggestions or refer him to a psychiatrist or prescribe him any medication. There was no follow up. The appointment ended.

Dr. Wahid has correctly diagnosed a couple health issues that other doctors misidentified, and always clearly communicates the rationale for a given treatment plan, and takes the time to answer any follow-up questions I have. I have no experience with any other doctors here. My only real complaint is that the timeframe for phone appointments tends to be vague/imprecise unless you clearly communicate your schedule constraints.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I thought that upon moving to this neighbourhood over a year ago it would be an added bonus that there was a walk in clinic here as well. I was wrong. Out of the five times Ive attempted to see a doctor Ive managed to get in just once. There is always a shortage of doctors or the doctor has to run to a different clinic. They don't update their hours or waiting times properly either. Sometimes you can be there around 9:30 a.m. and they are already at capacity for the day. I guess Ill go burden the ER. As well the one time I actually did manage to get in and see someone I remember a young man came in and was speaking to the receptionist. When asked what he was there for he said a "personal issue." She kept pushing him and saying she needed to know or he couldn't get in. So in front of a room of about nine of us who were waiting the poor guy needed to announce that he was having issues with STIs. This was really not professional and nobody should be forced to announce their medical issues to a room full of strangers.

I went in to the Quadra Medical Clinic an hour before it closed. I had extreme rashes on the eyelids, upper lip and scratchy. It got worse with time. Initially, I was told that they were closing and could not fit any more patients even though I was an hour early and only had 2 other people waiting for the doctor. Eventually, the receptionist was able to fit me in and I appreciated it. The one star review comes from the doctor, Dr. M Saleh. He diagnosed me with simply "acne". I am not a doctor, but red rashes on the eyelids that gets worse with time doesn't lean towards acne. I expressed my concerns that it does not make sense and if he considered dermatitis or eczema. He waved my concerns telling me "don't take [the medication] if you don't think it will help". I decided to trust him because what credibility did I have in compared to a doctor. I bought and took the prescribed medication to help with the "acne" and I was in extreme pain from burning sensations every time I applied the cream for a couple of days. I decided to go to get a second opinion from a doctor elsewhere because the rashes was just getting worse and I was in more pain than ever. I went to another doctor and they said that it is "absolutely not acne". They diagnosed me with medication to help with dermatitis and my eyes are now slowly recovering. TLDR : Dr. M Saleh completely misdiagnosed me leading me to further pain and paying unnecessary medical bills for medication I did not need.

I respect doctors who want to care for people and im sure these people want to but I dont trust these doctors. I called once telling them my symptoms and the doctor told me 'ok, what do you want me to do?' If someone comes in looking for help what do you think they want? It stunned me... her diagnosis wasn't correct either. She labeled me with ezcema and she didn't even know anything about ezcema. I had a suggestion on what it might be caused by and she said no and that it just happens randomly for no reason.... not very professional. The cream she prescribed me, she didn't tell me anything about and the cream is supposed to only be used for less than a week for temporary relief. Nothing to fix my problem. I would trust to go there for small things but don't go there if you are experiencing something serious.

I had a very poor experience with a very unprofessional doctor here last year. One doctor at this clinic prescribed an increasing dose of medication that seemed to be working. Upon return, I had to see a different doctor because the one I had been seeing wasn't on-duty for the day. The new doctor was flabbergasted that I was on so much medication, and asked me point blank "do you really need to be on this?" Before denying me a prescription without a lab test for my heart. The lab test is fine. His attitude was not. He made me feel like a hypochondriac. A faker that wasn't really needing help. Nevermind the immense willpower it took me to finally go for help in the first place. It was a humiliating experience. Isn't it *your* job to tell me what I should be doing for treatment? I never went back, and haven't seen a doctor since for my issues. I don't trust them and I won't go through that humiliation again.

I used to love this clinic but it has really changed. My family doctor quit and they didn't inform me she had left the practice. I didn't find out till I went in to get my prescriptions at the pharmacy and they told me all of mine were now invalid because my Dr. was no longer practicing in Canada. They promised a new family doctor at their practice who would take all of the previous Doctor's patients but never got one. I work most days and by the time I get to the clinic I am told there is no more room. I can't make an appointment because I no longer have a family doctor there, and I can't phone in and ask for prescription renewal for the medication I need to manage my chronic illness, even though the clinic has been my primary medical office for over a year. If I had other options I would take them but since they keep promising my family doctor will be replaced, and it is SO difficult to find a family doctor in Victoria, I feel like I have to stay.
