I waited 6 months for this appointment. Dr Hamilton was such a disappointment. She rattled off basically saying I have run of the mill eczema (not worth her time I guess) and blew off my questions. I'm old enough to not tolerate this kind of BS so I told her I had waited a long time for this appointment and I have questions. She then racially profiled me ( I have dark skin but I am almost all white heritage) She said people with dark skin and come from other countries (which I am not) have it through hereditary ( which no one in my family has it) she did not want to hear this. She didn't even glance at the medications my doctor prescribed. Then she said to ask her assistants my questions. They were wonderful and understood my frustrations. I will now have to ask my doctor for a new referral. My appointment lasted maybe 4 minutes. She better be right about her diagnosis.

The Doctor was professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and the office well organized. Greater Victoria needs more general practitioners, yes, but also, more dermatologists like this Doctor. Such a relief to finally have a diagnosis & treatment underway.

The doctor is fine, but they use an automated booking system that called with a different time than what is my appointment card. It only gives the option to confirm or cancel.

Terrible experience with this dermatologist, initial consultation she perceived me with a half dozen treatments but didn't even properly access the issue did not do any follow up consultation to discuss what effects the percribed treatment had. Didn't take any time to listen to my experience and dismissed everything thing I tried to explain. I initially needed an emergency biopsy and that was done at her office she never called me back for months and I left several messages with no response to provide me with the results I had to get my family dr to request the results.. still haven't heard back from her office and it's been over 6 months and now had to find a new dermatologist.

I waited a long time to finally get an appointment with her, but she took a brief look and was in a rush to get out. I had a few follow up questions but felt that she was getting impatient. My problems are not resolved.

I had a very bad experience seeing Dr. Hamilton. Very unprofessional and not thorough at all! She came win late with her cell phone while she was on hold and stood about 5 ft away from me to check two spots on my face. Because of how far away she was she mistakend an old eye brow piercing for one of the spots and seemed too busy to talk about it. I left feeling like I had completely waisted my time and will go to see someone else.

Dr. Hamilton is shockingly rude. She stood there smirking and rolling her eyes when I tried to explain what was wrong and what previous medications I had been prescribed. The appointment lasted about 3 minutes, and she stood halfway out the door for most of that time, clearly annoyed. I have no better idea of what the issue is now than I did 4 months ago when I scheduled the appointment. We rely on doctors to help us with pain. Patients come in vulnerable, scared, and hopeful. It is upsetting to see someone just so flippant and careless about her role in other people's wellbeing.

I had a really negative experience with Dr. Hamilton - they were unprofessional and rude in our interaction, which lasted all of 2 minutes. They did not perform an examination and simply said nothing can be done, and while I was mid explanation of my symptoms, opened the door and started to leave the room. There was no medical chart or questions about my health. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a dr - cannot stress enough how harmful this lack of care is for patients who have waited months for appointments.

Very unprofessional..a doctor?? who doesnt have a heart to patients need.With the pandemic still on going she drop us off and told me find someone else and not waste her time.Apologizes for the shortcomings of ours.But she did not accept any of that instead.Told me even how to handle my kids.Extremely rude to communicate.I recommend her secretary who handled my anxiety of the situation well versed and assuring.Im a health care professional myself but i never make my patients feel other than my own.The dedication to promote health and well being that we promised as professionals i guess is not her top of mind.With these uncertain times what we all need is hope not rejection.Be kind and remember that everything will come back to you.

I read other reviews for Dr Tatyana Hamilton..that I found online and I considered cancelling my referred appointment, although I had waited 8 months so thought I would see for myself. I am glad I went- she was fantastic! Listened to all my concerns and gave me multiple options even referred me to a pharmacy that she felt were best at compounding my prescription! Gave me 4 free samples. I was treated professionally and one of my procedures was done in her office by her wonderful nurse Sarah..same day! It is a busy office and I was running late and I was still received promptly ..Ty to Dr Hamilton, Sarah and Cynthia! So many are quick to be negative..life happens. Kindness and understanding go a long way! 5 ????

The staff was knowledgeable and efficient. I was made to feel comfortable for my procedure and all my questions were answered. Sarah, the nurse in particular was amazing!!! She was very accommodating when I made a mistake concerning the medication required for my injection. She is very kind and extremely good at her job!! I will definitely be back.
