I've just had my telephone consultation with Dr Izadi and I am very frustrated and disappointed by the lack of interest he took in my medical problems. I rarely contact the doctor and with the challenges in getting an appointment I had 3 related issues that needed attention, one of which was simply a repeat prescription request. We were on the phone for just over 3 minutes, I've been prescribed an antibiotic after 2 questions regarding my condition, with no explanation of what it is or how to use it. Dr Izadi then refused to discuss my other related problem or answer any questions, stating that he is only allowed to deal with 2 issues, informing me that he is very busy, is working until 9pm and then promptly hanging up the phone on me! I am incredulous that this is what passes for good patient care, I have a long-standing problem and my additional issues are potential signs and symptoms that my health may be suffering and the doctor was in such a rush to get me off the phone that he did not connect those dots.

My family doc operates out of the clinic and both myself and my family have been going there for several years. I have never had a negative experience. I should say that healthcare is not a "service" organization like a restaurant or a hotel, it is a publicly funded and regulated service that we all pay for. Sometimes there is a peak in demand and the system gets overloaded, as do the nurses, admin staff and Doctors. We all need to be patient during these times. And if you want to do something about it, call your MLA and get involved at the Government level. If you are doing phone in appointments only, why does your clinic not have a hold system on its phone. Don’t make people call Back over and over until they get lucky enough to get in. There should be a queue system for people who call.

I was going to complain about the wait time, which was 1 hour. However, after talking with the doctor I learned that they are suffering too. For example, at first talking with the doctor I was angry that I had to wait so long for something as simple as getting my ears flushed. The doctor then had to deal with my bad attitude and also my clogged ear. And I was only one doctor working so he probably had to deal with many more angry people. I wish I could offer a possible solution, but I guess waiting for a doctor isn't so bad for me. But some people can't wait as long as I did.

I was here 2wks ago for the first time after a fall and saw Dr. Bax. The admin staff and Dr. Bax were great, even near the end of the day after seeing patients all day I was treated as though I was the first patient of the day. Thanks Burnside clinic.

I would never recommend this clinic. All the doctors are rude and unfriendly. None of them seem to listen or even seem to care about their patients. I had the worst pap smear of my life at this clinic about 4 years ago. The only reason I go back occasionally is because of the hours. The ONLY good thing about this clinic - hours! They are usually open until 9 pm. The receptionist tried to charge me $70 for the doctor to do ONE pre surgical medical assessment form yesterday. I left and the uptown clinic charged me $35.

Now this was an experience, my family dr Jenkins retired due to medical reasons since this we have locom after locom. One of the locoms decided to take the practice on then decided to not shame as she was excellent and super good. So now I'm having to go to the walk in clinic. So I go for 7am when it opens at 7:30. So after sitting there for an hour I get my turn with Dr. Sears she tells me my symptoms are not that of a sinus infection. Which they are as I've had one before however she then proceeds to give me some steroid spray rather then antibiotics that's fine as it's her descion. I hope it helps. I then request my prescriptions to be filled as clearly I have no one else to do so. She then throws a fit at me as I didn't know the exact % of the stevia cream and I said I think it should be on my chart as I've been on it for over 2 years. She then yells at me saying I should be more organized and that I can't expect her to know what I'm taking. And that she can't do this much and that I'm abusing my appointment. I told her well I have no choice to come to a walk in clinic and that all my prescriptions are on my profile. She refuses to write me anything further and tells me to have the pharmacy fax it to her. I replied I had the pharmacy fax it 2 times last week and I was told I had to come in. She then says she doesn't have time for this, and that people like me make Dr.s feel rushed and pressured to keep their time. I said people like me? She walked out of the room and I followed and explained I pay my MSP and don't have a dr and this is my only option. Unreal, she was rude, yelled at me and had no idea what she was doing as she was so flustered. Awful Dr made me feel horrible about myself.

The worst walk in clinic ever. I was at the clinic for a walk-in. The receptionist suggested 1.5 hrs wait time. After 2 hrs, when asked the receptionist about wait timeThe answer was not sure may be 30 mins more. Then also suggested me to come after 2 hours. No professionalism. Also got the feeling as an outsider not welcomed. It's not the doctors but the receptionist. Please be human and treat everyone equal. Would also like to add on to it. It took almost 5 .5 hrs to see the doctor. SERIOUSLY... I mean 1 to 2 hrs wait is logical. After that, when went in, the doctor was like 'be quick I don't have time'.( barely looked at my face). Horrible and how inhuman. I wish I could file a complaint against this and for wasting my time. I had to check my report that's why I waited, as I didn't wanted to come back as waste my another day. So I had cancelled my tonight's work.

There really needs to be a way to make an appointment. Most people in the Victoria area do not have family physicians, but the walk-in clinic system is supposed to divert people from the ER. There is a gap with people who need to access a physician, and need to be able to make an appointment. I can recommend Jane App or Acuity Scheduling - they cost very little per month and allow patients to book themselves into the next available appointment. I don't want to compete with people who need to be seen immediately, that's a poor way to manage patient flow. I want to be able to make an appointment - I don't care if I need to make it a month ahead of time - and be able to know how much time I need to take off work to access a doctor. I'm sure there are plenty of people who need access to an in-person visit, but who don't need to compete with the people who need immediate care, like those needing antibiotics etc. Minor health & maintenance issues can and should be given an appointment, and would greatly reduce the burden on the front desk staff, and take pressure off the phones. I don't know what I'm supposed to do? I also work nights, so lining up at 0730 when the walk-in opens is the equivalent of lining up at 3 am for me. Yes family practice is completely broken in Victoria, but this is just a systems issue. There are multiple ways to make this work better for the population walk-ins are having to serve.

We brought my toddler in after a night of crying/vomiting/refusing food and drink thinking he had a virus, maybe a sore throat. The doctor realized that it was much more serious and sent us to emergency where my son was later life-flighted to Vancouver for emergency surgery. He literally saved my sons life.

Very poor experience. Unable to book a walk in appointment online whatsoever--all Doctors were indefinitely booked apparently. Called and there is no option to leave a voicemail. When I called back, the line was busy. Poor ability to access the essential service--difficulty asking for any accommodation when you cannot get ahold of anyone. Poor experience.

Called at 0730 this morning, no call from the doc until 1500. Told this AM I would be called mid-late morning. 'cant do anything, you need to be seen in person". Fair, however within these last 8 hours waiting I probably could have been in and out of emerg or waiting at a different clinic . Not possible to go in today now due to childcare logistics. Would I sit there for another 5 hours? If I had got the call within the time frame given I also could have made the trip in for assessment to the clinic itself. Not impressed at all, complete waste of my day in a fairly desparate situation with lots of recent details, tests and assessments. I am a Nurse & this shouldn't be how it is for -anyone-.

This clinic is routinely unable to staff itself during its "hours of operation, due to staffing shortages" and on some days, it doesn't even open. Instead of posting excellent hours with a little disclaimer that they may close early due to shortages... they could consider listing hours they can commit to. With 1-star ratings clearly dominating the feedback for this clinic... I see a trend of unhappy customers.

The front staff were nice - no complaint there. The doctor was bad enough to warrant a formal complaint to the regulatory body in BC. I visited the clinic today for two reasons: to get a throat swab for strep and a note from the doctor. Long story short, when I told him I worked for government he went on a long sexist rant about his experience in a union environment when he was younger and how the women had terrible work ethic, called in sick all the time because of their periods, and would smoke in the bathroom for hours instead of working (aside from being sexist, also completely irrelevant as my visit had nothing to do with my period , it was for a sore throat. I do not smoke, and I do not intend to take time off work due to my symptoms unless they worsten significantly). Overall there was a tone of disgust and a lot of negative comments about women and unions. He made it clear he didn't believe me, wouldn't make eye contact, and kept interrupting when I tried to explain my work ethic is not an issue and I was not looking to get time off work. The only reason I requested a note from him was to confirm my symptoms so my job duties could be adjusted accordingly (aka more time spent on paperwork, less on phones until it clears up). I returned to work immediately after the appointment. The whole interaction was disrespectful and his attitude toward women is unacceptable especially from a medical professional in this day and age. I don't recall his name but he was an older Irish man. My appointment was at 130 today and he was the only doctor there. I will find out his name because unfortunately I will have to escalate this matter.

I hobbled my way there to get my leg checked out had to wait about an hour but I came in late afternoon, luckily i had my own knee brace cause all the doctor did was prescribe me tylenol and gave me a sheet for an x-ray, what he forgot to tell me that im suppose to give that sheet to the front desk or downstairs im not sure, never told me so now when i call back asking about this sheet they tell me that i should of brought it in... so i offer to hobble over there again and she says that there closed and hangs up? its 2:00pm in the afternoon and there schedule says open 7 days a week total BS so what i have to set another appointment get another x-ray paper? sorry but its tough enough getting around on cruches ill just use my own medical knowledge and wait for it to heal on its own thx anyways geez

Came here because of my terrible tension headache. Dr don't even came to me, put an effort to see where is the trigger point of my headache instead She keep on typing the details and even don't know what to say . She asked me " what do u think it is ? what do u want to do ?" I can't believe it and that I am the one who came closer to her and point it out on her back head where the pain is...... till the end of the appointment She keep on typing very slow into her computer. ohh btw ... this is not even 5 minutes Dr's appointment after 2.5hrs of waiting. Please be more concern of your patients not just doing your job but you care and love your profession.

I started going to this clinic after some very abrupt treatment from the doctor at the Colwood clinic. I've been in at least 6 times now and have been treated by various physicians there. I check the wait times on the website before going in and have always found the wait times to be reasonable (an hour or less). I've found the front end staff to be very helpful and polite and very clear about the wait times/expectations one should have. All the doctors I've seen there have been professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. I think some people's expectations are a little high. This is a walk in clinic. They provide medical help during and outside regular hours even though they have challenges with staffing. I, for one, am glad to have a clinic which attempts to fit patients in outside normal work hours. I get the feeling that they do their best under often trying and stressful conditions. Maybe people could be more productive if they're unhappy with the current conditions of the medical system in BC and complain to their MP's about the lack of family doctors in Victoria.

Had mixed experiences. I had a bladdar problem for a couple weeks. The first two walk-in doctors were very unhelpful and didn't do much to help me. The first one prescribed me some antibiotics to treat a bladder infection but it didn't work. So I came back, a different doctor didn't give each me anything and refused to give me any more drugs to treat it even though I was in a lot of discomfort. He basically shrugged it off and told me to wait for the urine test results. Screw that. I came back again, this time I had an awesome doctor that listened to me and prescribed me some antibiotics and made some helpful suggestions. It worked! As for the receptionists, one of the girls is really nice, but there was one who was very rude and unprofessional. Overall it's okay.

I've been suffering from a chronic ailment for most of my life, but just dealt with it as it was fairly minor. This year so far i've had a couple flair ups and they've been getting worse so i finally went to see a Doctor. I never go see a Doctor unless i'm profusely bleeding, broken, and I always do my research on what's bothering me before hand so I know if i'm just exagerating or over concerned. Last night I saw Dr. Pillay, who not only laughed off my assumptions and refused to listen to why I had concerns but also gave me wrong information. Poor bedside manner, interrupted me, constantly and blittled my knowledge. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

This office is now permanently closed. This is the recorded message when we call for our family Doctor, Mr. Stuart Bax. No warning that my wife and kids are losing their family Dr, although it says we should have been sent a letter or email. According to a receptionist I spoke to, he decided a week ago that he'd rather work in the US. No transitioning us to another Dr, no assistance to help us find another family Dr, they just recommend we go see a walk in clinic. Because they're not over burdened already. What a joke of a practice.

PAID - $37 Pharmacy EXTRA EXPECTED - $70 Collect Another Repeat Prescription from Dr EXTRA EXPECTED - $16 Collect 2nd Repeat of correct medication???? **Extra Expected DENIED! Therefore TOTAL IF PAID and EXTRA to Med Centre $180 + $97 Lab + $53 Pharmacy OVERALL TOTAL 1 and Same Medical Issue $330!!!! I am a new patient and have decided due to such poor service and unnecessary over-charging that I will go elsewhere! I made an appointment Monday 2 Nov and waited 50mins and paid full private $70 as expected. I was recommended to have lab tests which were roughly estimated a further $20-$40 so based on this I accepted. I received the lab test invoice at $97? The pharmacy was closed by the time my appointment finished. Friday 6 Nov another Doctor called (it took the entire week before they called) we spoke 1-2mins and advised I needed to come in as I was on the wrong medication and a fax will be sent to the Pharmacy. I arrived at Pharmacy and "no prescription was received'? Waited in line at Burnside Medical Centre before being asked to pay a further full fee??? I refused as it should have been a follow up appointment - the reception staff (2) finally decided to then charge $40. The issue is that I only received 5 days medication (normally given 7-10days) so I did not fully get better. I called Burnside Medical Centre and they confirmed you must come in again and pay in full for another repeat prescription. I sent an email, my phone is not working so had to wait for their email which was received 2 days later and again confirmed I need to come in to get a repeat prescription and pay full! I am from New Zealand, the service and charges (irrespective of private or being insured), Burnside Medical Centre showcases there focus is more on making profit versus care and wellbeing of their customers! I would not recommend this Medical Centre to anyone!

June 10th 2020 - I just called this walk in clinic for the first time since my last review and I'm surprised. I get that you're busy, most walk in clinics are but having the receptionists be short with people asking questions over the phone is unnecessary. I literally JUST called the Shelbourne walk in clinic yesterday for the same questions (I'm sure they were busy too) and the receptionists was patient and kind when answering me. I took less than 5 minutes of your time. This was a good reminder why I will never ever go to this walk in clinic! I'm thankful to have found a Doctor after 11 months who will take me on as a patient. However, I feel sorry for the many other Victoria residents who struggle finding one like I did, and need to rely on this clinic for their medical needs. Hopefully your patients receive better treatment face to face!! I just had one of the worst experiences with a receptionist working for a medical office I've ever known! I hope the Lady who was working at 2pm this afternoon (June 24, 2019) is happy with herself for speaking to me in such a demeaning way. I called the office this afternoon because I noticed the doctor who I had been seeing was no longer on the walk-in schedule (I too like most of Victoria, have no family doctor) This doctor had referred me to see another doctor six months ago, who I just recently met with. His instructions were to go back and see her as he was sending her my files. When I called this afternoon I had never been made to feel more stupid and degraded by someone speaking to me than what happened today! When I mentioned it to her over the phone too, instead of just saying sorry she tells me she's never been called rude before... So what?! You were being rude now. Anyway, I usually don't have too bad of an experience here and I usually don't ever leave comments.. but this was the WORST experiences I've had by far and I feel my simple question shouldn't have caused someone to speak to me in such a way. I'm sorry I bothered to call and ask what to do, which is great for someone who suffers from anxiety and is only looking for help. Things like this is exactly what's wrong with our medical system.

Made a appointment and still had to wait a hour and a half and after all the time waiting the doctor did not give me the time of day to listen or properly evaluate my condition. Dr Barry was one of the most rude and unprofessional doctors i have met, did not introduce himself or listen to what i had to say. You would be better going to any other clinic in town aside of this one. Worst experience i have had.

I went to that clinic twice, was treated for a bladder infection. Took a urine sample and nothing else, put me on antibiotics. Ended up going to my own doctor two weeks later with still the symptoms and ended up in Jubilee with kidney stones, both kidneys were blocked, nearly lost my life. Emergency surgery and my kidney count was down to 33. Great doctors in there!!!

Just had an appt with an English doc, Dr Bax and it was great. These docs are tapped to the max with patient volume which I can only imagine is a very difficult situation for them too. Dr Bax sat with me and I could tell he cared and was listening. Gave me some great advice and some nice smiles. Good man. Ps. Go at 7:30am to avoid the wait times!!

I have never had any issues being under Alberta health at a walk in clinic in Victoria, even without the flimsy piece of paper with my medical number on it I lost about 8 years ago. The receptionist was rude and made up her own policy stating she needs to see that piece of paper when that is not the clinics policy. If you don't want to work up front with people then get a different job.

Ive come here for walk in a few times. Doctors are all pretty nice. Receptionists will tell you roughly when your appointment is so you can go have a coffee or whatever and come back, which is nice. They're pretty accurate, I usually only wait about 30 minutes ish when I come back.

I brought my children here after they had JUST reported a Ø min patient wait on medi map. Well it still says that, yet the waiting room is full. Additionally, when I arrived, the woman at the walk in reception would not acknowledge me, make eye contact, say I'll be a few minutes, or anything. She literally ignored us for at least 2-3 minutes while we stood right in front of her. (I guess people coming in from the community are not worth her respect.... or even a simple greeting). I work in health care, and when someone comes to the ward desk, and we're dealing with an emergency or tied up, we still say someone will be with you shortly.... and we never leave them unattended for more than a minute (Could be an urgent need). Rude Rude Rude. (She still has time for personal conversations with her other colleague though). UPDATE: It's been 50 mins. I went up to ask where we were on the list. Waited 4 mins for her to end a personal conversation with a an acquaintance of some sort.

I have attended this medical clinic for a number of years, and will continue to do so because the entire staff have always been very professional, knowledgeable. There is a lot of patients they see everyday, and everyone gets us through as fast as possible. So since the entire staff and doctors are so awesome I will continue to be seen at this medical clinic for all my medical needs.

The receptionist was lovely and professional. They are open late which is nice because I could go after work. I had an impacted ear and the doc fixed it within a few minutes, I could have hugged him but I restrained. I'm sure he had a long day (I could sort of tell by his demeanor) but I really appreciated the fast and positive experience overall. Would definitely go back again.

For the volume of people that go to this clinic everyday, they will have you moving as fast as possible. Ok sorry to do this but here's another rant about your clinic. I already posted about the dr. I saw on Dec. 29 and didn't asess my health issues . So a medical review person called and had me go back to get assessed by another dr. yesterday Dec. 31. Went in a reduced rate which I thank you for and the dr. checked my leg and chest pain he told me I needed to get to the hospital to be checked at the emergency room for a possible people (blood clot in lung or heart) said he faxed over the order and that they would be expecting me right away. When I got to the er was told by admitting that he had no clue why the dr at Burnside would send me to the er. After i gave him the requisition to be seen I explained possible dvt and pe. I was sent to sit after paying a large amount because I'm from the states and no care card here. OK fine. Ekg done, blood test done which should have been the d dimer blood clot test done first. Then sitting in the waiting room for more than 4 hours. Taken back to be assessed by er dr. finally. He does a quick ultrasound on groin and back of knee, not a full ultra sound scan on leg. Then sent back to waiting room to wait for them to check the blood work for the d dimer blood clot test which should have been done with the blood work right away. Then chest x ray. After another hour er dr. comes out said the blood test was a little high so need a CT scan but couldnt because I'm allergic to iv dye. So decides to just give me anti Cuagulant shot told to go to warfrin clinic this morning only to find out the ultra sound wasn't a complete one and no other scan because of allergy so they couldn't treat me. Told me I had to go back to er right away and a er. dr. they talked to would phone in for the scan. Went to er and when I said I was from the states the lady in admitting would not even listen to what the warfrin clinic told me to tell them .just kept yellingetting I had to pay another 1040. to even be seen. Like why wasn't the tests done properly yesterday Dec. 31st when I was in there for 8 hours.??I left because I can't keep paying thousands of dollars just to get the right assessment and treated with the right treatment? So why haven't I been able to be treated and with the correct blood thinners and get proper treatment. I feel like I've been just pushed of from one area to the next just to feel better. But still no answers and no treatment for possible blood clots??

When I arrived, there were many people in line already, so I had to wait, which is understandable. The doctor was good and gave me time to ask questions, although she was a little to brisk when answering to try to get to the next patients quickly. The desk staff was good and respectful. I would recommend it, but check online to see the current wait times before going.

Just visited the walk in and was seen by Dr.Kagan who was very helpful and caring. I appreciated how she was efficient but also very thorough. Thanks so much for taking that extra moment to make sure my bloodwork (etc.) was up to date and for making me feel welcome even though I’m not a regular patient!

In terms of booking a covid-19 test for travel, this clinic is amateurishly managed. The website directs you to call a number and leave the time and date that you would like to obtain a test, but when called, the corresponding voice mailbox is full. Responding to medical director's reply: Because I was flying from YVR, I ended up getting a test at the Polycan Health Centre near Simon Fraser University in Burnaby. This Centre had plenty of availability and allowed (!) one to book online. No full voicemail boxes. As the medical director suggests one can do, one can also contact Burnside via email. I had tried this. Instead of getting a response related to a covid test, I got a response from a robot giving me instructions on how to book a telehealth appointment. This is not what I needed. Instead of making excuses about being busy, I would say that Burnside, if it is to offer a covid testing service to the community, needs to actually commit the resources to doing so. Or at least instruct their admins to answer the phone.

I am still sitting here after 3 hours. Staff are not friendly or helpful. Wish they would have told me that others had booked a time left and cane back. Super frustrating. It's become worse and worse each time I have visited. Time for a new walk in with pleasant staff at least.

Extremely poor service!!!! Don't book your covid PCR Test for travel with this medical centre. They are not reliable! My daughter had a return flight booked to London, England. As required for travel she had to have a PCR test done prior flying. Her flight was today (Sunday). She went to this clinic for her test on Thursday which is the earliest she could go for this test based on Travel requirement guidelines. She paid her fee of over $300.00 (includes tax) for the test. She was assured by three people that she would have her results emailed to her on Saturday before her flight on Sunday morning. No email was received. Based on their website info which says they are open on Sunday she thought she would have enough time to call them to confirm the results and have them sent to her in time for her flight. It turns out that they are not actually open on Sundays even though all info on-line says they are. Based on a review from another person they haven't been open on weekends for over a year but neglect to update their info accordingly. What a waste of time, energy and money not to mention the emotional stress this has caused her and her family. And this is a Medical Clinic!!!!!!! They should not be authorized by the Provincial Government to do these tests if they are incapable of performing this function in a reliable and efficient manner. We will be complaining to the appropriate authorities within the Provincial Government regarding this clinic and their lack of accountability!

Our family has been attending Burnside Family Medical Clinic for many years and have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Stuart Bax and his administrative assistant Anne. Dr. Bax embodies all of the qualities of a professional family physician. He is progressive, knowledgeable, kind, calm and genuinely sincere. Our family has consistently been supported, listened to and taken care of and every time we leave our appointments we comment how lucky we are to have Dr. Bax in our corner. He listens, never rushes, is thorough and has such a kind and calm manner about him. Anne is also fantastic. She is organized and on top of things all the time. She is so good at her job and again genuinely wants to help and do what is best for our family. I have seen her interact with others and again she is wonderful and covers things off in such an effective and efficient manner. Thank you so much for everything you do. I know you both are overworked, but you always remain positive and engaged with your patients. 5/5!!

Was told my wait was gonna be less than an hour and I've now been here for 2 hours and I've watched 4 other people leave before me because they had appointments with the doctor because she works at 2 clinics. What's the point of having a "walk in clinic" if the doctor working the walk in is taking all the appointments from her other office that she normally would anywayd??? This is frustrating and a huge waste of my time. Someone like me who doesn't have the need for a family doctor, but rather just for a doctor to give me medicine when I'm occasionally sick because there is no other way to get it is a huge hassle.

Went to this clinic at 8 pm with a potentially broken foot. Despite their claims and despite the open sign being on, they were closed. Hobbled to the clinic at Tillicum mall that was supposed to be open till 9pm. That too turned out to be a lie. Still the most helpful doctors visit I have ever had.

I have had good experience with the doctors at this clinic but it seems very poorly managed. I know there are a shortage of doctors in Victoria, but the system at this place is still awful. Everybody show up together, and we'll get to you until we run out of space, is not an effective way to see patients. Their voicemail suggests sending an email to book a phone appointment. I've sent several emails over the course of a week and no one will get back to me.

I read some of the rude things that people post about this Clinic ... I think that when we’re sick, some can become impatient!!! But taking it out on the Dr that try’s to help u, seems a bit counter productive to me!! Personally I’ve never been treated better, than Burnside Medical Clinic has taken care of me!! The girls at the front desk are helpful and kind!! So thank u girls ... Barb ... u are one in a million!! That’s for everything you’ve done for me ???? But then there’s Dr. Sears ... OMFG this is one of the best Dr’s I’ve ever been to (and I’m old) I asked Dr. Sears if she would come to visit me in the hospital, when I had some very major surgery ... she did!!! It made me cry and I thank her so much for taking such good care of me! I appreciate all of u ... and would recommend this place to anyone Kym Neumann ????‍♀️

I am very disappointed in this clinic. My partner and I booked an antigen test over 3 weeks ago in preparation for our travels. Two days before our scheduled test we followed up twice to ensure there would be no issues. We did not receive any emails back and they don't seem to have a proper call back system when voicemails are left. The evening before our scheduled test we checked their website and it appears that they are not accredited for antigen tests anymore (strange). We had to scramble to find a clinic to book us a test as most clinics are booked up 2 weeks in advance. This was only 72 hours before our scheduled flight. Not only did we scramble to find a clinic but we were unable to book an antigen test and ended up paying over $200 more for this. Not once did they call us to let us know that our appointment was cancelled and if we hadn't followed up beforehand we could have not been allowed on our flight and out thousands of dollars. I cannot believe this is how a medical clinic operates.

Receptionist was rude on phone and rude when I came into the clinic. Poor attitude and talked down to me the whole time. As well as to my girlfriend. Best not to insult and belittle people when they call you. Also I didnt recieved a phone call due to technical.difficulties and was threatened with not seeing a doctor because "we dont like it when people dont show up"...uuhhh yeah my phone didnt ring nor tell me I had a voicemail for 5 days after. Generally there is an understanding when something happens once. But to be talked to like a child for no reason is absolutely ignorant.

Having been to this clinic many times before, I went in expecting the same great service I've received in the past. I'm VERY glad I took a look at the prescription given to me prior to leaving Dr. Perera's office, if I didn't I would've had quite a bad allergic reaction. I had to ask her if she could check it against the medications listed in my file as an allergens - something that I've been customarily asked in the past by any doctor I've seen. Unfortunately, because of this oversight I'm really not comfortable going back to see Dr. Perera.

I don't know what the other reviews are about- maybe there was an receptionist that no longer works here, because I have always had wonderful service here. Best walk in in town. Doctors listen and do their job- their quick but such is the nature of walk ins! Reception has always been wonderful, and I love that the owner of the building comments on reviews, be good or bad!

Good Doctors and great staff doing their job to the best of their ability. Compared to other walkins this clinic is definitely much better than most. Dr Davies is really nice and DOESNT hand out meds like smarties. Dr Sears was amazing when dealing with a problem another clinic had passed the buck and told me to go to the hospital for an ear wash. Dr Pillay and the other doctors have all been wonderful in my experience. This is a good clinic with good doctors. i will admit that calling them can be a pain. it is a busy clinic.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC FOR PRIVATE PCR COVID TESTING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! The private PCR testing service offered by this clinic is nothing short of a scam - I paid over $300 for my test which was completed 72 hours in advance of my flight, as required, and I have yet to get my test results now 93 hours later. I have spent the last 2 days frantically calling the clinic with no response (and the voicemail box is full) so I have had to cancel my flight, causing me unnecessary stress and anxiety and resulting in significant financial implications such as lost wages, new testing fees and the expense of booking a new flight. I know for a fact that LifeLabs, who process the tests, provide a turn around time of 24 to 48 hours yet this clinic has yet to issue me my results, despite being told I would receive them at least day before my flight by multiple members of staff. I can only assume after reading reviews that this because they are not open on the weekend and therefore there is no one to send the results by email. How despicable to take someone's money and assure them they will receive their results in time for their flight knowing that your clinic will not be open?! Completely unethical and disgraceful.

I am very disappointed to see in situation our health care providers are sacrificing their life to save patient's life some people are trying to make money out of this situation ???? I sent my old parents to this clinic because according to flight regulation they need covid test result for their flight back to home. I dropped them off at clinic and they handed out their passports to front desk to issue a covid test results . When I picked them up from clinic and went home I noticed that there is a typo in writing of their name but it was already late and clinic was closed and their flight was in early morning. We went to airport and unfortunately, the y didn't let them to fly and their flight ticket cancelled and I had no other choice to pay for another ticket for them .when I went back to clinic . They said that's your responsibility because you didn't check the spelling and I told them my parents aren't able to read and you had already their passports in your hand to check the spelling. But they didn't even accept that this is their fault.

Called and emailed numerous times to book a PCR test an no reply after 5 days. Just goto Vancouver for more reliable PCR testers. There are places where you can book your test in 3 minutes online and 50$ cheaper.

I went to this walk in today and I'm quite an anxious person for clinics and such but contrary to the reviews I've read here the woman at reception who helped me was very polite and kind and made me feel comfortable! Same goes with the Doctor I saw, had to deal with something unpleasant and he was very accommodating and also made me feel safe and comfortable! Thank you guys :)

They dont answer their phone half the time. I have called multiple times over the last few months and had the phone be busy for hours. The doctor has done nothing for my severe abdominal pain and lethargy that has worsened to the point I can't exercise, work, clean, or even make myself food comfortably. His response has been lose some weight and quit smoking weed. This negligence is going to kill me and they wont even notice. Edited from 1 star to 3 in light of response. Admitting a problem goes a long ways towards fixing it and these are difficult times for medical staff. Edited back to 1 star. Over a year and my pain only worsens. Doctors don't remember me and my file doesn't include important symptoms. I'd go elsewhere but I have no money to afford U.S. healthcare and I don't have the time to start all the tests over. What a terrible system

Had a great experience at this clinic - I was there early to wait in line and they let us into the building hallway early (it was pouring out!) which was really nice of them. Dr. Barnabas was very friendly and attentive and the whole experience was very quick. Thank you for the excellent service.
