You are buying a ticket for the 649 lotto. If you get a chance to see doctor on time, you won million dollars lottery.. Approximately 2hrs late each time. If you have time to waste go for it. I am writing my 2yrs experience with this clinic. Front desk will tell you talk to your doctor and doctor will say talk to front desk. This review is totally based on the time management of the clinic. I am not commenting on doctors competance. Doctors are competent and professional. Just the management is horrible.. Probably they need to change the manager..

Doctors are really good but wait time is 2-3 hrs generally. I will suggest this clinic if you are not working because one appointment will take atleast 2-3 hrs. I am going there from last five years and I never seen they serve me in less than 2-3 hrs. They just need to be little organized.

Horrible clinic!! No respect of our time. I'm coming here from last 2 years. Nothing has changed here. Even with an appointment you will wait at least 2 hours to be seen by the doctor. I had 1 pm appointment and still waiting here. It doesn't even deserve one star but since you have to give them something in order to post the comment.

Horrible clinic! The one staff lady (the fat one) is so damn rude! And even with an appointment you will wait at least 2 hours to be seen by the doctor. My mom and dad have been going there for years.....and now that Dr.Vijay Thapar has passed away (who by the way was an amazing doctor)----I am looking to take them to a new physician. It doesn't even deserve one star but since you have to give them something in order to post the comment one star is a generous rating.

I think they have a hire "friends and family" policy cause clearly the staff at reception is not qualified for their jobs. We had an appointment for 2:50 and weren't taken in till 4 o clock .. On asking the staff, we got a rude reply saying everyone has an appointment. We clearly saw people who had come in long after us were being sent it in front of us. Some of them even walk ins maybe. The other Indian lady Paramjit had no clue how to operate the system and had to ask the other person. She didnt even ask the name and appointment time.. Just took down the health card details and asked us to wait. Please don't come here unless you want to become sicker waiting in the lobby. The doctors are good but the reception staff just needs to go. No management whatsoever. More of a fish market than a clinic but the only difference is youll get better service at a fish market.

Long waiting times. Even after taking appointments, minimum of 1-1.5 hours of wait times. I believe this institution does not know the meaning of appointment. Doctors are nice but can not recommend this institution to anyone due to the waiting times.

Waited for 3 hours even I had appoinTment. Staff constantly told me there was only one patient ahead of me and it would be only 10 more minutes. Three hours passed and they told me the same thing. This clinic overbooks appointments and expects the patients to wait in their cars for hours. At this point it isn't about patients, this clinic is their cash cow. Will be seeking a better family doctor who can actually make their appointments and would recommend the same for others.

Despite of booking an appointment I had to wait 2 hours outside and then another 1hr the room inside waiting for the doctors. Doctors are good here that's why I came here but wait is killing. Worst clinic I have been to in my life and probably one of the worst clinic in Edmonton. Dr. Tania Thapar was great, but the reception was so bad that it's not even worth going here. If they fix the reception and have better time management then this place would be great.

The front desk staffs are the worst ..No professionalism.They give priority to the patients of their personal interest..Yesterday we had an appointment at 12:30 pm for our baby..Reached on time but the front desk staff asked us to wait for 30 minutes from then..We patiently waited for half hour, but they never called ..Again we have to reach them ,and then they again asked us to wait for half hour more..In short we waited for unnecessary 1 hour with our baby in this pandemic situation even after taking appointment..In-between we noticed that they have sent some of their favourite patients to the the doctors cabin who came later than us.. This is the 2nd time we are facing this scenario from this front desk staffs..They are pathetic and so rude.. Doctor we met once was very good with his service but this type of junk receptionists will ruin the clinic ‘s reputation..

My 5 stars has nothing to do about the clinic, it is only for our family doctor Sunil Bananda. He has been our doctor for the last 5 years. A knowledgeable, loving, caring, and patient person. Clinic management is ridiculous. After long 5 years, I am still thinking why they are not able to fix the wait time issue. If you want to learn to be more patient, pleas come here. The clinic looks great with recent renovation. Clean, spacious, and now lot of exam rooms too....Still expect 1 hour wait time.

If I could give minus stars I would.I scheduled an appointment today. And waited and waited and waited. It was supposed to be a quick referral for my daughters needs and a important diagnosis to move forward. I felt on the other spectrum of racism. We are white and everyone around us was easy Indian. I am not a racist person but I felt it ten fold today as they continuously let east Indian walk ins go in before us. I finally gave up and left.

This place has the worst wait time you will ever experience besides going to a hospital . Every time that I have brought my husband or daughter here the wait has been 2+ hours with an appointment. It seems as though they seem to favor curtain patients with picking who gets to go in before who . My husband does like our doctor though but the wait was just to much . If you are going here make sure you book off a full day . We will be picking a new place .

Worst worst receptionist ever not sure about her name though Gurnam or gurpal but she don't know how to talk nicely with patients. Hung up phone on me. Cutomer service is zero. Dont know how to talk with patients. Got a job but dosent know how to do it. Just ridiculous.She was very rude to me. she need to go back to her school ( have doubt if she had attended before) and should learn properly how to deal with patients. Pathetic services. Worst organized place. Have been trying to tell them by all means, but they are so, what you call in Punjabi, " Thheethh, they would not move. Today my appointment was fixed for 11:40, expecting normal delay, I called reception at 11:15, if I can come. She told me that I will have to wait for 30-45 minutes(despite my appointment) and as advised I reached reception at 1200 noon. And I was made to cool my heals in reception for 40 minutes and in chamber for 20minutes. Wastage of One and an half hour despite pre fixed appointment. These bunch of unethical people feel that only their time is important and the patients are worthless and without any other work. May God make them suffer for all the time cumulatively, they make the patients to suffer out on the wait unnecessarily just because their " who cares" attitude. 31st January 2018: Today again, although Doctors( Dr. Jassar) is pure Gold, very kind , patient, listening and with all ears for person in discomfort, BUT the time management and reception staff just SUCKS. I made my appointment 10 days in advance and requested for 1St appointment of the day. 10:00 AM, so that I don’t have to wait!! I was on dot 0950 and at 10:10 I have to remind the reception about my 1000 AM appointment. She ushered me to exam. room to cool my heels for another 25 minutes. Thank God it was done. If 1st appointment lags 35 minutes, but entails to other one!!!!!!! The reception staff remains same grumpy, unwelcoming and inattentive to persons on desk or to timing versus appointment.

We waited for an hour (as we were told that you may be taken in within 35 minutes) and found out that the patients who came after us was taken in, the new one also got lucky to be seen ahead of us, just only us were unlikely today that had to wait this much. Don’t make the mistake of coming here. Run away if you can. Their management is awful! They will make you wait for more than an hour and they don’t even care that you have a life and need to be somewhere else apart from the clinic. No apologies, nothing. I love my doctor... I absolutely HATE this clinic. Even with an appointment expect a 2-4 hour wait. Every time you book an appointment it get's moved, cancelled or delayed by HOURS. Even when specifically requesting to be her first appointment, the clinic takes other people ahead of you (3 in my case) and I still wait over an HOUR to get to the second waiting room (oh yes, there are two) I can count the number of times my appointment has been on time. It's ZERO, as in NEVER... 3 years and counting. Even when I phone to check and see if I'll get in on time and get told its 2 hours behind. I show up 2 hours later and STILL WAIT at LEAST another hour. I often have to reschedule 2-3 times and pester the front desk people to try and be in and out in an hour. Terrible if you have any sort of schedule or have to work. If there was any other place I could see my doctor I would go in a heart beat. Terrible time management.

Worst receptionists ever. Finally writing here after getting repeated service for 5-7 times. Receptionists don’t care about patients’ time. Receptionists don’t know how to book the appointments considering the average time required for patients. I always have to wait for at least 1:30 hours, even after booking appointments. Today, they even did worse. They book appointments for 2 different patients with same doctor and same time. This was my last visit here.

Never coming back here and will do my best to stop as many as I can from coming here too. They have just made it money making business and are playing with patients health. If you call then they will give you an appointment, would ask you to come over but then you gotta wait for hours there. Now, tou cant go or book an appointment to any other clinic as well and they will make you wait for hours before you see doctors. On top of that the receptionists are rude and arrogant. I even asked everyone sitting there and thel all told me that they have been waiting for more than an hour atleast even though they had made appointments. Doctors here are great. Cant say same about receptionist. They really need to be trained how to speak with patients in-person and on the phone. Also instead of saying everytime 20 mins wait despite appointments, just tell the truth an hr to two hours wait. This way people not wasting time. Doctors are good. Around 2 years ago.. I called the doctor before the clinic opened and asked if my grandma can see you as she is not feeling well. He said yes. We were the first patients in the clinic. I told the receptionist that my grandma is now talking about chest pain her response was doctor will see his relatives first and then you. I was shocked that relatives are seen first before a patient who just said chest pain. Doctor arrived late then saw his relatives and then us. Ended up taking grandma to ER. WORST WORST receptionist ever. I have seen so many crying patients waiting in their waiting room.

The front receptionist play favourites with other patients. I literally had to wait even with appointment and I saw patients who came in after me and they say the doctor before me. Front receptionist very rude and unprofessional uneducated. If you ask them why it’s taking so long they give you attitude and say that you need to wait. And to give you reason what’s going on and why it’s taking so long. I have long since changed doctors also the referral for my son they really messed up and couldn’t give me a good reason as to why my son hasn’t heard back from the referring doctor. They even messsed up contact number for the referral when I had changed my contact info with the front receptionist. I would not recommend this place at all and if I could give minus 10 stars I would.

Appointments are an arrangement to meet someone at a particular time but this office has no concept of that idea. Its absurd how checking in I'm told that there is only one patient in front of me and I end up waiting over 2 hours, kept checking in with the front desk to ask what's going on and they had no idea, finally got called into a room and ended up waiting another 45 minutes just to leave because they still had no idea what was taking so long and I was already 15 minutes late for work. Theres no value for our time, the doctors never in the room for longer than 5 minutes with me so I don't understand what the doctor what doing with that patient in the room for over 2 hours, the front desk has no record of any other patients going in. I don't know if this is lack of communication or if the doctors just taking in her own patients without informing the front desk. Don't make appointments if you can't stay on track and get everyone in on time. Maximum time a patient should be in a doctors office is 15 minutes. Needs to be walk in only, very unprofessional and unorganized. There's so many negative reviews, obviously everyone's feedback is disregarded because this office is still the same.

There is no place where you don"t have to wait. But deshi people thinks they own these doctors .They have no problem in waiting at other clinics. I have seen lot more waiting time at other clinic.Yes, here some time you have to wait but if you are in Emergency they take you right away . They never make you wait if you are with child.Doctors are very knowledgeable and they are never in rush. They explain you every thing in detail...All doctors are very good. Fantastic doctors. Yes, people complain about the wait, but Dr. Thapar (senior) as the best doctor, best in Edmonton. He never rushed, and always took the time to listen to patients. The main reason it takes so long is appointments are booked earlier than doctors arrive. The staff have never been that great, the front manager is pretty rude most of the time, but most of the girls are lovely, they answer the phones and make appointments - they can't perform miracles. The doctors here are worth the waiting time.

What's the point of making appointments if we still have to wait 3 - 4 hours just to see doctor for 10 mins or even less than that sometimes... this time we made an appointment 3 days ago n we were told we have an appointment 8 Dec at 2:15 n when we visited there was no appointment booked for us for the time we were told. Like what is this Nonsense... n she told she will have to put us on the very last because there were people who were booked and our turn will be in end its been more than 4 hours n still our turn haven't come when asked when will be our turn she told your turn is next and two people have already gone n we are still waiting for that "NEXT" turn... don't make appointments if you can't stay with time don't want to wait whole day even with the appointment booked. Bad bad bad bad bad bad is all this place is with "TIME" either they are booking appointment according to the time out of this country or they are not familiar with the word "appointment and time"

Worst place ever......reception ladies have zero manner. I made my 1st family doctor in Canada had a terrifying experience. I had booked appointment in advance but still waited for 3 hours to see the doctor. Woman’s at reception we’re letting other people see doctor because they were known of them or were old Clients. Finally get to see doctor ... she is asking me if she should put me on medication..? I got confused if I am doctor or she ..I mean no words to explain how worst is the place and employees are.

Ridiculous wait times. The receptionists don't know what they are doing. At the least they could tell you how long the wait is going to be, but no they don't and you sit there for 3 hours. People have lives and careers they need to take care of not sit there waiting because of noneducated receptionists who can't do their jobs. Terrible

Waited for 4 hours for my appointment. I eventually left without seeing my doctor as I don't have all day to wait. Staff constantly told me there was only one patient ahead of me and it would be only 10 more minutes. Three hours passed and they told me the same thing. This clinic overbooks appointments and expects the patients to wait in their cars for hours. At this point it isn't about patients, this clinic is their cash cow. Will be seeking a better family doctor who can actually make their appointments and would recommend the same for others.

Stay away from this clinic. Every time I book an appointment I always call them befor my appointment that if I can go to see the doctor if they say yes then only I go to visit still have to sit there for at least 2 hours everytime. The only reason I have to visit this clinic because I was visiting it before my pregnancy and they have all my details. I have 10 days old baby at home and in order to get my maternity leave from my job I have to get my doctor sign a form that I have to submit at my work. I dropped my form to the clinic just to get it signed by my doctor. It took 2 days, 7 phone calls and finally 2 hours waiting in the clinic. As soon as I get well from my pregnancy I will never visit this clinic again and if you want to take my advise get someone else who value your time. The staff here is so rude and have zero knowledge what they are doing.

Staff here is terrible booked an appointment for 6:30 pm today and still had to wait for 1.5 hours even after showing up for appointment on time. Normal wait time here is 2 hours even though the staff will book any appointment under the pretext that there is no wait time. Feel like they should get there staff in order or shut down this place. Never trust what the staff says here

My daughter had fallen off the bed and I needed her to be checked out for my own satisfaction that she was ok. I showed up 7 minutes before they close and they did not take me in. The doctor apparently didn't refuse to see her he just told the nurse to tell me.to go to the hospital because it would take him longer then 5 minutes to do the examination. REALLY dude you couldn't stay a whole ten minutes past your shift to look at a 9 month old with her worried mother? We went to the hospital and the examination of her was literally 5 min. I rate them a negative 100 if I could. You got into this profession to help people who need help and you turned us away because you didn't wanna stay an extra few minutes. I'll never go back and I will never recommend anyone to this medi center.

Waited for 3 hours. My appointment got delayed. They don't care about your time and appointment. Because doctors are busy in entertaining their friends and relatives without appointment. Doesn't matter if you have appointment because if any known friend or relatives come they will delay your appointment. Staff are horrible specially one girl with glasses sitting in middle. She is the worst staff I have ever seen. So again doctors don't care about your time and appointment if relatives and friends come without appointment.

I usually don’t rate any business or entity but I think for this I wanted to share my experience, I went for my appointment and I asked the girl at front how long is the wait for? She’s like an hour then I asked her why people have to wait with appointments answer was people with appointments for 12:45 pm still waiting. I went there close to 3 pm. She said you can ask the doctor why she’s running behind. I mean this is ridiculous, front desk they don’t even know how to talk to their clients.

I think the staff need to go back to school because they don’t seem to understand what an appointment is. had to wait 1.5 hours AFTER my appointment time. what’s the point of booking an appointment if i gotta wait. 0/10 recommended. Wait time 3 hours minimum, with or without appointment. Bad staff. Completely unorganized clinic. Doctors talk for way too long....Stories unnecessary...They don't care about patients time...Very good clinic for people getting bored at home...Come talk to these doctors for hours......

This place is a joke. Reception is rude and rush you without hearing you out fully. Even if you have an appointment you wait over an hour. The staff don't communicate with each other so it's even more frustrating when you tell one nurse one thing and the other has no idea what you're talking about. One lady waited an hour in the parking lot and was asked why she came so late when she said that she had already been there waiting for an hour and had checked in at the front desk already. I will be calling whoever is managing this establishment and will continue to do so until they get their act together.
