Booked appointments still wait 55min upon arrival at the clinic. Phone call appointments also run 35min late, with absolutely no heads up notification. You just sit and wonder if they even have you booked for the call. Lab orders also not tracked. My lab results didn't come back to the clinic, which I only found out about months later when I followed up with my doctor about the results. A lot of room for improvement, or just might be time to look for another MD.

Went in to see a doctor while in excruciating pain. Was prescribed antibiotics for the situation I’m in but was told to wait to see if they could prescribe me T3’s for the unbearable pain. I Was made to wait 45 minutes just to be told “I had to follow protocol and unfortunately we cannot prescribe you any.” They should of seen I’ve been prescribed them once before for The exact same reason. Why make me wait that long just to be told no. What a waist of time.

Dr.McEvoy is amazing! The receptionists at the front desk are always helpful and friendly as well. Would give 5 stars, but they're often very busy and running behind on appointments. As long as you keep that in mind and give yourself some extra time for appointments, everything else is amazing.

I visited the clinic to get my physical check up. The appointment was with Dr. Romano. The clinic was effectively following all the COVID protocols and I was called in on time. My check up was done very efficiently and professionally. Dr. Romano took the time to explain some issues I had and I felt at ease with the information. Waited an hour after having an appointment booked six weeks prior to be told they marked me as a no show after I checked in and sat next to the reception desk. I was told I'd have to wait another week to get in I asked for the manager they said she'd call me back. I called back in as I hadn't received a call was told she was in a meeting and would follow up the following day. No response. Very clean, organized office. Great covid check in at the door. Friendly staff. I did not feel rushed with my physician though surprised by her physical exam. Was a lot less than what I thought would be for a yearly exam. Felt she missed some body parts- must be the new way of doing things. Only thing I wish could change is that the physician sits on the computer and their back is turned away from you. I feel with technology taking over so much that a medical clinic this size could create a better way to have the physician facing their patients while working on the computer. Other places have this and it works great. It will allow you to feel like you are part of the conversation especially since it is about you.

Tried to scam us multiple times into paying because we had Manitoba healthcare, saying they couldn’t prove it was real. We thought this was a real thing in Alberta and are waiting on documents to arrive to apply for healthcare here. Went to another walk in just down the road and they took our out of province healthcare no problems with no questions asked. They were surprised when I told them what they were doing here. Another walk in here in Edmonton is trying to scam new people to the province too. New comers to Alberta beware of places like this. Just disgusting honestly what you guys are doing.

She is one the rare doctors that actually doesn't mind to talk about anything that is bothering you and takes her time to listen to you. I was just denied medical services by Dr Ibi. I have a medical mask exemption written by another Dr in this clinic. I have no symptoms of illness. Dr Ibi walked into the treatment room, completely covered head to toe in ppe including mask AND shield. She refused to treat me because of my mask exemption. No one could explain to me how i could possibly be a threat to someone completely covered in ppe? Fear and prejudice has apparently replaced medical science. Shouldn't a Dr know better?!!

The family doctors are overbooked here. Everytime I call to make an appointment I have to wait two weeks or more to see my GP. Don't get me wrong I love my doctor, just wish it was easier to get an appointment. Also, you need to watch out for some of their receptionists, I've been double booked and told misinformation multiple multiple times so I always triple check with them to make sure I have the proper information when booking an appointment. (There is one receptionist who always gets it right and does an amazing job but I forget her name)

This clinic is following all health protocols stringently. I have always found the receptionists, nurses and my doctor to be very polite, helpful and kind. I think Dr. Pariy is absolutely phenomenal. Great medical team, probably one of the best in Edmonton - just need to work on the wait times, and how they are managed at the front end. Not a fan of labels being created if you miss an appointment - especially when doctors have missed appointments or being left in an examine room for four hours waiting for a doctor. This clinic and its doctors and staff are incredible. I have been coming here for years and Dr. McEvoy is brilliant. I feel I am in the best care with her as she listens, cares about my concerns, and makes sure I have everything I need to be healthy. The front desk staff are just as wonderful and kind. Wait times are usually long - around 45 minutes to be seen with an appointment; however, for the quality of care I receive, it is worth it. I have seen a couple other doctors here as they are all great physicians.

If you're reading this and have an upcoming appt here (with anyone, but my experience is mainly with Dr McAvoy) you may need to check and see if there's a horseshoe lodged somewhere, because you are in luck. I've never experienced better care from a doctor in my life, the clinic is busy (which makes sense, the services are amazing), but very efficient. The waiting room is really nice, but it's not a matter of style over substance. The one time I did use the can there, I was quite relieved to see how nice and clean it was (I tend to be reasonably cautious when using a clinic's bathroom). I can't really think of anything I dislike about the clinic to make this review seemed balanced, so... It's by a Subway and Subway is gross? That's all I can think of. I guess the parking lot can get crowded, but it's a reasonably sized lot, so you're very likely to find parking out front. There's a lot of street parking nearby, so it won't ever be an issue.

She advocated aggressively for me to see a specialist during the COVID hellscape and got me one in a timely fashion. This is someone who will advocate for your health. Clinic is clean, very well-staffed, with polite admin/reception staff, who made me feel super comfortable. Pharmacy and Dynalife within a close distance.

The doctors at this clinic are fabulous. However it seems to be managed by the cat in the hat. I am grateful I don't often require doctors care as the staff all seem like they work hard with no support or appreciation. There always seems to be chaos and confusion and management can never seem to give proper support. Many I know have said in recent months the clinic has gone downhill since a shift in management and focus. Hopefully the staff can one day find pride and joy in their work again!

Dr Pariy is wonderful. Receptionists are good, but a woman standing at the front would immediately yell “reception” at you when you walk in. One patient who came in did not understand English well and the one woman at the front kept repeating and obviously embarrassed the patient. I believe this could have been handled differently, but everything else and the nurses of the clinic are amazing.

My appointment with Dr. McEvoy in May 2021 was primarily to discuss my episodes with Urinary Tract Infection. She had sent me for a thorough lab examination and she showed me the results in detail. She gave me simple instructions for ways to prevent these infections so that I can avoid having to take more antibiotics. She answered my questions about loss of appetite and sense of smell. She also completed the medical form for my drivers' license. My daughter was with me and the Dr. listened to her questions and concerns and gave her answers. As always, I was very satisfied with the visit.

I have been going to Callingwood Crossing for 20 years, The clinic has recently been renovated, and is very modern. They have a new online appointment booking system, which is a HUGE improvement- the clinic is popular and busy, it used to be very difficult to get through to make an appointment- it is now very easy and convenient, and they send you reminder emails and texts so you dont forget. As for the doctors, I can only comment on mine, Dr Ken Romano, who I think is excellent. I have no complaints whatsoever about Callingwood Crossing,. They also are open weekends and take walk ins.

Even more so during these unusual times - they have been quick to assist in booking phone consultations and providing lab results as available. I have personally seen Dr. Bernadette McEvoy and so appreciate her knowledge, active listening skills and true desire to assist or refer me on as required to specialists. Dr. McEvoy takes the time to listen to concerns and find the best option for treatment or try several until a solution is found. I highly recommend the clinic! My son has utilized the services on a drop in basis only a couple of times and we found it very easy to see a walk in physician as required.

I have been going to this clinic for many many years. They have done a great job in upgrading the clinic and have many exam rooms, and the booking system between online or telephone is now very friendly, opposed to the past where the line just rang busy. Great clinic, love my Doctor.......

I have been there twice as walk-in because I moved and haven’t gotten a new family doctor. They were really good with COVID protocols, I felt safe at all times with social distance between patients. Doctors also had mask plus face shield. I know it’s uncomfortable so thank you for wearing that for our safety. The visit itself did not take much time, maybe 30-45 minutes wait max. Very reasonable for walk in. Both times the different doctors were quick but thorough. I did not feel rushed. Definitely would recommend!

Not very comfortable with the first doctor that I saw! Thought that he was too quick to order meds and not really interested in listening to me! When he left the clinic I was fortunate to connect with Dr Axford who has been friendly, caring and is very efficient as well as knowledgeable! She is great and listens to me before jumping to conclusions or trying to argue with me! I in turn listen carefully to her and try to follow through! I like the fact that we can arrange to have a phone conversation if needed!

This was my first visit to meet Dr. Goronga. The place is very tidy and clean. The front staff very helpful. The only complaint I have is the parking. As I am handicapped I had to park on the far side of the parking lot and walk over. This is fine in summer but in winter I can see this as a problem. The parking lot is very small for the large clinic that you operate.

My awesome family Dr is at this clinic. I have to say that since Covid, the process for checking in as become more streamlined and much more effective. The front end staffer is very attentive which I appreciated. You are no longer waiting in line for one or two of the staff to get off the phone or get up and go do something while you are in line waiting to check in...In my own career of medical service, the patient was always acknowledged first and this new process allows the front end staff to do this so this is now being much more efficiently handled, and I appreciate that. The waiting room is divided and also much more comfortable now. Thank you Callingwood Crossing, you have made some good changes!!

Dr.Mc.Evoy is awesome, so is smart, attentive and knowledgeable. She goes the extra mile to help and cares about you. Many Doctors just welcome you in, throw drugs at you and don't want to listen to you. You're just a number to sell drugs to. Really sad, but true. I can't stand that. Dr. McEvoy listens, figures a plan that is best for you. She has a very helpful assistant, Stephanie as well.

Started with this clinic about 3 years ago. First doctors I saw were amazing! However. Over this past year the doctors they have have been nit very good at all. I had one doctor refuse me my prescribed medication and tried to start me on a more expensive and dangerous form of my medication. He also completely wrote out one of my prescriptions wrong. Leaving me without medication for my epilepsy. Horrible experience with dr. Coltthrust both times I saw him!

Booked a virtual walk-in appointment according to receptionist's instructions. Was waiting for an appointment since yesterday. Doctor was passed the call window, so I checked in and they said she was running behind and I was still on the list. I waited another hour or so to call and check in again to find out they were closed, and the doctor never called. No-one called to say the doctor wouldn't be able to make the appointment. No-one indicated the doctor was too busy for an appointment. I tried calling several other clinics, but it's too late in the day and everyone is booked. If you have a time-sensitive matter to address with the doctor, I wouldn't choose this clinic. Clearly they can't get their ducks in a row, so what does that say about the medical care you'd receive? If they don't respect patients enough to be upfront with them about getting into an appointment, that sets a pretty low standard of care.

Callingwood Crossing Medical Clinic and Dr Ken Romano has been my family doctor for around 40 years now. I have always been able get looked after by him unless he was on Summer Vacation or his Winter Get Away. I never had to come back the next day as no one was unavailable to see me. I might have to wait to see Dr Ken but he's my doctor all these years. I have lived 10 houses away to the other side of Spruce Grove and past 15 years down in Riverdale area about 1hr away by bus so he must be a good doctor with a good nurse that helps with the intake after you check in with the front desk and again very nice staff that greets you as you come into the office. The only time he was not my doctor was when my wife book me into hers. But you know when you are seen by the best you always come back again and again.
