My dog was not doing very good we took her in to find out what was wrong to find out her one side of ovaries burst. Which put puss in her abedom. They got her in the same day did xrays to find the problem. From there we found out about the puss in her abedom when tbey open daisy (dog). They got out what they could put her on meds. Kept a very close eye on her all night. If it wasnt for there great compassion for the animals they care for she would have died. I will be forever grateful for taking such good care of our family pet. Sandra& casey and Daisy

We went through a very difficult episode with one of our beloved dogs. With great sadness, we had to let him go. Dr. Carmen and staff that day demonstrated so much caring and compassion. We knew what options were available and we were supported in our decision to say goodbye. We were given all the time we needed to say goodbye and we were with him to the end. Dr. Carmen ensured that he felt safe and comfortable as was possible. Her professionalism brought him to the end of his pain. Thank you to the staff for the kind sympathy card- it meant a lot. Goodbye, Monty. We love you and will forever hold you in our hearts and memories. Goodbye "baby boy".

I took our blue heeler to DC Vet for the first time today and left feeling like our boy was so well taken care of. He’s shown some reactiveness with vets recently, but Dr. Sam Deamel was caring, calm, and had plenty of treats (including a lick mat!) & love to give our guy when he was feeling a bit timid. Highly recommend ????

Excellent business. My small dog needed immediate vet care - they fit me in within hours which was amazing. Exam, diagnosis, pain meds, antibiotics & eye drops $197. Amazing!! The actual vet thoroughly explained what happened & why. Very much appreciated. Very scary when you're away from home & your pet companion is hurt. Thank you for helping us so quickly!

Honest veterinarian, took our 15 year old 20lbs cat in last week, they had him fixed up and returned home within 2 hours, did not charge extras, or waste time, our buddy healed up in 3 days, was not given to much anesthetic either as he was alert when we came for him

This place is a joke. You pay for a fancy building and allow yourself to get nickle & dimed on every little expense that's typically covered in the examination fee at another vet clinic. Poor customer service, no water given to my dog after being there all day for a non-surgical procedure plus incompetence when it comes to applying a dressing that didn't even stay on until I got home (10 mins). I was charged for every little expense which was abhorrent including a 38 cent piece of gauze and a 'cleaning fee' which didn't even need cleaning, it needed examining. I will never be back and I'll ensure to tell all my friends to go elsewhere too.

I took my dogs since they were puppies. My dog, Bo loves the Vet. She has taken care of my dogs really well. I have a 6 lbs toy poodle and I trust Dr. Darla Cabanas to care for my toy poodle, Didi. When Didi needed an immediate medical intervention, the clinic recommended to take Didi to ER, Canada Western and Didi was well taken care by all of them. Thanks.

If I could rate negative stars I would. Recently my mom brought in her 13 year old German Shepherd, Ally to be euthanized. It was a horrible and traumatic experience. The vet on duty was Katrina Barth. Ally was given two needles to sedate her which were NOT effective. Dr. Barth made an unprofessional joke that they should give her the "good" stuff. Ally became upset and started growling due to being poked twice and was scared. Ally was normally NOT aggressive. Dr. Barth wanted to muzzle Ally and said, "maybe you should bring her home and we can try this again tomorrow." My mom was very distraught having made the difficult decision to bring her beloved fur baby into the vet to have her humanely put down and taking her home to suffer another day was not an option. Dr. Barth is very unprofessional and did nothing to relieve my mom's frustration. Its shameful how Ally was treated in her last moments of life. Its unfortunate Dawson Creek only has the one option for veterinary clinics.

I have tried to write this review many times, wrote and erased, over and over, trying to find the right words. Thank you would not be enough. Our boy was sick and was not something that could be fixed. All the staff from reception to the doctors were amazing. They were flexible in our time of need, kind and empathetic in our time of loss. They treated our boy, and ourselves as family.{not the crazy side!} What an amazing group. Thank you is not enough.

I have nothing but good to say about this vet clinic! They have gone above and beyond! I have used them for the past 7 years and I have never been disappointed. In so many ways their customer service is exceptional. I called and was able to get in the same day for a test I needed for my dog to take her down to the States. The receptionist on her own without me asking called other clients and rearranged the schedule to fit my dog in. I breed Golden Retrievers and have called in the middle of the night and spoken with a vet about issues regarding puppies or the mom. The vets, as well as the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend.

They were really great! Working away from home with a puppy is tough sometimes. Today when my little guy got sick, I called the clinic and they had him in the same day. The tech, vet and receptionist were all fantastic and really nice. I appreciated their service and overall professionalism

Was supposed to get Dr. Charlotte to examine my leopard gecko but instead got Dr. Katrina. She wasnt the greatest as she grabbed my leo by the neck and by the stomach, two key places you should not grab a gecko by as they do not have scruffs on their necks like a dog and it can put stress on them. (My leo very clearly didn't like it as she kept trying to walk away from her). Terry, the woman who helped us with expenses for the exam and medication clearly gave us false information about leopard geckos as I've already done plenty of research and know what to feed my reptile. Baby food is most definitely NOT one of them. Neither is fruits and vegetables as leopard geckos cant properly digest them. I get she's bred reptiles, especially bearded dragons, but as she confessed that shes only ever had 1 leopard gecko, it made me a little upset that someone who works at a facility that many people look up to and take action on the advice given was giving false advice on how to care for a reptile that she had very minimal knowledge on. Dr. Katrina was nice and very informative, so the only real complaint I have about her is her handle on my reptile.
