These guys are great. Go here. First, every single person I have interacted with has been amazingly kind and lovely. Second, they are all a bunch of dental nerds and it's great. They have lots of new equipment (who doesn't want a 3d scan of their skull?!), and Dr. Bachus is super knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. He pointed out features of my teeth I didn't know about and explained what it meant. Very informative and helpful. Its just a really great experience start to finish. I am weirdly looking forward to my filling in March? Who says that about their dentist?!

Amazing staff! I felt so welcomed and they explained everything to me to help me make choice in my treatment. They have really amazing technology and can show you what the issues are in 3D so you get a real idea of what is happening.

Absolutely lovely office and amazing staff. Dr. Bachus is so reassuring and Jocelyn is an absolute sweetheart. My hygienist was so great and checked in on me frequently to make sure everything was comfortable. They make coming to the dentist a great experience.

Highly recommend anyone open to seeing a new Dentist to take the time to check out this clinic, the office is beautiful, the staff provided quality care and I felt I was in great hands. I have been suffering from tension headaches due to a medical condition and after speaking with the Dr decided to try a treatment for the first time. They offer both Botox & Dysport. I wish I had gone this route a lot sooner as I haven't had one headache and my forehead muscles are no longer in pain. Really happy I walked by their office & decided to go in!

Nothing but great things to say so far about North Island Dental. The Dr was personable and didn’t seem rushed or like I was an inconvenience to him. All the staff were also great. I was put on a cancellation list to have a tooth fixed before the holidays and the staff were amazing at accommodating me as soon as they could. They also gave specific details on what to expect of an emergency type appointment. The whole experience from booking to the end of the appointment was seamless and great.

I was a bit nervous to attend a new dentist but I tried Dr Bachus' office as it's close to my work and easier for me to get to. I was rewarded with incredible service, wonderful dental work (repairing a chipped tooth to the point where it actually looks flawless now) and great collegial care. The office is spotless, the staff remarkably kind and Dr Bachus is a great dentist! I have already recommended them to a few friends and would gladly endorse the team!

I first experienced Dr Bachus’s care at the dental clinic at 19 Wing Comox. Exceptionally personable, approachable and a consummate professional, he was one of the base’s superstars. I knew he was establishing a new civilian practice, and after releasing from the military, it was a no-brainer to seek him out for ongoing care. His new facility is stunning and is equipped with diagnostic equipment that I have never seen in a general dentistry practice. My initial visit with him was more comprehensive than any previous dental appointment, thanks to Dr Bachus’s employed technology. Kudos also have to be given to his hygienist Laura, who was as gentle as she was thorough. Everybody at the practice was super friendly! The whole experience seemed so much more social than a dental visit. Dentistry isn’t normally fun, however, I’m looking forward to my next appointment! Maybe I’ll eat more candy and sugar just to shorten the time between visits!…

Beautiful new dental office, with all the bells and whistles. Dr. Cyrus Bachus and the staff have provided me with a secure feeling that we will receive treatment second to none. I felt at ease as soon as we were greeted at the front desk. Not hard to recognize that North Island Dental has some of the most friendly and experienced staff in the area. Kudos! My husband and I followed our Hygienist, to North Island Dental because of her excellent service and professionalism. All treatments and procedures were explained thoroughly along with visuals on a TV monitor for me to see. Already have our return visits booked in six months! Enjoyed my complimentary Milano’s coffee too, for becoming a new patient. See you all then!

Came in as a new patient with North Island Dental and was impressed with the seamless and efficient way they managed my experience from intake to insurance. I can tell this clinic is busy as almost all rooms were occupied with a patient and yet I didn’t feel at all rushed with the experience. I always dread getting cleanings done but this felt like going to the spa. Dr. Bachus was so thorough in explaining what he observed was going on with my teeth and all options to address my clenching. I’ve always let dentists “do their thing,” when it comes to my teeth, but North Island dental made me feel empowered and understand the current state of my dental health. The receptionist and front team were bubbly, welcoming and were great at dealing with my sometimes difficult insurance claims. Looking forward to coming here and working wi th the team again!

Very professional and awesome office. Hygienist communicated each part of my visit wonderfully. Hygienist was also thorough with her cleaning, and it was an excellent experience. Jocelyn Bachus and Dr. Cyrus Bachus have a top notch practice/office, with all the cutting technology. Dr. Cyrus Bachus took time to explain all the x-rays and digital images taken, and ensured there were no underling issues that would need to be addressed. Lots attention paid to details. Highly recommend North Island Dental. Was an extremely positive visit, and look forward to seeing them again.

Not only is North Island dental the most modern and tech savvy dental clinic I've ever seen, the staff is exceptional. I have always had a fear of dentists and even being in the waiting room makes me anxious. At NID I was completely at ease. The young lady, Laura (I think her name is) cleaned my teeth and was very gentle and understanding of my fear. She took my mind off of my fear by being personable and kind. Dr. Bachus is knowledgeable and trustworthy. And Jocelyn Bachus puts you immediately at ease with her professionalism and soothing voice. NID has my 5 star rating and more!

During an emergency pediatric dental situation this week, Dr. Cyrus Bachus was the first dentist we thought to reach out to. Even without notice or an appointment, he took the time over the phone to calmly, kindly and thoroughly walk through the situation with us. He clearly explained what needed to be assessed, and simplified immediate next steps during the stressful event involving our child's dental injury. Not only did Dr. Bachus go above and beyond with amazing support and professional advice, he also followed up by sending us summarized information and visuals which we were able to review and absorb at our own pace. We are so appreciative of Dr. Bachus' guidance, and highly recommend going to see him and his team at North Island Dental.

I am a new patient and I was very pleased with my experience at North Island Dental. I am in need of a crown but was still unsure if it was the best option. Dr. Bachus was incredibly thorough in laying out all the pros and cons of each option and answered all my questions. I could tell how busy the clinic was, but I never felt rushed. I really appreciated this. The reception team was also amazing. They didn't give up on me or my tricky working schedule, and managed to get me an appointment quickly. I feel confident coming here, not to mention how beautiful the clinic is.

What a wonderful experience! After an extended time away from my usual regular checkups, this experience made me very happy! By the time a most professional Hygienist had finished with me I was almost napping. She gave me a "heads up" of what the Dentist would most likely wish to discuss and was very professional including a most personal interaction. The Dentist was very professional too, confirming what the Hygienist had observed along with giving me straight forward answers with no mystification whatsoever. My first visit yesterday was the most friendly and cheerful dental office visit. Jocelyn and front desk staff are efficient and welcoming. Experience with xrays/cleaning was easy peasy, cheers to hygenist (sorry I forgot your name, lovely blonde lady) and Dr Bachus is easy going, ready to be thorough on the review of xrays, and recommendations for non urgent procedures are no pressure.
