Fantastic knowledgable professional service, great many selections of brand names, lots of range of choices and prices. A memorable experience I will never forget. She was able to provide me with an appointment within days unlike the optometrist I usually see. She provides an environment that is fun and stress free, and really knows what’s she’s doing! She really makes sure you are leaving with glasses that are not only best suited for your needs but suits your personality as well! I had never worn glasses and went into a progressive bifocal with prisms. She also made an adjustment within days of receiving my glasses for a better fit. The optometrist is very good one of the best I've seen. But do not buy glasses at that location. They don't have prices listed on them and then try and tell you they have a deal that is not advertised. We looked at glasses and the lady knew I had government insurance, she kept telling us to try on 'high end ' glasses. Once the time to give us a price she seemed to make them up as she went. They charge 80$ just for the lenses and add fees for all these coatings I told her multiple times I was not interested, and she kept insisting that we get all of the coatings. Just two lenses alone came to $360. We decided to leave and look at our options, and sure enough we find the same exact frame for my husband for less than $100 and called around a few places and were told that the lenses would be $80 and that would include the anti-scratch as well as anti glare. If we would have went ahead and ordered from them it would have cost us almost $2,000 four glasses for two people which is outrageous

I usually get my glasses at Axxis Optical. I made the mistake of trying Green Eyes. The proprietor charged me $75 above the ODSP limit for frames ($42 every 3 years if required). These very ordinary frames were advertised at 40% off, but because I am on disability, I do not qualify. Her logic: I'm already getting a "discount". At the very least, Greed Eyes could have honoured the 40% reduction from the $75 out-of-pocket surcharge. My fault, really. I should have stuck with Axxis. Response to you response: WT....? The ODSP payment is NOT a "discount". You received FULL payment for the glasses while I had to pay $75 over the ODSP allowance. You could easily and fairly have given me a 40% discount of the portion I had to pay out of pocket. That would have been a win-win. Instead you took advantage of my disadvantaged situation, and only award discounts to those who are better able to pay. I hope that's clear. Your frames are cheap anyway. A complete waste. I still only wear my old pair from Axxis. You know, the ones you insulted and advised me not to wear in public. Nice!

Bottom line, you don't get what you wanted; you get what "She" thinks you should have. Then when your unhappy with the useless product given to you that you just can't use (because they won't listen to your needs in the first place), she likes to deal in simile's and try to explain how they are not at fault. I'm stuck with glasses I cannot use. Oh, and by the way, if you don't buy expensive frames, there is no warranty.

I recently had an appointment for an eye exam and Dr. Guindon was very professional and courteous. I wasn't sure if I wanted new glasses as my current ones at the time were in bad shape but still holding up, however Sandra helped me find a new pair and I could not be happier! I recommend going there for both the service and the products that they sell. 12/10! ???? P.S. : I tend to be absolutely and terribly picky with the kind of glasses I want and they literally found my pick within 10min! I couldn't be happier.
