Having dealt with Dr Kersten over the past two years, I can honestly say that this doctor is honest, caring, trustworthy and reliable. Our grandson developed a hip disease known as Perthes. Our Family doctor, as well as an Orthopedic surgeon diagnosed our GS as having "just growing pains - one muscle growing faster than another causing turning of foot, pain in knee, , arching of back, limp etc". Not content with prognosis, we decided to take GS to Dr Kersten to help with GS's posture. Dr Kersten immediately had him doing exercises at home, while researching what could be wrong. Dr Kersten wouldn't do any manipulations only until he knew for certain what was going on. He eventually referred him to a colleague in London where immediately he was diagnosed with Perthes! From there Dr Kersten performed appropriate exercises to maintain flexibility while GS waited for hip surgery. I am grateful to Dr Kersten in demonstrating care, concern and professionalism in this matter. He looked after our GS as if he were his own son. THANK YOU DR KERSTEN. HATS OFF TO YOU!
