You know that we don't usually bother to set reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Doctor belongs to the category of Walk-in clinic.
Called for an appointment since CKHA can't give me a family doctor because of the shortage in Ontario. I tried to book with them but they said since I went for a COVID test 4 weeks ago (voluntarily) and even if I tested negative, I can't go. They booked me for a telephone doctor. I thought it would be fine but the doctor never listened to what I was saying and just "wanted to confirm the blood requisition and we'll go from there". I have a disease where I need to be fully checked up not just for CBC, but also my urine, fecal matter, creatinine, and sometimes ultrasound. I can't just be said " go for a blood test" when what I need is a full test. I know this is a walk-in clinic but while Ontario needs to step up, the doctor could have been more "good" and could've just listened to what I was saying before interrupting me and not even listening to a single word I said.
Absolutely the best around- anywhere!! They are so incredibly kind, professional, and quick! I'm always under in and out under 45 minutes! They are amazing with my kids- so sweet to them! I guess it's just so refreshing to be treated like a human being instead of an inconvenience! They have on the spot pharmacy, and can have your prescription ready in minutes! ....We have been coming for years, and are blown away every time by the incredible care that is given here!
I called here to get an appointment yesterday, I was asked a series of questions, was given a time to be there, was asked to be there earlier than the time, I got there at 1045 hours and waited to be called. When I was called, a woman came out to see me, asked for my name, asked me the same questions I was asked on the phone yesterday and asked me to put the mask over my entire face. I told her that I have a medical condition that would cause me to trip out if my face is covered, she told me it's a matter of comfort level and she, not the doctor's office, can't see me. She went back into the room, came back out and said that she will call me on the phone and issue me the requisition form. I don't know if it's because of my complexion or gender why she behaved like this. But when she called me on the phone, she had the audacity to ask me if I'm comfortable having her take my information on the phone. Of course I'm not comfortable giving my information on the phone! I was asked to be there in person and wanted to be seen in person. If they had problems with seeing me or anyone in person, why did they not ask all of their questions on the phone and give me the requisition form after I showed them my Health Card? It would have been the same result. I'm not enjoying this city. I should have stayed where I was. Since I came here, I haven't had good treatment from the public and the people in professional positions.
Poor service, new to Chatham.. I could not locate the clinic.. reached for the appointment 5 mins late .The nurse was rude.. no explanation- I was expected to provide one reason for my visit and that would be discussed with doctor telemedicine. I was disappointed when she closed the door on me after I expressed my frustration. I did not raise my voice for her to behave rudely ..
New to the area and waiting for a family doctor. They were more than helpful and considerate.
My doctors are in Windsor, and I live in the Chatham-kent area. Love the good doctors nurses and physicians. Quick, easy, friendly.
I don't have a family doctor, so tried Good Doctors. The care was excellent, and the communication was superb!! Will definitely recommend this service and will use it again!
This is a telecommunications doctor's office, which means there is no doctor physically at this location. If you come here you will be assessed by a nurse on site and then speak to a doctor via video conference. That being said, I had a great experience at this clinic. There was no wait time when I visited them and the nurses here are very nice and know what they are talking about. The doctor I spoke with was quick and to the point. The only reason I would not come to this clinic is if I needed a doctor to be in the same room as me for a specific reason.
Fast and efficient service. Nurses are excellent. I love that you can make an appointment and not have to wait in the walk-in rotation.
They are available and willing to help when the other doctors around town are not. Waiting times are similar if not better than the others. Why aren't the other Chatham doctors this responsive?
The experience was ok. It is a telecommunication clinic - the doctor is not in the room. That's not much of a problem for me. The place does need some work done on it. There isn't much room, and the space feels thrown together. What really made my visit unpleasant is that the nurse was just itching to hang up on the call.
As others have noted, highly recommend A+++ Great staff, wonderful experience! Thank you for being in Chatham!
Went there this morning loved it
Great environment, efficient, everything you need in one place!
I think my comment pertains to healthcare in general, however, I booked a phone appointment requiring a prescription refill and a skin concern. They addressed the refill, which took 30 seconds and then when I addressed my skin concern, I was told it was one issue per visit. I questioned this, considering I had spent 30 seconds with my previous “issue” and was told that they had over 80 other patients waiting and are overwhelmed, so a nurse would call me back. The one issue per visit rule is questionable considering if my other issue had been more serious, and I was required to book a follow up which the doctor originally suggested, would they not be worried? If Id had chest pains, would that not be addressed? I understand when some patients want to spend upwards of 40 minutes addressing 10 issues, however this practice is unethical in a province where finding a family doctor is nearly impossible.
Minimum input and investment into patient care. If you have a cold or need a doctors note that is all they are good for.
After waiting 30 minutes, she said, "We can't bring you in because you have a cough, knowing that I took the two vaccines, and I don't have a cough. I have sinusitis. If I was 30 minutes late for the appointment, they would have charged for the examination."
Been a few times now want to give some praise for Erin that works there as well as the pharmacy that the clinic is attached to. Each time the staff has been wonderful, friendly, compassionate. Barely any wait time. Once in you get asked a lot of questions to make sure they are connecting you to best doctor available for concerns. Keep up the excellent work.
Fast, efficient and the doctors are so kind. Great experience.
The ladies were all friendly very courteous. Wonderful experience they helped me feel relaxed and at ease. Thank you and i highly recommend them to everyone.
I've had 2 appointments in the last week, I got in right at my appointment time And the nurse was very attentive And thorough With her questions as my appointment progressed, I'm glad I came here cause I feel that I'm finally getting back on track to 100% health!
Would definitely recommend. Erin is extremely helpful, and the doctor was efficient and prompt. Overall good experience.
Excellent professional service. Short wait time and got prescription filled all at same place. Thanks again.
The Worst Doctors! After a quick video chat, my husband was diagnosed with muscle spasms and given 2 prescriptions (muscle relaxer and a narcotic). Turns out it was actually a herniated disk, and since it went untreated, he now needs back surgery. If you're looking for a quick prescription this is the place to go. If you're actually looking for help, save yourself the trouble and find a real doctor.
Your in and out within minits and prescription is right their love going their no more hospital trips.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped me with all my needs
My wife is 7 weeks pregnant with severe morning sickness. We got booked in to The “Good” Doctors, and the nurse was very kind and asked all of the necessary questions. They wouldn’t let me in the room with my wife, despite the fact that the doctor to be seen would be via video conference. My wife gets online with The Doctor, she tells him her symptoms, and asks if she wants to abort the baby?! He continues to be dismissive and telling her that she doesn’t know she’s pregnant, a pregnancy test doesn’t mean you’re pregnant (we’ve been taking tests for 6 months trying to conceive, all were negative until the 2 we took on separate days were POSITIVE. End of the call, he wouldn’t prescribe her with any anti-nausea medication, basically told her she wasn’t pregnant. Later that evening, my wife collapses and convulses and is taken to the emergency and guess what?! SHE’S 7 WEEKS PREGNANT!! We got to see the baby through an ultrasound. She had to be treated with IV and prescribed anti-nausea meds, NO thanks to the Good Doctors. If you’re wishing to be scolded and neglected for the health issues only you are experiencing, but are told otherwise, then the Not-so-good Doctors is the place to be.
I usually do not write any sort of reviews but this comes to the health and well beings of individuals, luckily mine wasn’t severe by any means but here’s the details. Booked an over the phone appointment selected 230pm, didn’t get a call till 4:15ish. Was told they would fax my prescription over to the pharmacy that I chose in a couple of hours… the pharmacy never received anything. I called the doctors office several times to no avail. Finally I get an email back the NEXT day stating they sent it to a a different shoppers. I went in for my prescription only to get home and find out they forgot something (not shoppers, the doctor) It is now nearly 24 hours later, I was told they faxed the proper meds over on several different occasions and I’ve went to shoppers twice to find out they have NOTHING. Don’t waste your time with this “Good Doctors” UPDATE: They got a hold of the doctor who helped me and I picked up the prescription - 10 Reactin pills with no refills. I told the doctor im not seeing success with reactin so he proceeded to prescribe me MORE and 10 only days worth. Thank goodness my seasonal allergies will be gone by then… (sarcasm) Terrible 48 hour experience
Good experience
Good Doctor? Not quite the description I would use, More like Bad Doctor!. My Wife has what she believes is an eye infection of somekind, she booked an appointment for today over an automated system, she was sent the conframation email stating her appointment was today at 3:40pm and it couldn't be canceled or changed. I drive my Wife to Chatham, she arrives 10 mins early, she waits and then hears a 4pm appointment called. She asked the receptionist if she was next as her appointment was 3:40. The Woman working was very rude and tried telling her the appointment was tomorrow, even after my Wife showed the conframation email with todays date and time, The receptionist still rudely dismissed my Wife. I would be very cautious if thinking of attending this clinic! If you do decide to, make sure you call and get a human to confirm your appointment or you could end up S.O.L. hopefully my Wifes eye doesn't get worse as I work tomorrow and can't bring her back, Although that might actually be a good thing. Not a clinic I would recommend!!!!! BEWARE.
