Has been my family doctor for years and I have had nothing but bad experiences. Rushes through appointments...I had booked for him to look at 5 moles and the nurse only booked me in for 3 (for some reason) and when I told Shuster I had 2 more for him to look at he hung his head and said "I don't have time for this"!! Can you believe that! He is always late by 20-40 min for an appointment but scolds you when you are 5mins late. He also charged a patient who is mentally ill and on ODSP for missing an appointment. But when THEY mess up an appointment it's still YOUR fault. The nurse asked me for personal information about another patient. This place has no class! This practice is a joke he is clearly in it for the money and not because he/they care.....he asked me 3 questions and diagnosed me with something a family doctor shouldn't then prescribed me a bunch of pills. I would give this practice a zero if I could. I am currently looking for a new doctor because heaven forbid I ask a question not related to my appointment with Shuster. (You have to book an appointment for the question not related to the appointment your at).... ???? pure frustrating joke!

Impossible to get a hold of. Line always busy, as if they leave the phone of the hook so no one can call. Rushes you through appointments. Wish I could give a 0 star .

Dr. Martin Schuster has been my family physician for over 20 yrs. Last time I saw him was in 2013. I'm never sick. Nonetheless my parents (father now deceased) have seen him regularly. He was at my parents home when my father laid on his death bed. This man shook my hand while we both visited my father. I need a guarantor for a long form birth certificate. Someone who has known me for at least two years. Someone with credibility. So I asked if he would agree to do it. His receptionist call to inform me today that he does not feel comfortable as he doesn't know my birth information. He doesn't need too. They can gather that from the hospital. Then she added that I hadn't been there for a female physical since 2013. Pardon me? I find his behaviour extremely questionable. Dr. Schuster, you are suppose to be there for your patients. Tell me is it because you're not getting paid you don't want to confirm who I am to the Ontario government? You don't have to sign anything. If they call you confirm who I am. A total of 5min of your time is my guess. Would you change your mind if I offer to pay you $20 for such a inconvenience? I will not let this rest easily. This choice you made is a poor representstion of character. As a doctor your character is far more important then that piece of paper that you hold. It is what you do for your patients not what they can do for you that gives you credentials, that earns you respect.
