REVIEWS OF MCI The Doctor's Office 130th & Deerfoot IN Calgary

The clinic requires a phone call before entering. The ONE lady working at the front left me on hold for 16 minutes and 12 seconds and let people that just walked up in that had just called because she claimed that she had no proof of who called first... I then stood at the counter for 10 minutes while she answered the phone and typed into her computer. Very short and disrespectful.

listen to the reviews, the reception there is unbelievably bad. i wouldn’t trust anyone in there whatsoever. this place needs new workers or to be SHUT DOWN

The doctors at this location are really nice and really seem to have it together but the office administration is atrocious. I have been having an ongoing issue. Every time I speak to someone I get a different story. I would think by this point, given all the complications, they they would all sit down together and come up with one story to tell. I STILL can't get a straight answer from them. I asked them why I still can't get a straight answer from them and I was literally told "I don't know". My recommendation is find a better family doctor at another location.

I am absolutely appalled by the service I received from the female doctor. So rude!! I was explaining my symptoms, and she would cut me off after every symptom saying they all meant nothing! She did absolutely no work up . Didn't ask any investigative questions. Nothing! She just made me feel like I was making up all my symptoms. I will never be going back.

This is a great doctors office. They offer both appointments and a walk in clinic. I have been several times with an appointment and have always seen the doctor relatively close to my scheduled appointment. They will follow up with tests and a great and friendly staff. Was able to book an appointment the next day when I needed to.

My daughter was in there lastnight to have the skin around her eyes and neck checked for psoriasis. The doc belittled her and made her embarrased to ask questions so she left feeling upset. I dont recommend this clinic unless you want to feel stupid for asking questions

I walked in at 6:30pm with a gentleman ahead of me talking to the receptionist. She looked at me tells me they are not seeing more patients. I told her I’m not here to see the doctor I’m here to get my result, st**id cow tells me that I have to see the doctor. I said no I don’t need I have been here before and done that a few times it’s a regular checkup. She didn’t even care to ask my name and see if doctor has give them authorization to reveal the result or not. If anyone likes to be treated like a sack of garbage please visit them they are really good at making you feel like cr*p in front of others. Not to mention this cr*p shoot clinic most of the times closes early. I THINK THIS PLACE SHOULD SHUT DOWN AND SPACE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO WHO CARES ABOUT RUNNING THEIR BUSINESS. Receptionist thinks she has right to tell me NO without even asking my name because I’m of colour, that’s how felt.

Horrible experience. I've been sick for over a month and the doctor is trying to help me but so far unsuccessful. He recommended I stay home from work due to side effects from medications I'm now taking and then reception expects me to pay $35 for a note so I don't need to work. Horrible customer service and patient care - if he felt it was important for my health to stay home then he should not be charging me for a note! I understand walk ins or people who ask for a bite having to pay but when a doctor recommends staying home as treatment you should not have to pay. I called and spoke with a manager and after that conversation I don't believe they care for patients at all. Very unempathetic and no understanding for the situation at all.

SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN I needed a urgent prescription for an inhaler I was told I’d have a consultation w the doctor over the phone because of my lung infection and asthma only to have some lady phone me back giving me a prescription for something completely different and didn’t even give me a prescription for an inhaler was super rude and didn’t even remember our conversation — her names ellinor if you can avoid talking to her .

Terrible admin team, poor reflection on the clinic. Turning down sick children because they want to get off work early. In my opinion they are in the wrong profession. I would not recommend you try this walk in. Go to professionals who care.

Staff is helpful and friendly.. Doctors- can'r speak for all of them but Family practice Dr. Ken Evans is one of the best I have had in lifetime. Very friendly and does everything you ask for, He does everything in his power to help me and my family and I am very grateful for that. The coolest thing is I don't have to wait years to get referred to specialist with my health problems or my mother or dad. Very good guy. Who don't plays appointments game. *knocking on wood with hope that he stays the same*

Been going here for 5 years and never had nothing but a great experience

Was in yesterday. Very displeased with the doctor that checked me. I came in with severe pain in my back/chest. Heavy congestion, ear pain and on top of it all, the most painful cough I've ever had (complete with gross, discoloured phlegm) The doctor came in and asked me what was wrong. I told him. He proceeded to listen to my lungs and after listening and chuckling at my cough (breathing deeply causes me to hack my lungs out) he sits down and goes "well, there's no magic wand. Cough syrup doesn't work, just use salt water. There's NO MAGIC WAND." After being spoken to like a child, I just sat there. What the hell could I say? I had to fight tooth and nail for a doctors note because there's no way in hell I'm going into work like this and Being the very generous doctor that he was (after explaining to me that "colds" like this can last up to two weeks) he gave me TWO days off. TWO. It's now day 1 of two and I feel worse than when I went in. On top of everything else, when I reminded him of my painful ear, he did not bother to even check it. He just said "only 5% of adults get an ear infection. It's rare." I left feeling very belittled, and 35$ in the negative. Not happy at all.

Brought 1 year old in that was on 4 days of fleeting fever and developed large raised rash on cheek. Had the displeasure of meeting Dr. Payne and after looking at him for a minute told us to bring him back in 24 hours or go to our family doctor. What exactly was another 24 hours going to do when it's been 4 days already. Didn't bother to look in mouth, ears or any of the other normal area to look for other signs of cause. Glad you get to bill AHS for not actually doing your job. Went to South Health Campus and they properly diagnosed baby. Will be filing a formal complaint.

Michael Parker

took my wife here on xmas eve 2014 severe flu like symtoms doc was concerned and took great care. gave her some heavy antibiotics and said hit emergency if does get better in 4 days...turned out she had H1N1 and we found that out after we did have to go to emergency. he was as thorough as a walk in doc could for such a problem. I have used them a couple times since my family doc is on other side of town, always fast and friendly in my experience.

Zackery Ackerman

went in for the walk clinic, and just got insulted for not having a family doctor. Didn't get any further head. Don't waste your time coming here.

Both times I came here I was denied due to Covid even if I am fully vaccinated because I wanted to get a referral for a pulmonary doctor despite them knowing I have asthma and not Covid. Second time I got denied for having diarrhea. If you have any problems don’t go here they will deny you and tell you to get a Covid test for any problems you have. Both time I had to take transit which was an hour bus.

Dr. Paul was highly unprofessional and useless. I don’t understand how a doctor like her could still have her license. I went there for two reasons- one was about my shoulders. I told her it has been hurting for 4 years and I went to 2 doctors almost about 2 years ago and the last time I went they said it was only muscle pain and gave me meds. Fast forward, the pain hasn’t gone away but has gone worse. I told DR PAUL all this info made me move it around and without even checking or seeing my shoulder, she said and her own words multiple times “I cannot do anything for you come back when it’s bad” Mind you it’s been hurting for a few years. I asked her if she could give me some muscle pain meds then to alleviate the pain and she said to do exercises. Told her I work almost everyday and I move my arm around often. SHE SAID TO TAKE A LEAVE AT WORK. Told her I didn’t have a job for almost 5 months due to covid and it was still hurting! She then again said she can’t do anything since my arm can still move and walked out the room....... So useless. Anyways, I will have to go to another doctor and find some answers. She might be right or wrong, (frankly I wish she is right). If she is wrong, there will be a way to complain. Because I do know that that’s not the way to treat a patient. And judging by the reviews, I wasn’t the only one.

On a Saturday afternoon I noticed my baby boy having yellowish discharge on his ear, so I looked for a walk in clinic to have it checked and found this. "It was an easy wait" We were seen by an elderly male doctor, friendly greetings exchanged. He looked at my baby's ears and said not to worry it's ear wax; should resolve by itself. The next day, I felt something was really wrong on my son's ear so I brought him to the ER. He was seen promptly and was taken blood samples with blood culture. It was Otitis media not ear wax! He was given ear drops and showed improvement in 24 hours. Please avoid this clinic.

Taelor Burke

Usually have had decent-good experiences here but this last time I went in waited for about an hour and when I got in he told me I wasn't sick (when I have been pretty sick for 3-4 days-I would never go in if I didn't think I was sick) so he sent me home without any answers or help. I continued on my no sleep, no voice, sore thoat and all the other symptoms that come with that and now 2-3 days after here I am a lot worse and taking of work, school, getting others sick, and in bed rest...

Emily Lefroy

The ladies at the front are always so kind and in good spirits! They are so fast in getting you in to see a doctor and walk-ins are never a long wait! I'm always impressed when I leave

George

"she needs to think about other people, not just herself, and that she needs to get over her anxiety" friend went to get a medical exemption note, as she needs one for work. They refused to give her one. The doctor told her this. Someone needs to educate the doctors that personal opinions do not interfere with their line of work. lose his license.

Darryl Studiman

Amazing walk-in clinic, quick and not busy. The only place I will visit from now on! Thanks!

Patricia Casajus Owens

I have been there 3 times. Doctors are professional, kind and quick. They explained what I have and why they prescribed that medicine. Reception personnel overall is fine. Only once I arrived at 6pm and the receptionist told me that they cannot take more patients than the ones the doc will be able to see until 7pm I think she wanted to go home on time. If that is really the case, she should switched off the sign "open" but probably she couldn't do that because it was her own decision and not doctor's orders. Overall, good service.

Melanie Lumsden

I brought our 8 year old daughter here for a pain in her chest. While they were not severe enough to warrant a trip to the hospital I did want her to have medical attention. We have a family dr at a different clinic. They would not see her - Its a sign of Covid you know! They wanted to give her a phone appointment. Anyway. I then went to MCI as a walk in patient. Our daughter was seen quickly - within 10 minutes. No long wait. The front reception was friendly and efficient. I was very pleased with the Dr.'s assessment. He did a very thorough palpitation of her abdomen to determine the cause. As it turns out it appears to be a strained muscle. Anyway, this Dr. has relieved both my mind and our daughter's mind - this is nothing serious. This comfort and assessment we received at MCI was also something that our very own family dr. (at another clinic) would not have been able to ascertain over the phone! Thank you MCI - this was 5 star service. You were great.

Courtney Ott

I would give 0 stars if I could. I have never experienced such terrible patient care. I went to walk in for a simple skin issue, checked in - no problem after completing the covid questionnaire. Then the doctor called the front desk to tell her that he couldn’t see me for treatment as they didn’t have the resources. I stated that I just wanted a consultation not a treatment, just wanted to talk to a medical professional. The front desk woman was very abrupt in telling me that the doctor wouldn’t see me for anything at all. No consultation. I was completely confused as to why I couldn’t be seen by a doctor. It has nothing to do with covid as I am not I’ll and this is completely not related. I then asked for the doctors name. She refused to give me the doctors name so I could follow up and come back potentially when a doctor that would see me was there. I was shocked that she REFUSED to give me the doctors name. All I wanted to do was follow up directly because healthcare is a RIGHT. I was refused to be seen and told the doctors name or the front desk woman’s name. Another patient was there and I was ignored to the point that the other customer said to me “she was very unkind to you” This is not how a doctors office should treat ANYBODY. I have never experienced such Unprofessionalism from any office I have ever been to. This is completely unacceptable to be refused medical care for NO REASON.

Quick, kind, empthatic - Dr. Payne and the team at this clinic were great. Thanks!

Terrible people and rude staff. This office doesn’t even deserve one star.I had to wait 1:00 hour past to my appointment to see a doctor and had no answer when I curious and ask about the waiting time. Bad experience!!

Jane Pratt

I usually go to MCI on weekends because my family doctor is not open. Today I arrived for their opening time of 0900. I called them when I was outside as per their policy and spoke to reception who asked what my visit was concerning to which I replied, I hurt my back yesterday at work. I need a note for today (I didn't go to work) and I want to make sure I'm not seriously injured. The reception said "okay, come in, I will open the door". I waited outside the door for about 10 minutes (crying in pain) before the nurse came and told me I was REFUSED by the doctor because they "don't do WCB". I said that I didn't intend to fill out WCB I just wanted to be seen as a walk in to make sure everything is okay and to get a note for work for today. The nurse said, "oh okay, wait here" and went inside. This left me standing outside the door for 5 more minutes and she returned to say, "yeah sorry, even if you don't want to fill it out, WCB will keep harassing the doctor and the doctor today does not want to deal with it". I said, "I know it's not your fault but I don't understand how I can be refused service like this. Can you please provide me with documentation on why I am being refused today so that I can make a complaint. At this point I'm crying even more because my back is so painful while standing so the nurse tells me to come inside and sit down while she submits a complaint for me. I asked for a copy of the complaint. She obliged and brought me a copy which basically said that they told me I would not be seen by the doctor because the doctor doesn't do WCB. So I said, that isn't really my complaint that's just you documenting a portion of what I was told. She said "I'm sure you can find another walk in". I left the office feeling pretty devastated at being turned away but luckily I found another walk in that said it was no problem to see me and found it odd that I was refused at all by MCI. The doctor found that I have likely pinched a nerve or herniated a disc in my spine. After leaving the compassionate doctor's office, I noticed that I had a voice-mail from a random woman (office manager maybe?) who left a long message saying that it's the doctor's prerogative whether or not to take WCB cases etc. I did not call her back and will not. I will not be returning to this clinic. I am a nurse who hurt her back moving a very sick patient, I loved getting treated so poorly when I was the person needing help.

Great family doctor service. Walk-in is also good. It's usually not busy around 1pm for Walk-in

I went here today to see a doctor for walk-in (I have an inflamed fingertip.) The doctor (Dr. Paul) glanced only perephrially at my finger at a single angle, and did not physically examine my finger (nor the rest of my hand) for other warning signs. She immediately began writing the prescription without even asking me about the duration, nor what (if anything) had preceded the inflammation. She asked only if I had an allergy to one substance and did not ask if I was currently taking other medication. Dr. Paul then handed me a prescription for a broad-spectrum antibiotic which is unusual to use as a first choice for skin infections, and at a dose that seemed rather high for my current symptoms. She didn't mention anything else I should do for treatment in addition to taking the medication. I discovered later the prescription she had given me had someone else's health information printed on it instead of mine, though the drug was correct. I returned immediately to the clinic to surrender the other person's prescription, and request one with my own information on it. A correctly labelled prescription was given promptly, but I don't think I'd feel confident about seeing that doctor again.

Mark Richards

Worst experience I've ever had at a Dr. Office.. Don't waste your time.. I seen the dr. Ashalatha Paul.. Was rude and barely even looked over me.. made up expenses.. Won't waste my time again..

Nick Simmering

went in to get some documents filled out for disability. not only did they try to charge me $75 for filling out 2 simple pages, the doctor refused to fill them out. i asked why the doctor refused and they would not give me an answer. i have been there multiple times and i expressed how i need these forms filled out as it is my only source of income while disabled and they did not seem to care. very unprofessional. will be going to another clinic where they only charge $40 and do not make up BS excuses

Michael Efeduma (Mikelo)

Worst experience I have ever had. Been having pain for months and tried to explain to the doctor who is an older Indian lady but she cut me off a few times and dismissed my concerns. She didn't let me get a word in and at the end, walk out on me

Acadienne 22

I don't care how "dead" you are if you say you close at 7 for walk-in, the doctor does not go home until 7. That way when you come in with a baby with an ear infection at 5:45 you don't get sent away! Completely unprofessional!

Richard Tanner

Excellent family Doctor! They have been our family Doctor for 8 years and can not write a complaint even if there was one. From the time we make an appointment we never wait more then a couple of hours to see our Doctor and have never waited in the waiting room for more then 5 minutes. We have two small girls and they're very fast and professional while always putting a smile on my children's faces. Will be our Doctor for life.

Lu

Don’t waste your time at this walk-in clinic. I went because I had abdominal pain and the doctor told me that because of the location I might have fractured my ribs and he ordered an x-ray (which I thought it was really odd since I haven’t had any type of injury). Of course, X-rays were fine. I asked if I could have an ultrasound done as the pain has been there for more than 3 weeks and he told me that it wasn’t necessary, he said “It would be a waste of health care money” and he said I should just wait a couple weeks more to see if I get better, if not “go see your family doctor” Like are you serious? So unprofessional and careless. He basically refused to provide care and follow up my case.

Leona Nesdoly

HORRIBLE experience. Went to the clinic yesterday because I had a rash all over my body. Dr. Didn’t know what it was he didn’t think it was contagious. Sent me for a blood test right away told me that he would call me as soon as he got the results, if not today tomorrow for sure. A day later and the office is now closed still no results still have a bad rash and not treated.

Karsten Dalberg

I have always been happy to go there, I never have had to wait for more then 5 minutes. This morning I was 15 minutes early at the Walk-In clinic, and they called me in 5 minutes before they opened up.

Cassandra Habermeyer

Awful. To call them negligent would be too kind. I brought my then 9 month old in as he was very fussy after a fall from the sofa. I brought him into to the walk-in explaining he was just getting over Norovirus but he had fallen and it was since the fall that he had been whimpering when he moved. The doctor came into the room and stood at the door, didn’t approach him, didn’t even touch him and said he was crying because he was dehydrated and to stop breast feeding and only give Pedialyte (???). I felt like she was wrong but I followed her instructions that night. Over night I saw that he wasn’t rolling over like normal, couldn’t use his one arm and cried whenever I touched it. Took him to the Children’s Hospital first thing in the morning. He was just in his diaper when the doctor came in the room, and as soon as he saw him said he very clearly had a broken collarbone. He could physically see that it was broken collarbone as soon as he walked in (it was confirmed with an XRay as well). It’s been several months and I still get so angry that the doctor was too useless to even attempt some semblance of an examination on my son and he had to suffer with an obviously very painful break for much longer than he needed to. DON’T GO HERE.

Ariel Nichols

Absolutely positive there are no actual doctors in this clinic. Just off paid monkeys. Don’t waste you time at this location

Enya

Busy place but still gets me in fast. Walk in doctor is great, very kind and thorough. Always go there when I can't get into my family doctor.

Marilyn Fernandes

I developed a reaction after my covid vaccination and was asked to visit a doctor in 24 hours. I called MCI for walk inn I was told by the reception to come inn and that they were open.. when I arrived the receptionist tells me that they were full...why cant they be more organized and book a slot ..I called and asked bfr I came..

Amanda Robichaud

I have had really bad experiences at most places around Calgary but this one is always great. To me anyways! Longest wait was 40 minutes. And I can walk there. The staff is also friendly. No issues and would recommend :)

Katie Androsoff

Nice to see that the hours o line aren't the same as the ones posted on the building. And they don't accept walk ins. BS

Deb Patton

Never have I felt so dismissed by a doctor. Rude. Won't go back!

Bre Last

I have come in a few times for walk in because it’s close to home. Sometimes I’m in within 10 minutes, other times there is a bit of a wait, but what I always appreciate is the girls are the front are always friendly and give me a basic idea how long the wait will be. The doctors have been helpful and informative and I have always left feeling well taken care of.

N

This has been one of the worst experiences I've had at a walk in clinic. Initially went in for bad cough and was told I had bronchitis. Was given antibiotics. After 10 days of antibiotics I went back as my cough had not improved at all and was now having other problems. Dr. Spent less than 2 minutes looking at me told me it was a residual cough and to 'suck it up'. So I left without anything. A week later when I was now having difficulty breathing went to a different clinic and was told I have pneumonia. Walk in Dr never thought to do an x-ray or full exam. And I have now been sick over a month and am just starting to recover. I would never go back here.

Parker Henry

The reception was friendly, she said it will be 40 min wait which was fine. I waited for 1.5 hours which was annoying but I didn't care much cos I could finally get my medicine. I've had a sore throat for 3 days with inflamed tonsils, my girlfriend went to another clinic, the doctor checked her ears, throat, her breathing, her spleen and her temperature. He swabbed her throat for strep, sent it in and gave her a prescription just in case it came Back positive. I went in wanting antibiotics because I have been kissing my girlfriend and I have all the symptoms as her. The doctor started touching my neck and checking my ears all without gloves on. He told me after simply touching my theory and checking my ears he said I do not have strep. I told him my girlfriends throat swab came back positive and asked politely if he could give me antibiotics or even just swab my throat to be positive. He said he doesn't need to because I don't have it and hinted for me to leave. I left so upset with the pure laziness and I professionalism I got treated with at this clinic. Not to mention the wait. I went back to the clinic my girlfriend went to and guess who tested positive for strep. Me. I saw the doctor at MCI on a Friday and since he denied a sick man medicine I couldn't go in until Monday to see another one. Please do not go here. The doctors are lazy and don't care about you. They think they are smarter and can tell more than tests. My doctor was the old European man. Tell him to wear gloves and keep his dirty hands off me!!! 0/5 if I could.

Doug Doug

Went in for back pain, was told I was having extreme back spasms. Gave me a prescription for muscle relaxers. The very first pill I took, messed me up so bad I thought I was having a heart attack, my co-workers wanted to call 911 but I elected to have them drive me home, healthlink told me to throw the pills out immediately and if I get any worse, call 911. After reading the reviews on here, I’m amazed AHS hasn’t launched an investigation into this doctors office. I wondered why when all other walk ins closed at 5pm on a Saturday, they’re open till 7. It’s because they need the business, not a lot of return customers.

Mandy Aimoto

Website says it open until 4 on weekends and holidays, phone message says it open until 3, but I call at 1:45 and they tell me they are closing at 2 because the doctor wants to leave soon... so I show up at 1:55pm and they don't offer me services. The nurse/receptionist said she tried for me which was nice, but I guess hours of operations mean nothing...

Roxanne Burlie

I went to the this clinic yesterday hoping to seek medical attention for my strep throat. I've had strep before so I knew my symptoms. I've been there before no issues but yesterday I was turned away from the office receptionist without seeing a doctor. She thought I had corona. I have no cough or runny nose. Very unprofessional. You're NOT allowed to refuse medical care to patients. Will not be going here again.

Samantha D

This doctors office is the worst I have ever been to, and its such a shame because the location is perfect. I recently moved to Calgary, and have been looking for a family doctor. After calling around I found out that Dr. Evans was accepting new patients. I booked an appointment for myself and my husband to meet the doctor and get a physical lined up. At our first meet and greet, we were treated normal, decent wait time, and were asked all the right questions. The doctor ordered our blood work and wished us a good day. Upon my return after my blood work, I got out of my truck, and stepped onto a sheet of ice that was their parking lot, slamming my back into my running boards of my truck. After picking myself up and going into the office, I told the receptionist about it while checking in, and she shrugged it off, saying she thought it was the London Drugs' responsibility. When getting into speak with the doctor, I wanted to discuss a weight issue I have always struggled with, and have finally given up finding my own remedies, but wanted medical input into the right things to be eating/ doing. I have been clean eating (all organic fruits/ veg/ proteins/ nothing processed or refined etc) for a year, and nothing was helping, so it was time to seek more assistance. I went in for my follow up and he told me that my labs all came back healthy, but that I was beyond help with my weight, and that surgery was my only option. I explained that surgery seemed a little invasive to me... that I was hoping there would be other options to try before it got to that point, but he refused to listen. He told me that I was uneducated on what the surgery options were (although I have done extensive research and have many in my group of friends that have undergone several different surgeries that he had tried to convince me of). I walked out of his office so offended by his lack of effort, his rude and callus demeanor and his blatant disrespect. It shocks and appalls me that there are still doctors out there that are so belligerent to patients seeking help and wanting to find a solution, not a quick fix. I refuse to go back to this office, and have since found an amazing doctor at New Brighton Medical. I typically do not write negative reviews, but in this case, doctors like the ones at this office, need to know that their attitude and dismissive nature will not be tolerated.

Chris Hanson

Awful, rude and dismissive reception. Using web MD to misdiagnose yourself would be more useful than that staff.

I had a strange experience when I came here yesterday. It wasn't the clinic per say, but the particular doctor that I saw. I popped in here yesterday to get a referral to a dermatologist. I was walked into the doctor's office almost immediately. There was a long wait in there - about 25 minutes. I didn't get the name of the doctor that I saw, but she was an elderly lady. I told her I needed to get a referral to a dermatologist due to changes in my moles that I've noticed. She said I should go to my family doctor. Eventually, she said "I will get a referral for you" and she left the room. I waited - 5 minutes, then 10 . I was starting to feel like she had forgotten about me. I even looked at the screen they use and noticed it was still up and running so I thought she'd be back in, maybe it's just taking her longer than usual. About 15 minutes go by. Next thing, there was a knock on the door and it was one of the administrative ladies surprised that I was still there. I told her I was waiting for the doctor to come back - that she had just left and not said anything other than "I'll get that for you" and shut the door behind her. She told me that was not the first time that doctor had done that. That particular doctor needs to work on her manner with patients.

Fabes 1985

Went in for a blockage in my ear as a walk-in. The wait time wasn't long, the doctor came in and figured out the problem. Came back and flushed my ear. Haven't heard this good in years. Great place with a large and nice waiting room.

Ashley Pelletier

"Open until 7pm walk-in clinic" I get there to see a sign that they are at full capacity. Noone is inside. If you are not open until 7pm do not list that you are, please and thank you.

Shay Mb

This doctors office is very unprofessional , rude, and makes no sense how they do things. They will not help you at alll ..and becuase ive lived around here ive gone here multiple times thinking it was just the one doctor.......wonder why it has so many bad reviews ??? Reception is just as bad as the doctors.......this place neeeds to GO . Just go some where else !!! The old male doctor has no common sense and will only do everything is way and when he wants it done no matter what your concerns are or how your life or schedule is . Worst place ive ever been.

This clinic is amazing. I have been here 4 times and the waiting time is always between 10 and 20 minutes. The staff is very polite and always want to help. I recommend to call first to ask for the waiting time or you can use the app.

My understanding of this new "Restriction exemption program" was that health services were out of scope and not allowed to discriminate against patients. This clinic is.

Dr Payne is amazing!!! Our family is forever grateful for your always amazing care!!!! Thank you!

One of the best clinic in the city. It is always available for walkin and the staff is very helpful. Call before going there, now with Covid the door is locked.

I have been now for over a year under Dr Kalala's care and must say that I am in good hands. Best care I have received in years! Even as a walk-in patient do I always feel well looked after by the other Doctors on call. I find the staff at the office friendly and efficient. I am very grateful to have the Doctors Office in my area and can only recommend it to anyone who asks.

I used to love this office but it’s getting bad. This is now the second time I’ve arrived before closing time but they have the doors locked and there are people in the waiting room. I’m gett the impression that they care more about leaving on time then helping patients.

Doctor didn't care, was more interested in ending their shift than caring for my child. Will never go there again.

I came in late Sunday afternoon with severe urinary tract pain. I was terrified as 5 days previously I'd been hospitalized for kidney stones. From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor I was treated with very fast efficient and empathetic care. I will return and make this my regular doctor's office

The first 2 times I took my son to this clinic we saw and older male doctor. He is great in my opinion, which is why Im still giving 3 stars. Yesterday I took my son there and the doctor had no idea what she was doing, she sat on google asked me lots of questions I thought she should know, including weather or not they can runs certain test on a 2 year old...Like I would know that?? Then she was going to send him for blood work, and talked to the nurse and decided to just swab the OUTside of his cheek. What a waste of time for us, and now Ill have to make an appointment to go to a real doctor.

I went here to simply receive birth control and Dr.Melenchuk said that he was not going to give it to me because "I don't know enough and it would take to much of his time". The entire time I was spoken down to in a condescending manner. I'm very unhappy with the doctor and his actions.

I wish I could give it a zero. I'm a first year university student that suffered from a horrible virus the previous week and had an assignment due this week. As I was sick and found it hard to make it through 9 hour days of class let alone work on the project on my own time at the school (the project only worked on the UofC computers), my prof offered me an extension via valid doctors note. Doctor Melnechuk printed off the most poor excuse of a note verifying that I "was apparently ill" but he has "no way of verifying the illness" as I got the note and the EXTENSION itself after I was sick (he was very rude about it too). The note was so vague and was a single sentence long. After having no other choice but to pay the $35 for this note, my prof doesn't believe I was sick because the note sounds like the doctor doesn't think i was sick. Very Upset

The desk staff is nice, the wait time less then few minutes (today it wasn't even one minute), Dr.Payne is very helpful and patient (same like others, but I met him mainly). I am coming here from one up to several times per year with different subjects for last 6 years and this is my experience every time.
