I'm really surprised with the negative reviews on the doctor's in there. I'm going to this clinic from 2016 and I never had an issue with the doctors. The receptionist might need a bit more training in customer service. In general results,the clinic is clean, efficient and inviting. Dr Budai is the best on my opinion.

There is an Chinese lady who has glasses who is an MOA there who has the most terrible customer service. All she did was complain about how hot the waiting room was and then was telling patients to leave. Absolutely terrible, no one wants to come to the doctors office in the first place, let alone hear the staff complaining. She also yelled at one customer while I was there, good job lady yell at your patients.

Dr. Balint Budai was unprofessional and unhelpful, from shaming to speaking about his experiences with other patients with me. He didn't use names but it was inappropriate. I felt unheard in our interactions and I walked out feeling considerable worse than I did going in. Warning for all those going to the clinic for mental health related concerns to get referrals or advice etc. Dr. Budai seems to be untrained in trauma sensitive approaches and has outdated ideas on these topics. My concerns were simultaneously minimized and catastrophized. If you go to him for a sprained finger or something, I'm sure it would be fine. Otherwise, I'd go to a different doctor.

I booked an appt for 11:50am and did not get in until 12:40pm, only after expressing clear frustration. Reception would slot walk-ins ahead of appointments. That said, the doctor was professional.

As a walk in clinic the superstore medical centres serve a basic function and the doctors have been efficient and amicable. However I Waited 3 months for a haematologist referral, even called the office twice after the first month to check they had made the request, to which the reply was that they were still waiting for a response. Got a call now reminding me I have an appointment on tuesday which is the first I’ve heard of any appointment, apparently they ‘left a message’. Why can’t you hold the appointment until the client confirms?? Or make sure they got the message? Im sure it’s busy, but this is kind of important. Now I have to wait another 2 months since I can’t change my work around at such short notice.

I had my appointment with Dr. Balint Budai and he is such a friendly, knowledgable doctor. I didn't feel being rushed at all and he took his time to check me and make sure I am comfortable. The guy deserves to be my family doctor!

Reception: I will give 0 star if I could. A short lady with glasses was not proper as receptionist! NO smile at all, NO eyes contact when talking with patients. It was a joke assigning her in that position. Dr. Philip Lloyd-Jones: NEVER be his patient, if english is not your 1st language. He's kind of racists if you asking him to repeat his question. Even though he is an elderly man with a low, trembling voice. He failed to control his temper. When he checked my 2yo daughter, he was coughing without cover in front of her face. It was another joke for a doctor professions, which they should help people, yet instead intimidating people.

Oh well, what can I say? I should have read the reviews before heading to this clinic. I waited 45 mins for a 5 minutes check up! The Dr's attention was super robotic, she just couldn't care less. You are only allowed to ask about "1 problem only" The staff clearly hate working at this place and some of them barely speak English. I don't recommend visiting this clinic you don't receive "human compassionate attention" here

I've always had a great experience here with almost no waiting time (I usually go around 4pm in the afternoon on weekdays after work). I have found the doctors to be much more helpful than the last few clinics I have been to, and you can make appointments ahead of time online which is super convenient.

I had the worst experience ever, the doctor who attended me Dr. Balint Budai did not provide me with an ideal diagnosis. The doctor’s behaviour was too casual. I came in with a stomach issue, which was a prolong issue that I have been facing, instead the faculty there said they don’t know what’s wrong with me and I should just wait for the GI specialist to attend to me. They left me more worried than I was before. Also told me to take medication without any specification of how long I should be taking or what doses I should be consuming. Worst doctor ever. Will never ever go back again

this is my first visit to south van medical clinic. I booked an appointment online which I was on time for and it has been 30 min and counting before anyone has seen me. I am sitting the the patient room as we speak, have been alone in here for 8 min. this clinic is a joke, I have never felt so uncared for at a health clinic before. AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO WAIT. *update* I am still sitting in the patient room waiting for somebody to recognize I am in the building. been sitting in solitary confinement for about 17 min and counting.. my appointment was for 40 min ago.

terrible. avoid this place like the plague. because if you actually had the plague they would perscribe you expensive drugs to take daily for the rest of your life. essentially just covering up the problem. they have miss diagnosed myself and my spouse on 3 occasions. if my girlfriend wasnt a nurse she literally could have died if we didnt follow up and go to the hospital where the doctor there told us the perscription from this place was virtually useless. if you value your health and your life go somewhere else. the epitomy of the dreadful state of healthcare in this country. *mic drop

FYI - doctors here will NOT provide you as a patient of that Doctor any "refills" via the store's pharmacy (in the same store...) ability to send a fax or notification to that Doctor (upstairs) to refill. The Doctor's here INSIST you first visit them to obtain a "refill" of your regular medication. Why? So that they, the Doctor, can BILL you (via the BC Medical Plan) "everytime you vi$it". It'$ all about them milking the $y$tem. Dr.G is a good example. They dont make enough $$$ so they bypass the loophole by demanding you make an appt first before refilling. What a sweet deal for these voodoo drs.

Dr. Lloyd-Jones is extremely rude, stand off-ish, and doesn’t care about patient needs. He completely ridiculed my opinions, when it’s my own health I’m concerned about. I expressed how I have depression, and certain medications effect that.. and he continued to be demeaning, laughed, and called it “bull”. He was extremely disgusting to me over the phone with his attitude. The second we got off the phone for our consultation, I began crying so hard because of how little this “doctor” made me feel. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS IF YOURE LOOKING FOR MEDICAL ADVICE!!!

This clinic is great. The office uses modern technology. The waiting area is large and open with lots of seating. Love the convenience of booking a same day appointment online and provides up to the minute availability times. I recommend for all the 1 and 2 star ratings, to call ahead or go online to the website and book an appointment. You are only taking a gamble by walking in and expecting to see a doctor immediately. What do you expect? It’s a walk-in clinic and there is tons of other people doing the same thing you are, that’s why the wait can be so long some days. You are not the only person out there wanting to get in to see a doctor. Keep this in mind the next time you need to see a doctor whether it be at South Van Med or any other walk-in clinic.

Went in on March 10 for a knee injury, Doctor didn't even examine it. Asked me a few questions and asked what I thought it was. Told me it probably just needs to heal. I told him I was concerned my ACL surgery may have been compromised and I can't walk without crutches, should'nt I have an MRI to know what is wrong, he said fine Ok, now, 4 months later I call the MRI centre and they tell me there has not been any requisitions. So bad. Half my year wasted by an uncaring, unprofessional Doctor.

the doctors are helpful here but I must say the online booking and over the phone booking is terrible. First of all the online booking only accepts certain browsers, so on my phone I couldn't book through chrome or firefox. So I had to find a desktop to book online. Second of all if you call in they only have certain time slots available that aren't the same availability online which i find concerning. Because it should be a live booking service. I'm not sure why they did that. Overall, poor service for what you really need as simple as booking an appointment.

Super quick help from the front staff for a condition that developed in the past 24 hours. Easy time booking an appointment on the site. Reception had me in and out quickly. Dr Wang was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Let me know my options and talked me through my concerns. Explained it in a way that made sense. Good experience overall, in and out in about 15 mins!

I have had two experiences here, one with my son and one for myself. Both times we met very friendly, receptive doctors. I also did not find the staff at reception to be rude. Keep in mind that they are not there to ensure you have a wonderful day, they are there to handle the doctors' business and maintain efficiency. The time I went for myself, I had tried to make an appointment online, but probably just failed due to lack of completing the requirements. Although this set me back on arrival, another doctor was available immediately. Both experiences were very positive.

DONT GO THERE. no wonder they got 2 stars, they don't even deserve it. I went there to see the doctor and I told them I skip the class to see the doctor so technically I'm not absent! I just skip class to make the appointment. I asked them to write me one simple sentence ( this patient was here today) that's it !! guess what!! they consider this as note ! they ask me to pay 20 $ for this ! I didn't ask for a day off! I went to get check up as well as medical record to see if I can safely get back to work. The Doctor didn't even tried to check me up for even a blood pressure. Even was charge 30 dollars for a piece of paper that I was not even checked up on. Very unhappy!

Very very Bad service, the one receptionist Katherine was so rude and denied my husband cause of his health card. We will be sending a complaint in the mail. She wasnt welcoming and neither was the other receptionists after she denied him and my husband was clearly sick. Never ever have i seen a clinic deny a sick patient. So many receptionists work in the healthcare in bc and are so miserable and mean...they should be screened least twice a year. Thats 3 clinics in 1 year here and the receptionists all have bad customer service skills and seem like they hate there jobs. Something needs to be done. The more people that report staff like this, the more things will get done. Not impressed!!!!

Got an injury while at work just 2 blocks away, came in and didn't have my care card on me, but I did have my number. The receptionist was quite rude and dismissive, I felt as though she was judging me because of my appearance (dirty in work clothes!). I left, and won't return here.

This used to be a good place to go, when they first opened. Now, avoid it at all costs unless it's a medical emergency and your only other option is the hospital.... Better yet, just go to the hospital. They have stopped caring about patients, and have starting looking at them as nothing but a paycheck. After wasting months of my life trying to get a diagnosis of an illness and SOME form of compassion and understanding, I went to another clinic (this place charged me $60 for them to copy and paste my medical records on to a CD and hand it to me personally. They even screwed that up and gave me a blank disc, and refused to do anything other than force me to come back to the clinic and get another CD. No refund or discount for wasting my time) and my quality of life shot RIGHT and I got a diagnosis within a week. This place takes the adage "physician, heal thyself" way too literally and apply it to their patients to their detriment

Yes hated it, I was wondering how people giving them four and five stars. Am was visiting from last three years every time even after making appointment I have wait for hour or more. Today I made appointment again and I after waiting hour when I talk to front desk people they said three more people ahead me. More over they have cancelation fee too. very friendly receptionists, but the doctor was kind of rude. They probably know what they were doing but a smile won't hurt anybody. I hope not all the doctor there are like the one I met today. If a patient is asking a lot of questions, it's probably because they're concerned, and plus I don't think 5 mintues was that long. I will update this after a few weeks to see if my condition gets better with the prescription that I got.

Even on a Sunday morning, it looks like if you book an appointment in advance and show up 20+ minutes before the scheduled time, you might finish and get the help you need really quickly. My toddler and I went in at 9:10 to make sure he gets to see a doctor at the 9:40 appointment that I booked earlier this morning. In light of some recent terrible 2 hour waiting experience from another walk in clinic on Fraser Street and the previous reviews of this one, I did what I could to avoid the same experience this time. But to my pleasant surprise the receptionist actually took me in right away (after somone else's cancellation) and the doctor came in at 9:20. He checked my son thoroughly and help us with my son's 2 week wheezing by prescribing actual medicine and a nebulizer instead of telling us to get a nasal bulb or use the nasal spray (which is what other doctors told us). He even said kindly that we can come back if the symptoms worsen. Overall, this turned out to be the best walk in/booking experience I had in the South Vancouver area.

The doctors here are simply a bunch of idiots. I had high fever, and during my first visit I was prescribed some antibiotics and was recommended to have blood tests done. Results came out and I was diagnosed with Typhi or Typhoid. So I got a call from the clinic after a couple of days to see the doctor again to get the changed prescription. The blood report clearly stated which THREE ANTIBIOTICS would work for me, the ones my body was sensitive to. But instead of prescribing those, I was put on a different antibiotics course (10 days), which was of course not even going to work. Obviously my fever wasn't going down at all and I was feeling terrible. Finally I had to be hospitalized for IV Antibiotics for 5 days. Even the doctor at the hospital said that I had been prescribed completely wrong medication. I hadn't had to go through all this trouble if these idiots had done their job properly. Avoid if you can.

Never go to this clinic. The worst customer service ever! They call me to come in and a person is in front of me waiting to be seen. I tell them I will be there 10 to 13 minutes max. I get there in 13 minutes and they tell me “sorry Dr. Just left”. Knowing I’m on my way?! Plus it just looks unclean outside and in. Go elsewhere! I think these 5 star reviews are paid reviewers.

I just went here at 3pm on a Thursday..the front staff was super friendly and told me about a 10min wait. I was in the Drs office within 5mins and the Doctor was there within a couple minutes. She was also helpful and friendly. I would recommend an appointment during their peak times, but I've been here several times now and never had a negative experience.

This large modern clinic has a lot of doctors rotating and is well staffed. There is also a website where patients can book an appointment (however once a patient arrives for the booking there still is an inordinate wait time - therefore the 2 star rating). It is best to call ahead and see if the clinic is busy and forego booking in advance. This is a very convenient location within Superstore. Plenty of surface parking and bus service accessible.

I had been in this clinic before and that’s why I took my 5 y.o. nephew there when he was in pain while he was visiting us with his family. They had to pay $200 to be seen (so far, this is the normal price for who has no medical care here). The doctor who saw him, Dr. Balint Budai, is the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. He was rude, insensitive and greedy, totally unprofessional. He first gave an incomplete report for the insurance company (missing the ICD) and wanted to charge $200 to see the child again two days later when he was just requested to add the code on the report. The mother had to argue with him and then he charged her $50 to do a complete report, even though it was his fault. No other doctor has ever done that to any of my family and friends. He should not be a doctor!!!

Catherine at the front desk basically called me stupid and laughed!!! After trying to cancel my appointment the day before it was scheduled and being told I had to do it online because it was booked online (first off seems like a terrible system), I then asked how this could be done from a mobile phone and was told you can't from some phones and that it needs to be done from a desktop. Needless to say, I didn't have access to a computer at the moment, so I called back the next day and was told by the lovely Catherine "I don't see why you can't figure it out" "everyone else can, it's so simple" as she continued to laugh at me. I have worked in customer service and that condescensious attitude would not be tolerated. Horrible customer service. I can only hope her boss reads this. I am beyond frustrated! Normally I have a decent experience at this clinic, and some of the doctors are actually really lovely. I guess I wasn't as stupid as you thought, I figured out how to write this review about you.

I've been a patient for 2 years and never had a problem until now. They have hired a new secretary who is completely and utterly disrespectful. I called to book an appointment because I am unable to book online. When she picked up, I told her I wanted to book an appointment. She told me in a very rude tone to go book on online. When I told her my reasoning for having to book over the phone she said fine but I have to put you on hold. She then put me on hold then pick the phone up right away. In a irritated attitude she "I told you to stay on hold why did you call back". I was confused because I was on hold and before I could tell her she put me back on hold. After 30 minutes of waiting patiently I decided to actually call back. By this time she was very aggravated and said fine I'll book you an appointment. when we were discussing the times she asked me to hurry up and because there are four people in line in front . I simply asked her what times are was available after 3 p.m. she gave me a time that was too late and I asked her what was the earliest time between the two and that's when she snapped at me.

Had a phone consultation. Never received a call or any warning. I could have made other plans. They are strict with their cancelation policy, but you know punctuality works both ways. Only heard good things about Dr. BUDAI, I hope he opens his own clinic one day and set a good example how Healthcare should be. No wonder more and more people are distrustful against the health industry, because of clinics like these. No standards, no respect or any care for the poor people. I have been here a few times as a last resort and not once was I satisfied with the service. Absolutely horrible, especially their online booking system is completely useless. They don't even try to honor your time slot reserved online. One time I had to wait over an hour and a half before I was able to see the doctor, and that was with making an appointment beforehand. While I was waiting in the room, I could just hear chatters from the doctor next door. What a complete waste of time. If they don't take their booking system seriously then why have it at all? I would have given this place a zero star if I could.

Really poor reception services. Spoke to myself and family with great condescending tone, when we asked about how the sick note works. The doctor did not say we needed to pay. We actually caught the note needed a stamp and we went back. There was no reason for the attitude that the MLA gave us. Especially so when there was a clinic policy posted up that disrespectful actions were not tolerated. Both myself and my family are health care providers working with people of similar situations if not worse. Health care is stressful and under appreciated I know, but the MLA is truly out of line. If possible for those that read this, if there was another clinic you can go to go there instead and or even a primary urgency care clinic.

I love their working hours (also weekends) and online booking system and there are so many doctors that someone is available all the time. I have been there for back pain, ankle pain, allergies and others and the doctors have always empathised and treated with medication that gave me relief. I see Dr. Hafez and Dr. Lloyd-Jones. I once saw Dr. Budai. They are all great. I love the convenience of it being next to a Superstore.

I would NEVER recommend this clinic to anyone. Going to the clinic isn’t something I like doing to begin with. Now with the new reception staff that has been hired it is absolutely intolerable. I’ll begin with my experience today. I’m running a very high fever due to eating a peanut which I am very allergic to. Early this morning I booked a 2:30 appointment. Around 2 I get ready to leave and realize my car won’t start. In a scramble I go online and see that I am unable to switch my appointment time. No problem! Next I call in. I try to explain my situation and nicely ask if I can change my appointment to the later 6:30 time I see STILL available. She doesn’t listen to a word I say and responds with “cancellations are to be made 6 hours prior to an appointment please go online and book for another day” I re explain that I need to come in today and there are still times available. She tells me “someone else will take that appointment and I should just come another day” feeling very frustrated I hung up. This may not seem like the biggest concern when it comes to a doctors office but I feel like your reception staff are the first impression your customers see. To have people that are so impersonal and rude turns me off. There has been multiple times that I have sat in the waiting room and listened to one receptionist in particular (an Asian women, sorry I am unsure of her name. Possibly “Winnie”?) 1) speak down to your customers coming in 2) turned people away because they didn’t use the online service 3) complained about her job with a room FULL of patients. As a patient myself that has just sat and been quiet. I feel like it’s finally time to voice how I feel. Clearly by reading through the other comments I’m not the only one that has had AWFUL customer service at this location. Sad because a few of your doctors are very nice and knowledgeable. if it wasn’t made to feel like I was a waste of time I would continue going here. Unfortunately when I called back to voice my concerns I was told to write them on a piece of paper and bring it in as she is very busy. Ill be happily finding a new clinic.

This place is a scam and a business. All the doctor cares about is money. They have no interest in helping people and making people's lives better. They have no ethical concerns for helping patients or in performing their oath as a doctor to help people. We came here at 1:45 pm on a Sunday and the doctor said he would not see us for 5 minutes so we could get a prescription for antibiotics because the doctor wanted to go home at 2 pm. The doctor did not want to spend 5 minutes of their time to help us and give medicine. These doctors think they are God and turn away people in need. These doctors are scammers and only care about money. All they do is make $100 an hour or more from the government and then spend that money on buying real-estate in Vancouver and jacking up the prices. That's all these bloks do, buy real-estate as a doctor.

I am quite surprised with all the negative reviews. I've visited this clinic multiple times starting in 2016 (with my most recent visit being this month) and have never had a bad experience. I really love their online booking and their hours - which make it easy for someone who works 9-5 to go in without missing work. During my visits here, I've interacted with Dr. Budai, Dr. Wang, and Dr. Sturwold. All three have been professional and have always been able to help me. I only recall my appointment starting late once and even then, I was meeting with the doctor less than 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Overall, I'm happy with the service I get at South Vancouver Medical Clinic and I will continue to go back.

I saw Dr Hafez, nice person, very new doctor. He wanted me to jump through to many hoops.( the new way of thinking ) I am in a wheelchair and don't have the energy to go through more testing. That's why I have a specialist, I don't feel it necessary to do more than have him talk to my specalist . I won't see him again. I asked three people to help me since the tablet would not take my heath care #. Three staff would not even look at me, to acknowledge I was asking them a question. In a waiting room that was not busy. Worst medical & non medical service I have ever had. Because there was NO service or acknowledgement that a person was asking them a basic & simple question, that should be simple and basic for them to answer. I have been a patient at S. Vancouver Medical Clinic since it first opened and have never encountered issues. This is my second updated review; please see below. The various different receptionists have always been approachable and helpful, not just to me, but same nice treatment to the other patients as well. The doctors I have seen are Dr. Budai, Dr. Sturwold & Dr. Eric Wang. They are the nicest, most caring and most competent doctors! They take my medical issues seriously, are professional & are competent with assessments, sending me for tests & referrals to other professionals etc!! I book online each time and have NEVER had to wait for more than 5-10 minutes (which is more than reasonable). I'm not sure why others have faced such negative experiences?? The Clinic is bright, clean & conveniently located too. Our family have experienced deaths in our circle as is the reality of life but I really wonder if these individuals had seen any of the above named doctors, could they still be alive with us today? I have so much respect for the 3x doctors I've seen at S. VANCOUVER Medical Clinic!! Thank you! Been coming to this clinic for many years now and all receptionists have been super friendly , patient and helpful to me each and everytime!! You can book online or walk in. To me, it is common for walk ins to have to wait at any other clinic i have been to....fortunately for me, whether i book online or walk in, i have not had long wait times at all and i go at varying times of day. All the doctors i have seen here are very nice, approachable and helpful such as Dr. Budai, Dr. Nicole Sturwold etc. Plenty of parking avail at Superstore. Very clean! A bunch of idiot doctors and staffs. Staffs are not doing the job, checking if patient has valid/active insurance before letting them in. Inform patient after 2 days that owing them doctor fee $200!! Excuse was probably the staff was busy and didn’t check on that day (so your due diligent work!) I think they purpose do that, they don’t care. They just sent the bill. Went to the clinic for a hurt ankle and Dr. Ronak has been nothing but accommodating, cheerful, and extremely nice to me. He sent me instructions on how to strengthen my ankle once it started to heal up and was very attentive towards how much pain I was feeling. This is an excellent clinic if you need to see a physician as a walk in. Even if you're a walk in (not seeing a family doctor) you can book online which is very convenient and decreases the wait time when you arrive (in my experience). I have had excellent experiences with the majority of physicians I have seen there. Clinic is very clean and on top of the superstore. So, if you do arrive on a busy day and they alert you it will be a while, to be seen, you can do some grocery shopping while you wait if you're well enough :)

I cannot give any stars to this medical clinic but this review site wont let you post a review without giving a star. The physicians and clerks at the clinic overbook to compensate for cancellations and this is unethical. The clinic indicates on its website that appointments can be scheduled on-line and walk-in patients are welcomed. But what the doctors and clerks working at the clinic neglect to tell you is that they take in walk-in patients to compensate for any "no show" patients who scheduled on-line. Expect to wait if you are a walk-in patient. I was told I had to wait an hour and that there were two others ahead of me but I waited for three hours, and people who showed up two hours after me went to see the doctor before me. At least eight others went ahead of me. So when I asked for clarification, I was told again there were still two others ahead of me. This didn't make any sense. I then realized the clerk meant there were two other walk-in patients before me and until there isn't any no show of patients who scheduled appointments on-line then only will the walk-in patients see the doctor. I checked my hunch with the clerk, and I was correct. The clerk became nervous thinking I would report them and informed another clerk that I discovered the reason for the long wait and overbooking. This clerk became hostile towards me. I wasn't about to engage and give her exactly what she wanted. She wanted a reaction. The more I ignored her the more she became nervous and hostile. A very disturbing experience. Eventually, I was called to see the doctor and she was rude, impolite and obnoxious. She asked me for the purpose of the visit and I only said two words before being cut off by her. I then asked her if she was going to allow me finish speaking so that she can make a better assessment. She changed her tone.

If you've got an appointment, the waits are minimal, so I would highly recommend doing that. The doctors are helpful but diagnostic success is questionable. Good for routine things but if you have a problem and you're not sure what it is, I would recommend going elsewhere. It's a solid backup plan though.

Doctors here are terrible. I came in with a bladder infection and was prescribed Cipro/ciprofloxacin. This did not help with the infection and should never be prescribed as a first line defense. There are numerous reports of people being permanently disabled or having terrible side effects from this dangerous drug. I'm shocked that doctors would so casually prescribe this antibiotic without testing the culture sample knowing these risks. Avoid this clinic if you value your health!

needed to see a doctor and my family doctor was unavailable so I came to this clinic because it was close to my house. The clinic was very clean, the receptionist who was an older lady I dealt with may need to work on her people skills but I wasn't there to see her. even though , they offer the ability to make an appointment I just walked in and didn't have long to wait I would say maybe 25 minutes but that may vary because those who make appointments do take priority which is understandable. The doctor who saw me Doctor Wang was very impressionable and was able to help me the best he could considering the circumstances. I would definitely visit again if I needed to.

The Doctors here will ignore you prescribe pills only that you have to pay for then when you need surgery they let it wait and you lose years of your life. Physio here is American and does not have Canadian Values. He like money. $$$ not people. This clinic is the equivalent of a high school nurse. If you have other options choose them this clinic is full of doctors that abuse the system so they can get paid kickbacks. I had serious medical conditions that were ignored here till i saw a proper doctor.

DOREEN tells patients that they are not allowed to ask the doctor questions during a PAP exam. DOREEN also orders patients to disrobe in front of her or the doctor will not see them. Presumably, this is because she messed up the schedule and the doctor was running nearly an hour late. I am a certified Medical Office Administrator and am aware of proper doctor-patient protocol. DOREEN is going to bring legal trouble to this office if she is not fired. She was calmly asked to stop harassing the patient in the examination room and refused. DOREEN continued to harass the patient and insist that the patient not ask the doctor any questions during the impending PAP. PAP tests can be difficult, sensitive or intimidating for some young women, who will naturally have questions or concerns for the doctor. The doctor later confirmed that it is totally acceptable to ask questions or bring up concerns about the PAP, and that patients do not have to disrobe in front of office staff. DOREEN needs to be removed from this office ASAP.

Giant wait times, even with an appointment. Typical wait time is 45 min if you have an appointment. They seem to put drop-in people ahead of appointments if the drop-in got there first. However, all the doctors I saw were caring and knowledgeable. I have seen 3 different doctors here, and they were all great.

I love this clinic because they have online booking. That means I NEVER talk to reception. I book my appointment at 10am when the clinic opens.. That means no waiting, I am the FIRST appt. with my doctor who is wonderful. No fuss no muss. I am in and out by 10:15. This location is easily accessed by transit. I love that they are on top of the Superstore so you can do some shopping while you wait for your prescription. I hope the idea of online booking catches on more, then maybe we can get rid of the so called "rude" staff. (I say that because I have never spoke to any of them in the 6 months I have been a patient.)

Besides being potentially misdiagnosed, or at the very least "under-diagnosed", which I can totally understand as doctors are only human, the biggest issue was test results. I called the morning of the day they were supposed to be back, was told they weren't in yet but that they always call as soon as they're in. At this point I was trying to arrive at the clinic just after the results were in, as my condition was emerging. After being unable to wait any longer I went in, only to find that the test results were already in. Not receiving a phone call about my test results is an error I can't understand nor forgive, considering it is 2016 and there is usually more than one receptionist.

Suspected I had a stomach virus so I made an appointment online to see a doctor the same day. The white lady with glasses and brown hair always greets me with a smile when I come in and checks me in seamlessly. Out of the three times I've gone, I've only had to wait 30 mins over my appointment (I was supposed to see a specific doctor, but I'm guessing the one filling in was a little behind schedule). Called me 3 minutes before our appointment time to tell me they had switched my daughter’s in-person appointment to a phone appointment and to not come into the office. The reason - she has a sore throat (her only symptom) and they won’t see her in clinic with that symptom even though it was not one of the symptoms listed on their website as requiring a phone appointment. I was already there in the parking lot and ended up having a phone “appointment” while in my car. The doctor (Dr Hafez) could do absolutely nothing to help my daughter (although I can guarantee he charged the government for that “appointment”) and told me if I wanted her seen in person I’d have to take her to Children’s Hospital. He also offered to prescribe antibiotics to her over the phone without any physical exam to see if she actually needed them which is a horrible and potentially dangerous practice. Will NEVER book with this joke of a clinic again and will be filing a formal complaint against this doctor for his dangerous practices.

Very poor customer service. I called the clinic around 6:15PM on 21 August. Apparently, someone called our home at 4:39 PM and left a voicemail asking me to call back their office. I was put on hold for a long time so I decided to end the call and called back again (thinking that the person forgot about me). I am not sure if the person I spoke to this time, was the same person who put me on hold. She was rude and impatient. She originally asked me to write down details about an appointment I was set for, but when I asked her to repeat some of the details she decided to end our conversation abruptly and asked me to just go to their office. Do NOT see Dr. Lloyed Jones! He is an extremely rude old doctor and treated us with crudity. About half a year ago I booked a phone consultation with him for my Grandma's prescription refill. Since my grandma couldn't speak English, I was there helping to translate. First of all, the audio quality over the extension system was terrible so I could hardly understand his hoarse voice. When I asked him to repeat his question, guess what, he just replied with "I just told you!" He also refused to refill one of the drugs saying that my grandma does not have proper examination result, although I had said that she did one in another country which her family doctor, unavailable on that day, accepts. Regardless, his also used coarse language in front of me including saying we and the other doctor are "ridiculous". When we went to the appointed pharmacy to pick up the rest of the drugs, the staff there could not see any of the drugs being prescribed. The pharmacy sent this clinic an email and there was never a reply.

The service is excellent. For the first time i was visiting, so i dint booked an appointment, i went there as walk in patient, receptionist kind enough to accommodate me. The doctor is very relaxed, he first listens to patient completely about the problem, not hurrying to see more patients, answered all my questions with regards to flu. The ambiance is quiet & good, a very large waiting area. not too much crowded(not too much of noise). Clinic is well kept. One more good thing i saw is, those who booked appointment, came in sat for 5 - 10 mins, called in to see doctor, and left in 10-20 mins. totally the average time spent was somewhere 30 mins. That quiet good turn around time.

I did have a bit of a problem with wait time but that's to be expected. I came into the clinic with a very challenging and difficult to explain disposition with no appointment at all. This all being said I still saw a doctor in a reasonable timeframe who was able to understand and meet my needs. I left the clinic within 2 hours on a Monday with great results! Dr Qazalbash is who I saw and found he showed genuine concern. I plan to keep going to this clinic until I get my own family doc and will also reccomend it to others

I’ve been here way to many times and every time ( not over exaggerating) they are late, minimum 30mins behind schedule all the time. They shouldn’t be allowed to operate they way they do. No consistant line up of people. They have special clients that seem to get service right away and other get left in the waiting room until the very end... EVEN WITH AN APPOINTMENT. The front desk staff even told me once it’s best to come as a walk in because they have more doctors avail. Don’t book an appointment.. maybe you’ll get better service. Super friendly receptionist, she was extremely helpful and patience. I've just moved to vancouver and was new to the area and had lots of questions regarding the clinic, she answered every question with a smile on her face eventhough I knew that i was taking a lot of her time. A+++ The doctor, however, is just the opposite, I will not say his name on here but if you would like to know please message me. I went to the clinic 2 weeks ago, had an appointment at 4pm, waited in the hall untill 5pm, which was ok with me, i wasnt in a rush or anything. When the receptionist called my name and lead me to the doctor's room, I had to wait in there for another half an hour. At around 5:45pm, the doctor came in, i stood up, said good afternoon and introduced myself. The doctor rolled his eyes and abruptly asked what I was there for. He looked like I just ruined his entire day by saying hello. I told him that i had been having this bad headache and blurred vision for about a week, and my legs hurt after walking for just a few minutes. I told him that my dad had the same symptoms when he was my age and it turned out to be diabetes. So I asked him if there are anyway to do a test to see if I had diabetes, he told me that I was just overweight and just needed some exercise and I should turn out fine. He then gave me a prescription for my headache and said "you have a great day" and walked straight out of the room. I was in there for literally 2 minutes (max). I knew that something wasn't right with my body so I went to another clinic and made an appointment for a bloodtest and it turned out I really do have diabetes. Thanks doctor, please do the world a favor and retire ASAP. I was probably unlucky and got the one rude doctor, but I will not be taking my chances at this clinic anymore.

Horrible place. Do not recommend as a walk in clinic. Been here twice as its the closest to home and both times the lady at the front counter explained the wait would be about an hour maybe a bit longer.... it's been 2 and half hours and still haven't seen the Dr. I wish I could give this place no stars but I can't..... waste of time and I hate being lied too. Incompetent staff.

So I used to go to this clinic and I thought they were very good and friendly. I had good care and experiences until this past month. They gave my phone number and personal info out to a new clinic that was opening up so that clinic was able to contact me and try sell me on coming to their clinic instead. I was a little perplexed as I was pretty sure that violated the privacy act laws. They said no. Then because I told them I was very upset they freely gave out my personal info they decided they would now deny me service. I am pretty sure that the oath doctors take says "I will do no harm" They harmed me by denying me access to their care and by violating my rights to privacy when they gave out my personal info. I have spoken to 2 other clinics and they unequivocally said clinics are NOT allowed to give out patients info. So why is this clinic different? Do they have different rules that only apply to them? very hurt by their treatment. After reading some of the responses from the owner in the reviews below, I can see that I am not wrong in the way this clinic treats people. One person wrote they felt judged and dismissed because of their appearance. The owner responds with "can you be more clear?" I think he was pretty clear. Another reviewer wrote they wanted to be referred to a specialist after seeing these doctors and the owner's response "we cannot refer you with faulty info?" Did you not have their care card info? Were you unable to read their medical history? Were you unable to make a proper assessment and then refer them to a Doctor who would be in a better position to help that person? I see a lot of excuses, not many solutions on the owner's part here. In my case they felt the need to bar me from the premises because I explained calmly, without raising my voice or using bad language that they violated my rights to privacy! They did something wrong and I was the one who was punished! lol. Well it makes me feel a little better now that I read these reviews and know that I am really not alone in how these doctors and this clinic treat people. shame.

I hadn't received any call for my results and the doctor said to call after 4 weeks. So I did. The first receptionist couldn't find my results... she put me on hold for 10mins and then a new receptionist came on the phone who was extremely rude!!! She also didnt tell me if she had found my results instead she kept playing mind games with me. I understand that you all may deal with annoying clients everyday. But what about those that are genuinely polite... your front desk staff need extra training. It has never been smooth with them. The doctors I have seen have all been great. However due to the final straw this evening with the receptionist staff I will be asking for my file and moving to a different clinic.

Doctor is ancient. Staff is unfriendly. No website and no updates on google maps so you don’t even know what their procedure is like. Place feels like it’s stuck in time. Avoid if possible.
