I woke up here with little memory of why or how I got there. When I was back to my old self I found the nurses to be very caring and nice. All the test done were in a timely manor. Even with the Covid, they all were great.

I was travelling on the road and I had an Emergency and I was really surprised by the attitudes of the Staff specially the lady in the X-Ray Front Desk who was very rude, uneducated and racist.

4 hours to see a doctor in emergency is a joke. Agree they prioritize the urgency but 1 doctor on weekend is really not what is expected when u pay so much taxes and the population of the city. Not appreciated at all.

I went with my nineteen month old son because he had broken his leg (Tibia) the service was very slow, I understand that there are certain priorities that require the nurses and the doctors and I understand that the emergency room was very full that night so I will not do much drama here, my concern was the following, even though my son was admitted, they made me wait standing while I held my son in my arms, a nineteen month old boy with a broken leg, I did not mind standing, but I had my son in my arms while he was in pain he was not in a comfortable position, and I understand that the one to blame for his accident was me as a father, I should have been more aware, i am blaming no one but me, although it is sad to know that no one moved a finger to help my son. I felt powerless that night and i think that only one nurse showed concern for my son. I tried to take the seat that was in front of the window where we are suppose to get admitted, but i was removed from the chair because this gentleman needed it, he wasn't sick but rather was admitting someone else already on the hospital. I know that working with people and especially sick and injured people can be difficult on certain occasions, not to mention very busy. What saddened me the most was that my son received a better and warmer service from the nurses and doctor at the children hospital in Calgary than the staff in brooks that night. To what extent do we forget that we are human beings? I do not want to cause a negative impact, I just wanted to express myself, I could not find the way to write my discomfort without being negative, since the nurses and doctors of the brooks health center do a wonderful job every day.
