Great professional staff and friendly too.
Went into the office because I was lost and couldn't find what I was looking for and the lady's were very helpful and told me exactly where it was and they were right I found it right away
Mismanaged beaureaucratic anti competitive monolopy yet fundrd by tax dollars
Good service , my only problem is the address given on here is incorrect along with the hours of operation is also incorrect. It's actually at 2211 Parkedale Ave, Brockville, ON K6V 6B2
I’m pregnant and I’ve been there several time. Some days are busy than others but can you blame them for that? They’re very friendly and hardworking techs. So far their service is excellent!
This is a very busy place. Expect a wait. Happy with how I was treated.
Very clean, polite, and understanding
Friendly and helpful services. Nice to be treated like a person instead of a number. I have no complaints and as difficult as it can be working through covid restrictions, the team pulled it off without a hitch. Thanks "T".
Friendly courtesy staff follow in safety poetical thumbs up
I'm nervous about needles, and the girl I had was so gentle and kind with me. I didn't even know she was doing it until she was done. Absolutely amazing people that work here!!
Lifelabs services are very good, I haven't had an issue with anything. The staff is nice, and the procedures are always well done. Paying for parking is ridiculous though, as all my visits are less than 10 minutes since I make appointments and they're generally usually on time.. I don't even have coins/change in my possession at any time, so I specifically have to plan to get some.
Long waiting times, the girl workers sometimes are rude.
Had to have blood work and other tests done, they were really quick and friendly!
Was good. The over all is good.
Wonderful and compassionate staff.
Really fast and good served
45 minutes and a line of people waiting to be seated. I get it's a Saturday and none of the staff want to be there but get over yourselves. The patients don't want to be there either. Will not return as I actually value my time, unlike anyone who frequents this place apparently.
Very kind staff, helpful. They are very good at they're job.
Horribly slow service, almost impossible to contact them by phone. They don't even have a Local phone number to reach them.
We purchased requisitions online. I had to call them because one did not come through by email though I received the others. We went to the doctor to get them signed. We took time off work and left Alberta to go to their BC lab. We find out that they won’t accept them from our doctor because they said our doctor wouldn’t give their after hours number to Life Labs. I called our doctors office and gave them the phone number to call Life Labs to give them the number. Our doctor’s office called me back and told me they got a switch board, transferred to patient care who transferred the call again to the BC Lab where I was waiting and only got voicemail. The lady I was talking to at the Lab then spoke to my doctor’s office on my phone and told them that she couldn’t take the number it had to be done through the main Life Lab. There was another issue with one of the requisitions I received was from the ON lab and trying to handle it on their website from my cell phone and I order another requisition and the site wouldn’t process payment, it didn’t give the button to confirm and submit to the next step. She said I’d have to do from a desktop computer then but not there. All around huge loss of money due to loss of work time for trip to doctor’s office for signature and then to go to BC, plus the money paid for the requisitions. All to be turned away. The lady at the lab was pleasant and attentive but this experience was horrible and a huge waste of time. Now I have to spend time reaching the payment processor for Life Labs to get a refund that they keep 5% of!!!!! Worst service ever. If your paperwork is in order they tended people pleasantly and quickly.
I understand with this covid that things have changed. A major problem is that there is no one to take your call because as you wait for an assistant, it just hangs up. I called back, same thing, tried again and again the same issue. What happens to people who just simple do not know how to use the internet? I am dissappointed with the system. I am pleased with the staff inside the building as they are efficient and usually timely. I hope someone reads these reviews and makes changes to simplify the system. My partner had to get a rush on bloodwork and ended up having to go to Kingston, only to find out that the bloodwork had to be taken in the morning as they could not Purolate it in the afternoon. The bloodwork could not even be brought to Purolator. We are both very dissapointed in the system!
Really kind and wonderful service. Thank you.
Quick, efficient, professional, and painless!
This site is understaffed. Small town mentality and take bookings for simple blood tests a week in advance online. I sure hope no one has a medical emergency as no one gives a care because it’s not them with the issue. There were three people in a line up after standing there for 45 minutes to be told they can’t take you today and that’s when they started booking appointments for tomorrow but you sure couldn’t book online to avoid this annoyance. It was 3:45 and I’m pretty sure you can draw three patients samples in 15 minutes. I’m a phlebotomist so I know. I will never return there again. Don’t waste your time going to Brockville you will be better off going to the city.
The better lab to get your blood drawn in town.
Hands down the best LifeLabs I've been to! The staff are friendly, organized and there was little to no wait time. I couldn't ask for a better experience, I didn't even feel it when I had blood taken.
Never waited long and always had my results online the day after with the indicated scale chart. :)
First off, just wow...wow...wow...wow. I do not have the words to describe how amazing the staff are here and how wonderful ❤ they are. Leah was the most incredible down to earth and well rounder blood technicians/human being I've ever had whole getting blood taken I will never go anywhere else again. If you have issues or are terrified like myself when getting blood taken go here. Hands down they are amazing.
Website said 3 minute wait. Hahaha been outside now for 15 and still 5th in line. Took 1.5 hrs With an appointment . Hate to see walk-in experience .
The place is terrible. The sign says it is open at 7 but it didn't open until 7:30. No apologies or excuses. Modi unprofessional place I have been in long time.
Very busy location and the staff are always trying their best to get everyone taken care of in a timely and efficient manor!
I am always impressed by the staff Very efficient and they make the procedures painless.
Great, friendly staff!
Staff is nice but hours posted online is different then the lab location. Which is kind of important when trying to schedule your blood work.
Very helpful staff for a very chaotic situation.
This place is a joke - don't waste your time here. Booked an appointment for which I had to wait 3 weeks, was supposed to be 12:50PM. 1:15PM and still nobody had come out to even acknowledge I'd arrived. Online check in system says "only available during business hours" for this location, despite it being open. Anyone else I've spoken to has had a similar experience - How it has a 4 star rating here is beyond me...
Hate having to wait outside in this weather rightnow
Thank you to the wonderful stuff at the LifeLab on Garrison rd, Fort Erie for taking good care and making NF my day even better ???? ????Marry Christmas ???? to all of you!????
One of the ladies was rude to my wife.
The lineup to get in was inevitable due to the fact that the internet says the labs will open up at 7:00 a.m. when it actually opened at 8:00 a.m. Nowhere for the elderly or weak patrons to rest while being left with no other choice but to wait. It's been over 2 months since lockdown began. More than enough time for someone to correct Lifelabs hours on their website and accommodate the patrons being affected by the covid related changes. Perhaps a numbering system would allow people to rest in their cars or on a bench outside without losing their place in line. Once inside, the service seemed to run efficiently.
I just left there after being told that i have to have my bloodwork done BEFORE 8am, as my requisition includes a test that is time sensitive. She said it something about it having to do with sleep. I knew that was incorrect, so I phoned my Gyno who ordered it and she called around to a couple places and phoned me back. She said in 30 years working in medical shes never heard of that and the lady there is severely mistaken, as there's nothing time sensitive on my requisition. She added that most labs dont even operate til 8am, so how could that be lol. She said it's only blood count and hormone levels on my requisition, so they dont even know how the lady thinks that it's time sensitive. I live 45 mins outside Cornwall so theres no way I want to leave my house at 645am to come back for 730am for no reason. Not to mention I just wasted 1.5 hours driving round trip for some stubborn woman to tell me wrong info that shes standing by no matter what anyone else says. They should not have that kind of authority. Ridiculous. I went elsewhere in the afternoon and guess what? No problem! So if you're ever fed that BS from them, just tell them they're dead wrong and go somewhere else.
I've been a few times and always had a really great experience! Wait times were very reasonable for both visits. I'm not the best with needles.. but their staff have been SO fabulous. Grateful for this option when it comes to needing blood work!
Made our visit today a good one! I had such anxiety taking my child to have lab work done but these ladies are so good at what they do that I didn’t even need to worry. Definitely one of my best lab experiences hands down
Terrible experience. The nurse could not find my Vein after stabbing me 3 times . Then when I got up to leave she got very upset and she lied to the front staff to save her job . I will never go back.
Second time I go to a Lifelabs . Was hoping this one was different. Both places had to wait forever to be seen. Had a 10:10 appointment and was seen at 10:50. I am diabetic and was getting very weak. And thanks to all that i got a migraine. If only they were just behind on appointments it would be 1 thing, I heard 2 people say they were walk ins and they were both seen before me. Unacceptable. I will continue to go to Dynacare even if it is a detour.
It was end of day and there were still walking in line. They were very busy back and forth from letting in people getting them signed in and in waiting area. I could tell that they had been hustling all day but they were very professional and followed all the cleaning and sanitizing as well as wearing ppe required. Thank you to all who work in the labs. Also I must say that I am very disappointed in the government as they are not required as an essential service. I totally disagree as without them myself and others would not be able to stay on top of our health and potentially life threatening unknown issues as is why we are having the tests for. Shame on you as theses are front line essential Healthcare workers.
Lost 2 of 3 samples taken in then blamed me for losing them despite they were all in the same large ziploc bag....not trusting them so much now
Always a pleasant experience. Although wait times can sometimes be a little long, it's kinda to be expected. The staff is always friendly. That's always important. Their days are very busy and I imagine the people they deal with aren't always patient , so I really appreciate their kindness.
No visible signs stating that they are Life Labs. And you have to pay a parking fee just to go there and get blood work done? Honestly that's retarded, all other life webs I've been to had free parking.
Quick, friendly and superb service.
Went in July to get bloodwork done was told to bring all 3 requestions with me had to have my A1C checked which was on the requestion and it was not done
I took my daughter there and had exceptional service She doesn’t do well getting bloodwork done and has fainted in the past . Michelle was awesome with her and only picked her once and we were in and out in no time . They even were prepared if she fainted to be near the bed to lay her down .Thankyou for making her visit comfortable . That was our best visit ever. Keep up the good work !!
They have a very nice staff and the nurses there are very kind and know how to draw blood without it hurting a lot The staff of life labs Chatham Kent thank you all for being so nice to me and for helping me I am so grateful for the staff at life labs Chatham Kent for being so nice and kind to me And thank you all for being so nice to me and I will get bloodwork done there again if I have to get bloodwork done again Lucas Babich
Fantastic lab
Yup this place is a joke.. cannot reach anyone at the central number for the life of you.. I ttried and tried then it said i had to be disconnected because there were too many calls. So impossible to get through. Then trying to schedule an online appointment well it says there is a 14 minute wait time at present but there are no availble apoinmtments for the rest of the month. Going to dynacare! 10x bettter service!
Very slow
Friendly and fast.
My husband has to have blood drawn very frequently. On his most recent trip to Life Labs he complained to staff about blood being on the chair. This was the second time in a row that there was blood on the chair where he would also be having blood drawn. Staff did not appreciate being told about the uncleanliness of the facility and the nurse who took his blood proceeded to insert the needle into him and move it around frequently, causing a massive welt and then a hard lump under the skin where she scarred his vein. I can only believe that she harmed him on purpose, because how could a professional technician cause that much damage when taking blood? My husband has good veins and has never had a problem with technicians being able to draw blood. I called the Life Labs call centre and explained the situation. She said she would tell the manager of the Life Labs and that the manager would call me back. They never did. I would also like to add that my husband had to have surgery shortly after the technician damaged his vein and it made it very difficult for the nurses at the hospital to take his blood and insert an IV. So, a warning not to complain about the unhygienic conditions at the facility because a technician might seek vengeance on your veins.
Never have i been so disrespected. I had set up an appointment for blood work and arrived 5min early. I asked where to go if I had an appointment I was told to stand in line so I did. 20min after my appt time I was still waiting so I left
I have been attending this location for about a year and a half for blood work. The staff is professional, friendly and competent. The location is always clean, sanitary and well maintained which is a comfort especially during this uncertain time. I don't think I have ever waited for more than 5 minutes.
I have been trying to make a vital appointment for bloodwork that my doctor needs, but every single time I call their appointment number, I get a recording that tells me to try again later and hung up on. In 3 days, I have not been able to get through at all. I find it very difficult to believe that they are that busy 24 hours a day.
Because of work I usually go on Saturday. Today it was closed even though hours say they are open. I felt really sorry for the lady who parked in their parking lot and would have been charged. Door was locked. This is the second time this has happened. Update your hours if you are not going to be open.
My 5 stars is for the girl who took my blood today. 2 tubes. ???? No hurt, no bruise. Much appreciated.
Amazing service!
Been trying for 2 days to get an appointment for blood tests. By phone I keep getting a message to try again, online I get stumped half way through with no options to continue. Very disappointing
