Will never deal with this place again for glasses. First it was they will be ready in a week and a half. Then it was be ready on Wednesday. (appx. 2 weeks at this point) That was followed by they will be ready by Friday. It's Wednesday now so with any luck I will have them Friday of this month and year. Also to note they told me the prescription part was done and they had them. They advised all that was needed was someone in their office to cut them. To get someone to cut them since being told lens ready and glasses back takes little over a week apparently. That's assuming I get them Friday. I really don't care if they are cut perfect and the best glasses I have ever had. I will never deal with this place again. I won't even start to elaborate on the level of rudeness I was met with for even calling the first time not one bit upset and politely just asking if my prescription might be ready. I'm just glad I didn't choose to speak to them in the same manner even after all this run around. The one who sold them was very respectful,helpful and professional. That's about all I can say good at this point. Really wish I had of taken the over 400 dollars I paid for glasses at this place to some other place. Even if the other place charged 500 for the same job as long as they appreciated their customer. My prescription has drastically changed since my last one so the new lenses are desperately needed to see right. I don't blame them for that. I do however blame them when I pay in good faith only to witness and be subject to the charade above. If 0 stars was possible I would happily post it as they have more than earned it. This is the first time I have ever typed a negative review of any company or business.

Friendly staff, amazing service! Went in for a quick adjustment as I had lost a screw from my glasses. They not only replaced the screw but adjusted my frames, replaced the nose pieces and cleaned my glasses for me! Thanks for the great service!!

Both the staff and doctor were condescendingly dismissive. My glasses as proscribed were unsatisfactory. I needed lenses for a specific distance but the first set provided for another distance and provided a warped view. I booked a second visit to correct this issue but the doctor seemed too busy to listen to my concerns. However a second pair was provided but these were only marginally better and lacked the "brown tint" I had previously paid for. When I had questions during the "fitting" of this second pair, I was told, "...you don't need to know...." A visit to another optometrist's office revealed the prescription given to me by BOC was incorrect, even for the distance viewing I was told I needed - and even more wrong for the distance I requested.

Overall was happy with the experience until I got my prescription home to order new glasses. Once I went to place my order I realized that they had not included my PD measurement. I called and conveniently for them it's another $35 for that measurement. I am very disappointed in this underhanded tactic to get more money out of people. It would be good practice to let people know that there is an additional fee for this, I have worn glasses since I was 2 and have never had to pay extra for this measurement! Just so people know don't pay this fee, you can measure it at home with a ruler and there are instructional videos online to do so. All that being said I'm simply disappointed in this policy and it's not a reflection of the doctor. They were thorough in my exam which I do appreciate.
