Dr Gabriel is our family doctor and she is wonderful. Thanks for your care for our family. Note: on the receptionist front, wait times seem quite long because of the Covid situation so I always make sure to call much earlier than I need to. They have a new staff member who is very pleasant and that's a welcome addition to the team.

I've had several poor dealings with the receptionist now. Her name is Rae and she needs to figure it out. Poor manners, really unhelpful, and demonstrates a negative attitude with patients. I love my doctor, Patricia Gabriel! Rae: do not love. The managers of this clinic really need to look into this.

I have just had my kids discharged from this practice after 15 years by a form letter! The practice is so concerned about providing "timely" care to all of their patients that they feel the best solution is to provide no care at all to some of their patients. Sending long time patients out into the world of walk in clinics and never seeing the same doctor twice, if you can get there before they close, is reprehensible. We've always had great care from the Doctors at Medical West but the decisions being made by Meadowbrook Family Practice under the guise of 'achieving a better work/life balance' leave a lot to be desired. Doctors are supposed to have a fiduciary duty to put the well being of their patients first. It feels as if Meadowbrook Family Practice doesn't truly understand that duty. Having too many patients shouldn't mean kick a bunch to the curb. Extremely disappointed.

How many reviews does it take to get a decent receptionist who answers patients calls? Dr Gabriel is great, but it’s sad that good health is deterred by lack of availability. I was asked to call back in a voicemail, called not two mins after receiving that message; only to be on hold for 20mins, and eventually hang up because my in person appointment would be quicker than contacting the office.

The doctors are good but a couple of the front staff are off-putting. They don't listen or care about the patients. They actually act like they don't believe you, like your concern has no importance at all. If I have an urgent problem I go to the clinic because they won't see me. They won't use email either.

Horrible Receptionist!!!! She put me on hold 5 times and then we were disconnected after I waited 15 minutes. I made an appointment while at the office for my sons 6 month shots and the receptionist wrote it done for September and then booked it for November. Now I book appointments online, if I need to be seen the same day, I go to the walk-in clinic. I wish they would hire some more competent people ???? ..... ****Updated ****Nov 12 2021...No answer goes directly on hold. 28 minutes holding and still no one answer ???? The longest I've put someone on hold for is 3 minutes.

The doctors are good but the receptionist not so good. They put other people in before me even though i made a appointment a week before. I'm always on time but they always make you wait an hour or so to see the doctor even though you make an appointment weeks before. Not professional.

Dr. Cowie and Dr. Low are great but the receptionist are rude, off putting and lack a certain respect that you’d expect at a doctors office.

Dr Anna & Dr Svetlana are fantastic & thorough; on-line appt booking is easy & not too long a wait. Agree with others, the Receptionist is super rushed/short with you when you call; makes you feel like you are putting her out; not very polite; perhaps they need to hire her help, as she seems stressed & rushed :(

Dear Patients of Meadowbrook Family Practice, In this long overdue message we are writing to apologize for the difficulty in accessing our clinic these past months. We have heard about the unreasonable long waits on phones and other communication challenges that have made it harder for you to see your doctor. We have been highly concerned about this and completely agree that this is unacceptable. We have been working hard to identify the multiple causes of these problems which have included technological challenges, a change in service provider, pandemic related changes, and most significantly, being chronically short staffed since the start of the pandemic. Please know we are actively recruiting and training new members of our team, adding phone lines, and will be expanding hours for answering phones. Our goal is to provide excellent service and we will not stop working on this problem till we know that our patients are able to confidently pick up the phone and access our team in a timely matter. Almost impossible to book an appointment. The receptionist is very rude and not intelligent enough for her role. Our doctor is great if we ever get to see her. Covid or not this been an issue with reception for years now. Please find a professional receptionist.

I normally dont write reviews but this time I have to. Dr. SORRIAL is amazing. But the receptionist working today and answering the phone calls is just the rudest of them all. She seems to be new, guess that's why she needs to be trained with courtesy and respect. Oh my bad those are thought at home. You cant train someone with good manners must be learned at home. Horrible lady, no phone manners.
