Dr Monica is great, love her. The receptionist staff are kinda weird. I couldn't make an appointment one day because the time available was only for same day appointments? So I had to call the following morning to get a spot. Wouldn't it make more sense to just book me an appointment during those hours since they're technically open? Another time I had to pay a cancellation fee for wanting to reschedule an appointment for a different day since it was less than 24 hours notice. Shouldn't I only have to pay a fee if I'm super late or a no show? Edit: There's one lady at the check in who's super nice, unfortunately I don't know her name.

One of the worst clinics ever, the guy on the phone is rude and doesn't know how to speak to patients, definetly will NOT be going there and also I'd fire the staff working there if I were them

My partner and I feel grateful every day to have Dr. Anthony Villaruel as our family physician. He is not only very skilled, but he is also very professional and kind. He has a wonderful bed side manner as well. He is everything one would could want from a family doctor. When my previous (deeply cherished) long time physician retired, as 'truly thrilled' as I was for her for (in starting her next chapter), I was admittedly worried about losing her at the same time. Grateful to have Dr.Villaruel! We trust and appreciate him very much. Grateful to the whole team at Fraser Street Medical and appreciate all they do! Grateful every day.

Very bad service,not too friendly, and not very reasonable. I have a serious skin condition and need a referral but they want me to come in and make an appointment. I told them dr Haq said for me just call and they will send it. I told them and said to ask him but got straight up denied and they want me to make an appointment, they would not ask him nor apologized for this either. I do not know why they are in a very mood and not helpful...you think they want this career to help others but no they are not happy and very rude. I have been there since I was little now I have to switch family doctor because the receptionists there are just plain terrible. I am saddened by this.

Alright, this is the worst clinic I have ever been to! It is just terrible. Receptionists are rude and careless! Do NOT GO THERE EVER. SAVE YOUR TIME AND NERVES Dear managers if you are reading this, do us a favor and close your clinic down. Because it is that terrible!

Dr Monica G was good the first little while i seen her , then totally because very condescending , and just a mess with her referrals and follow up , gave me the worst prenatal care ive ever had in my life. Getting a new doctor will never go to this office agian ...And dont even get me started on how rude the front desk is what a joke

Drs. Simon and Daniel Ngui have been our family physicians for most of my life. They are amazing doctors who care very much for their patients. Dr. Daniel Ngui has been my family physician through several MVAs and I feel fortunate to be in his care. Nice and friendly office and medical staff!

Good hours available - they will always make time to see you in an emergency. Very understanding of the needs for young children/infants. I love Dr. Garcha she is fantastic. I advise using the online booking service unless it's an emergency.

Re: Dr. Claire Young Title: Stingy & Unhelpful She's more concerned about MSP spendings than your health. I spoke to Dr. Claire Young through Access Virtual regarding extremely itchy skin tags that had been bothering me for 3 months. She suggested I go buy some freezing product over the counter (which I had already done but it didn't work) or "tie a string around them to block the blood supply and have them fall off on their own"... Are we in the 1800s? Ultimately, I asked her to be referred to a specialist (Dermatologist) and she refused saying how this would cost the system too much and it was an abuse of the MSP. 1st. - I've been paying MSP for decades without ever using it, except for the odd colds, so I'm pretty sure I'm not abusing the system. Quite the opposite. 2nd - She suggested in a very aggressive way, that I just go to a walk-in clinic. So I did and this is what they told me "Our office does not have specialists and we also do not do skin tag removals in our office." So I'm basically left with no recourse, thanks to a "doctor" more concerned by the MSP budget than her patients. Absolutely despicable. PS: She wasn't so concerned to pocket that MSP consultation offering no help.

Doctor Anna Wolak makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter her office. Upon entering, she studied me carefully but did not make me feel like a specimen or like the theories about what was going on with my body were unfounded. She made me feel at ease and well taken care of. She also took the time to catch up with my partner who was in the office as support with me and is her patient also. I am very pleased with her practice and feel thankful to have received such genuine care.

A couple of problems with this clinic. (1). I was a patient of Dr. Villaruel and was not really happy with his medical evaluation or the lack of it. My lower back was hurting for a couple of days and needed medical attention. Booked an appointment with Dr. Villaruel to talk about it, and without even doing any diagnostics of my pain, all he said was to trying flipping my mattress. (2). Went to go see Dr. Villaruel for an unscheduled appointment one day and he was not in that day. So, I asked the receptionist to see some other doctor for my medical condition. Receptionist flat out said "there is no available doctor to see you today, how about tomorrow?". And why would Fraser Medical Clinic advertise to patients that they are a walk in clinic for their patients? And it's not like they rush the patients out of the clinic so fast anyways that they can fit me in? So needless to say, I am not going back there again.

I have been coming to this clinic for years because of Dr. Simon Ngui. He was a wonderful doctor, however, after he left, I’ve had to deal with Dr. Daniel Ngui who is extremely rude. He has a huge ego, offers zero support, rushes every appointment. He absolutely does not care about his patients. He lacks compassion, empathy and just pure kindness. He’s an awful awful doctor. Stay clear if this clinic. The front staff is rude as well and don’t return calls!! I don’t know why they call it a walk in. It’s not, they never have time slots available. This clinic is only in it for the money.

I've visited every single doctor here due to several different purposes. First Dr. Ng, I've disliked seeing him due to his condescending attitude to me. Dr. Anna Wolak, was rude and hurrying while I saw her because she told me she was unable to help me because she's not my family doctor. Fair, but the characteristic of trying to deal with me as quick as possible felt hostile. Dr. Anthony, my doctor I find is the most tolerable. Maybe it's due to receiving hospital papers, or my strong head of not being okay with bs anymore with damn doctors but that's my experience.

I have been a patient here for 3 years and am glad I transferred from my previous. I see Dr Garcha and she is fantastic. A few things to be aware of, make sure to go in a bit ahead of your appointment time to check in. I have found the office support staff to be very professional and polite.

I love my family doctor, Dr. Anthony. I never feel rushed when I see him, he explains to me everything I need to know and he's constantly checking up on my past issues just to make sure I'm totally cured of them. The clinic itself is not very accommodating even though they claim to be. I can't book a same-day appointment for prescription refills, they won't allow my doctor to fax or email me my refills... My job often books me to last-minute travels so these inaccessible refills are a pain. I'm seriously considering moving to a different clinic even if it means losing my favorite doctor.

Always having a bad experience with Dr. Villaruel everytime i see him. He is always in hurry and I notice that he is not paying attention when I talk and explaining what is my concern. He didn't even smile when I entered the room. You can't even feel that he really cares for your health. When he checked my stomach he pressed it so hard and painful. I won't recommend him to other patients. He's not nice.

I think this is a great medical clinic, and I am so happy to be a patient here. The reception staff are fantastic, and the online booking system is great if you just need to book a quick appointment. I find Dr .Garcha to be thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and REAL. I also really appreciate that if Dr. Garcha is not in and something comes up, I can see one of her colleagues. This came up for me a few months ago, and the other Dr I saw (can't remember his name) was so kind and helpful. Every time I have been in for a booked appointment, they have either been right on time or 5-10 minutes behind. Their phone lines can be pretty busy, especially first thing in the morning, but the reception staff does not try to get you off the phone as quick as they can, so I don't mind holding for a while. Great clinic!

This Clinic just drives you crazy. UNORGANIZED staff. Their online booking appointment system is STUPID because the office still gets the wrong info.

Receptionist are really rude, even if you call them for information they sound really annoying god even asking simple question. More than 5 times they gave me wrong information for example doctor said your prescription for refill should be ready just pick it from the reception, where they forced you to book an appointment just for prescription and doctor said I already wrote it for you why did you book an appointment. Took time off from work just to attend the appointment which I didn’t need. They also lie when asked that did you said that they will say the never said that makes patients looks like they are being silly. Other times when I call for information over the phone used sounds / words to express how annoyed they were for asking just an simple question. They should be more polite and humble specially they mostly work with seniors. They were extremely rude. I try to avoid going to doctors unless I really needed just to avoid the pain of dealing with them. I am finally changing doctors. I thought it only happen to me but I heard from couple different patients it happens to them as well

This place must either fix their hours, or get more doctors available at the walk in time mentioned available. They advertise to close at 7:45 pm. And when I call to check (at approximately 3:45/4pm) they tell me that no one is available for walk in. This has happened to others as well according to reviews I have noticed. I have had predominantly poor experiences here since I my old GP (Dr.Tan) left. And I was passed on to other GPs available. I had no choice but to choose the best I felt from the handful available. Which honestly isn't much. One of them felt condescending. Another felt hostile. The last one seemed like they wanted everything to be over with. I understand having to be quick with patients to fit as many in as possible. But at least separate the hastiness with the patients. Otherwise it feels like you're not being cared for.

NP Timothy Kwok is very kind and knowledgeable and I am very pleased with the medical service they provide. Only reason for 2 stars is because the front office does NOT answer the phone, ever. I was told never to call because you can't get through. They are responsive over email when I need to schedule an apt. but any time I have trouble getting into the telemedicine system or I need to discuss options for an appointment there is literally no way to contact them outside of email. It is incredibly frustrating.

I've been a patient here for the past 2 years. Dr Garcha is fantastic and so are all the other doctors and staff we have encountered. The same day appointments offered have been invaluable to our family with young children - often we need to see a doctor right away. No more drop in clinics or unneccessary emergency visits thank goodness. The front desk staff are by far the most friendly and helpful of any I have encountered in a doctors office. There is always parking available right in front and the doctors almost always run ON TIME. I dont know what more I could wish for to be honest, it's great. I cannot understand all the negative reviews. So happy we switched to this office.

Dr. Young is always available for when I need her, albeit for a maximum of 15 minutes per visit. The MDAs also always forward my communication to her without delay, and always confirm my appointments whether they be online or in person. Hans V.

The staff is just AWFUL, rude and not very welcoming. Trying to get someone picking up a phone in less than 10 mins of waiting is an achievement. However, Dr Villaruel is friendly and strives to explain the diagnosis as much as he can and answer the questions you may have.
