Amazing! We count our stars everyday that he was the doctor at the er the night we had our daughter. We believe without him things would've turned out differently. Excited to have him with our current pregnancy. My husband thinks he should be awarded with a gold medal for being able to calm hormonal paranoid pregnant woman such as myself all day everyday????

Friday night and my wife and I needed a Hero, Dr Rosengarten and the wonderful team around him where it.....my life experience tells me there have likely been more complicated births but last night whilst trying to wear my game face for my wife the man mentioned above was the only guy who could settle my heart rate and that by no means undermines the other staff on duty that night because they were all amazing. Dealing with the facts only I felt assured he would do what was right when the time was right! Thank you for bringing our son Leo into the world and keeping mumma safe too. Massive respect and thanks to all who took part in our journey last night. You guys and girls are from the very top shelf! Thank you Holly, Barry, Harry and baby Leo! Xx

I would highly recommend Dr. Rosengarten to anyone having a child, and strongly hope any high risk pregnancy the fortune of his care. Dr. Rosengarten was the obstetrician on call the night my daughter was born. Although we were followed by midwives, when our baby entered fetal distress Dr. Rosengarten calmly took over. His calm demeanor, the humanity he emanates, and the skill he possesses makes him a truly unique and special person. I think very few other doctors would have been able to perform the vaginal birth he did that night, manually turning our baby three times, among other things. I still laugh, teary eyes, to this day when I think back at that moment, when he came to us at the end to exclaim, “Did you see that! She had the umbilical wrapped around her neck, not once, not twice, but five times!” I truly feel that Dr. Rosengarten saved the lives of my daughter and wife.

Dr. Mark Rosengarten is the best obstetrician you can find in Vancouver. He is definitely an expert at his field and clearly loves what he does. He took the time to explain things so clearly and made my wife feel confident and comfortable for her first pregnancy. Receptionist Liz is also very kind and friendly. This Doctor holds a special place in my heart. After 48 hours in labour, he delivered my son via c section and made me feel so important when I was upset I could not give birth naturally. He made the c section so special and had my husband take pictures while my son was being pulled out! He did an amazing job stitching me up. His bedside manor was second to none. My son is now 11 and I still remember Dr. Rosengarten like it was yesterday! Thank you!!

Dr. Rosengarten is dearly loved and adored by literally every mother I know in Vancouver. He made me feel like a rockstar mom throughout my entire pregnancy and his care, intuition, professionalism and humour is as authentic as it gets. I highly recommend him to everyone!

This is not a review for Dr. Rosengarten whom unfortunately I have never met since the next open appointments are in November but for his receptionist. She had a very rude and impatient attitude. I called the office and told her I had a referral letter from my clinic and she just gave me a: “This is not how I work, this needs to be faxed to my office.” Even though the first call was already unpleasant I returned to my clinic and asked them to fax it, called again with the result of more rudely asked questions like: “You want an appointment for an obstretics? So you’re pregnant?!” Or “Where do you live?!” All questions were asked in a military manner and it made me feel very unwelcome. Very unpleasant experience. Dr. Rosengarten must be amazing if they can afford to treat new patients like that.

Happy to see that most of the reviews here are for people who have had a positive experience. I have not had the fortune to have a good one with the front desk staff worker, I do not hope to encounter her again. I do not like how she chose to speak to me, I understand that this office is very busy. However, just because your own experience is good, does not mean that it is going to be universal for everyone else. The staff are not the devil, people who complain are not special snowflakes who don't understand the reality of how busy this type of work is. I hope that this office continues to perform in an overall well manner, as I don't think people should have experience my negative encounter with that specific staff member as I did. This office will be fine and will suffer no losses with one less person interested in receiving medical care , as there are many people seeking gynecological care as there are gynecologists working in Vancouver. This is just the nature of things.

Dr Rosengarten is an incredible doctor. He is an expert in his field and also a pro at making you feel comfortable, instantly putting you at ease. He provided excellent care during my first pregnancy and I am seeing him now for my second. I wouldn't want to see anyone else. He is calm, warm, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and always knows exactly what needs to be done (or not, in some cases, like when my family doctor ordered unnecessary tests and Mark cancelled them). Receptionist Liz is also a pro. Super personable, very professional and always either answers the phone or calls me back ASAP. Going to the office is always a great experience.

Most amazing and caring doctor goes above and beyond for his patients , I couldn’t believe how caring and kind he was more of a friendship than a doctor patient relationship and the quality of care was phenomenal !! Dr. Rosengarten delivered our beautiful baby boy 5 months ago at BC Women's via c-section. After 2 days of a pretty stressful labor and feeling defeated about needing surgery, he was exactly the anchor we needed as first time parents who didn't know what to expect in the operating room. Not only was he professional and skillful before and during the delivery, he also took the time to check in on us constantly while we stayed in recovery afterward at the hospital. We truly appreciated his honesty, humour, and bedside manner. We hope he delivers our next baby as well! Thank you, Dr. Rosengarten!

This is a review of the person who answers the phone, not the physician. I called because a friend highly recommended Dr. Rosengarten. Pregnant for the first time, understandably I am trying to figure out how to navigate the medical system in this regard. I called asking what the booking process is for new patients. The receptionist answered in such a shockingly rude and condescending manner. I am not upset with the information provided, but the way it was communicated. Everything was said in a retort with a tone of intolerance. She even rudely added “I don’t know who your GP is” ...(obviously, I never would have expected that). I worked in customer service for years and can’t imagine speaking to someone like that. I hope this “receptionist” takes a good hard look at the way she talks to strangers on the phone and digs deep into why she feels a need to treat people like that. Sad. The summary of what she told me was you need to be a high risk pregnancy and they’re not even taking new patients til October. I definitely am not waiting til five months pregnant to get medical care but at least this information could have been communicated in a more friendly, or heck, neutral, tone. Eeek. This one minute call was so cringy!

I have had Dr Rosengarten in the past and present as my Obstetrician or Gynaecologist. In the past, after two failed pregnancies ( one miscarriage and the other still borne), I was worried I would never carry a baby to full term. After careful research, Dr Rosengarten came highly recommended and I sought his expertise as a high risk patient. Right from day one, I felt a sense of comfort from his thorough examination of my history and detailed frequent follow ups. I never once felt rushed when I was in his office which can explain why he sometimes runs behind with appointment times. He performed a cervical cerclage which enabled me to carry my son to full term! I now have a healthy active eighteen year old son thanks to him! A few months ago, I needed a gynaecologist to deal with my fibroid and polyps problem. My doctor referred me to another gynaecologist but I was not happy with the service. I then requested to see Dr Rosengarten once again and I was glad when they took me in three months later. Once again, not only did I get the same quality service I got eighteen years ago, he is taking steps to alleviate the symptoms I have been experiencing without rushing to surgery as the previous Doctor had tried to do. Nothing about him had changed except maybe a few grey hairs on his head! He was also happy to see my son all grown up after all those years. I can honestly say that having Dr Rosengarten as both an Obstetrician and gynaecologist have been the best medical experiences I have had. He takes the time to listen, give feedback and work with your comfort zone. I have highly recommended him to my friends.

This is my second review for Dr. Rosengarten as my wife recently delivered our second son at BC Women’s Hospital (our first son was born in 2014 when we came to Vancouver from London, England; we had an emergency which was when we first met Dr. Rosengarten by pure chance – it was such a blessing!). I must say I rarely leave any reviews online as it is very hard to impress me, especially when it comes to healthcare services since I have very high standards and expectations of any professionals I deal with. However, I am happy to provide another review for Dr. Rosengarten, as he truly is an incredibly exceptional doctor and human being. Although Dr. Rosengarten did not deliver our two sons himself, he was fantastic before and after my wife went into labour, looking after her during the third trimester and always putting any concerns we had to rest. Quite frankly, Dr. Rosengarten is the only doctor in the entire world whom we trust completely (quite literally, as we have dealt with doctors in the UK, Eastern Europe, US, Canada and Australia before). In fact, we are used to double, sometimes triple checking anything a doctor says by getting a second opinion when possible, or simply googling a matter and/or advice given by health professionals. I must admit that normally we are very difficult patients to deal with, as my wife and I usually bombard doctors with constant follow up questions until they turn blue in the face. However, it has never been necessary with Dr. Rosengarten as we trust him completely. We have never doubted his expertise and have always followed his advice. We knew we were in safe hands. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Dr. Rosengarten and we cannot recommend him highly enough. The personal service from Dr. Rosengarten was first class, very knowledgeable, diligent and accurate. In my opinion (and I do not give praise easily), Dr. Rosengarten is an outstanding expert who we met by chance, who provides exceptional care for his patients. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Rosengarten for his outstanding and impressive work. THANK YOU DR. MARK! We would also like to compliment Dr. Rosengarten’s receptionist Liz for helping us liaison with BC Women’s Hospital in the most professional way possible. She did a great job from the moment we walked through the door until we had our last appointment with Dr. Rosengarten. Liz always made us feel super welcome. Overall, we would give Dr. Rosengarten 10 stars if we could! :-)

My wife, baby and I were very fortunate to have Dr. Mark Rosengarten as our obstetrician. He was very kind, caring and professional. He took the time to explain things and made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire pregnancy. Even after our baby was born, he came by our room while we were at the B.C. Woman’s Hospital every day to make sure we were okay. He really does care for his patients and is very passionate about what he does. Words can’t describe how great of a doctor he is.
