Very old school approach. Blood doctor asking about your weight, which is completely irrelevant to his specialty. When I tell him, he questions the number and makes me get on the scale. Then asks “how I feel” about my weight. Oh, I feel great, wish I was heavier, said no overweight person ever. Shaming a person when it’s no concern of yours doesn’t help someone lose weight. Heavy people know they’re heavy and likely have been struggling with it all our lives and had doctors only see weight and downplay their actual concerns constantly. My actual problem was an afterthought. Very disheartening and disappointing in 2021.
