Not sure what everyone here is talking about when it comes to the rudeness. I've never seen or experienced it before and I have been numerous times. So has my husband. The doctors are super friendly and quick, and they do listen even if they arent looking at you but typing on their computer. They are our family doctors now. Sometimes people forget to mention that maybe they weren't the best patients when they leave negative reviews lol.

We were just at this walk in clinic on a Sunday (Nov 14/21). The receptionist was very nice and efficient. The clinic was busy but she and the doctor kept it moving! We were in and out in an hour which I think is great! The doctor was kind to my daughter and we got our prescription from their pharmacy (also a very kind person!) Overall the best walk in I have been too!

It’s very hard to get hold of them for an appointment. Doctors are great but it’s always rushed, only one issue can be discussed posted on the walls. That said they are always very busy and are very efficient and friendly.

I find the wait is always pretty short. I have chosen one of the doctors here as my family doctor. My only complaint is that I can not call the clinic. The number listed is always just a fax machine sound.

Absolutely not impressed with this doctors office I suggest going somewhere else. I’m pregnant wasn’t given the proper paper work for blood work, had to go back wasn’t just printed out the paper, waited another hour just to get the paper I needed and should have received in the first place. Had and ultra sound over a week ago and have been trying to call to get some sort of results, or to be referred to an obgyn but they have not once picked up a single phone call and if I do call back twice in a row they turn the line off so I get an automated machine that says “this number isn’t receiving a call, have you tried sending a text?”. Nothing like a voice mail to call me back if you people aren’t going to answer your phones bad experience all around and I’m going to have my file transferred to a new doctors office your service I GARBAGE.

Totally unwelcoming environment on the front desk. It does not seem that you are in Canada, Dr. Bann is awesome but their receptionist are very rude. Their tone changes when they see a non white patient. Front desks employees are not professional at all. I never feel welcomed in the clinic and hesitate to talk to them. I you are talking to one receptionist and need some clarification then other receptionist will jump into the conversation with loud tone. Loud tone clearly conveys the message that either listen to them only or leave. Closing time is 7:00 pm (website also says the timings)and at 5:15pm they told me that doctor (my family doctor)can not see any patient if you do not have an appointment. Then why it is called a walk-in clinic. Front desk will not respond to your phone call. After accepting your call they will say Grey Gretzky clinic and hold for 20 minutes. New patients please find another family doctor if you are not accustomed of rude front desk experience. Totally unwelcoming front desk.

Arrived at the clinic with shortness of breath and difficulty breathing. I was examined by one of their doctors and he diagnosed me with a heart ailment. He told me to go straight to the ER and gave me a form that would send me to the front of the line. The doctors at Brantford General couldn’t figure out what was wrong. The whole episode subsided in a matter of hours and they discharged me. Weeks later I had another episode and his time went straight to the ER where an internal medicine doctor saw me and gave a proper diagnosis that matched what the doctor at this clinic told me it was. I’ve been there several times and they always do a good job. They’re very business like and kind of short on people skills but never rude or unprofessional and the wait times are very reasonable.

Great clinic. Was able to get in to see a Dr quickly and was very thorough. Staff were very kind and courteous. They have a very stressful job. They had to deal with some extremely rude and unpleasant men and were forced to call the police on them after trying to placate them. The woman on staff dealt with the situation very professionally during a very difficult situation.

Everytime I need the walk in clinic, I am so impressed with the little amount of time I have to wait to see either of the doctors! The front desk staff are friendly and professional. Both doctors are listeners and always make me feel better before I leave. I recommend the Grey Gretzky Clinic to anyone!

Receptionist are consistently disappointing at this clinic. Have a family Dr there but dealing with receptionist at this place is always a job itself. Sometimes I feel like I should change my family doctor. Since, headache you get with reception is like getting one disease for free. They need to improve big time on customer service.

The front reception staff are not wearing masks or are wearing them incorrectly. Even though there is a glass partition, that is unacceptable given the current pandemic situation (May 2021) Receptionists still don't wear face masks (as of Oct 2021)

Love the doctors and the pharmacy on site. Incredibly frustrated with how hard it is to get through on the phone though. I'll often call, immediately get put on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. This seems to be a common experience. I'm sure they are swamped with calls but seriously, hire more front desk staff to cover it.

Made an appointment with our 3 month old baby and turned us around because no health card when we have a birth paper number the government gives you when you are waiting on the card. We have been to baby clinics to have shots , been back to the hospital to get checkups with this birth paper and no issues at all. Plus this clinic wanted to charge 40 dollars if we didn’t have a card ?? C’mon seriously?. Thanks but won’t be back. In Canada the health care is supposed to be free not charge 40 dollars to meet a baby for a doctors appointment.

It was my first day in this clinic. The receptionist was good communicator, be professional. The doctor was amazing, she was not in rush. I think her name was Dr. Mahmood, something related to this word. The clinic was very cleaned. Social distancing was maintained. I was feeling safe during my check up. The doctors are great but this is the most disgusting reception I have gotten from a clinic. Very unwelcoming nurse. You wonder if the management have not noticed. Every time I visit I feel like making that my last visit but the doctor makes me want to go back. Just wondering how long I will be able to take their rudeness before I get an outburst.

I had a VERY speedy experience, less than 20 minutes, so that was good. But the doctor looked in my mouth for a 0.05 seconds then mumbled some stuff (I couldn't make out a word of what he said) and then he turned to the computer and started typing. I had to directly ask him "so what is it? Strep?" And he said yes, without looking up from the computer. I asked a few more questions, he never once looked up from the computer. I wasnt provided with a note to excuse myself from work - I wasnt even told whether I should or should not go to work. Fortunately, I have enough common sense. But it would be nice if they were just a tad more attentive and a tad more thorough when explaining the situation to their patients.

Dr. Alhadi is very good. The office has a serious problem however with accessibility via telecommunication. Phonecalls to the office are frequently not answered and left to ring on and on, or redirected to a fax line. This is very frustrating when trying to get med refills or make appointments, and clearly unacceptable for a medical centre.

I’d personally give this clinic a negative star if I could. I’ve never had anyone be so rude and condescending. I called to reschedule a vaccine as my toddler got ill from daycare and was unable to make her scheduled vaccine- I guess it was my fault for calling to reschedule I should have just stood them up. The lady at the front desk I spoke to got very rude over the phone, and to the point of raising her voice, changing her tone and immediately hanging up on me before I could confirm my new appointment. I called back and got put on hold several times, eventually I got through to someone who said she’s the manager. She answered the phone rudely, I explained the situation to her calmly she said “ma’am our telephone lines hang up on their own?” How does that make sense. She again was rude and made sure to let me know she’s been doing this for 20 years so she knows it all. I don’t feel safe going there to give my baby her vaccine anymore for her health and safety. She’s my first and I’m a first time mom so I don’t want to take the risk. I’m really disappointed because I’ve been going to this clinic for over a year. I’ve noticed rudeness a lot of times but this was the height of it. I will definitely be looking for another family doctor at this point because I can’t be dealing with the stress of a sick toddler and rude receptionist. Hopeful with all the negative comments about the receptionist on here, the doctors will actually try to do something about it. Good luck to everyone else still going here

Its seems the front desk personalities here leave much to be desired and I am not the first to say so. Your website indicates your are taking new patients, Health Connect is contacting people to let them know you are taking new patients, however when you phone you are no longer taking new patients and it was a policy passed a few days ago. Your website asks you to download a new patient form with no instructions on how to submit it. I chose to fax my form and have been patiently waiting for 2 weeks to be contacted. I finally followed up myself today and was told, 'when you don't here anything it's an indication you haven't been accepted as a patient' - that's awful to hear. I am in great health, and submitted my form prior to the 'new policy' implemented a few days ago. You have no regard for people - that was my personal information that I faxed off and you couldn't even make a courtesy call to let me know you were not interested in taking me on. The individual that answered the phone made no attempt to help me and blamed her co-worker for the lack of contact as it is the co-workers responsibility to contact new patients or individuals who have submitted forms. I hope the attention your patients receive from the doctor far exceeds the bed side manner of your front desk personnel. Lastly - your website can be updated within minutes of your change of policy - if it can't be done, hire a new web design firm - your messages are contradicting.

My family joined this med center this year. We are all so happy with the care we have received and to all the staff, we feel comfortable here. Dr Ali is wonderful and the staff on the desk and the pharmacy have made us feel very welcome at all times... I am very happy here... We always get seen the same day weather its app or walk in...hours make it very accessible. I switched as it would take me 2 months to get an app with my previous clinic... I have even referred people here who needed a doctor too, and they are happy.

While my time at the clinic was quick today (Wednesday Feb 13 @ 10:15am), I cannot say that it was painless. The woman (I'm assuming is a temp, based on her demeanour) working at the front desk was coarse, unpleasant, unfriendly and certainly unprofessional. During my wait, I even heard her sigh and make rude remarks under her breath about patients once she got off the phone with them. I don't believe I've ever encountered such an ungrateful front-line employee who seems to forget that patients in the waiting room can hear her muttering about people on the other end of the phone that she's hired to assit pleasantly and professionally. In the clinic's best interest, please do not consider hiring this obvious bottom-of-the-barrel temp worker if you hope to maintain a positive reputation. If by chance she is already hired as a permanent employee, I implore you to reconsider this choice.

The resptionists at the front desk are very rude! If you need clarification on something, they get agitated. . I needed a form signed.. everything was already filled out but just for his signature, he wanted $40. I only had credit/debit cards with me. She said "if I don't pay then I'm terminated as a patient." Of course the resptionists was very rude. My friend who was with me said we will go get money out and be right back with the money. Not even 15 minutes later we returned and so she went back and spoke to Doctor Bilal...she comes back and said, "he said it's too late, you will get a letter in the mail of termination" Of course I'm reporting him!!

This office has the most unbearable and unprofessional reception staff ever. Calling and trying to get an appointment is next to impossible because they never answer their phone; but when they do they put you on hold for ages until you hang up, call again and have the same thing happen. The way they speak to patients is unacceptable as well. The lady I spoke to at the front desk had the audacity to tell me that I had 'bothered them all day' the previous day, as I had called twice the day before I went into the office and had told them my pharmacy had faxed something over for the doctor to refill my prescription, and was told that since my family doctor wasn't in that day, they would see if the other doctor would sign off on it (which he didn't, so I had to drive from an hour away to go in only to find out they faxed my prescription that morning and didn't bother to tell me. the receptionist told me it wasn't their problem, and the doctor will not see me). Dr. Bann is a great doctor, but they definitely need to find professional reception staff that isn't miserable all the time.

If you feel the need to change docs, they will put you on a waiting list doc told me its for people currently without a doctr. Maybe they should put that on the sign. Ill keep looking.

The receptionist is very rude, discourteous, and impertinent. I called to book an appointment and I had to hold up for more than 20 minutes. I had to end the call because I wanted to verify something. I called again and I was put on hold for twenty minutes and then they hung up on me. I called one more time and I told the receptionist about the long wait and hang-up. She said 'I don't understand, how can I help you!' I repeated what I said earlier and she kept saying 'I don't understand and the service hung up on me!' She did not bother to apologize about it. She just lied about it! I recommend changing this receptionist or at least teach her some telephone etiquette, which is an essential part of her customer service job.

Hard working, competent, up to date doctors. Dr Bann is tireless and VERY approachable - she ALWAYS makes time to listen. Her skilled intervention has my medical issue under control. I have also dealt with other doctors at this location and have never received anything but good medical care. The front line staff are friendly and effective as is the on-site pharmacy. I have recommended this Medical Centre to friends and will continue to do so.

My wife called couple of times today. Receptionist put on hold couple of times and then hung up. Third time when the call was finally picked up then receptionist said, “We are very busy”. Of course you are but question is this is how you handle the calls when you are busy and hold/hung up calls on the patients. I am sure that there is a long way to go to do Customer Relationship Training for such staff. Having said that Dr Benn is amazing and great professional but its the reception desk staff that is very disappointing!

I went with my wife to see if we can get a family physician from here as we newly moved to the city. There are two receptionist one for medical and another for clinical. The lady who was seat for medical services is completely rude and non professional. I think she is racist as she saw my wife worn Hijab. She asked "hay medical or clinic?", again "medical and clinic?" She was looking at us like we are unwanted or like I did a great sin to go there. It was so rude. Me and my wife just filled the form up and left the place. If I would know that this clinic is such distasteful(in behavior) place, I would not think to go there. Simply I would say that it is our money by each and every punch of OHIP card they are getting their salary, therefore they should practice how to behave and respect every customer. I have seen lot of front desk's statue does not know how to treat people with professional manner even though they are getting job as they got some education and their English speaking. I would like to say that If you want to race, do that at your home in front of your dresser. Don't show me your disgusting face, I did not like that. Obviously I will not go there again.

Very unprofessional. Rush you out and don't listen to anything you have say. I have type 1 diabetes and I can't get a repeat for any of my prescriptions. They wont fax anything. Ignore my pharmacist. I can't get the right amount of needles to match the amount of insulin I get requiring me to make multiple visits. I have addressed this numerous times to no avail. Trying to run a family practice and a walk-in at the same time doesn't seem to work. I just got told today by the Male doctor that I wasn't his patient and to talk to my doctor (I only needed a refill). Just find another place to go. This place is just in it for the money. I would give 0 stars if I could. (Nothing like talking to the back of someone's head because they won't even turn around to talk to you)

the white receptionist lady deserves the negative star. My family doctor Dr. Boon is very nice but i had a very bad experience with that receptionist lady all the time i went there. She is really a lier, very rude and unprofessional. All the time i went there like 6-7 times she said we will call u back today within 1-2 hours we cannt arrange a doctor right now. All the time i waited and did not get any call.After waiting 3-4 hours, when i go to them she would either say ‘we were just going to call u’ or would say ‘i called u but u did not answer’ .How it can be possible that one who is waiting for their call will not answer their call. she lies all the time. Is this what our tax paying dollars are going to?? the managemnt should fire this garbage lady and put someone in place who actually enjoys their job. That’s ridiculous how she behaved with me all the time. very disappointing where our hard earned tax money is going towards.

Worst reception at a walk in I have ever been too. Some of the doctors are just as bad! They showed no human decency, literally asking me what I wanted them to do about my symptoms. It would be nice to be diagnosed, my heart rate checked, even just a idea of what I might have wrong with me. I ended up going to another doctor where they ran a few simple tests and told me I had strep throat. I was prescribed the proper medication. Since than I have felt 100% better and no longer have strep throat. I understand doctors are over worked and its a stressful time. But don’t shove people into a room, belittle the symptoms the describe and treat them like they did something wrong. When all they’ve done is come in looking for help.

Absolutely horrible reception staff! Argumentative, unhelpful, keeps you on hold for long periods of time, just to name a few. Was looking to switch family doctors, as mine was getting older and most likely closer to retirement...my experience here has completely changed my mind and I will be staying with my current family doctor for as long as possible. I would not recommend this office to anyone! Had to give them a 1 star as that is the lowest rating on here.

This practice is rather frustrating to deal with. There are 2 Drs who rotate days, and if one is your "family doctor" the one who is not will refuse to help you. You can either show up as a walkin and hope your Dr is working that day or book an appt. IF you are able to book an appt that is. I have called 4 days in a row, multiple times a day, at different times trying to book an appt to see my dr, or even have a phone appt but they NEVER answer the phone. They have signs in the back stating that you are only allowed to discuss one issue per visit. Which is rather disheartening for those who are supposed to be part of a "family practice" and have had to struggle to get in This was all happening pre covid, but it seems like it has gotten significantly worse the last few months.

Great doctor, absolutely terrible reception staff. Have been waiting a week to have diabetic prescription refilled by our family doctor only to have staff blame the pharmacy. Had the pharmacy fax the request again, follow up with the reception again to have them then yell, say the doctors too busy and it’s not their fault they only received it this morning. When it’s been a week since the first request was made you should expect your patients to be frustrated with your lack of response. If the doctor wasn’t great we wouldn’t go here but it’s tough to find a good doctor. They need to rethink their training for staff on how to handle different situations. Perhaps look at scheduling their practice in a more efficient manner so all patients whether remote or in person get the same level of importance and treatment.

They pick up the phone and say ‘grey Gretzky please hold’ and they leave you on hold for 15 minutes and at the 15 minute mark the phone will disconnect. I called 11 times one day, 17 times the next, 12 the next. Never ever got a hold of anyone. Eventually I went in and explained and one receptionists is incredibly rude. She just yells about how busy she is. If you can get an appointment be leery of the receptions who is very antagonist. You’ll know which one she is. She really seems as though she likes to make everything about herself. She will belittle and be confrontational with anyone. I would be hesitant of any doctor who allowed a woman like that to be the front line of their business. The doctors have to know this is happening and yet the leave her at the desk. Why have a doctor if you can’t get a hold of them. Why have a doctors office where the receptionist can and will go off on people just trying to see a doctor. Why walk into a doctors office feeling like the receptions acts like she’s doing you a favour by allowing you to be there.

Very rude, unprofessional unfriendly, unfair front desk temp, I guess. Reach the place at 6:30 PM and been told that they cannot accept my kid who has a broken toe. They are closing at 7 PM, been told to go to emergency without a clinch. I am a working father and I cannot spend my night and my son night to go to emergency while there is still time to see Dr. Bann Mahmood. This is not a medical clinic, this is a business to get the money from suffering people. I am wondering if one of their children will be in the same situation, what would they recommend, emergency? I will not go back there and I will continue to give them bad reviews until they close their doors. I am not recommending this cruel medical establishment until they will change their attitudes. Too bad that there are not zero stars to choose...heartless stuff running a medical business...Hyprocrate will turn in his grave to see this behavior today ????

Flight Risk

An example of ineptitude and mismanagement. And a place of waste..for your tax dollars. I waited 4 months to hear back about a referral appointment from this office with a field specific doctor. Finally called them back..and they said they would try again.TWO years later..I get a call. then instead of just sending me to redo ultra sounds , its been two years after all , I'm required to show up at their office just to get an updated requisition for new ultrasounds. To then go somewhere else to actually do the ultrasounds. During a pandemic. When they could easily call in the request without another appointment. Don't go here for anything more serious than a cold or rash. The doctor was obnoxious the first time, I can only imagine she hasn't gotten any better.
