I like my doctor who is located in this building, and it's convenient having a pharmacy, blood and ultra sound testing all in the same building. But that's where it ends. The technicians in the blood testing clinic are not friendly and the ultra sound tech looks bored to death and that spoils the already dreaded visit. Being nice or friendly or both doesn't mean you're weak, it means you're someone I'd like to know. I hate getting my blood tested there but I have little choice due to Covid and diabetes. Also $4.00 to park? WTH!!! Crazy price! I'll stop venting now. ????

I have been seeing the same doctor here for 36 years, I have never had a problem getting to see my doctor, especially when my children were little. They are awesome!!!

Only ever experienced incompetence and unprofessionalism from the reception staff here and the Doctors lack of returning calls or even refilling basic prescriptions for necessities like asthma inhalers. Like the Canadian Health Care system in general, this place is a farce.

My family physician is not great. I had a major heart attack and have 2 stents in - so blood clotting is an issue. I told my physician I was having blood clots quarter sized approx. from any time that I cut myself accidentally. His response was that I should only come to him if I start bleeding out of my eyes/ears/nose. I had recurring tongue ulcers for 2 years, I asked him about them multiple times and asked if it could be cancer and he told me that people should be so lucky that cancer would go away and come back and that of course it wasn't. I visited my dentist a few months ago and he saw my tongue and referred me immediately for a biopsy - I guess some people aren't that lucky.

My family has been going here for 10 to 15 years now, never had any issues with staff. Parking is paid parking but there is street parking near by. Building is old and outdated could use a face lift but not a big deal.. Only real issue is having to wait a little while to get in for an appointment sometimes.

I was new to Brantford and thought this clinic would be great due to the variety of services offered. Fast forward a few years later and I can say that I'm very disappointed. The office is doing virtual appointments during COVID which is great, but won't give you an appointment time or range, they just tell you "the doctor will call at some point on [date]". So get ready to sit by your phone... (in about 2 weeks time). More aggravating is that they have not followed up on a very serious health concern that has been raised on multiple occasions. I have left numerous voicemails (as instructed by my physician) with no resolution other than being told to keep calling. My physician certainly does not seem to care about me as a patient, or my well-being. I'm made to feel like an idiot, an inconvenience - very dismissive and at times, rude during appointments.

Went there yesterday with a refural to an Obgyn with a high risk issue I don't believe my appt was even booked with an actual OBGYN And the only thing that was mentioned about my high risk issue was "ya that shouldn't happen" In 19 days I went from a caution stage to a high risk stage and whoever I saw yesterday didn't touch me or care why I was refered and said she would look into the issue in 1.5 months...going by how fast it's progressing I don't have 1.5 months Fyi I'm 26 weeks and was asked after being refured from a doctor if I even wanted to keep my baby girl

Absolutely the worst medical experience of my life. This place my even be worse the the Brantford general. While I'm there talking to the receptionist trying to make an appointment she hands me a peice of paper and tells me that I need to make my appointment online ...... I'm right in front of you. Is you job do hard your not able to make an appointment. This place is utterly useless. If a doctor ever sends me here aging I will definitely be refusing to have my medical exams done there and request somewhere else. Don't waste your time here

I have been going to Avenue Medical Centre my whole life 35+ years. The Dr.s here are excellent and genuinely caring! Staff members I have encountered very helpful and friendly.

Gone 3 times over two years, each time the staff were rude. This last time they wouldn't make an appointment for me because my doctor was away until the 27th and they just encouraged me to come into the after hours clinic between 4:30pm and 8pm. I did but they said they couldn't sign me in because they had a limit of 15 people and they were at there maximum amount of patients for the night

The people that answer the phones are robotic, and unpleasant. The doctors are fine if you ever get to see them. I like my doctor. But the after hours clinic is a joke and when it comes to flexibility- that word doesn't exist within their business. You tell them your availability and they offer everything you can't work with which shows they don't listen. They don't work you they just prescribe what they want and when it comes down to listening and putting patients first they just can't do it. No regard for time- appointments are never near on time, you're never informed of anything, and when it comes down to having you're entire quality of life or general health being dependant upon these people you will be completely screwed. They're messing with my health because they can't prioritize or accomodate me what so ever. They don't cancel appointments you ask to cancel and they book appointments they offer you over voicemail without any confirmation or response in general. This is a business resigned to fail. I can't wait to find a doctor that doesn't put me on whatever medication they want with complete disregard to my needs or wants and can actually get me in at the end of my two week trials to actually follow up and provide basic care that should be expected. Dr Donaldson is fantastic and should have her own practice. Everyone else is fairly disposable.

I've never been so ignored in all my life. I waited for results to see if I had cancer and was promised a phone call within 10 days.....nothing. I couldn't attend my 6 week follow-up because my grandson was sick. Asked for a phone call instead....nothing.I was told I had to wait until July for a phone call. I finally got to see her months after my procedure and was tested for a bladder infection and I had one. I was told yet again I would receive a phone call and a prescription could be sent that day to my pharmacy. Again nothing. I had to go 4 days in pain and still have never received any help at all what so ever. I've never felt more invisible in my life and will be going back to London for proper medical treatment.

If you want a doctor who cares about you this is not the place. I've been trying to get a hold of my doctor for months now and everytime I've been brushed under the rug and told my concerns were basically not important. I've been trying to get an appointment since February and I was promised by a receptionist that a doctor would call me late August to book me in for the beginning of September. I never recieved a call so I have again tried reaching out to a receptionist. Ended up having to switch doctors because I'm tired of the receptionist not doing their jobs and my doctor not caring enough for him to see me. I understand it being overwhelming because of covid and lockdowns but 9 months is ridiculous.

Both receptionists and my family doctor at this place DO NOT FOLLOW UP AT ALL, NO CALL-BACK EITHER. I keep trying to get my doctor to get the job done, but it's been taking forever. Also it seems like the communication between doctors and receptionists is poor. I am tired of this low service quality. It's kinda same at any medical place around here. Not many medical places show care. I am very disappointed with Avenue Medical Centre.

When i get to see the doctor everything is good but i wait 6 weeks to see her only to be cancelled 2 hours before my appointment, would mind but it the 3rd time its happen to me, if i miss any appointment they tell me i will have to pay a fee.

I really never felt a bond or connection with the nurses or OB DR here. Very cold experience from reception to Dr appointment . all business no personal relations. It’s hard to even tell if they enjoy your presence as a patient. It’s the little things that go a long way .. and this place just doesn’t really give that vibe . Best of luck with the amount of medical gaslighting that you will experience.

Have been trying to get in to see my doctor for about 3 months now. All I get is being put on hold and listening to elevator music with frustration. This morning it was almost 45 minutes on hold until I finally gave up. If Dr. KO sees this , please call me. I have bronchitis again I believe. What a nightmare!
