Starting from Yasmeen, who takes care of the appointments and blood work efficiently and eases patients into the process, Samreen who first sees patients and provides comfort with her caring demeanor and writes citations for the doctor after understanding patients concerns with her impeccable patience, up until Dr. Hussaini, who's kind, energetic, positive and always smiling regardless of her workload, the patient goes out of the clinic feeling much better and confident that they're in good hands. I see some patients sometimes creating a scene around wait times, but you need to know that Dr. Hussaini does not rush with patients and examines them physically, mentally and emotionally and provides care with utmost affection and so does her supporting team. All we need to do as patients is be a little patient!!

There’s literally no point in booking an appointment here. Be prepared to wait for at least 4 hours if you want to see the doctor. Some of the people are very rude here, there’s only 2-3 checking rooms and people waiting here way too much. Not satisfied by making them my family doctor, going to change soon. ????

The reason I'm giving one star is because Dr. Hussaini is a good doctor. But the clinic is not at all professional by any means. You can throw being organized out of the window too. Since I've registered Dr. Hussaini as my family doctor, I've had 3 appointments, all of them utterly disappointing. The wait time is just a waste of time. The staff has absolute disregard for your time. They just tell you to keep waiting. I can understand the waiting if I were a walk-in customer, but all 3 times I had booked appointments and had to wait for atleast 3-4 hours to finish my visit. From what I've experienced, the main reason for this organizational disorder is that each and every customer is considered as a walk-in, even though appointments are booked. Another reason would be that they take in more appointments that they can manage in a day and to make things worse, they accept the walk-ins too which then turns into disaster. Their MO explained (based on my 3 visits) : Show up 5min before the time of appointment, go to Yasmeen (the front desk lady) and inform her you are here to see the doctor. She tells you to wait (which is for at least 1hr) during which, whenever you ask about your turn, you are asked to wait patiently since the doctor is busy with other patients. When finally they deem you worthy, you are told to sit in one of the rooms and told the doctor would see you in that room. This is probably a private joke between the May-Van staff coz you will have to wait at least another hour till you see the doctor. My last straw was when this same process was done on my 2 month old son when I went to get his vaccination. We had to wait for 2 hours, at the end of which I walked out with my son without getting the vaccination. This place is a joke and I would never in my life recommend this place to anyone.

Wish I had no star option, just wondering doctors are normally well educated and polite ppl. My conversation with Dr Hussaini started with she yelling " listen" we r dr clinic and v supposed to be busy if u can't wait go some where else. Keeping in mind I booked an appointment online a week before and that was the first appointment 1000hrs. Got break from work to get checked and asked about at 1045hrs and got this reply.....she definitely don't need more custom but hope she won't send the bill to authorities that she hv seen the patient. Rest assure I will make sure she won't!

Nothing against the doctor but I went with my 1 year old kid who was suffering from the splinter in his feet. The receptionist said they are not taking walk-ins and only treating their register clients. Very strange. I then called the Ontario help line for walk-in clinics and figured that it is not the best practice and should be reported.

I really liked the way the staff takes care of you, completely different from my experience at other clinics where you are considered a bother than a patient. Special mention to Nimreen and receptionists. We are so glad to have Dr. Hussaini as our Family Physician! Attached Pharmacy is very helpful. They were able to fill my prescriptions in a timely fashion. I would like to appreciate Ms Shahida and Mr Imran for their help in sourcing the medicines that were not available. When I did n't have my ride, they graciously delivered the medicines to my home. I highly recommend May-Van Medical Centre! Sasi

Dr Husseini is one of the best, if not the best, doctor I've had in my life. I am not exaggerating. She is one of the rare doctors who genuinely cares about her patients and she remembers the smallest details about you. Horrible communication. I waited for 2 hours with my kids to see the doctor. I was originally told it would be 30 minutes wait. If they don't accept walk in patients they should be upfront and communicate that before we waited for such a long time not after the ridiculously long wait.

Great clinic overall. Sometimes it takes a bit long to get back results from blood tests - I had to call them back to get it myself. Wait times are also a bit long. Dr. Saira is quite thorough, friendly, explains well and takes her time with patients.
