Worst clinic by far.. Signed on to become a patient and was treated horribly and dismissed by what i would call a lazy doctor. She did nothing on her own including the first interview. She rushed though my appointment and showed absolutely no interested or care. I terminated her as my doctor and find another doctor who takes the time with his patients and hearing them out.. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I've been a patient here for probably 4 years and I've seen Dr. Felipe Ramirez maybe twice. I always see the student doctor on my annual check ups and she was great. I never actually had any medical emergencies, just checkups as I have been healthy. This year I started suspecting something was wrong. It has been HELL trying to get tests done, have them call me with follow ups and to book a PAP Test! 1. The receptionist feels rushed on the call because they don't have enough staff. 2. It takes a month to book an appointment and if something is painful and you go to the Emergency room the hospital messes up your testing. 3. Phone call appointments are rushed. I felt like I had to be stern with them to take their time to listen to my symptoms. 4. I had to suggest for things to look at. They didn't even try to go above and beyond, bare minimum. 5. No follow-ups on all my tests that I finally received. If I don't receive better care I will have to look for another doctor. UPDATE: The Doctor doesn't see me but the Doctor's Assistant? does and I feel heard and not rushed. She carefully explains my options and double checks information.

All I can say is wow! Not impressed with the communication and customer service from the receptionist there, I haven't been to my doctor there in quite a long time, so I go in for my appointment not realizing that my health card was expired because well I haven't looked at it since the last visit there probably almost 2 years ago. All the receptionist said was "there's a charge for that" and then says "if you rebook you can get a refund" so after working all day and then driving across the city to my appointment at 7:00 at night needles to say I wasn't very pleased and left the office quite upset! But Super quick to charging my credit card for the discrepancy. Just poor customer service! It's sad in my opinion.

Review for Family Doctor, Tatiana Felipe-Ramirez and staff. - Do not go here, steer clear. Staff is rude, unprofessional, and quite frankly irritating. Show the least bit of irritability due to their triple booking of patients, that have had you waiting there for hours, and they will threaten to cancel your appointment. Physicians assistants are frankly useless since they need the doctor to go over anything other than a general check up, so you best believe if you need a referral or to talk about how your medication is garbage, you'll end up waiting another hour AT LEAST to see the doctor that you came to see in the first place. The doctor, if you'll call her that, is strangely fond of natural remedies and herbal supplements that will do absolutely nothing for you, especially if you are suffering from conditions like colitis, chronic severe depression, or shingles. She is a sore excuse for a doctor, and should you suggest or ask for anything of her that is not what she believe you need, you will be met with the harsh reality that she isn't interested in anything more than speeding through your appointment and getting her cheque at the end of the day. Oh yes, and this is after you've waiting, and essentially begged for an appointment approx. 2 months ago. So not only are you begging to be seen by a sub par, "professional", but you're also apparently asking to be patronized by condescending medical and administrative staff. And when you do finally get in and receive horrible service, try to tell them something about it. I assure you they'll promptly bring you paperwork stating they're releasing you from their care, and to go find another family doctor. After you've waited three hours to see them. Just don't do it. Even a one star is too high for you.

I had to take a moment to express my gratitude. Our youngest daughter ( 2 ½) fell Ill and we rode it out, until we hit the 3 week mark. She had a holding fever of over 103, diarrhea & full body rashes. We had 2 hospital visits where xrays were taking, a catheter was inserted, and 2 rounds of antibiotics were given. Nothing was found to be wrong on her tests, they were mainly looking for pneumonia and a UTI, nor did the antibiotics fully work they just told us 'shes fighting off something we can see it'll pass'. Now hitting a 2 month mark with these symptoms (at times the symptoms would seem to be on the mend in between antibiotic treatments, but they never fully left) I felt so lost, how were none of these doctors finding out what was causing this in my poor daughter. I presented these ongoing issues to Dr. Ramirez and without missing a beat she had tests lined up in her office that the hospital didn't even bother to do, she also sent us for bloodwork just to rule out everything and be sure. Turns out she had an ear infection, strep throat and a UTI! We were given stronger antibiotics to clear up what was present right away but was also told something that I never heard anyone say to us, let alone hearing it from my doctor. STOP DAIRY! Now without sounding rude I thought that was crazy, my mind set is like most others, we grew up on milk and that's how we get calcium, right? I was so desperate and took her advice, I just wanted my daughter better! Withing 3 days, let me repeat that 3 DAYS she was a completely different child! I'm talking not only her symptoms were gone but her skin, and overall demeanor was different! I didn't believe it, right away! We're on 3 months completely dairy free as a family and I'm absolutely shocked still. Now let me clarify something, her bodys bad reaction to dairy caused the consistency of her mucus to thicken which in return caused her immune system to always be compromised and her little body would catch everything! Before getting very sick she had a constant clogged/runny nose year round, she was always 'uneasy' and had constant coming and going unexplained rashes. I would have never believed this or even taken her advice to go dairy free if I wasn't so lost on how to make my child better. Let's just put it this way, when we go to the doctors our minds are always on 'what pill/medication can they prescribe us to get better etc' but instead of pushing things for a quick fix my doctor went to the heart of the issue, change your diet, it's as simple as that. I think I have to preach because she didn't try to just shove medication at me and my respect for her grew substantially. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, truly. Our whole family is dairy free now and we have never felt better! So very happy to have this incredible Doctor and team caring for my family. I've always been given a friendly, happy environment and the upmost professional experience every visit. Thank you very much! Also, I have to say Janelle is one amazing nurse practitioner, I love how she is friendly, calm, and most of all takes her time to listen and throughly explains everything to us! We always look forward to your incredible bedside manner ♡

They never answer the phones. Phone system is a mess and when you leave a message for a return call like requested on there answering machine they do Not call back. Horrible customer service but the doctor is great if you can see her

I've been a patient for years. Waiting 30-120minutes to actually be called in is unacceptable The attitude you get from the receptionist whenever you ask a question is unacceptable. The doctor is rarely there and when he is she rushes through and doesn't take the time to listen. And if you call to make an appointment be prepared to wait 2-6 weeks. I will be pulling out of this doctor's office. Enough is enough.

Have been coming here for 5 years, and have never been unhappy. Occasionally a long wait, but that's normal at any doctor's office. I have been squeezed in multiple times for more pressing health concerns. I have never had a rude experience with any staff here. Always friendly, always quality care.

I encourage everyone that’s experienced unacceptable wait times and rude service to write a review about their experience. I know there is a room full of you every time I show up for an “appointment”. I encourage this because apparently they don’t believe there’s a problem. You’d be better off going to a walk-in clinic than setting an appointment here. You’ll have to wait a month to get in, but that appointment won’t stick. They’ll call and reschedule several times because “the doctor isn’t in that day”. Write your reviews people, it’s the only way they’ll change.

I have a laundry list of things I could write. My last straw was today I have reorganized my entire day to bring my daughter in for her check up (which is 3 months overdue because of rescheduling, cancelled appointments, etc). I show up to the appointment and not a single person is there ! Lights are off and no one home! I did not even receive a phone call informing me of this! Very unprofessional.

I honestly don’t even know what to say at this point. I was scheduled for an appointment over a week ago via telephone. Not only did they not call the correct number on file (I literally gave it to them) but they had me under a consult that had nothing to do with what I called for. I understand times are crazy right now but I seriously don’t know how it could have been messed up that poorly.

I was supposed to get a call yesterday but they never called me until hours later and then only said I would be called today. When they called today, I was talked over, and the phone call was literally ONE minute. ONE!! For a doctors appointment!! and then they hung up. I told them about my headaches, wasn’t able to explain anything about it and then they decided the appointment was over. A waste of time, and now I will continue to be in pain with headaches that aren’t resolved with any pain medications. Always rushed, barely get a chance to speak. I don’t really have a choice but to keep coming here because no one else is taking patients.

Frustrated to say the least. Constantly forced to go to a walk-in clinic instead of my supposed “family” doctor because every time you call to book an appointment, you have to wait 3-4 weeks if not more to be seen. This is unacceptable. I think the focus of the clinic has change to more anti-aging procedures, not health and wellness of the patients. Positives: Janelle is an excellent Physicians assistant. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

I had originally given a not too flattering review based on my first couple of experiences and the phone messaging service that I could never get through? However, Dr. T Ramerez is awesome! She listens to her patients and her assistants are so very helpful and professional. I’m very happy to find this new clinic after years of having no family doctor and having to use walk-in clinics. It’s a one stop health care clinic with everything from yoga to nutrition and everything in between.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DOCTOR! Do NOT go to this uncaring, belligerent, rude, ruthless, lazy, very incompetent doctor. I wouldn't even call her a doctor. She doesn't know a thing about anything. All she does is order tests and sends referrals. The doctors she sends you to are just as incompetent and unhelpful as she is. She is very condescending. All she can say is "I don't know" She is very vindictive. Takes about a month to get in to see her just for her to say don't you see I have a room full of patients I don't have the time for this go ask doctor so and so. She's a law suit waiting to happen. My son is still waiting on vascular imaging after a year. She says she's going to send referrals and doesn't even do it. She never reads test results. She has a huge staff turn over. She was my doctor for 18 months and has had so many new front staff members that I can't keep count. If you actually do get any time with her, she will roll her eyes at you and say ya ya ya I know I know. Don't ask her a question because she won't know the answer to it. She doesn't have a clue about medications at all, and hopefully your'e not in pain because when she's not telling you that its in your head she will refuse to treat the pain and will tell you that it's your fault and to learn to live with it. She is more about esthetic's and if you're sick and just don't look great in her eyes she will make you feel like your'e not good enough to be in her presence. I feel sorry for anyone who decides to see her. Her physician assistance are nice but I have seen her scold one of her P.A's which is very unprofessional. She is so over the top and unprofessional that the specialists she refers you to will refuse her referrals or will mock her or make fun of her . She has a horrible reputation among other doctors in the community. Please do not go to this woman. She will not be of any assistance to you. You will end up in worse condition than you are now. Find yourself a real doctor. She is not a doctor by any definition of the word. She has yelled at her patients. She will make you feel like your'e in public school again being bullied. She IS a bully. She has no heart and soul. That is just my experience however, I have heard A LOT of other people concur what I am saying including other medical professionals. It is that bad! Do yourself a favor., if you care about yourself, your self esteem, your mental health and your overall well being, please do not go to this doctor.

Dr. Felipe Ramirez is the best doctor that I have ever been to in my life. She's a very kind and caring doctor and she really does care about his patients. Making an appointment is unbelievably easy, and her staff is just amazing! They are all so kind... The office is very nice and clean, I love everything about Dr. Felipe Ramirez's practice, and I am very glad I found her.

I agree with all the comments and this is very helpful for anyone looking for a doctor. Even before the pandemic the over booking and lack of sensitivity is definitely a concern. I know someone who asked a question and was dropped as a patient because this Dr didn't like the way they asked. All along the patient was feeling uncomfortable and just biting their tongue because they didn't think they could stand up for themselves. And then as soon as they did she no longer serviced their health mid treatment. Very unprofessional.

This office constantly always over books and never has any space for weeks even if it is for a 2 year old who needs to see the doctor that day or next. Never any slots open, reception always tells you to go to the clinic instead. This has happened over and over again. The entire point of having a family doctor is to be able to get seen and not wait hours in a clinic. I've never had a doctor who didn't have spots open for unexpected sickness

The receptionists are extremely rude and condescending. It takes AT LEAST a month to get an appointment and even then you still need to wait an hour and a half past your appointment time once you get there.. I booked an appointment recently that i had been waiting for 4 weeks to go to, and when I got there at my scheduled appointment time they told me it was gunna be an hour and a half wait a least and that I could go back home and they would call me ( I dont live close by) or offered me another appointment a month away again.. I declined both and left.. also when the covid outbreak first came to ontario, I had to wait 2 hours with my newborn son in a waiting room jam packed full of people.. needless to say we are looking for a new doctors office.

Our family has been with Dr Ramirez and Mapleview Medical Clinic nearly since they opened the centre. The whole team is great and after a recent medical issue I decided to post this review because I feel people should know. I called in after finding that the ER had a 5+ hour wait time, They squeezed me in about 1 hour later. I met with Janelle, and was immediately given orders for tests to be completed that day. Afterwards they called me with instructions and assisted me through the rest of the necessary steps. I was told by the specialists that Mapleview Medical team was very thorough and seem shocked at their process. They told me to be thankful for such a good team. Thanks Janelle, Dr Ramirez and Mapleview Medical I appreciate you and your team!

So I had a telephone appointment with Dr. Ramirez. I am having a procedure done this month by my urologist. Unfortunately I found out the day before that my urologist is leaving her practice April 1 and her replacement would be in office July 1st. So I asked Ramirez who would take care of me after surgery as far as test results were concerned.. She proudly informed me that she would recieve the results..I then voiced my concerns over that because she is the worst doctor for following up after testing.. When I voiced this concern the doctor had hung up on the call so the nurse had to try to get her back on the call. When she was back she said that she was more then competent to handle my results. As the conversation continued I realized she had no idea who was doing the procedure or even what the procedure was. I informed her it was a biopsy and again expressed my concerns about my after care. She then informed me that if I wasn't comfortable she was done being my doctor and my medical file will be available on the 19th. So I then realized that I hadn't got the results for a MRI on my knee that was done done in January. She told me that I had a tear in my knee when I asked her what do do about it she stated whatever I wanted!. So I have been in touch with the college of physicians and surgeons and was able to recieve paperwork from them to make a formal complaint with them. So that is my next step. Please be so careful with this doctors office. Your health is your responsibility! Curious how many of her parents believe that she is even in the country in right now? Just curious!

I left this clinic after experiencing unacceptable wait times and rude staff on multiple occasions. They truly don’t care and purposely schedule as many clients as possible. I recently needed a note from my previous doctor for the CRA, so I sent them the government request last week and was asked to pick up the note today. When I arrived they charged me $20 for a simple letter listing my daughters previous appointments! No mention of such charge in any of our communications prior. No charge from my current doctor for the same. Absolutely ridiculous! But I shouldn’t expect anything less from this “clinic”. Avoid this place like the plague! Its a shame businesses like this are able to exist.

Awful practise. I can rarely get an appointment within a month. They are completely overbooked. If you have a minor issue that needs to be addressed quickly, forget it. You're told to go to the walk in clinic. At this point I might as well just use the walk in clinic as my primary doctor because its quicker to go there and I always get told to go anyways. The only real use I got out of her is using her to get referred to specialists. Any other issues I have I have no choice but to go to the walk in clinic. Even if you do manage to get an appointment you're waiting in the waiting room for an hour, in fact I have literally spent 3 hours waiting for a quick appointment. Thankfully I booked that day off. Nobody should have to book a full day off to go to the doctor because they can't stick to the appointment time they give you (because they're overbooked to begin with). Don't bother booking an appointment before work.. Ive been telling myself they're better than no doctor, but at this point its like I don't have a doctor anyways. Ive been a patient since the clinic opened. I feel I have to put up with subpar health care because there are no family doctors anymore in barrie that aren't full. I wish there were more family doctors in Barrie. Stay away.

Have nothing to say about tge Doctors but the reception yes, they never answer the phone it doe so even ring goes straight to “ the person you have called is not available right now” and you keep calling and calling and calling and always the same thing its like they take the phone of the hook specially in the evening, i have a UTI and the reception told me she was going to send the prescription to the pharmacy right away, i went there 1.5h after and no prescription and then i called and called and called nothing simply don’t understand maybe the stories of what they did during the weekend are more interesting.

Absolutely useless doctor, she do what she wants. Rude as well as her staff. Avoid this place, it’s better not to have a family doctor than have her - you will not see her anyways and will go to walk-in clinic.

What's the point of an appointment time if your going to show up 10mins early and still wait over an hour? There is also a wait time in the months trying to get a family Dr. For an infant. Easier just making the 30min drive to Toronto and not having any of these issues. The whole atmosphere felt like they were treating their service like a gift to allow you to use them. 1 hour 20 mins I walked out with out seeing anyone. Totally wasted half a day. I figure a Dr and their representative staff could get basic time management right.

Avoid at all costs or enjoy the wait staring at the cosmetic posters and commercials.That said doctors are gods and goddesses in this country so we might as well keep bowing.

I haven't seen dr. filipe ramirez(slivko) in over a year, it's always her physician assistant (Janelle is terrible and extremely rude), the office always calls me and cancels my appointments the day before because "no one is in the building to see me". The dr. laughs at your concerns and brushes them off. Very unprofessional and rude. I am actively looking to switch doctors. Also, the nurse Shaunna is rude as well. She needs to learn some bedside manors.

I have been thoroughly impressed with the services here, from the very beginning. After switching family doctors, I was very nervous about the procedure of finding a new doctor as we all know this can be challenging. The employees here were fast and knowledgeable. I was in within a week and seeing the doctor. I have been consistently treated with kindness, care, and consideration during my visits- not only by the medical team, but the clerical staff as well. They are always up to date on my prescriptions, so I’ve never had to wait for medication. Dr. Felipe Ramirez is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for her patients. This can certainly be echoed to her PA’s and the rest of her staff. All I can say is thank you so very much, Mapleview Medical. ♥️

In this doctor's office there are 5 signs about beauty stuff plus a TV playing an ad for fat freezing or something on loop and one sign explaining why add physician assistant ie why we never see our doctor. The waiting room is full with all appointments no walk ins because they overbook. Hardly any of will actually see the doctor. This place is all about making money

I won’t be returning after my experience today. I’ve been going to rameriz for over a year now and they are CONSTANTLY overbooked, calling to reschedule appointments, and there are extremely long wait times. Never have I been able to book an appointment for within a week. The only slots available are 2 weeks+ from when you’re calling. I had my original appointment set up for January 29th for a FOLLOW UP. I then received a call saying the doctor was unavailable and their only open slot was for 2 weeks from the 29th. I’ve been waiting 6 weeks for this appointment. Upon arriving at my appointment for the time scheduled. I was sat waiting for over an hour before I was sat in a room for 10 more minutes. I ended up walking out because I was scheduled to start work soon. I received zero warning for the wait and I received zero apology for the long wait either, even after expressing my frustration. I will not be returning.

I never write reviews for anything but I have to say something about this place. I know nothing I say will change but maybe I can forewarn anyone who is thinking about going here. I didn't do my search before using their services as I always do, my mistake. Just look at the starts and make your own conclusions. I have never been treated like the way Dr. Ramirez and nurses did. Super bad customer service and no empathy. I have met more moms with the exact same experience as mine but I can't write their names or say something on their behalf. Hopefully they do one day....

I am 20 weeks pregnant, have called numerous times to book an appointment so I can get a referral for an OB, I get a call saying make sure I follow up with my OB about my scan, I said I'm still waiting on my referral, I've never seen anyone in your office yet, and she sounded surprised and said she would follow up with the doctor. So now here I am thinking something is wrong with my unborn baby and the office is now closed, ill be calling a few times a day until I get an answer. Stay away from this clinic if you are looking for a good family doctor.

Trying to get an apointment when your feeling sick is impossible if your an adult. A few weeks wait atleast. They have taken my 2yr old daughter in pretty quickly though which was great. I always request Janelle even if Dr Slivco is available. (Which is never anyway) She is very good with my daughter and very comfortable to talk with. Had a meet and greet for my son in which I had to wait 1.5 hrs. Ended up leaving. I was told that everyone's "meet and greet" times vary. In my eyes they are booking an apointment every 15mins. If they are finding they are behind 5-6 apointments, they shouldn't be booking that many in a day. And my meet and greet was literally 5mins. They should limit them to 15mins and if more time is needed,book an apointment to come back. Consideration for people's schedule is non existent. I've also had 2 mix ups with my file. VERY CONCERNING!!! Was told I missed an apointment for something very serious, and in the end of me going through 3 different receptionists to figure out what they were talking about, found out the first girl was reading the wrong file!! I even gave her all my info and she still managed to read the wrong thing. Always double check with this office.

Dr Slivko Ramirez should be reported for negligence. Her hours of operation alone indicate she has better things things to do than concern herself with her medical patients. The phone message at the office even states they have set up the phone system not to take calls, and yet email communication is heavily ignored as well. She only cares about her skin care patients and completely ignores her medical patients. I have been with her for about 7 years or more. I have never even met her, unless you count her popping her head in to the office to compliment the shirt I was wearing before she vanished again. Even when I was going through a few years of a rare condition that was causing a lot of disruption in my life and mental and physical discomfort, she never saw me or inquired about my condition. Every time I try to get a hold of the office it takes a week or longer for someone to get back to me. When I needed an appt that absolutely required an in-person visit she tried to schedule me over Zoom. Most recently, I have not heard back from my appt request in five days and have gone to make an appt with telus Health instead. I'll be firing her as a doctor and I recommend anyone else with a bad review of her do the same. It's probably best for all involved. If Health Connect sets you up with this Dr for a new doctor, don't accept it and demand a different one.

You’re just a number here. Wait times are ridiculous and I had an appointment that they booked for me, written on a card, but when I showed up it wasn’t in the system. I drove a long way for nothing. They wouldn’t see me. Lots of mistakes are made. I also hate when receptionists are not friendly.
