I can't say enough great things about the folks at Laser Health Works in Barrie. I have been going since the beginning of 2020, initially starting with some injectables to minimize lines in my brow area. I now get these regularly, along with laser treatments on my face and most recently have started laser hair removal. All of the team members are absolutely amazing! I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at Laser Health Works. I visited the Barrie location a couple of months ago to have a few moles removed - two that were on my neck. Years ago, I had a mole on my back removed that left a HUGE scar so naturally I was afraid of this happening again. I honestly cannot even pinpoint where the two moles were that I had removed at Laser Health Works because I have no scars from either of them whatsoever. There was absolutely no pain either. A small amount of local freezing was used beforehand which was nearly painless as well. All I did was leave a bandaid on for a few days with polysporin and made sure to keep the area out of the sun. I just rebooked today to have the last two remaining that I've been wanting removed and can't wait! All of the ladies are so lovely as well. Thank you Laser Health Works :)

Can't say enough about the quality of the laser hair removal. I've had friends who have had this done elsewhere with poor results. The diode laser is incredible. Not only was I impressed with the amount of hair removed with just one treatment, but the remaining hair came back in so much finer than before. As someone with very course hair, this means the itchiness of the hair growing back in after shaving is gone. I should have done this 10 years ago! Thanks so much to Dr. Barb and her staff!

Dr.Barb makes you feel comfortable and answers all your questions. Even on her busiest days she takes her time to go over everything with you. You never feel like you’re being rushed out of the clinic without answers. I had botox done,,, it turned out exactly how I expected it to! Such an amazing experience, I came here for a CO2 Laser treatment to remove a minor blemish, the procedure itself was about 15 minutes, but I ended up being at the clinic for close to 2 hours speaking with everyone because they're all so friendly! Staff are very knowledgeable, they provided me with detailed information sheet for post-procedure care. Went in for a consult for Metvix photo dynamic therapy. This is the only clinic that I found online to do Metvix in the Barrie area. All the staff were great. I showed up a few minutes early and they took me in early. Dr. Barb spent time explaining the pros and cons of the procedure. I went back a week later for the procedure. The entire experience and patient service was fantastic and I would highly recommend this clinic.

The cool sculpt is a BIG waste of money at this clinic, unless, maybe you want to pay twice, apparently all the positive results are two sessions on the same body parts., but who would be stupid enough to pay for nothing twice. Except the employees pictures, they have all had it done twice and had results. (sure), a little trip photography? I know they didn't show my before and after pics! I first went in for a "quote" on my tummy fat and the fat on my thighs. The person who consulted said I didn't have enough fat on my belly to do the procedure as the suction had to grab a large amount. She said the large fat areas on my thighs were muscle so she couldn't do either procedure. I was disappointed. I have lived with that extra bump my thighs and a huge gut all my life. I scar very badly keloid, so I can't have cosmetic surgery or lipo suction. When leaving the consolation disappointed, the doctor came out of her office a the same time I was leaving, and I just happened to say, I can't have the procedure done that i was hoping, darn it. She says "come into my office" I walk into this very large, beautiful office (the rest of the place is a dive, curtains and cot where you have your procedure) and she closes the door.. She says, "oh yes we can fix that". $2,500 later, nothing, no change. I am not a shallow person, I do not waste money. I scar very badly, I keloid, so cosmetic surgery is not an option. When I saw the commercial for cool sculpt, I thought it was the answer to the two things I cannot change, no matter how much I exercise, and it's embarrassing and everyone notices. When I was leaving, I heard a girl at the counter say, "I haven't noticed anything" and the girl at the counter says "oh? that's too bad". When I came back for the after pictures, there was no change, I was pissed. The doctor comes in to measure the difference, ZERO. And the pain I experienced days after? unbelievable. But they don't tell you that. I would never do it again, even if it worked. So when I complain that I have had no change, the doctor comes in and they decided that my fat things on the side cannot be removed, there was no where they could put the paddles that it wouldn't take away part of my but. Exactly what the girl said on my consultation. They move it here and there discussing , maybe it would work here. I said "I can't afford to pay this again", and the doctor says, "I didn't say you would have to, just let me finish", I'm thinking "Ok, so she is going to do it again at no charge?" Even though, I don't think I would go through the pain again even so, and take time off work again. I really just wanted my money back, but I knew that would never happen, but I didn't even suggest it, I should have. The doctor leaves the room and goes into her office. The consultant stays with me for a bit and it becomes obvious that the doctor is not coming back. Then the doctor called the consultant into her room. I'm thinking they are working out a deal. I wait for a bit and it's the end of the day, and no one is coming into the curtain area where I am waiting. I felt like the place was closing up, so I went through the curtain to the reception desk, which is also nice (the girl at the counter is crabby too, I guess she is tired of people complaining of no results). I say to the crabby girl, "I'm not sure if I'm supposed to go, or if they are coming back to talk to me?....She checks with them and they say "No, she can go". I walked out the door, so upset with myself for not speaking up. I should have posted this a year ago, but I didn't want to hurt anyones feeling. I should have posted this so other people didn't waste their time and money. The doctor (not sure if she really is one, mostly a sales person I would say) tried to sell me all kinds of other procedures, and honestly, if this had of worked even in the slightest, I may have considered it, but how can you believe anything she says after the experience I had. Do not give the so called Doctor/sales girl any of your hard earned money.

Never again. The nurse who did my laser treatments was rude, self-conceited and completely inconsiderate to any pain and discomfort I was in throughout the treatments. The office hours are wretched for anyone who works full time and isn't a stay at home baby factory. Always had to take time off work. On top of that the prices are insane; I'll be getting five treatments for what I paid for a single session at this place. It was my mistake to go to the first place I found online instead of doing some shopping around. Learn from me and bring your business elsewhere! (Just go to Toronto for it, trust me.)

I am a shy extrovert which can make communicating tricky to say the least. I also get anxious then clam up ????. Had the fat melt procedure on 2 sides , basically love handle pockets above my butt and around the side.Mildly tender after for a couple of weeks but not uncomfortable. Took 2 to 3 months to appreciate the results which were as LHW’s prediction . Very HAPPY with the fat reduction and no further treatments are warranted. Overall an easy and pleasant procedure. I recently went in for a minor treatment, from the moment I entered the building and before I even entered the office they had Covid protocols in place, and clearly posted. You were screened before entering and given clear easy to follow directions.From the first interaction at reception the service was exceptional, friendly, polite and very welcoming. The process was clearly explained at reception and again by the Dr. The procedure involved some minor freezing and I have an issue with needles, the Dr. knew this and made an extra effort to chat me up,talk travel and get my mind on something else. During such difficult times its hard to see many positives, this experience was a refreshing and actually an enjoyable one , it was a high point in my week. I would recommend Laser Health Works to anyone, they truly are a level above anyone else.

SOOOO HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE AT LASER HEALTH WORKS!! I suffered with bad acne for as long as I could remember probably around 6 years!!! Tried so many treatments, medications, topical gels recommended by my family doctor and friends but nothing worked. I’m so happy that I came across this place while I was searching for new options to treat my acne! It’s definitely pricey but IT WORKED! Loretta was amazing and first visit recommended a new medication called spironolactone and that’s also been helping me out sooo much!! All finished my laser treatments today and 100% saw a crazy difference in my skin! Highly recommend this to others who suffer from acne and feel like you’ve tried everything! I can finally go out makeup freee with confidence now :) thank you laser health works!!!!!
