My husband and I both have benefited from Dr. Korkola"s talent, skill, knowledge and pleasant demeanor. The Doctor operated on my wrist, that had been broken two weeks prior, but due to a family crisis had to wait to be addressed. My wrist is 100% and at age 80, I am able to do everything required to keep a house and acre property. My husband had a miniscus transplant 30 years ago and began having problems with the knee. Dr, Korkola performed surgery to remove the old hardware and put in a new knee. I have known Dr. Korkola for the past fifteen years. During that time Dr. Korkola has been professional, honest to a fault, kind and considerate. In October of 2019 I had my right hip replaced. I was driving in five weeks and in 8 weeks getting around easily. My family doctor had never seen such a perfect incision. Tomorrow morning at 8am during COVID I will have my left hip replaced. As I contemplate being first up tomorrow I am peaceful and 100%confident of a repeat performance.

I have had 3 horrible experiences with Dr Korkola's receptionist. She is rude and condescending. Dr Korkola himself has been good to work with but I would highly suggest an alternative surgeon based on how difficult the receptionist is to communicate with.

Dr. Korkola has replaced both my knees and one torn rotator cuff on my right shoulder. This doc is not only a great surgeon, but he cares about his patients, tells them the truth, no matter how good or bad. My first surgery was almost 15 years ago and all his surgical work is still in fine shape. I would recommend him to anyone with knee pain.

very disappointed. Took months to get in with appointments and ultrasounds being a single father of several and missing alot of work while organizing child care , etc just to be told to "tough it out" was kind of a let down. I just wanted the little bits removed from my kneecap so that i can eventually kneel on a bed or carpet with the kids without being in agony and maybe drain it too, but ya....im 36 and still suffering from this after and having spending months to get there to see him. It does cause me alot of discomfort which i made clear and i have had a similar procedure done to my elbow 10 years ago that improved it tremendously but here we are

Dr. Korkola is a great surgeon. He replaced my ACL on February 7th 2020 and my knee hasn't felt this good in years.
