I left my glasses on Saturday to be re-lensed. Prior to coming I was told it would only take one day. I live in Toronto, I only came to patronize them because I liked Dr. Bond and wanted to give him business. Mistake. They then told me it would be Monday (3 days) until I could pick them up. I call on Tuesday because I have no word back. They tell me they won't be ready until Wednesday. There is absolutely no reason they can give me as to why it takes 5 days to put new lenses into glasses. Walmart has better service than that. Extremely disappointed. This has severely impacted my job as I NEED MY GLASSES. This is beyond unacceptable in my opinion. I will not be returning.

Wrong prescription, ordeal lasted weeks. Final outcome, still wrong prescription and I am unsatisfied but I longer have the energy to deal with Bond nor his colleagues. I had a very bad experience, and would honestly not reccomend them to anyone. It just felt like they didnt care about my vision. That's all.

Our family have been clients for a number of years, but not anymore. They’re attempting to force additional fees for children, even though they should be covered by OHIP. We’ve moved to another provider who isn’t charging these ridiculous fees. Don’t try to ripping off your customers just because you think the government isn’t paying you enough.

Also this practice makes a point of treating acute eye problems on a same or next day basis. WOW! I don't normally walk away from an eye apt excited or any feeling really.. its just an eye check up. But the staff here is so wonderful! I have had glasses my whole life and a new prescription every year but wow I dont think I've ever had my prescription so spot on. Awesome place!

Four years ago I had gotten something in my eye at work. I was sitting at the emergency clinic with a 4 hour wait. I called Dr Bonds office and explained my situation. They asked if I could make it there in 15 minutes or if 45 minutes would work better for me. I arrived 10 minutes later and Dr Bond removed a clear speck of sand from the back of my eye as soon as I got there reliving the pain I was in. I have been a patient ever since I received the immediate care from a doctor willing to prioritize me while I was in pain. The service is fantastic and the staff friendly and knowledgeable I recommend Dr Bond to anyone who needs and optometrist!

Recently, our family attended Dr.Bond's office for the first time to receive eye exams. Dr. Bond was very patient and kind with the kids and made it a highly enjoyable experience for their first optometry appointment! He is very engaging, knowledgeable and really took the time to explain and answer any questions that we had. At no point did we feel rushed during the appointment. We are very happy with the prescriptions that were prescribed for us, and the recommendations that were made for contact lenses and specific glasses. It is evident that Dr. Bond was invested in creating an above and beyond experience for our family and truly provided the eye care that we were in need of. The display room has a wide variety of frames to choose from, and we were able to try on all of our selections knowing that they had been thoroughly cleaned in between clients. The frame stylists made recommendations for certain styles and brands and helped us select the frames that were best suited for us. We are extremely happy with our new frames! The office is stylish, well kept and the health and safety protocols that are being implemented made us feel safe and comfortable throughout our visit. Thank you Dr. Bond and team for such a wonderful first visit, and we are looking forward to bringing our family back for future appointments!

Dr Bond and his staff are friendly knowledgeable and efficient, you can usually expect to be seen promptly for your scheduled appointment. I chose frames for myself that were all wrong for me. When I went back with my concern, Deane went above and beyond to help me find frames that I love. I’m so happy with my new glasses.

Try to book online for my kids and myself as every year we book during this time of the year.After confirmed the booking online, someone called from the office in few minutes and informed that there will be additional charges this time even though there is OHIP coverage. When refused for the additional testing with an additional charge , I was told doctor won't be doing any testing and cancelled all our bookings. We were happy clients here for over 8 years and this is VERY DISAPPOINTING now. We will be moving somewhere else. Please stay away if they ask you to pay additional for any tests which should be an option available rather than pushing for it . Its kind of getting greedy and looting customers even though OHIP covers for kids.
