Great time. It was a bit of a wait but we'll worth it. I have never had such a throughall doctor. Very kind, excellent bedside manners and did not talk to me like I was dumb. Asked all the right questions and treated me like a human. It is nice to see Canadian doctors that really care!

I was able to get medical information that Workers Compensation did not want to release to me. Took 20 years to find out I have fused discs in my lower back. He is very thorough had a great appointment Thank You.

I have come here for help with allergies, but they are constantly late with their appointments. Expect to spend more than 30 minutes and up to an hour to be seen for your appointment. They don't respect the appointment time they set with you.

Had Dr. Haalland for a few years now, and I had meeting with him not too long ago and told him I was feeling better these days, but I wasnt impressed with him asking me right after that if I was getting the shot" I said I wasnt sure at this time. He really insisted that I clarify why I felt I didnt want it, I told him I was on the fence, he pushed the issue even further with now really why dotn you get it? I said I made my choice and dont want it and said I dotn agree with it. He said its safe enough to get it, I said for me, its my choice and I will make it. He then let it go, but made me feel like I wasnt making a good choice for myself and felt alot of pressure! Most likely he was coercised into saying this and or paid to promote this product without so much as a care in the world of knowing what hes talking about.I was not impressed this time for that comment, if he composed himslef better with the question without sounding like a salesperson in a high pressured store, then i wouldnt be commenting here even at least.

I had been suffering from chronic pain and mobility problems for 2 years when my GP referred me to Dr. Haaland. I have never undergone such a complete examination and diagnostic procedure before. His team is welcoming and made me feel at ease. Yes, he is busy, and sometimes you might have to wait a little for your appointment but I am sure that is because each and every patient is given the time they need and are not rushed through. I am pleased to say that I am feeling better every day and wish to thank both the doctor and his team for their help in putting me on the right track to a pain free life

very poor communication skills with patient. Seemed more interested in talking with his female intern than with me. Was a waste of my time and money travelling out of town for this appointment. I will not be attending a follow-up appointment with this Doctor.

Honestly I hate the fact that I was referred to this clinic, the doctor doesn't care about the clients, they are 1.5- 2 hours past the appointment time on a regular basis and do not follow through on their promises of referrals etc.

I have been to this doctor for RA in the past. First time took forever to get an appointment. My doctor recently sent over another referral to get me in because no one has been in touch with me after calling and leaving messages. I have been waiting almost 2 years again just to get in even though i'm already one of his patients. Lets just say, i'm looking for a new doctor. Just want to warn people who need help sooner then later.

Dr. Haaland is great. 5 stars for him. Extremely smart. Sometimes people may take him the wrong way. He has a different style but it works. The nurses are incredible. Wonderful. Thank you. Unfortunately the receptionists I have delt with over the phone and email are much less supportive or helpful. They just don't care. I haven't been treated like that anywhere else. Sure hope it changes.

While I am very happy with the expertise of Dr Haaland and his staff, the consistent wait times are inexcusable. Every appointment has had at least a 45 minute wait time past the scheduled appointment. Today’s wait time is 90 minutes past my scheduled time. I understand emergencies but not every single time

My husband been waiting Dr. Haaland since March of 2019. They don’t seem to care that he has been in extreme pain. As they just keep telling him to wait for an appointment. They say It will take a couple of months to receive an appointment and that passes by and they just keep telling him to wait. Even his family doctor has sent over a second referral. To make sure he will get seen. Very unprofessional and Crowl.

Incredibly thorough and a great experience with the nurse, Meghan, right through to seeing Dr. Haaland. I was expecting to have a skin allergy test and then that would be it but I was blown away by the thought and care in following through with next steps to investigate further. There was a level of care and desire to get answers that far exceeded my expectations.

Dr Haaland is a fantastic immunologist I really dont know were I would be with out him. He diagnosed me when i was in crisis and found a plan that has made me stable and able to enjoy my life. I highly recommend him.

Please people, Give the Dr. and staff a break. I have been seeing him since 2013 and he and his staff have incredibly changed my life and saved my life in so many ways. His Clinic and staff have all been a gift from God. People need to understand that during hard times, such as these days with Covid, the medical system and all the Dr.’s, nurses and support staff are taxed to the limit, yet they risk their lives each and every day to help patients. In turn, Dr.’s could easily just shut down their clinics and walk away. Some have and most do not. Respect the medical community who do not give up on their patients. Everybody has some sort of drama going on in their lives and “to err is only human”. Please think about this before you post an unkind review about anybody in the medical system during these tough times. - Robyn Cook -

I was referred to Dr. Haaland after seeing multiple doctors for ongoing severe allergies. I was under the impression that I would be going to him for services that I had not already received from anyone else-but that was not the case. My first appointment was schedule for 2:30pm, and I was instructed to be at the office 30 mins prior to then, which I was. I waited and waited in the waiting room, finally being called in at around 4:00pm-2 hours after arriving and 1.5 hours after my appointment time! Once in the room, the nurse was fine and polite, but conducted an environmental prick test, which is something I had already had done by another doctor. She confirmed the one allergy that I already knew about. Then, she left the room to go inform the doctor that we were ready to see him. AND SHE LEFT THE ROOM FOR ANOTHER HOUR!!! Finally, they both came back, he shook my hand, asked me a few questions and then prescribed a weekly allergy shot that I would have to go back to Barrie to pick up the serum and be issued my first shot. (Did I mention I am travelling from Sudbury?). So we do that. And a couple of months later we go back to Barrie to get things started. We did not have to wait in the waiting room long this time. But once we were in the office, we were informed that because I hadn't taken an antihistamine an hour before (which I was never instructed to do), they would have to give me one and we would have to wait an hour before being able to administer the shot. So we waited...again. Then, I was scheduled to go back to see the Doctor this October for a follow up. In August I received a call that they had moved my appointment up to September. So September comes around, my boyfriend and I both take a day off of work and make the 3 hour trip to see Dr. Haaland in Barrie for my follow up. Again, my appointment time was at 2:30pm, and this time we were nearing 4:00pm again before we were called in. Once in the room with the nurse, she looks at my charts and says "I think you are here too soon for us to administer the next set of tests, it hasn't been a year yet since you started but I will go find the doctor and ask him", so she leaves the room again for another 20 minutes and then comes back with dr. Haaland, he comes in and confirms that we have come too early and that they will have to book me back in in the spring. So we took time off of work and traveled all for nothing this time. So over all, I think that he is very unorganized and has no respect for anyone's time but his own. It's very unprofessional, and I recommend if you are referred to him for these kind of services, you ask to be referred elsewhere to hopefully avoid this nonsense.

I have never had such an amazing Doctor miss more appointments. I wait for hours and hours, every time. EVERY TIME! Currently waiting for my online appointment...30 minutes past the start time.. why am I waiting? your wait is as long as DR Hallands team is good.

I went with my mom to her appts. and what a waste of our time. Dr.Haaland is a joke along with his staff. Nurses are acting like doctors and Dr.Haaland seems more interested in the young inexperienced nurses. I would NOT recommend anyone to go to this Dr.

Dr. Haaland is the best. Polite, caring, knowledgeable. His staff are lovely. It is a bit of a wait but so worth it. After a long time of searching for an answer to how to deal with my illness...he had one.
