Quite unfriendly service for a pharmacy. I had a prescription to pick up earlier this week, this first time I went in it hadn't been sent over yet from the doctor (no one at fault here) and they recommended I come back in 15 minutes.
When I returned to see if it had come through, I began speaking to the two ladies who were in before and they were looking to see if was ready. One of the male employees decided to cut in and berate me for not telling him what day the prescription was from, while I was trying to give one of the other pharmacists my last name and then told me he couldn't help me if I didn't give him any information. Not sure why he felt the need to insert himself into a situation that was being handled by two other staff members, its hard to talk to 3 people at once with a mask on.
They still didn't have the prescription, which was fine. I came back later that afternoon (hoping there were some different staff on). My script was ready. The phone rang during my transaction and she fully just cut me off mid-sentence to pick it up and proceeded to not even make eye contact for the rest of the interaction. Shoved my prescription at me at and then held up the EFTPOS machine while looking away, still chatting on the phone. I had questions about direct billing and the medication I was getting but it was clear she had no interest in serving an actual customer. No verbal confirmation about what I was being given, side effects, or any other info you typically get given when you pick up a new prescription.
The staff at IDA are always friendly and helpful. I recommend going there instead.
