Dr. Sahota is the best doctor I've ever met in Calgary. He is very caring, professional and helpful in many ways.

I have had a very horrible experience here. The doctor always runs late. 1 hour plus with an appointment is average time. I have waited something close to 2 hours as well. I feel walk in faster in other clinics with an appointment here. The doctor is not good either. They call you to come in urgently ( like something) very seriously is wrong in your lab results when you get there in a panic mode turns out there is nothing serious, that's just how their system is. Even after a million complaints no one does anything to do anything within the system. Seriously I don't understand why anyone would go here when there are so many good doctors in the area. Also the service of admin is horrible, basically a Robert would be better. She scans documents and assures people that they are in as a family doctor and drops them as a patient saying later on. The doctor Keeps on sending you for like 5-6 tests if u just tell him u had a heart burn last night and of course scares you till you pee in you pants that you can have these horrible diesels. When u go in go these tests and get the results, the results are generally inconclusive or one test was not done properly so u go through the cycle again and even after all this exercise u never get an answer. It looks like a scam to get in patients and keep them coming as often as possible. Seriously incompetent and a huge drain on the system. Save your time and effort and go to any other doctor in the area in the west brook or corner of 85 th and old Banff coach road to name a few.

I love Dr. Sahota. He is kind and caring. He takes the utmost care for me and my children.

Doctor was unhelpful. Still remaining sick 2 weeks later. Recommended medicine useless. Had to go elsewhere

This clinic is so disorganized. The receptionists are usually rude and don't care to actually help you with anything. Dr.Bialy is a nice person, however, he forgets to fill out paperwork for other scheduled appointment or he doesn't even send them in or look at them. He sent me to wrong specialists... that was frustrating to say the least. If you call to get something filled out.... good luck. Most of the time they tell you they will send a note, which never gets answered, and then you have to keep calling and following up and then the receptionists argue with you and tell you they cant do anything for you. most of the time you wait about an 45 to an hour past your appointment to see the doctor. I feel like if someone is being paid to take care of your well-being they should actually care a little bit... unfortunately it doesn't seem like they care much here.

I left this place with a very bad impression of it, first the chinese receptionist was so rude since I passed through the front door, second I don't expect a smile from doctors but the one who saw me seemed to be mad at something. Hope the medication they gave me worked, at least.

This is the most unprofessional clinic in the city. It’s currently 9:12 am on August 27th 2018 and they are still closed. The receptionist is always late and very impolite.

Worse ever I don’t recommend, my appointment was at 4pm and had to wait one hour for the doctor, receptionist rode. It’s my first visit and the last.

Went in with a fever of 39.4 and a cough and cold I’d had had for 4 days told the dr I was short of breath and could feel cracking on the right side of my chest. The doctor did a very basic exam didn’t listen to my chest much at all didn’t even take my bp or fever then said “ what would you have me do? I could give you antibiotics but I think you should come back if your not better in 4 days or if your fever goes up past 40. When I disagreed he shrugged his shoulders so I decided to give it a couple more days. 3 days later I was so sick I couldn’t go more then 4 hours without taking something for the fever so I we to another doctor turned out i had pneumonia and if I had waited another day or so I could have been hospitalized. I called his clinic and let them know and the receptionist basically just said I’ll let him know thanks for letting us know I felt very dismissed but just because I didn’t have a degree in medicine I couldn’t advocate for my own symptoms and that I was just somebody looking for a quick fix prescription. I would simply recommend listening to your patient if they are telling you specific symptoms I would investigate those symptoms instead of just dismissing their concerns like they don’t know what they’re talking about because sometimes they actually do.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Sahota for close to 5 years now. Dr. Sahota is very professional, thorough and he answers all our questions related to my health which is very important to me. The front end staff at Coach Hill Medical is very helpful and I enjoy going there. I highly recommend Dr. Sahota as he truly is a caring and considerate Physician who cares about one’s health.

My mother, who experienced sudden, acute hearing loss, came in to get an urgent referral to an ENT specialist and prescription for the medication. She came home devastated, saying the receptionist was laughing at her and getting frustrated that she couldn't hear what she was saying. (apparently my mom could not understand whether she should wait in the waiting area or go in right away, so the receptionist had to get off her chair to show her in) Even worse was that the doctor she saw that day, Dr. Hamouda, was visibly frustrated with her as well. Asking her what language she spoke. Like that would've made a difference. Even though English is a second language for my mom, obviously, that was not the reason why she could not understand what he was saying, she just couldn’t hear him. I regret booking that appointment for her in that clinic. Staff and the doctor made her fill belittled and humiliated. And this is all right at the time when she is dealing with a potential threat of becoming fully deaf. TERRIBLE, terrible, terrible. No empathy whatsoever. People who work there should be ashamed of themselves, Dr. Naidu should be reminded how to treat patients with disability. If you can, avoid this clinic at all cost.

Dr. Sahota is the best doctor I've ever had. I have lived in 5 cities and he blows everyone out of the water. He may run late but that's only because he cares. He will never cut you short so his timing is better. He wants to make sure that you are taken care of and your questions are answered. I have health issues that have bothered me for over 15 years and no one would take the time to figure out what was going on. He sent me for testing and to specialist until we found out what was going on. He is genuinely a wonderful caring person.

Horrible doctor.. worst experience of my life. The doctor here is beyond judgemental about my past and held personal views towards my care.

The staff are incompetent, the doctors are usually running late, & their closing times they have up are wrong. I asked one of the staff what their closing time was and she said it’s different for every doctor, so it would be a good idea to change that for their clinic. Very unprofessional.

Doctor Gurevich the only reason I keep coming. Receptionist rude every single time I making appointment! She saying “You have to come at 10, because we don’t have appointments later.” She double booked me for the same day and find out only then I called and insisted I have appointment later. I did recommended the Dr.Gurevich to my friend, my friend didn’t stay with clinic because of this ride assistant. She refused to give Kleenex for running nose. She said you can take when you come in in doctors office. Crazy.

Dr. Hamouda has been very good to me. He is very compassionate, friendly and knowledgable. I can't speak to the other experiences from the other reviewers, but mine has been positive.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a Doctor in my entire life. I am an acrobat currently on medical for a broken finger. I have seen plenty of healthcare physicians in my line of career as an athlete. I am a Canadian though from out of province, so have to unfortunately pay for my visits each time I come. I came to this clinic because my family sees one of the other doctors here. So when I arrived to see Hamouda, I needed one thing from him; a medical certification stating how long I would need to be away from work. I saw a doctor in Finland two days before seeing Hamouda. The first visit with him I showed him my XRAYs that were taken two days prior with the other doctor, and he said to me they were not valid in Canada, so he wrote me a requisition to get other XRAYS done. I asked if I could come back with them later in the day and he said no. That XRAYS take time, and he would only have access to them on Monday the following week. This was very fishy, so I went to get my XRAYS done and enquired with the receptionist on how long it would take for Hamouda to have access. She said in under two hours he would have access to my files. So I followed up Monday for my XRAYS which I obtained a copy of from the diagnostics clinic just in case. I arrived as a walk-in, explained to Hamouda my insurance situation with the a medical certificate for him to sign and date, and he said no he could not sign my documents which might I add was a template from service Canada and is a Government approved document. He also refused to sign or write a medical certificate for me as he had no time to do so. I then insisted, stating I needed a medical certificate, as it was the reason why I came to the doctor and went and got extra XRAYS taken, other wise I would not be covered under insurance for work. So he then told me to wait till he was finished working, which was 1.5 hours. On top of this he did not look at my XRAYS during my consultation with him. After all this, I waited, obtained "his official medical certificate". He then charged me for my second visit at full price, after the sweet and kind and respectful receptionist mentioned to me that the second visit would be cheaper as it was just a follow up, and also charged me for the medical certificate. He then states on my medical certificate that I am unfit to. work, however would need a follow up in 4 weeks to reassess my injury, where as in our consultation he mentioned to me 2-3 times that the heal time for my injury would be 6-8 weeks. Sorry, no thanks. Find someone else to make your 50$ off of, because I am never following up with you. NOTE: Just a side note this is the 23rd of July. I had to go to the ER after seeing Hamouda due to pain caused by my injury, and unfortunately received minor surgery on my hand after it was re-diagnosed by the ER physician that day. If Dr. Hamouda had looked at my XRAYS he would have known my finger was still dislocated and would need immediate further medical attention. keywords: horrible, inefficient, rude, disrespectful, INCOMPETENT, disinterested, and clearly unprofessional.

If this was the last walk-in clinic in the city I wouldn't return....it's embarrassing that people like this are allowed to practice...seeing Mohamed Hamouda was nothing but a waste of time and Alberta health's money. Additionally, the girl at reception was rude and acted like I was an inconvenience even though I was the only one there. When Mohamed Hamouda (the guy who calls himself a doctor) finally saw me, he seemed to not care about the issue I went in for and just went on and on about my cholesterol and how high it was and how I needed cholesterol medication, but wouldn't show me the results he referred to. I followed up with my normal family doctor the next week and was shown my cholesterol results from the last 4 years verifying that I am well within the normal range and did not need medication...everything Hamouda told me was wrong.

Dr. Sahata is one of the physicians at Coach Hill Medical clinic and my family doctor. He is the best physician I have ever known and without his help I wouldn't have been here today. With his help and intellect he made it possible that I get the best medical treatment available for me and my family. He is so passionate about his job and treats everyone with care. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a family doctor

Michaela

Some of the reception staff are incompetent, some are ok. Same with the doctors, it's hit or miss. Dr Hammoud is usually ok. One of them fat-shamed me! Just putting up with them until I move.

Now it’s Managment team and New Doctors in clinic. No more long wait time. Special thanks to Dr. Das. He is very kind and caring Doctor. DR. Das treat seniors very well.

The MOAs are annoying and even when you give them updated information they still have no clue. Even with booking an appointment right when the clinic opens you could STILL be waiting for an hour. The doctor I saw isn't there any more but he switched up my drugs (I'm a diabetic) to something my body was rejecting and essentially told me to suck it up when I went back to him and complained. He also wouldn't even show me my lab results or give me a copy. I gained over 40lbs in three months. I got a referral to an endocrinologist, who was LIVID with my care, and changed my meds back. I'm still struggling to lose that weight but I found a new GP.

Katrina Smulan

Most unprofessional clinic I have seen so far. The front desk staffs are extremely rude and very unprofessional toward patients. I always have to wait at least an hour even if I have an appointment. Unless this is the only clinic in Calgary, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Steven Luft

Most unprofessional clinic I have seen so far, the website on google shows their operating hour starts at 9 am on Saturday, Today I went there at 8:45 then I saw a sign on their door that they start at 10 am, returned at quarter to 10, waited until 10:15 no one showed up. By the way this is the second time this is happening to me and my family, so I can say this is their routine to be unprofessional and waste people's time.

We are all suppose to wear masks in public areas. The receptionist that checked me in wore hers under her chin the entire time. AB Health Services wants to preach to all of us to wear a mask and their own employees do not follow suit. I do have a picture to prove this but thought I should not exploit her on Google Reviews. The doctor I seen was very professional.

Very disappointed in the care and consideration (or rather lack there of) from this clinic. Both my elderly mother and I have now had terrible experiences. A couple months ago my mom suffering from Shingles pain went and was given a prescription for a very tiny tube of ointment for treatment (ridiculous as it was all over her back and this tube wouldn't even cover the back of her hand). It was $60 and not covered under her medical plan AND was useless. She went to her regular doctor who treated her properly. Then on Monday I went and explained that I suspected Strep Throat (I've had it before) and was dismissed that no I just had a common cold. I got a voice mail on Wednesday from the doctor but he mumbled into the phone and I couldn't decipher what he was saying. When I called back less than 10 minutes later the Receptionist (who was very kind) told me that my results came back positive for Strep but the doctor had left for the evening and I was unable to get a prescription to start treatment even though there was another doctor right there. WHAT!!! I ended up picking up the Lab Results (oh that were sent the day before!) and had to go to another walk in clinic to get a prescription filled. An unnecessary drain on the system. Seriously.
