We originally went to The Brick in Edmonton in July when we were buying a new home in Hinton to buy a whole new household of furniture. Our original selections we were told would arrive the first week of August, and a few pieces in Sept. We ordered and paid in full. A few days before our move we got a phone call that the majority of our order wouldnt be in until November or December. We had nonstop issues with the store supervisor and finally got ahold of the district manager. After 4 days of hell and horrible customer service and phone calls. We had to go in and make new selections of furniture --- just to get stuff that would arrive in a reasonable time frame. The new selections we were assured would arrive Sept 09th and a few pieces in October. Disgruntled but having sold all our existing furniture in July we agreed this was fine and we would wait....well Sept 9 comes and goes and I mention to my husband we never got the furniture delivered WE had to call yet again to find out when it will be arriving. We were told that the delivery dates on the new furniture are now pushed back again and not to expect it till November or December with no exact dates. It's even better that we are expecting our first child in Feb and thanks to the Brick have no furniture and not even a proper bedroom set. One can only hope that maybe by 2021 we will receive a portion or shockingly maybe even all our order we paid for. Today we called to speak to the District Manager and of course no answer and no option to leave a message. ...moral of the story. Don't bother paying your money to this company you might never get your furniture.

We had a great experience with help choosing the right mattress for us and was well informed about all the protection and was never pressured to buy something. Our bed came on time and we haven't had any problems with it!

Overall not a great experience. Ordered a couch set and a few days later changed my mind as they were too large for my space. I spoke to a female worker on the phone on the 21st of December and was assured that the money would appear back on my credit card within 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed and I did not receive the money back on my card. I called up again and inquired about my refund.. turns out the order wasn’t even cancelled to begin with.. really frustrating when it’s post Christmas season and being out of work from Covid and not having access to your money. I asked to have an email confirmation both times I cancelled the furniture and received nothing. Had to drive an hour to Hinton to get a copy of the voided payment. I will not be doing business with the brick in the future.

Don't even bother wasting your time here. Came in from Jasper, ready to purchase a couch and chair and the rude old man had zero interest in helping me. He was short in answering questions and wasn't interested in showing me anything. After making me feel like I was wasting his time I walked out and will be spending extra on a delivery service instead of giving them my money. I will never be purchasing any other item from here again.

We have made major purchases at this store twice in the last couple of years. Both times we had different salespersons and both times they have provided excellent service. The store doesn't always have their inventory in store, but is always willing to shop at other locations for items and willing to find the prices available for their store chain (The Brick). Very friendly staff.

Over 3 years I am suffering on the mattress like this. The local store management makes me sick of their excuses. They did a great service before, but not anymore! Very-very-very DISAPPOINTING! The problem HAS NOT BEEN solved after my "BIG STRUGGLE". There is a new store manager who doesn't care. It looked like the problem has been solved, before, but the new manager now is saying where is no records about my case :( Will keep trying, but NO MORE business with theBRICK. P.S. We bought 2 couches and they are falling apart after 3 years of use.

Last wednesday, me and my partner came into the store and purchase a couch and dining table. we were greeted by John who is very knowledgeable with his products. He is very good and very accommodating during our search for the right furniture. He stuck with us for 2 hours helping us choose the best one. He will not recommend a furniture just because it is more expensive. He will make sure that what you chose is what you really like and what you really comfortable using. I would definitely recommend him and this store.

We have purchased a few major appliances with the help of Nikki at the brick. She made the processes quick and easy. We gave her all of our requirements and budget and showed up the next day and she had everything laid out for us already. Nikki went the extra mile to also make sure we were getting appliances that were available immediately so we didn't have to wait too long. She also gave us other tips (like measuring our doorways so we could make sure the appliances would fit), which I never would have thought of until we tried to get them in the house. I would definitely recommend seeing her for any big household purchases you might be making in the future!

I am amazed that this store is still open. The salesman and the sales manager have poorest customer service I have ever seen. We had to chase both of them after being given a price for 5 appliances then being told they could no longer honour the price because the sale was over which was no fault of ours. We went into the store spoke with the manager during the sale after being told the salesman was away on vacation until after the sale. She said she could not do anything for us as he had the paperwork and to call him on Monday which we did as well as email with no reply. Needless to say we went eleswhere Do yourself a favor go to Edson

We ordered some furniture since we could use a warranty refund from past purchases. After several weeks and visits because of invoice issues we finally get a call. Only the call was to tell us we cant use the refund until next year. I even asked about the date/time frame in the beginning. This is not the first time we have been misinformed at the brick hinton. I'll drive to the city before going back here

Five stars to Nikki who is by far the best sales person at this location. Super friendly and really knows her stuff. She definitely went above and beyond to help us in our purchase. I would give the other ladies there a 1 star. If Nikki is not working or is busy, no one else greets you, or asks if you need help. I stood there one day for 10 minutes while one employee walked around aimlessly and 3 more were sitting at a desk chatting. Very unprofessional.
