At the moment the firm has a rating of 2.8 stars out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 17 reviews.

As you can read, its rating is discreet, neither too high nor too low, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the score is quite reliable. If people have bothered to give their score when they are pleased, is that it works.

I have been trying to get an emergency appointment for my Dad who has called the office several times....there seems to be no answering capabilities,. The message says "contact the doctor" however it is near impossible,...I left a message anyways,...I find it difficult that it is so hard to actually reach a real person!!

I am extremely pleased with this prostate clinic. I have been monitored for several years and had two biopsies and an MRI. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful clinic that specializes in prostates and urology, and with some of the top urologists in Canada. It is part of the South Alberta Institute of Urology which apparently is the largest and most comprehensive urological centre in Canada.Doctors Dushinski and Hyndman have given me great professional care for years.

My review is based on my Dad's doctors (Gotto and Pommerville). Since February of this year my dad has had little assistance. I've had to call several times, write emails several times to get an answer on the outcome of his procedure, only to speak with the Dr and not getting any real answer... our family doctor never receives any follow-up about any procedures. They don't call at their appointed scheduled times, they take forever to follow-up with tests or referrals. Horrible communicators, slow on getting things done... they don't just don't care, and if they did, I wouldn't be writing this review.

Directions should be updated with a photo. The clinic is located on top of a parking garage and not easy to find because of that. You can drive by the unmarked building thinking the entire structure is a parking lot. Real directions to get here: 1. Drive up to Rockview ER/temp Entrance 2. Stop right at the ER entrance 3. Look to your right there's a parking lot, that's where you need to go. Sixth floor 4. Find parking 5. Take elevator to 3rd floor. Get off 3rd floor. 6. Take another elevator to the 6th floor, finally you've made it. NOTE: avoid going through the hospital to this clinic. There's also a urology within the hospital and you'll get directed there as even staff are not 100% aware of this clinic existing.

Very sad and disappointing experience. No big interest on patient specific case. They will just give you overall practice and recommandation. I took my dad who was visiting Canada. As we got there the doctor we were seeing told us he did not have the latest ultrasound results on the system which were done 3 weeks earlier . So he based his analysis on an old ultrasound done 2 years ago and did not bother looking at the latest ultrasound. I called the radiology were we did the ultrasound and they told us that if doctor could'nt find the latest scan he should have called and have it faxed to him right away but of course he did not bother. Fast forward two months later my dad had to travel again out of his country of origin to get an emergency surgery on this prostate... Not recommended if you have no chance than to go there please make sure to read EVERYTHING you can about whatever bringing you there. Do not go trusting they will cover your concern nor educate you properly about it ....

Everything went very well with my surgery. Dr. Dushinski and his entire team were very friendly and professional.

I wanted to book a follow up appointment for my mom, it took them forever to pick up the phone, and the customer service was horrible. The lady makes you feel like you owe her million dollars. If you dont know how to commucate then you shouldn't work there.

Catherine Milutinovic

I phoned to ask for a follow up appointment with Dr Dushinski today and the lady who answered the phone had a harsh and disrespectful tone in her voice, very unprefessional. She didn't sound accommodating and it sounded like it was such a bother to answer calls. If you are a phone receptionist, be courteous. Learn the basic phone courtesy please?

I recently had a TURP operation at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary.Everything went extremely well. Dr John Dushinsky was so professional and all his staff spoke highly of him. The anesthesiologist gave me his recommendations for the type anesthetic after explaining my options and I’m very happy I went along with it. (General) The aftercare was impeccable. The nurses on the urology ward were so good and kind I have no complaints at all. The surgery went so well that two days after surgery I feel like I’m completely back to normal although I know I have to take it easy for the next month as per Dr Dushinsky’s instructions. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff here at Rockyview.

Not impressive at all, It was rarely open....answering machine pretty much works there.... And you cannot get a Hold of a single doctor but one, first time I called, the nurses lied about him coming in...he was out of town for 4.5 more days... He even ended up not doing my surgery...cause he messed up. Chopping parts off my body that wasn't called for,Sad,really sad. Now i have to live like this the rest of my life...

It is nearly impossible to get an appointment. Heather, Dr. Hyndmans SIAU -secretary gave us very little notice for an appointment for our grandpa (about one day). When we tried to reschedule this appointment since it was too short a notice to take time off from work on the day of the appointment she told us that if we did not take the short notice appointment it would be in September or possibly November when our grandfather would be seen. She was extremely rude over the phone and she kept us on endless hold if we asked her for any information. We had to go to work and being on endless hold over the phone was not an option. It appears that she had no regard that others have work responsibilities too. We ended up not being able to get the message across to cancel this appointment or a reschedule for the appointment. We are not sure why Heather was so agitated or rude ..... but this sort of poor service does not serve SIAU or Dr. Hydndmans patients well.
