Came to see a doctor and both Google and the sign on the property says open at 7am, employees told me I had to wait until 9am before they open the doors.

It's a lot easier to 'get the ball rolling' with a doctor at this clinic than at other clinics, and a lot more common to leave feeling well-informed. It seems that other clinics (in my experience) would rather get you in and out quickly based on half of the concerns you have in mind, resulting in repeat visits to revise your treatment plan, whereas here the doctors take time to listen to all of your concerns before making decisions with you and explain the prescriptions/referrals you receive. To me, this makes visiting One World worth the wait times.

Update Made an appointment with my doctor for an over the phone meeting, the doctor was 3 hours late, they almost always book more patients than Time slots. It is kinda makes me wonder why. It all depends on the doctor you get, I had made an appointment for my grandmother at 4:10 we were takin to the room and about 4:40 and it wasn't until 5:30 that the doctor showed up. It is a huge inconvenience, and I suggest to anyone that you have at least a 4 hour contingent. Even if it isn't busy. On the other hand with another doctor I never have any problems, they are freindly knowledgeable, and fast. Overall its not to bad, but if you don't like waiting all day I would never suggest it

If I can give 0 star then I would give this clinic. While the doctors are professional the front desk staff is extremely rude and impolite. Their attitude only adds to the patience suffering and pain. I would stay away of this clinic if I can.

Strange how the reviews are like a roller coaster. Every time I have been to this clinic, they are friendly, polite and helpful. I've been seen by Dr. Goebel many times and quite like her. She is a no-nonsense doctor so does not sugar coat anything and does not beat around the bush.

Dr. Lee is an excellent doctor. We have known him for years. We also have seen Dr. Yip there and he too is a really good doctor. The staff used to be really good when they first opened up, but now they are very inconsistent often making a lot of errors. Although nice they really need to work on basic MOA and customer services skills.

My first visit here was for a tetanus booster shot and I was treated very kindly by the staff and Dr. Sharkey. During my most recent visit, Dr. Tran was informative, friendly, and very attentive. He took the time to ask meaningful questions about what I was experiencing and then to explain my treatment options. I ended up getting the flu shot during the same visit! The location is clean and is conveniently located in the Superstore. Highly recommend both Dr. Sharkey and Dr. Tran for your medical needs.

This clinic has no respect for people's time. Every time I come with an appointment I wait at LEAST 1 hour. Doctor Yip is amazing but the staff and admin have no respect or are aware of the time when booking appointments. Find another clinic!!!

The lady at the front desk was very rude, waving her arms at me to sign up on the clip board while I tried to tell her that I could not write as my wrist is broken (which is why I was there). After being sent for xrays and getting a cast I wanted to go to my family dr who was unavailable at the time I went to this clinic. I called for my file to be transferred which is just xrays and literally a half page in a file. I was told that this file will cost me $25 for all the printing. I will say though, DR Yip was very good

It is sad to say... Dr. Fu is a wonderful doctor as well as Dr. Goebel when she still worked at this clinic. Unfortunate that the staff can not be spoken for the same. When I arrived here today at 6:00 PM, I was not greeted as I walked to the front counter, in fact, I had to get the receptionists attention (the larger lady that sits in the middle), to which I said I'm here as a walk-in to see the doctor, to which she glanced at the clock beside her, rolled her eyes and then sighed. The clinic closes at 7 PM, so I was there an hour earlier with 2 people waiting in the waiting room. She asked my date of birth and name, when I replied she said nothing to me. I stood there for a minute and finally she told me to have a seat. When I finally got into the see Dr. Fu, he was wonderful, covering all the bases and making sure I was good before I left. I had an Ultrasound form which I had to bring to the receptionist to put a label on. I handed it to her with a smile and got no reaction, she said nothing, until she gave me my form back and I said thank you to which she replied, your welcome. It saddens me that such great doctors work with such rude receptionists, they will lose business this way. Coming from someone who works in customer service, I am shocked to know that she still has a job there, for this long. She's not nice or welcoming or anything for that sort other than rude and miserable.

now that Dr Goebel retired the clinic is too slow. patient needs to wait 3 to 4 hours for check up. Shes the best Doctor in Calgary. Now this is the worst clinic ever. Horrible front staff no manners. wont come back here anymore.

Doctor Stanley Fu was great! The reception however was terrible. My newborns toe was infected so he was prescribed antibiotics to heal then he was to be referred to a specialist. The reception staff however never contacted them. After waiting I called back wondering why I never got an appointment. His toe once again got infected. Now he has to go on more antibiotics until I can see the specialist. If they would have faxed it my little guy wouldn't be in pain for this long. Will not go back ever again solely because of the receptionit's lazyness and bad attitude. Too bad I really like the doctor.

I am a patient of dr.yip, I've seen about 10-15 different dr.s before finding dr.yip, he is the best dr., super knowledgeable knows his stuff, and is a nice person, I've never had a problem with the front staff, come on people they don't say hi to you when you walk in, please.

I believe any negative remarks that you read will relate specifically to a bad issue with the patient; because in the amount of time my family has been attending we have never had any issues.

Dr Yip is awesome, you’ll absolutely feel comfortable talking to him and he will listen to your concerns. He’s one of the best physicians I’ve met so far. I will rate him 5/5. Unfortunately, the admin staff make the experience horrible. They’re lack of care and customer service to their patients. Find a better staff and this clinic will improve drastically.

Front desk need to change their attitude towards patients.I'm visiting this clinic more than 10 years and every time I go there I feel like it's my 1st time here.Receptionsits are very rigid and not friendly at all. They are sitting there to tell you all the rules you need to follow..Don't expect any favors. On the other hand Dr. Yip is so humble, down to earth,kind, reliable professional dr. Dr. Yip is the only reason that's why I have to go through front desk otherwise I would never see them.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lee for years (Even before he was at One World) and I can say with no hesitation that he is the absolute best and is very thorough. The wait times can be long but I know that Dr. Lee spends time with his patients and will spend as much time with you as you need. I never feel rushed. He is absolutely wonderful and I am so thankful to have him as our family doctor. The clinic itself could use some improvement with the front desk staff. They are not very friendly and seem inconvenienced if you need to ask a question. As a long time patient, on occasion, I have had to come as a walk in & have waited for up to 4 hours. I don't expect preference because I am a long term patient but I do expect honesty. Told the wait time is about an hour and then over 3 hours later only 2 walk ins were called and I was still waiting. Ridiculous! Ended up booking an appointment for another day and wasting over 3 hours sitting in a waiting room. This is too bad because this also reflects on the doctor(s) who is amazing.

June 5, 2015 Worst front staff ever! I can understand why all the reviews are bad about the front staff. Poor customer service. Gave me the wrong appointment time for Dr Yip and made it sound like it was my fault. I specifically told them over the phone I needed an afternoon appt but when I got there they said it was at 12:15 instead of 2:15. I asked them why didn't they call to confirm appts or call me when supposedly I didn't show up but they say they don't make calls. Very rude about it even though they were the ones that made the mistake. Instead of seeing Dry Yip we got stuck seeing Dr Goebel. What a terrible mistake that was. She was so rude. I just wanted to get refills for my dad but she said she couldn't go into his file. For a walk in clinic where each doctor see each other patient sometimes it's weird that they can't see other patience file. Dr Goebel was so rude. I am seriously considering leaving this clinic. Front staff is rude and so is Dr Goebel, very unprofessional!

Came in here two days ago in a horrible amount of pain. The front desk lady looked extremely frustrated that I was crying. Asked her how long the doctor will be and said hes in a appointment, after I already waited 2 hours before I left to find some real help. Can you please tell me why you guys are to cheap to hire another doctor as this is a walk in not an appointment run place ? Or at least have enough staff for both. or train your staff to be caring at least. Or just not rude would do. I will not be back here.

The doctors are caring and professional,, once you get to see them. Appointments are typically about an hour late which isn’t the end of the world once you expect the long wait. Where they’re over the top is with the counter staff, so rude and inconsiderate, while obviously giving preferential treatment to friends/family.

Dr. Yip, as my primary physician, has given me superb and knowledgeable care over many years. When on a walkin basis I have received courteous and efficient care from several other doctors at the clinic. Nurse Sally and Pharmacist Steve have also provided me superior advice and support. The front staff are very patient with me and make sure I understand them. (I have a major hearing deficiency and they are courteous as well as respectful when communicating around that issue)

Great family practice. been taking my family for years to see Dr.Yip. Dr. Lee and dr. Fu were awesome too when dr. Yip is not around. Walk in you might wait for awhile, if you are walking in go first thing in the morning for little to no line ups.

The receptionist lacked some serious customer service and communications skills and was over all unfriendly BUT the doctor was excellent! Very friendly and took the time to explain things and thoroughly check me out. Would definitely recommend.

The worst place you could go on the planet. This place and their doctors don't know anything and what is worse is that they just don't even care about you. I will go somewhere else but never to this place again. The worse experience in my entire life in a clinic.

Arrived at the clinic at 1pm, filled out a questionnaire, and was told to come back at 2pm to see the doctor. I came back at 2pm (as instructed) and was then told the appointment needed to be over the phone because of one of my questionnaire answers. They should have told me this when I initially filled in the questionnaire. The front staff told me I was “next in line” for a call from the doctor so I waited in my car. After an hour of waiting I called the office and they told me the doctor still had patients in the waiting room which is why I hadn’t received a call yet. These are people who arrived after me, yet they’re giving them priority over my phone appointment. Why? Had I been told all of this at 1pm I would have gone home instead of wasted 2.5 hours of my day.

I am a retired nurse and have worked along side many Dr's and nurses, and as a patient of Dr.Yip's , I rate him as among the best of all of the Dr's that I've seen as a patient ,or worked with in my career.He is well known and respected in the medical field.His knowledge and professionalism are exemplary.As for the the office staff, I have no complaints, as they have been polite, and efficient.

Going there since they started but had the worst experience there today: Mr Yip (he is no doctor) has to be the most UNPROFESSIONAL, rude and out of order bully for a "doctor" in this country. He even messed up on my prescription and that is serious. He needs to be booted from the profession. Front office staff is very silly and incompetent. Dr Lee should run like a bat from hell before they ruin his reputation. I am sure I have paid my last visit there

Dr.Yip is an incredible doctor! I have had terrible experiences with doctors prior to coming to this clinic. Its hard to feel completely comfortable with a doctor, but Dr. Yip is great at making you feel comfortable. He is always friendly and very knowledgeable. I travel across the city to see Dr. Yip. The staff in this clinic are very friendly! Some of these reviews are awful.. Everyone is allowed to have an off day. There have been a couple of times where they don't seem as friendly.. but we are only human and you don't know what is going on in their life. 99% of the time the staff is amazing and very friendly! I would highly recommend this clinic! :)

Great physician and staff. I am seen promptly. The staff are helpful and professional. He always diagnoses my problems correctly, discusses treatment, and deals with the issues. He orders necessary tests and makes appropriate referrals. He has been my family physician for over five years. Even though I have moved out of the area I will travel the extra distance to see him.
