check in went fine, then sat around to eventually be told the reason I'm there they do not do the service. Dr gives me info of clinic and sends me on my way. Call clinic, wait on hold for someone to eventually tell me that I needed a 3 page referral from a Dr to book appt with them. Thanks for wasting my time

The most infuriating front desk girls ive ever had in my entire life, i checked the covid box for shortness of breath BECAUSE I HAVE ASTHMA AND SHE PANICKED AND ALMOST FORCED ME TO CALL 811 for my “chest pains” but i didnt have chest pains. They also only accept cash which was weird considering how afraid they are of covid. Overall i didnt even see a medical professional and i now have to book an appointment for another clinic

Save time and frustration. Go elsewhere. Absurd run around between the main line and the front desk reception. One always blaming the other. Inconsistent information about appointments, new patient scheduling, and walk ins. Waits are consistently over an hour for walk-ins. During people's regular work times this is ludicrous. Taking 3 hours off work is not an option for most people. Good luck getting an actual appointment with their 'screening system'. This clinic is clearly abusing the AH pay structure for new/walk-in patients/meet and greet, contributing to the problem of people without a trusted family doctor. I've seen a couple different physicians a this clinic over the years (Campbell, Hassan), and both lack any sort of patient centric approach to care. They were curt, dismissive, not thorough in clinical examination, and when prescribing medication don't follow-up/make appointments for followup. The pharm tech at Shoppers was more knowledgeable about the possible serious side effects and interactions of using what was prescribed.

Came in to get some antibiotics for a uti, & Dr. Robert Daniels Is A Useless D Head, Had Me Leaving With Information I Already Knew, All I Needed Was Antibiotics For A Really Bad UTI, But According To Him Males Don't Get Urinary Tract Infections, But My File Would Say Otherwise.. Sorry But Will Never Let Anyone Including My Mom Go Here... If This Is The Only Place Open In A 100 Mile Radius, You have a higher chance of dying.... Oh, I Should Also Add, He Tried To Say It's Neurological (Head &Spine), Cause I stumbled down and mountain a few years back like what the eff dude.!?! I'll Just stick to my regular Dr thanks, She atleast helps.

Regardless of the wait time to see Dr. C, the staff has always been above and beyond kind. (I mean, come on people, it’s a fricken global pandemic, have some patience. The world does not revolve around you) During the pandemic, I can’t imagine how stressful it must be to be a front line worker. Katherine (I hope that’s how it’s spelled) is just an amazing addition to the staff. She does her absolute best to try to accommodate the patients, even when they’re losing their patience. So, kudos to you, Katherine. ???????????????? Keep up the great work, and remember to take care of you, as well.

What a disappointing experience at this Medicentre today. I registered at 15:30 and made it very clear that I was there to get my ears flushed as they were plugged. No problem, I was told. And it is one of the items available for Fast Track so it is a routine procedure. Since there was an hour wait time it was suggested to leave and come back. So I did that and upon returning, checked in and was told to have a seat. After getting my name called I glanced at the clock: 17:30. Oh well, at least I will be able to hear in a few minutes, I thought. After the doctor looked in my ears he asked one of his staff to book me in for the next day to have the procedure done. Why? Because he did not have a nurse at that time. What?? You could have told me that two hours ago when I registered! And since when can a doctor not do this simple procedure? Everyone was nice, and apologetic, but did nothing to help me. So now I have to wait at another place tomorrow and see if they can help. I will not go back to this centre. Every place has a bad day now and then but where is the service? And to top it off this visit was billable to AB Health. Thanks for nothing. And wasting two+ hours of my Sunday.

Left work early due to feeling ill and attempted to get some treatment or a doctor's note from Dr hasan. She asked my symtoms and upon learning my congestion was more than from just being sick but from my severely broken nose that I've been afraid to get fixed for the past couple years, she would not refer me to get my nose fixed. Began to argue with me saying she was very busy and treated me as if I was on an assembly line instead of looking out for my well-being. I will not return to this medicentre in my life if I can help it.

Slow Sunday morning and we have been waiting over 2 hours (1:30) of it inside an exam room. Two other exam rooms have been turned over twice since we were put in our second holding room. Trying to keep a 4 year old occupied. Checked back at front desk and was told doctor would be with us soon. He has forgotten about this exam room. I can appreciate needing to wait a while at a walk in clinic but this is ludicrous.

I must admit that it's very hit and miss here, depending on multiple variables; the most important one being which doctor you see. I generally try to see Dr. Wingnean because he is thorough and helpful. Unfortunately yesterday I had the displeasure of being seen by Dr. PIDDE. He walked in and out within 1.5 minutes. Before I finished my sentence he told me to let him speak because he has seen this a thousand times yaddeyah. He was very patronizing and also seemed like he wanted to be literally anywhere but there. He actually rolled his eyes and said "I guess, we have this electronic cuff here" when I asked to have my blood pressure taken. To save this doctor and many patients from misery, I would suggest having his licence revolked. Zero bedside manner, or any manners at all. By the way, all of his extremely important knowledge and prognosis was wrong. Every bit.

Was told 30 to 40 minute wait. After an hour of waiting I was told it would be at least another 30 minutes. I had to leave and couldn't continue to wait. I could have drove to Edmonton and got into another clinic in the time I spent here. I'd go somewhere else. The wait times are several multiples of what they tell you.

I went to the medi-clinic after being sick for the last month. I was laying on the bed with a bad headache when he rushed in and demanded I take my sunglasses off(light sensitivity from the headache greeted with insensitivity from the doctor). In response to my concerns about not being able to eat or sleep for the past month, he asked if I was in school and what school I went to, then told me that everyone knows students don't eat or sleep. As if losing 15lbs in 3 weeks is healthy. He gave me a requisition for a cortisol test and denied my request to have more tests done. When I asked for a note to excuse me from school the next day as I had received not received any treatment for my illness, he told me to go to a psychiatrist for one. Dr.Campbell was ignorant, arrogant, rude, and condescending. He belittled my concerns, and denied my requests for a referral so I could get a second opinion. I went in sick, and left sick and crying. I will never return to this medical clinic.

my sons 7 years old had sings of pink eye , we live 2 hours from Edmonton, we happened to be in Sherwood Park and thought to see a walk in doctor at a walk in clinic to get a cream for my son. when we called to see if they were opened the staff asked me if i was fully vaccinated, i stated : what that had to do with my son,? i mean i said why does that matter ? she said the doctor on call will not be in the same place or room with someone who is not fully vaccinated or at least first jab. I cant believe this is happening in CANADA!! SCARY.

This is not a medical facility, this is a business. They are there to make money, if there is a way to charge they will. Took almost 2 months of near constant pain to diagnose a hernia. They are more interested in getting you out the door then helping you. Find a real doctor and avoid this business.

The worst medicentre experience I've ever had. DO NOT go if Dr. Alhask Alhadi is working. He is both dismissive and inept. He wouldn't even examine my girlfriend's ankle (which turned out to be broken). He actively recoiled from her when she asked if he would examine it, and said "No." in response. After being asked four times if he would fill out her union's Practitioner Statement Form, he finally begrudgingly filled out his name and signed it, leaving the rest to be filled out by the front staff. We went for an x-ray right away, as he put it "If you want to...", and we were told he would call if anything showed up on the x-ray. Having heard nothing, we went to her regular doctor who, upon actually EXAMINING the injury, sent us for another x-ray and within the afternoon let us know if was indeed broken and connected us to an orthopedic surgeon. In the past, this same medicentre has given me penicillin, despite both my medical history forms and my own voice stating that I'm allergic to penicillin. Additionally, they have prescribed penicillin to a friend who had mono, which reacts very badly to penicillin and she is now forever allergic to it. Drive/cab/uber to ANY other medicentre; it's worth the expense to avoid Dr. Alhask Alhadi especially. The front desk staff were wonderful, I'll add. They are always very kind and friendly.

Most unfortunate experience with staff. Got disconnected in the middle of a conversation & staff didn't consider to call me back. It took me 13 calls(without success) to discuss what I wanted & wasn't even inside my medical file which makes me wonder how much exactly is missing & incomplete data by my physician... I cannot believe today I called again 3 times (Saturday) with a new menu to get someone to answer my call with no success yet the clinic is SUPPOSEDLY open today. I even made an attempt to request to speak to my physician to ask why the prescription is not complete in my file at front?! Service, by staff, higher levels are most unsatisfactory & I expected a call from them today Saturday but of course no such luck. There is much more from my 13 calls to this Medi centre but I think all will get the "jist " of the service I personally received.

It makes me sad that there are so many negative reviews at this clinic. I first visited the clinic in 2017-2018 and saw Dr. Michael Starko who is sadly no longer at the clinic. When I was searching for a new doctor in December, this clinic was one of the few to actually respond to my requests for a new doctor. I've been seeing Dr. William Campbell since January and he seems willing to listen to patient's concerns. Staff have been friendly to deal with. My only complaint would be that it is very difficult to get through to the clinic on the telephone. More often than not, I have to leave a message. So, if I were to offer any constructive feedback - it would be that. To have an easier way to get a hold of the doctors when you need something like updated paperwork. Edit: I have updated my review as of November 2021. I'm disappointed to find out that Dr. Campbell has switched locations temporarily and was not notified by the clinic. I've also been waiting for referral appointments since Feb-March and have not received calls from the clinics. I'd appreciate a follow up response from the clinic about this.

My review is for Dr. Askarifar, who is one of the best doctors i've ever dealt with, and i have a background with EMS for 20 years. An excellent Physcian, is very thorough with his checks whether it be ECG's, X-Rays, Blood work, etc. You can feel confident in his abilities. Definitely gets an A+ Rating and would highly recommend.

After waiting in the waiting room for 2.5 hours a lady came out of one of the "treatment rooms" stating they had been waiting in there almost an hour to see someone and was someone coming soon? The receptionist is very rude with smile and disrespectful in dealing with me. Although Dr. Ramadan is the family doctor of my children, unfortunately I can not treat my children there because if I call to take an appointment Its always full , even if they are an emergency. Yesterday, After she gave me appointment for my son on day after i told her its emergency i can’t wait, she told me if its emergency take your child to the hospital or come at 3:45 !!! unfortunately when I came 3:40, the receptionist girl told me sorry its full although my son showed a very high temperature !!! and when I told her you told me to come at this time and i came Five minutes early, she answer with careless and rude i told you its full and i cant help you!! Unfortunately, the clinic is next to my house but I always have to go to the hospital or other clinics. I think i have to change the family doctor for my kids!!!

I came for a infection checkup, since the wait time was too long i was told by the staff that you can register and come later after 1-1.5 hours you may have to wait 5.10min. so i did that and after an hour when i came back i was told that you have to wait another 1 hour, i noticed that some people who were here before me went and consulted the Dr. and left but i had to wait 1 hour. So there was no point going back and forth instead the staff should simply say oh wait here dont go anywhere and waste your time. I wasted my 2 hours just waiting.

I went to this medicentre for the first time last year and have since started going there with all of my health concerns and have had nothing but positive experiences. After having a walk-in appointment with Dr. Wingnean, I started making appointments with him and have always been treated with respect, professionalism and care. He always explains what is going on and any prescription he gives me thoroughly so that I know exactly what my next steps are. Whenever I come in, he takes my concerns seriously and I feel confident that I have been well taken care of when I walk out of his office. Thank you!

I tried to visit yesterday after work, around 5:30, and they were closed, despite the online hours indicating a 9PM close time. I couldn't see their business hours posted anywhere around the premesis. However, I have been here in the past, and haven't been dosappointed.

I rarely write reviews and this time I am actually mad. So my roommate caught a cold about 6-7 weeks ago and we bought some tylenol and he started getting better and everything seemed fine. Until 2-3 weeks later, he started to have trouble seeing things. We kind of waited a week to see if it will get better. A week had passed, his eyesight wasn't getting any better so he decided to go see a doctor. He went to this medicentre three times and the one near Kingsway Mall once. What they did was they kept telling him to wait for a few more days and they didn't know what causes it and will have to refer him to a specialist and obviously didn't prescribe him anything. Until yesterday, things got even worse so I had to drive him to the emergency. The doctor there took his time to figure out what actually is going on with my roommate, he then explained to him what is happening and prescribed him medicine. Not sure if the medicine is working. We will have to wait to find out. Why did we even bother to go to these medicentres four times if we could go to the emergency just one time to find out what's going on with my roommate. And of course, the emergency is for people who need immediate help which we should never abuse it. So what are these medicentres doing? What are these people who work there doing? I know what they are doing, they are not giving a fxxk. It's not like we peasants can do anything do about it. You know what, I will just ask google or Siri for help the next time, at least they aren't like some human being who are so full of themselves. p.s. I am not sure if they forget to update the hours of operation on Google or someone closed the clinic earlier. We went there on a Wednesday at ~8:20pm and it was closed.

Dr. Ramadan is a very rude person (DR) and the nurses only care about getting money out of u. I cancelled my appointment for an emergency reason and still they asked for 50$ for not attending. Dr. Ramadan has no knowledge of treating children and if you have any medical background you would notice that. Don't visit that clinic.

I would like to leave a comment that reflects on my experience at the clinic in London. Dr Amin is my doctor and I can assure you that he has always treated me with the most respect and compassion. He seems quiet knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a good doctor. As for the receptionists and the clinical nurses, they have always treated me nice. I respect all the staff for all the work they do. I know they are busy but above all I have seen them treat everybody equally.

Receptionists here are often rude the reason why I don't want to go to this location anymore. Today, the other clinic where I usually go was not open yet so I had to come to this clinic without a choice. And yes, as expected, the guy receptionist is rude! His name is EHAB. He called my number once and without any patience, called next number right away. I approached and said I was number 32 and he said "I called you right there!" in a loud manner. I did not respond as Im not feeling well and he is making it a big deal right away. This is totally a bad attitude as a receptionist in any organization. Please pass this to him!

1- A great experience, Dr. Amin and the team are so friendly and helpful and always smiling, so they let you feel comfortable. 2- Dr. Amin is a kind person, friendly, give the needed time to his patient to talk and ask, so supportive and informative. I always expect more of this clinic. Have had to come here instead of a private office because of lack of identification and provincial healthcare. Every visit is subpar, certain times being especially frustrating. I’ve been so ill with a phlegmy, nauseating cough that I’ve missed multiple days of work and had to come in for a diagnosis. I wasn’t sure what the ailment was at the time, but my symptoms were obvious. Throwing up all my meals, hacking strange-coloured phlegm up, lightheadedness, fatigue, and soreness. I have been told by a doctor here that I “sound clear enough” and was attempted to be dismissed. I had to defend my reasons for coming in to the office and convince them I was sick to get the prescription that ended up actually clearing my lungs in a few days. It’s demoralizing having to advocate so ferociously for myself in a place where I would expect sympathy. Just because I am not actively throwing up in the office doesn’t mean I am well. Other visits, I have had the wait time be inaccurate by hours. Once, I was on a wait anticipated for over an hour. With the reception’s ok-go I took a walk and returned to ask what the updated wait time was. I get asked my name. I was told I was taken off the list ! I am livid as we try to clear things up. Finally I ask what the point was of even having come in earlier if the list is to be neglected. The reception takes my information again and says “Oh actually you are on the list it looks like”. All this trouble for no issue at all. I’m not sure if recordkeeping or inattention or what the heck is to blame, but I usually feel as though I am dealing with employees with little regard for quality of service :(

Its a real hit and miss depending on which doctor you get, Dr. Hassan is by far the best. I would recommend calling to confirm they are open, as they often only have one doctor in the evening, and will close early if they are ill/have to leave. Check online wait times before going or you could be waiting hours.

DO NOT GO HERE. I booked appointments twice and both times when I went there I waited for more than 30 mins, the front desk says I need to understand in a very condescending tone. They don’t seem to understand that people who fortunately still have jobs in this COVID-19 pandemic, take time off their jobs to go there. It seems that their rationale is - we will book the appointment for you but we still do not guarantee the doctor being there on time or even just the doctor being there at all. Very unprofessional, rude. professionalism, commitment are not their forte.

I have been seeing Dr. Hedden at the Parkview Medicentre regularly over the last month due to an acute illness, and I was extremely impressed with the experience! Dr. Hedden was very kind... professional, prompt and he supported me through my illness both medically and psychologically. The clinic staff were very helpful and kind. Short wait times, proper COVID screening... just an all around pleasant experience. Kudos to clinic manager Chris Babant!!!

Had a relative go there and has had a similar experience. I went to this walk in clinic a few weeks ago to get my foot examined and the older Dr barely examined my foot & offered a x ray with little doubt that I wouldn't need one. I am still having problems with my foot but because I'm aboriginal me and my relative got pressured to leave under "professional guidance" that nothing is wrong.

I set up an appointment to have Dr. Askarifar fill out some forms related to my condition and he rescheduled saying "This would take 30 minutes to fill out I cannot do it right now." Ok, so I come back next visit and he took 10 minutes to fill it. Not only delaying the time to process this form, but he had not provided the full medical information required. DELAYING ME ANOTHER 30 DAYS (not to mention the first form faced the same issue). I also had to go for a stool test a while back, they said they'll contact me when the results are in and never called. Aside from all these humble comments from humble patients I would never recommend Parkview Clinic/Doctors. I also feel like he waits for you to diagnose yourself to agree and get you out. I've horribly had the most TERRIBLE,BIZARRE EXPERIENCE here with Dr.J.Swift. :(( Well,I have to rate him 0 out of 5!!! May be even" -5". I thought that at first, he would be the nicest doctor ever.--had given us hugs..I've come to think of it, it must have been "HOLLYWOOD ACTIONS"-- :( ,but has turned out to be outrightly most UNHELPFUL and UNTRUSTWORTHY DOCTOR ever in my entire life. FIRST OF ALL, his serious DISORGANIZED ISSUES are he FREQUENTLY,REPEATEDLY forgets what he is supposed to let the staffs know regarding URGENT appointments ..etc. for some tests. It makes appointments for patients even way much longer delayed than usual. What is worse,he has NEVER admitted any of it,nor yet said"SORRY". For instance,I had asked him some tests from the last November and even given him a list for some test I wanted for sure,but he totally forgot about it. He said in the first place that the staff will call me within A WEEK,then they did not know even a few months later. SECONDLY ,he was extremely THOUGHTLESS AND TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE to tell the patient about the RESULT of the test that it was "URGENT " that made me think it'd be "CANCER". :(( It made me awfully anxious and nerve wracking,and then terribly frustrating 3 weeks later ( Only the appointment process for biopsy), He just said bluntly that it had just come out of his mouth and even yelled at me that he did ABSOLUTELY NOT want to make it sooner at all for me.(Then the appointment's ended up more than 3 months later from now on) , although delaying the appointment way much longer is also his total negligence that he did not let the staff know about it from the last winter for several months. Anyway,he outrightly gave me a POINT-BLANK REFUSAL with a nasty look. OMG! I was completely appalled by his bald-faced refusal. He should NEVER have told me so in the first place,then if he did NOT really want to change the system that much as he told me so. Well ,now,I have to face tons of TORTUROUS TIME for 3 months until I get the ACCURATEE result of the biopsy whether it is CANCER or not ,THANKS TO his CARELESS REMARK about the result. LASTLY , the worst of all,he even tried to have pinned his a lot of HABITUAL MISTAKES on my English as if there was some misunderstanding --ABSOLUTELY NOT!!-- instead of saying sincerely "sorry!". OMG!! it was not only intolerable attitude but also definitely a rascally manner. Nobody has told me in ancient ages that my English is BAD right in front of my face!! What a good manner!!! JUST UNBELIEVABLE!! :( Well,may be,he should have given me ENGLISH TEST in the first place we had met. It made me feel terribly AWFUL just like somebody hit my head very hard on purpose. :(( He's undoubtedly humiliating his patient!!!!! I did find totally different sides of his awful MEANNESS and NASTINESS. :(( DO NOT GO see DR. J.E.SWIFT!! UNLESS YOUR MAJOR IS ENGLISH or YOUR ENGLISH IS SUPER-DUPER PER~FECT and OUTSPOKEN person. Showed up today at 0945 on September 22nd for my son with potential croup. Registration went off without a hitch and told it would be an hour wait. Still here at 1152 and not seen. It's based on triage, I get it. But when I went up at 1130 to inquire where we were on the list, we were told there was one person ahead of us. Now 4 people have been taken in front of us even though none of those people had arrived after I checked so I know they weren't triaged ahead of us

She set me up with Dr. Hedden @ 3 pm. I'm assuming they were very busy but still manage to accommodate my situation. The staff were very polite and friendly; You wont hesitate to ask question. It's really nice that it was open on a holiday. They're a little small, but they got to me really fast and got me the prescription I needed within 20 minutes of arriving. It's in the same building as the Rexall pharmacy as well which is super convenient. My doctor was very nice and straightforward.

Went to see the doctor on the 17th, he gave me an ultrasound test, it's been one full week and they haven't given me a call back; insight imagining said, they had sent my results back on the same day of the exam to the doctor! (Which was on 18th) I am still in pain and waiting for results! If it was my own family doctor (which is in Calgary) I wouldn't have ever waited this long to know what my ultrasound results are! They said 2 to 5 business days; it's the 6th business day today! I called the medicentre and I am not even on the callback list! Which means the doctor still has to view my results from the radiologist report; and then schedule me for a call back! Service level extremely poor!

I advice strongly to stay away from this clinic. After coming here for almost 10 years I am so done with this place, the phone is never answer, appointments are weeks apart, the doctor is away for months, waiting times are horrific, you go there as a walk in on the registered open hours in the website and google, and they are either closed because the doctor didn't show up, or because they feel like it who knows... or they aren't accepting any walk in's for the day. So if you wanna go and waste your time go there. I give them 2 stars because the Doctors are good but as always super rushed. And Head office people is RUDE!! why you even bother to put a "costumer care line" if you are going to be grouchy about the complaints. Never again!!

I have seen a few doctors and specialists over the years and I have worked with quite a few physicians and specialists over my career. I can honestly say I have seen the good, the bad and the great...Dr. John Hedden is one of the great ones in my book. I have only met him recently and i can tell he takes great care with his patients. I am thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and the respect that he shows with Alix, his MOA and I haven't met the rest of the team yet but from I've seen...I'm happy I found them. I needed to see a specialist and I've already received confirmation that the referral was sent. Believe me that does not always happen. I had an xray done right away..fast and convenient, and the pharmacy staff was fantastic helping me out with my insurance etc. He's always happy and he just sounds like a very interesting person to get to know! I also think he's funny as hell, but professional when he needs to be. Thank you for making my new home a little easier to settle into. I appreciate it. I only have one wish...opening earlier at say 5 or 6am would be great before going to work in the mornings...just a thought! ????????

I was recently at Parkview Medicentre and wanted to share my experience. First off the three ladies working there were very nice and super helpful with sending off my paperwork and answering all my questions. I waited approximately 10 minutes before seeing the Doctor Hedden and he was excellent. He had me at ease and laughing when I left. What I would change is waiting areas and examination rooms. The exam rooms are tiny and need some TLC as they are really showing wear. Also if there was some sort of noise cancelling as you can unfortunately can hear other patients.

Dr. Hassan takes adequate amount of time for the appointment and the staff are all very friendly. The only thing I would change is sometimes have to wait on hold when calling in (but this seems to have improved since the clinic first opened). They never receive call. They do not call back. Every time reason is High volume of calls. Every time I ask for appointment for family doctor ,they are fully booked. Every time minimum 2 hours of waiting time. Every time they have same reasons. After calling 3 times to clinic ,(call not answered) I reached clinic at 4.15 pm. Closing time was 5 pm. Only one patient was there. And they said we are not taking any more walk ins. Being a full time student I get free only after 4 pm. I explained my problem to receptionist , I was having ear pain from 2 days ,and what I realized is they don't care about patient's problem and they were just thinking of their timing. Finally I went to other clinic and they took me in though they also closed walk ins .They understood my problem.

I went in here on Dec.19 and stood at the desk waiting to be acknowledged as three staff instead decided it was more important to loudly talk about their personal life, and saying (or not saying) goodbye to a fellow co-worker etc. They laughed and gossiped as I stood there. Once their conversation came to an end, I was then acknowledged and she replied "Hey.." like she was annoyed she had to do some work. This is not the first time this has happened at this clinic. Excellent service, I walked in late on a Wednesday and was in and talking with a doctor in less than 3 or 4 minutes. Excellent doctor, had a suspected diagnosis before I left and had me go for blood tests the next morning. Followed up on the blood tests himself and phoned me at work the same afternoon, wrote me a prescription to pick up while on the phone and made an appointment to meet with me on the Saturday morning for more follow up. Amazing. From a walk-in clinic no less.

I come here based on how i am treated by charity at the front end as well as dr.daniels. i always have a great experience despite my visits being whenever im not feeling good. Thank you for your care and i love seeing the front end staff who all care for the elderly and young that frequent this clinic. They know their patients by name and care that they are HAPPY and healthy. You can call for wait times and appointments as well they have one treatment room so it is always a good idea to call on their daily status if you need more than the usual doctors note or prescription for antibiotics. There is also a starbucks across the street so if the wait times are long you can take a break and grab a hot tea. When entering you just take your number at the front desk and they call you up to register your information (Alberta Health Card and Drivers License) and can tell you how many people are before you. Hope this helps on your next visits!

Although I have a family doctor elsewhere in the city, in a pinch I'll go to the Downtown MediCentre because the wait times are typically hardly existent (which is shocking for a medi centre, especially being located downtown!). For my visit today, the wait time was over an hour, which I had never experienced at this MediCentre in the past. I figured that I'd stay and wait it out because at that point, any other walk-in clinic would probably have a similar wait time. EVEN though my wait time was quite a bit longer than past visits, I still give 5 stars as Dr. Hassan was AMAZING! Incredibly thorough and extremely helpful. It was NOT your average medi-centre Dr. type experience! From my understanding, it was busy because she was the only physician on this evening, and lots of patients go to see HER specifically. Highly recommended!

My husband had cut his finger open and was actively bleeding. We decided to come here instead of clogging up the ER. We've been here before but when he had arrived he was told they are no longer a walk in clinic. When he explained he cut his finger they said they would squeeze him in. They had asked if he was vaccinated and he had not been fully vaccinated yet. The Doctor, Dr. K, refused to see him because of his vaccine status. The nurse then took a picture of the cut, went and showed the doctor to see if he indeed needed stitches. The nurse came back into the room and said the doctor will not be seeing him but she will do the stitches. The stitches are not approximated very well, and being a nurse myself I know that suturing is not in our scope of practice, unless she is a nurse practitioner or has advanced training, which she wouldn't tell us. This is beyond unprofessional on both the Doctor and Nurses part.

Avoid if you want to leave this clinic a sane person. Also be warned that the wait times are not accurate on the website. They check people in VERY slowly (I waited almost an hour with a number before being checked in by a staff member) so it’s not accurately reported how many people are actually waiting. The only positive out of this 3 hour visit was seeing Doctor Hussan who was great.

He has looked into things where others didn't bother, and has caught early diagnoses by doing this. I will however say the receptionists are never great. Like..never. they however have hired two male receptionists lately who are absolutely fantastic. Always polite and easy to talk to. The women however are always rude and condescending.

I signed up as a new patient a few weeks ago. The clinic contacted me a couple of weeks after indicating that I was approved as a new patient and will need to book an appointment. I followed up to book an appointment, however I was not able to speak to a receptionist despite multiple calls across several days. The phone line goes directly to voicemail. I finally left a voicemail with my contact details but have not received a call back. Abysmal service. UPDATE: After receiving the response from the owner in regards to my experience, I contacted the number provided in the response. The line was answered by an operator who seemed confused about the reason of my call and indicated that I need to provide a specific contact name in order to speak to anyone. As no contact name was provided in the response, I could not comply. The agent informed me that there was nothing they could do and no one they could refer me to. LET ME STRESS - THIS OCURRED AFTER I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS, AS PROVIDED BY THE OWNER'S RESPONSE TO MY CONCERN. I was unpleasantly disappointed with the clinic's level of service (if there were any options for alternate medical care in London, ON, I would most definitely never look back, however there are none at present). However, a complete lack of accountability and process in handling my concerns only served to further exacerbate the already abysmal service. Disgraceful!

My family doctor is at this clinic and although she is very kind, I feel that she takes on too much at a time and she does things too quickly, making me feel rushed and not understood. Additionally, the receptionists are extremely rude and unprofessional. They do the absolute least when it comes to any sort of accomodation to your needs. They lack empathy in their service, which I believe is necessary when working at a doctor's office. In general, people go to the doctor when they are feeling unwell and the last thing they need is a rude and unprofessional receptionist 'greeting' them at the front desk. Unfortunately for the doctors, this kind of behaviour coming from the receptionists really undermines any hard work that the doctors put in for taking care of their patients.

I’m not really used to how they do things here. You check in and can come and go as you please without actually losing a place in line. I think the people who actually choose to wait get screwed because there are always people coming and going who may or may not have been checked in previously. If someone they know comes in, they go right to the front of the line, but they apparently think no one sees that.

I live downtown and this is my go to walk in clinic. I haven’t had a family doctor in almost 15 years and since moving to Alberta from Ontario over 6 years ago. (I know I should really get one already) I’ve seen a couple of different doctors at this clinic and I’ve never had an issue. Front desk staff have always been polite and helpful, sadly I can’t say that about other walk in clinics I’ve been to in the city. They’re usually pretty upfront and accurate about their wait times here and pretty quick. I had seen Dr Hassan today and I’ve seen her there a few other time’s I’ve gone for a walk in. She is a gem, always very nice, helpful and actually listens to you. I’ve also seen another doctor that I really liked there too, sadly I can’t remember his name (smaller Asian man) he’s great too!

absolutely the epitome of terrible service! i can't even count on 2 hands the amount of times the front end staff were rude, gave misinformed info, and just generally should not be involved with customer service! also the hours posted mean nothing, multiple times they have just closed at random times, i have phoned and made appointments just to wait hours to get seen, i have paid for cabs to get there just to be told to wait hours or to leave and come back, dr's are always rushed and don't seem to really care about the patient, just prescribe a pill and onto the next person. yet i walk a block down the street to Jasper Medical and get brought in within 45 minutes every single time, and have doctors that actually seem to genuinely care about their patients! i have sat in the waiting area and listened to non stop complaints from other patrons etc. Extremely disappointing, i will be changing my family doctor and changing to a different clinic, but i imagine in order to do that i will have to wait in line for an hour and deal with rude people!

Went to this medicentre location after visiting two other locations because the wait times were to long. The darker gentleman at the front desk told me the wait time would be approximately 1 1/2hours, after an 1 hour waiting I went back to the desk verify the wait time and now he told me another 2 1/2 hours !!!! I asked why would you tell me 1 1/2 if it was going to be closer to 4 hours he said in a smug look that it was just an approximation. I Never did get a chance to rate the doctor, I’m sure he is fine but the reception at that location are horrific. Let’s remember guys that is still a business and customer service goes a long way.

I have never waited any longer than two hours to see my doctor, and that was on a very busy day. My doctors nurse, Sandy is always very nice to me. She is a busy woman and is very involved with her work. Even onnher bads days she still tries to be nice to me & other people. Sometimes it seems to me that she helps run the office, and thats a lot of work. My doctor treats me like a person not just a patient. He is comforting and honest. He says it like it is. And he is very thorough. If he thinks there is something wrong, he sends me to a specialist. And he'll doesn't give up until he's satisfied that everything is good. He doesn't prescribe pills for every little thing,. He only prescribes something if its absolutely becessary. And thats why I love my doctor and his nurse. They are both good to me. Dr Hassan seems like a good doctor but this office is so very unorganized and don't treat clients well. Difficult to make and keep an appointment. Wait times are insane even if you have an appointment. Clinic staff don't seem to know what's going on and often record info incorrectly. The doctor there should have their license taken away. They lied and said serology testing for Covid is "not available" in Alberta when I wanted a requisition. This is completely illegal and related to personal views on Covid. I went to a different clinic to get it done and will be complaining about this illegal "misinformation"and personal prejudice.

I’ve had Dr. Kharal be my doctor for going on 10 years now. She has always made me feel important and listened to. She’s always valued my time and stressed the importance of taking care of myself in a positive way. She’s created a safe environment where I feel open to talk about and seek help for anything. The lovely ladies at reception have always been pleasant to deal with on the phone; but especially in person. I always hear friends complaints of their offices (and especially receptionist) but honestly, that just hasn’t been my experience. I came in bleeding. Waited here for over 2 hours so a the nurse may stop the bleeding and disinfect my injury. After the long wait without anyone seeing me I ended up leaving. The sheer level of incompetence at this clinic is staggering and thus I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Luckily for me, the pharmacist at the pharmacy next door was kind enough to show me how to stop the bleeding and disinfect the wound. She also helped me pick the appropriate first aid products.

Absolutely terrible service. The nurses aren't getting patients in the room because they are chatting and don't seem to care there are people leaving and tons of people waiting. Lots of sketchy people here. Wish I went to the my regular doctor across town. It surely would have been faster despite living across the street from this clinic. If you're coming here for the first time - take a number and come back an hour or two later. The system here is really screwy, they don't register you until right before they let you in the room but they won't talk to you until they call your number so you can't ask how long it will be so you spend hours waiting.

He was my previous doctor just a year and half ago .when he came in the examination room he was extremely so rude to me I completely felt nervous and threatened the way he received me .he didn't ask me anything else about my health .He started saying why I was there and that he can't help me because he is not my doctor .He asked me very personal questions like wether I'm married or not and who I live with . While I was still talking to him and tried to explain how I was feeling He blocked me my mouth and didn't listen to me at all and he has been very unprofessional and awfully rude telling me I have been going to another doctors .I told him I don't have a regular doctor I always go to the closest doctors office. He was saying that if he is not my doctor I will have to go to my own doctor. I told him and he knows he was my previous doctor and he ignored the fact and denied that he never saw me before .oh my god. They have my record and he was my doctor just year and half ago. HE didn't check me at all..when he finished the arguments and how bad he treated me he folded his personal effects and told me he couldn't help me ,because he was not my doctor. I was speeches and felt he ignored my rights as a patient. I will never go back there again! When I left there I was shocked and the way he mistreated me it was unacceptable.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Awful experience. Went there for paperwork to get a simple blood test done and was told the result might be in the next day. I was advised no one would call me though because they were short-staffed and wouldn't have time to look. I was told to call and ask if the result was in so I would know if I needed to go in to hear it. When I called the next day they refused to tell me if the result was in and said they had no idea why I was told I could call about that. On top of that they closed an hour earlier so I had no time to attend in person to ask due to work obligations, after just the day before I was assured I would have time to come in if anything had in fact arrived. I then got a call the next day that the result was in. Crazy they told me over the phone the result was in! Strange that it was suddenly ok to do that whereas literally the day before they refused. I went right after they called and arrived at 12pm only to be turned away. They close at 4 but the doctor in was refusing to take any more patients and unlike OTHER CLINICS IN EDMONTON they refused to just tell me my result over the phone so I could only get it by being told by this doctor who now wouldn't see me. So now my result is being withheld for me for yet ANOTHER DAY. I tried to book an appointment for the next day but was informed they do not take appointments on weekends, so I just had to show up and hope for the best....like today. Which you know, worked out so well. Already had to wait forever just to get the paperwork for blood work, now I have to wait forever just to hear a yes or no answer for my result? As if people have nothing else to do but sit in a very busy clinic with sick people all day? People who need the time of the doctor, and not someone like me who just needs a simple quick update on thier test? I don't understand this clinic. I'm not sick or in need of any type of examination. Why do I have wait and take time away from those who actually need it? I recommend you go somewhere else if you urgently want the result of any blood work you take. They don't seem to care how urgent it is for you to know YOUR OWN RESULT that you are entitled to have, even if they have it sitting on thier desk. They will make you wait and take up thier time and everyone else's who needs medical care. I assume this is because they are selfish and greedy, being paid per visit. If other clinics can give it over the phone, then thier refusal isn't due to the alleged security/confidentiality restrictions, which they babble out to you as a reason. Who else other than me would know I was waiting for a result? How is it credit card companies can verify my ID with simple questions over the phone, but this clinic cannot, even if I offer to provide my Alberta Health Care Card number, or any other information they have on me that could easily verify my identity? Sorry, but I am calling BS. If I can help it I will never go back.

I am blown away! I came in and i had seen doctor (koley) not sure of his name, an elderly man. Im new to the city and do not have a family doctor, I had some pregnancy concerns as im a new mother, so I go in here in tears and the nurse had me in right away, I went into the doctors office ( I had just got blood work done the day before) he got my blood work results in minutes!! Im still unsure how my pregnancy is but he was a huge help and I'm forever greatful! First time here and I won't be going anywhere else from now on! Oh, and the nurses were very nice and very professional! :)

I understand wait times can be long at a walk in clinic, that's fine. But currently due to COVID 19 they only book appointments, no walk ins. I called at 9am right when they opened and booked an appointment for 2pm today. Showed up slightly before 2 just in case. You can not even leave a message, as you need to know mail box number. After seeing many similar concerns on google , I believe Medicentre is responsible for all this mess as they are allowing this to happen, ignoring customer feedback. Why bother having an online wait time notification if it is absolutely inaccurate? The online notice said 30 minutes so I raced over there from work. After checking in, the receptionist confirmed it was now a 45 minute wait - ok, I can live with that. After 1.5 hours waiting, I ask again, being told there are 4 more people ahead of me and it "shouldn't be long". At 2 hours, I ask again and am then told (by a 3rd receptionist) it will be another 2 hours and I may as well go back to work and come back later. What a joke! Are the people at the front trained to feed patients a load of bull?

I first want to say I never go out of my way to write reviews like this but came on here just to write one for Dr Amin. I've given this clinic plenty of chances over the years to clear my own doubts, but every single appointment I've ever went to made me feel unheard and like my medical needs were not taken seriously. I honestly get the impression the doctor is more concerned about making a paycheck than genuinely wanting to help people. He's friendly on the surface, but being friendly is not enough when you're dealing with serious problems from your patients. There have been times when I've booked multiple appointments for the same exact issue and it always felt like I was running in circles, wasting my time and energy on something that will never get resolved. All the medication I've been prescribed and services I've paid for at this clinic in the past did absolutely nothing for my body, leaving me to figure out what next steps I need to take. Come to think of it, there was never a time when I was even referred to a specialist for anything. The appointments themselves are very rushed, almost like the doctor wants to go in and out. I understand there a lot of appointments to get through, but if you're rushing your patient's appointments, maybe that's a tell-tale sign you need to find other capable doctors to place in your clinic who can assist with coverage. Either that, or accept that some patients do require a bit more time than others. I've also noticed this doctor doesn't like to address more than one concern at an appointment even if the appointment runs for no longer than 5-10 minutes. I was initially thrilled to find a doctor that was close to home and made it convenient for me to drop by. Now I have no choice but to explore other options. It's a shame. I wish I changed doctors sooner before London became over-populated.

This is the place to come if you want to feel degraded and belittled for wanting to see a physician. The blonde lady I think her names diane should be working in security rather than working in a clinical environment with patients she talks so condescendingly in regards to my visit as if she can not deal with my presence. Very bad patient etiquette, third time I’ve dealt with her for an ongoing wcb claim well the rest of the staff have always treated me very kind and just, not once has she warmly greeted me and once I’m finally acknowledged she points to the numbers as she texts on her cellphone. For the most part the doctors are good for a walk-in basis but I do not look forward to dealing with this staff member. I hope for her coworkers to call my number up to help me instead!
